A restored hotel designed for families. It appears to have undergone extensive renovations, but many of the "old" elements still remain. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was quite small. The breakfast and dinner were truly delicious.

Great, family- and dog-friendly hotel in an idyllic location. We felt completely at home at the Hotel Löwen. The location is quiet and very idyllic – ideal for families with children and dogs. We particularly enjoyed the numerous play areas for children, including a small soccer field with a goal wall – a real highlight. The restaurant is highly recommended: good selection, delicious food, and friendly service. In general, the entire staff was always friendly, helpful, and very accommodating, even to our dog. Thank you for the lovely stay.

We stayed there for the weekend with our two-year-old daughter. The welcome in the room with a surprise for the children was simply heartwarming. The family room with bathtub, shower, and double sink was spacious, clean, and nice and warm. The facilities, including a playground, play street with vehicles, animals, and an indoor playroom, are great. We didn't use the swimming pool due to a cold, so I can't comment on that. The breakfast buffet was good and had a nice selection. You have to book the restaurant for dinner when booking. The food was absolutely amazing (Löwenschnitzel, venison goulash, pike-perch fillet, apple strudel) and the service was excellent and very friendly, especially to the children. We are completely thrilled and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended. Our request for a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of white wine in our room upon arrival was also honored. After checking out in the morning, we were still able to use the hotel all day and didn't have to leave immediately. Thank you, dear Löwenhotel team, for a thoroughly enjoyable weekend. For us, this wonderful hotel was "just" a stopover on our way south, but I can recommend everyone to spend more time here. Especially families with children, of course. We received such a warm welcome, had a wonderful room, and enjoyed the delicious food in the in-house restaurant. Absolutely recommend it! Everything is lovingly designed and child-friendly, truly beautiful.

Bad reception, bad treatment, rude owner! Avoid this place!

We can't comment on the rooms. Despite high occupancy, the manager still managed to get us a spot. The food was excellent, and the wine recommendation was perfect. Especially important for families: you don't have to wait too long for the food. Children get their meals fairly quickly. The hotel is highly recommended for families. We were there with our RV, and upon request, we were allowed to stay overnight without any problems. Thank you again for that. If we're in the region next year, we will definitely stay there again.

A truly great hotel, even for a couple without children. Check-in was easy, the rooms were chic and clean, and the breakfast was fantastic. A great selection and everything was delicious. We were there outside of school season. Adults also enjoy little surprises. So, a truly great hotel ;)

As mentioned in other reviews, the hotel is a bit dated. BUT the rooms are clean, you can see that they're being renovated, and the rooms are large enough for a family. The heated pool is also a big plus. The water was really warm and the entire pool was very clean. The breakfast buffet was simply delicious, and the evening meal was also very good. The only thing I personally found disappointing was that the hotel doesn't offer hot meals at lunchtime, and the restaurant is closed from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. I didn't mind that in itself. I just would have liked to have had crockery in the lounge (which is really quaint and cozy) so that we could have a snack at lunchtime. However, upon request, we were given crockery without any problem.

We visited the restaurant for dinner. Thanks to the beautifully designed outdoor area, our 3-year-old was able to have a great time during our visit. Our baby's porridge was warmed up without any problems upon request. The menu features classic German dishes. Accordingly, the menu is meat-heavy. There are a few vegetarian options. The children's menu, on the other hand, is very extensive, so there should be something for every little gourmet. The food arrived quickly and the staff was friendly. We had cheese spaetzle and schnitzel dishes. I would like to highlight the homemade spaetzle. The cheese spaetzle, on the whole, were quite dry and not very cheesy for my taste. The others' schnitzel dishes were okay. The fries on the side were very tasty! For dessert, we ordered the apple fritters. These were truly fabulous and beautifully presented. The price of the meal was rather mid-range, around €70 for 2 adults + 1 toddler.

We were only there for dinner and not in the hotel. The food here is excellent and highly recommended. The menu is varied with regional dishes. The service is quick and attentive, and you can immediately tell that they are experts. They're friendly to children, dogs are welcome, etc. The dishes aren't exactly cheap, but the portions are large and the quality is excellent. There seems to be a really good chef in the kitchen. We'd be happy to come back for more.

We stopped here on our way to Italy and were very, very satisfied. A beautiful room, great service, very attentive staff, a very, very good and plentiful breakfast with fresh rolls, a very good restaurant... Everything was perfect.

Perfect family hotel Giant playground, bouncy castle, indoor games room, pool, chess, vehicles, animals, slackline, table tennis—just great, everything for the kids. The food is incredibly delicious! We love coming here. The ABC pool and the Alpsitzbahn and coaster are nearby. We'd love to come back.

A great family hotel in the Allgäu region for all ages. Beautiful, large, and clean rooms, great food, and a great location.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Italy. This location is perfect if you're traveling with small children. After a long day in the car, there's plenty for them to do on the property. We also have to cater to gluten-free needs in our family, and they were very accommodating, offering plenty of gluten-free options. I would definitely return.

A beautiful family hotel where we stayed with our family of three sons (ages 11, 8, and 8) for four nights (August 18-21, 2025)! A spacious room with a beautiful view and two separate areas: one for the children with a bunk bed and a full-sized extra bed (not a sofa bed, but a really good folding bed with a real mattress: fantastic!). Our three sons slept together in their children's area and we in ours. The bathroom was lovely and spacious. The play facilities at the family hotel were fantastic: go-karts, a bouncy castle, a large chessboard, soccer goals, a trampoline, and more outside, plus animals (goats, geese, and rabbits). There's also a playroom inside, which our oldest son even enjoyed. The food is delicious and the service is super fast and friendly. A very extensive and delicious breakfast, and in the mornings you can also purchase a packed lunch (we always did, so you don't have to worry about finding something to eat for the kids during the day). In the evening, the family-run hotel restaurant serves super delicious food: fast and friendly service with a variety of options (spaghetti, rice, "zwiebeln" (sweet potato chips), etc.). From 3:00 PM, you can also enjoy a light snack: coffee with warm apple pie, warm vanilla pudding, and a scoop of ice cream—it's absolutely delicious! The location is close to the highway (but just far enough away to avoid it), making it easily accessible and ideal for excursions (Sollereck family mountain with its marble runs and toboggan run is an hour away, Neuschwanstein Castle and the Ziegelweis nature center are less than 30 minutes away, Cambomare swimming pool in Kempten is less than 25 minutes away, and Alspitz with its toboggan run and swimming pool is nearby, less than 5 minutes away in Nesselwürg itself). To round things off, we also spent a day at LEGOLAND, which was about an hour's drive away. The kids said, "Dad, we want to come back next year." Our vacation for next year is already booked. Highly recommended with kids!

We had a lovely time in room 101. The terrace with a mountain view has a whirlpool, which we preferred to use in the evenings and where we could also see the starry sky. The room was very clean. Room cleaning could have been omitted, and instead we received a free drink in the restaurant. Very good! The terrace of room 101 could use some more care and comfort. The staff was always friendly. The restaurant and breakfast were very good, and we were satisfied. White sausages on Sundays – delicious! Our child felt at home from the very first minute and was able to play in a relaxed atmosphere. In general, it is designed for families and is very child-friendly, and they have complete freedom. A lot of renovations have already been done in the house, and the house still has old, rustic areas, which preserves some of its old-world character. This is very nice and makes the overall ambiance cozy and authentic. We really enjoyed our stay and say thank you!

We stayed at the Hotel Löwen for 5 nights with our 2 children (3 and 4 years old) at the beginning of August. Our children tell us every day that they loved it there and want to come back! The rooms were clean and comfortably furnished. The pool was perfectly adequate, and the outdoor area was simply fantastic! The breakfast was also perfectly adequate for us and varied. The location is also central and ideal for excursions. We will definitely come back again; we simply felt at home!

We had a wonderful vacation with our 3-year-old child at the Hotel Löwen. It's absolutely perfect for children with the many facilities the hotel offers: an indoor playroom, a swimming pool with a slide, a playground, a trampoline, a bouncy castle, soccer goals, an electric goal wall (also a highlight for the adults 😍), animals... We all loved it! It's also a great location for excursions. We mostly ate in the hotel restaurant in the evenings. We found everything to be delicious without exception, and we always had an eye on the playground and other amenities when our child wanted to go off to play again. We would come back anytime! 👍

This was our second time there and we would definitely go back. The reception was incredibly friendly. All the staff were friendly. The food was excellent and delicious. The hotel also has a great selection of activities for children. And it's centrally located. We'd love to come back.

This was our fifth stay. We still met the old owners. As always, it was very nice. The food was delicious, and the children were very happy too. The rooms are very nice. A lot of renovations have been done. What's great is that every room now has a balcony, which wasn't the case before. The only thing that was annoying was the constant smell of cigarettes in your room. It was very annoying, especially after sleeping at night. The staff were very friendly and attentive. With the new owners, you got the impression that they were very stressed and sometimes didn't have a friendly tone towards other guests. They also simply took the salt, pepper, ketchup, and mayo set from our table without asking if we still needed it. The salad buffet lacked variety; it was always the same. The breakfast buffet was varied, but it wasn't refilled until very late. The indoor pool is much too warm (like a sauna), and the floor needs to be properly cleaned. Otherwise, we were very satisfied and will definitely come back!

An all too brief one night stay driving back to the UK from Italy. We arrived late after the reception had closed but everything was left ready for us at the front desk. Family suite room was perfect, very tasty evening meal (with great service) and a fabulous breakfast got us back on the way the next morning. Beautiful area, wish we could have stayed longer.

Great hotel for a family vacation. We were there with our three children. They all had a blast and were able to let off steam in the outdoor and indoor play areas and in the indoor pool. The breakfast buffet is very extensive, with a wide selection. The food in the restaurant is also very tasty. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the value for money is excellent. What more could you want?

We stayed here as a family of four (children aged 4 and almost 7) for three nights. I highly recommend this hotel for families. Kids will have a great time here, and the parents will benefit too, of course. Unfortunately, we were very unlucky with the weather...

This was our second time there and we were very satisfied again. The rooms are well-maintained and clean, and all the staff were always very friendly and smiling. There were great play opportunities for the kids, both outside and inside when the weather was bad. Our son really liked the new electronic goal wall. 😊 We'd love to come back!

We stayed at the Löwen family hotel in the summer of 2025 as a family of four. To put it bluntly, and a sign on the building from seemingly bygone times makes it clear, it's more of an inn than a hotel. The service at reception and in some areas in the restaurant area was less than welcoming. The food is perhaps okay for children's needs, but as an adult, there was little opportunity to enjoy a balanced and varied diet. The hotel tried to create a hospitable, family-friendly atmosphere with small touches, but the ideas weren't particularly loving or stylish. The room was relatively clean but quite narrow. There were sufficient parking spaces. There was no minibar or air conditioning in the room, but there was a fairly large terrace. The furnishings were simple and not very modern. The entire building seemed quite dated, and a workman was busy on several floors, carrying out repairs, which also looked rather unappealing. The pool area was fine but not particularly clean, nor was the playroom. We would have hoped for more from the outdoor facilities, including the animals. While there are play areas for children, they are exhausted relatively quickly and are sometimes not very welcoming. We wouldn't visit the hotel again.

We never post reviews, but we didn't want to let this one pass unnoticed. Both at check-in and in the restaurant, the staff were completely unfriendly. If even our 3-year-old daughter noticed this, I think it's pretty obvious. We don't expect much, but for a hotel that's specifically designed for children, our room was no different than a standard room in any other hotel. For 300 euros a night + 100 euros for food, we expect a little more. The indoor playground is great fun for the kids, but outside it's rather dangerous. The bikes along a stream full of nettles, pebbles on the playground... it's a real shame. We expected a fantastic stopover, but it turned out differently. If you want a stopover on the way to Austria, like us, fine, but you might as well stay in a standard hotel.

Great family home with friendly staff.

We don't often write reviews, but unfortunately, this time we find it helpful for people considering the hotel. Online, the hotel appears very child-friendly and atmospheric. The playground is lovely, the pool wonderfully warm, but the staff doesn't seem particularly happy to welcome guests. We were rudely and curtly addressed upon arrival, and even having to order a cup of coffee in the restaurant because our room wasn't ready seemed like too much to ask. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is gray and cold, and the staff also snap at each other. The floor around the doors is open and taped off everywhere. Our advice this time: look elsewhere! Tip: If you're considering staying in Nesselwang, the pizzerias are fantastic!

A great hotel with good value for money. Friendly staff, very good food. We had a lovely, renovated room with bunk beds. The pool is a wonderful temperature. The playground, trampoline, playroom, and pool were perfect for our daughter. We would happily recommend the hotel.

We recently had dinner at the Löwen family hotel. The location is really nice, and the food—we had turkey gyro—was pretty good. Unfortunately, the beer was a bit too warm and lacked carbonation. The service was attentive. However, the atmosphere was quite loud, a bit reminiscent of a cafeteria.

A truly great hotel. Perfect for families. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor play areas. Everyone is very child-friendly and generally very friendly. We had a lovely room with a small balcony overlooking the playground and the mountains. The breakfast was truly delicious, and there's a great selection. The breakfast was good, it actually had a lot of variety. Sometimes there were white sausages, sometimes pancakes, sometimes donuts or croissants. The evening meal, however, was nothing. My vegetables were almost certainly frozen, because that's what frozen carrots taste like, and the hollandaise sauce came from a carton. The indoor pool was good, nice and warm, and you could help yourself to kickboards or something similar from a box. The rooms were okay in terms of size, but there was no refrigerator or kettle, which is actually important for a family hotel. The carpeting needed a good clean; it smelled pretty bad... There were cables hanging down on the balcony, which is definitely not child-safe... The indoor play area was super cool, and so were the outdoor play area and the vehicles. We still wouldn't come back because the price-performance ratio isn't right. It's supposed to be a family hotel, but it's more like a 3-star country inn. There's no childcare.

We spent a big family reunion at the Löwen family hotel. We arrived on Friday and received a very warm welcome. Right outside the door, there was a water bowl and a bowl of dog treats. Our room with a cute bunk bed (it's a small house), a treasure chest, and a basket of treats for our dog were a hit. We also had a large balcony with a beautiful view. The room and bathroom were super clean and had everything you could need. The family atmosphere was immediately apparent. Our son (7 years old) was out and about the whole time... at the huge playground (as soon as the rain stopped), in the games room (which is amazing and has something for every child), at the giant chessboard, and by the vehicles... our daughter loved the free Wi-Fi... We were very surprised by the huge breakfast buffet! It had everything you could wish for (on Sundays they even serve white sausages)! The dinner (we had a snack platter and a grill platter) was excellent. The table was beautifully decorated every time (we were celebrating a birthday). The service was prompt, very friendly, and they checked in regularly to see if we were satisfied or if we needed anything else. All the staff are very friendly, helpful, and courteous. I particularly like the little thoughtful details... the welcome board at the entrance, the small wooden staircase for children at the reception, the flowers on the tables (including outside), the miniature lion heads on the wall in the room... a lot of heart and soul went into this! Thanks to the team at the Hotel Löwen for a wonderful weekend!!!

What a wonderful place for an overnight stay with children on the way to Italy. Everything has been thought of. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back, and maybe even stay a little longer, as there's plenty to do in the surrounding area.

Overall, a great hotel that we can definitely recommend. It's especially recommended for younger children (highlights: goats, rabbits, playground, trampoline, soccer field, indoor pool with warm water open until 10 p.m.). Structurally, parts of the hotel and the rooms are a bit dated. However, the bathroom facilities in the rooms and the restaurant were in new and good condition. The rooms, as well as other parts of the hotel, were always clean and hygienic. The staff were mostly very friendly. The food in the restaurant was exceptionally good and very reasonably priced. Location: Beautiful view of the countryside and the mountains. However, it's a bit out of the way and out of the way. However, there are plenty of free parking spaces, so you can always get around with your own car.

A lovely family hotel with a terrace overlooking the playground. So you can enjoy a refreshing drink while the kids play in the playground. We often come here when we're traveling through Italy.

We stayed at the Hotel Löwen over the weekend and were torn. Our room was furnished as described, but not at all nicely decorated. There wasn't a single picture (there are countless in the rest of the hotel!) or any other decoration, and a full-length mirror would have been nice. The bathroom with shower had no shelf, and the toilet (a separate bathroom) was right next to a glass door that had been added later. The window handle was loose, making it difficult to close. There was a construction site in the hallways, and the fire alarm system was out of service. Whether there was a working one in parallel was not clear from the hallway. The decorations in the restaurant range from Easter to Christmas, and faded plastic flowers sit in the water on the tables. All of these points are, however, made up for by the very friendly staff; from the manager to the employees, everyone is attentive and helpful. There's a great little pool with flotation devices, a slide, and comfortable loungers. The playground is also well-equipped, with two bouncy castles, table tennis, a climbing frame, soccer goals, a trampoline, and various vehicles. There's also an indoor playground in the basement. The food is very good, and the waiting time is really short, which is important with children. The breakfast also leaves little to be desired. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is impeccable. For example, there was no mold on the silicone in the rather old bathrooms. The mattresses were very comfortable, and the sofa wasn't worn out. A treasure chest awaited the children in the room as a welcome gift, containing a sweet little story, a keychain, and some sweets. In conclusion, a great hotel for families with a few shortcomings that could still be addressed.

At short notice, the three of us (two adults and one toddler) were able to get a double room here. The reception was super friendly, the room was clean, and it was a paradise for children. A playground, a car park, and an indoor playroom were also available. There's also a restaurant, which was okay—the food was relatively rustic but had a good selection. We were very satisfied.

We spent 4 nights at the Löwen Family Hotel with our 4-year-old son. Our experience: We liked: We didn't have a renovated room, but we still felt comfortable. The room was very clean and had a terrace. It's a true paradise for our little guests. The outdoor playground is absolutely fantastic; the trampoline and the giant bouncy castle were very popular. The swimming pool was also very popular. There's an indoor playground in the basement, which was really great. The breakfast buffet had something for every taste. There was scrambled eggs, breakfast eggs and bacon, jams, rolls, (real) Nutella, muesli, yogurt, fruit salad, fresh fruit, and much more. The service staff was also super attentive and very friendly. The food in the restaurant was also delicious. The lady at the reception immediately brought us a fall protection mat when I mentioned that the night had been a bit restless. That was great. Where we see room for improvement: Unfortunately, I didn't sleep so well because the curtains let in a lot of light in the morning. Wider, more opaque curtains would have been great. The beds had mattresses of different heights. Luckily, I had the firmer one, but my husband had back pain from the soft mattress. At the breakfast buffet, I would have appreciated some signage at the buffet cart. It wasn't clear whether it was cream cheese or yogurt, or what type of yogurt it was. I also thought it was a shame that we didn't get a set table for breakfast, as we didn't go there until around 9 a.m. A small refrigerator in the room would have been great for chilling snacks and drinks. Given the current temperatures, we would have been very happy about that. All in all, it was a great stay, and our son had a lot of fun :)

Wonderful family holiday spent at the Hotel Löwen.

We were there for the first time last night. The reception was a bit sober. Then we got to the room and there were only two beds prepared instead of the four we had booked. This mistake was rectified immediately. The pool was functional, but in terms of cleanliness, you should also look under the benches. It was really dirty there. The rooms themselves had everything you need. There was just carpeting everywhere, in the hallway and in the room, which is really hard to bear for allergy sufferers. The restaurant was clean, but they apparently didn't pass on our reservation, which wasn't a big deal, as there were plenty of spaces. The service there was unfortunately very sterile, and there wasn't a particularly Bavarian atmosphere. The food and drinks were good, and the price/performance ratio was good. The breakfast was OK. Lots of bread rolls to choose from, but the rest was functional and sufficient. We didn't even hear a "good morning" from the staff there. Check-out was very monosyllabic. Hello, 6.20 tourist tax, goodbye. That's it. Okay for one night, but I wouldn't want it for a week.

We stayed at the hotel as a family with our dog. It was a great location. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. It was an absolute children's paradise with a heated indoor pool. The outdoor area was very nice and left nothing to be desired, with a really nice playground and trampoline. There were goats and rabbits running around. A great breakfast. Very good food. Keep it up! Everything was top notch. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to the next time.

For us, it was a great hotel. We were there as a family with two teenagers. There's a simple indoor pool where our children could have fun and swim. Overall, the hotel is geared toward young children. There's a ping-pong table outside for older children, and a foosball table inside as well. The beer garden and restaurant are also great. While the kids are entertained, parents can enjoy a drink, although I think it's only open all day on public holidays.

We were looking forward to a relaxing stay with our small child, but were unfortunately disappointed. Although the hotel is described as family-friendly, we missed some things you'd expect, especially with small children. There was neither a refrigerator nor a kettle in the room – both of which would have been very helpful in summer temperatures of over 30°C, for example, for cooling drinks or baby food or preparing water for bottles. Even though we hadn't explicitly asked for it beforehand, such basic amenities should be standard in a family hotel. It was also problematic that there was no hot water available for one night/evening and half the following day. In the heat, we couldn't give our children a proper shower – especially when they're completely covered in sunscreen, which is more than annoying. No discount was offered upon request. On the positive side, the beautiful and quiet location is worth highlighting; many excursion destinations are within walking distance. There's more than enough space for older children to play both inside and outside, and there are lounge chairs available for parents to relax. Overall, however, we weren't impressed with our stay. For a hotel explicitly aimed at families, it lacks basic amenities and reliability. We wouldn't book again with small children.

We stayed at the hotel with friends for one night. It was fantastic. The staff was amazing, and the service was outstanding. The food was delicious, and the portions were more than adequate. The rooms were beautifully furnished and very tidy and clean. It was an all-around fantastic stay. We'll definitely be back.

A very nice, clean hotel. Our room, the games room, and the playground with a race track were great. The pool area is okay. It's just missing a toddler pool, as children don't have a place to stand in the pool. The restaurant is good. There's a great selection of food, even for children, and you get food and drinks very quickly. Some of the food, however, is nothing special. The afternoon cake, for example, tasted like frozen food. Backpacks were available to borrow free of charge from the hotel, and the location is great. What we really missed was the warmth of the staff and managers. Whether upon arrival or otherwise. There was no good morning, nothing was shown to us in the hotel, nothing was explained, and not a single friendly word was spoken to the children. We're certainly used to this from other family hotels. There was a surprise for the kids in their room upon arrival. A very nice idea, but it would be great if there were a little something for each child. We found it a bit cheeky to offer one lollipop for three children, with the note that more could be purchased for 0.50 cents. Conclusion: The hotel's value for money is definitely good. We will recommend it and may even return. However, in our opinion, the service and friendliness still need to be improved.

A lovely family hotel, everything was very clean, the food was excellent, and the service was very friendly. Our boys loved the new indoor play area and especially the soccer room. We'd love to come back.

We ate there a week ago. We've never had such a bad schnitzel anywhere. It was a very thin, flat piece (I suspect it was pressed meat), barely seasoned, and deep-fried. My fish was dry, the vegetables were very soft (frozen) without salt or a hint of butter, and the rice, like the entire meal, was almost cold. The hollandaise sauce was from a tetra pack. It was busy because of communion, but for those prices, I would have preferred to eat somewhere else. We definitely won't be back.

Super family hotel with super price-performance ratio

The price is right on the price-performance threshold. The hotel is really good. The playground, the swimming pool, the sauna, and the games room are definitely positives! Great for children. The rooms are also good. Not ultra-modern, but everything is clean and "comfortable." The food was good, but nothing special. It's fine for one evening, but then it's worth trying something else. What leaves something to be desired is the service at dinner. Quite unfriendly and easily irritating. Overall, unprofessional. In summary: If you're a bit price-conscious, I recommend this hotel. Try the food and then decide for yourself. I probably wouldn't go to the restaurant for dinner again.

Unfortunately, we expected more for the price. Old rooms with equally old carpeting, bathrooms in need of renovation, and unfortunately, no refrigerator. The room couldn't be properly darkened because there were no blinds, which wasn't ideal for our two children. The pool is far too cold and deep, and there's no toddler area. The lights in the playroom simply go out when the children are playing in the "cave" (the motion detector was incorrectly placed). Our children got scared and ran to us crying. The restaurant manager is rude; "the customer is always right" isn't a given here. The hotel is very centrally located as a starting point for excursions.

A beautiful hotel in itself with a lot of potential. A very nice playground and playroom, especially for small children. Our rooms (as a family/group, we had a total of three) were all unrenovated and dated. The rooms were also not well-designed. For example, there are no reading lights by the children's beds, so they are either completely bright or completely dark... Very awkward. The animals... Well, the pony is no longer there. The rabbits and goats can be looked at, but not in their enclosures or petted. The website and the pictures in the hotel (children petting the rabbits) suggest otherwise. It gets very crowded at breakfast, and there are sometimes long lines at the coffee machine during rush hour. Otherwise, everyone will find something to eat. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the atmosphere created by the lady with the square glasses is negative. She is not very friendly towards guests and hisses at the employees, so that you almost feel ashamed to be a guest there.

Unfortunately, the website and online only show the renovated bathrooms and rooms. The hotel gives the impression of being completely renovated. The photos of the breakfast room are very nice, but unfortunately, breakfast is served in the restaurant. I would have liked more options for the little ones. For example, melon or banana. The children's menu is great. The restaurant manager is very unfriendly. All other staff members are very friendly.

Not everything that is called a family hotel is also family-friendly The hotel really has a lot of potential for families - if it weren't for the extremely unfriendly owner, who also acts as the restaurant manager. Unfortunately, their behavior towards us was consistently malicious and aggressive. After a clarifying conversation on our part, we were even ignored by the staff on the owner's instructions and not served any further. No more drinks, no service. This is absolutely unacceptable for a hotel in this price range (€200 per night). Our room was in a very outdated condition: the shower was old, the tiles were peeling off, and the room could hardly be darkened. There was no kettle or refrigerator - especially important for families with babies. Cooling breast milk or preparing milk powder? None. The children's pool was so cold that it was a miracle that it wasn't frozen over. The indoor play area has motion detectors that control the lights - which meant that our children (under 5 years old) suddenly found themselves in the dark and became afraid. Conclusion: In the end, we were just happy when the vacation was over. Very disappointing - a family hotel should look different.

A nice hotel, I think it's really good for families. Personally, I find the rooms a bit small, but that's because we don't have children and are used to large rooms. But we visited our children there, but I definitely recommend the hotel. We all felt very comfortable.

We were only in the restaurant, but the service was super friendly and quick. They carry out all requests very quickly. We were all very happy with the food!! Definitely coming back!!

Perfect for families with children, we stayed here with two families of children aged 2-5.

Very spacious room, clean and good maintenance. Not modern but absolutely Bavarian style warm and welcoming. Indoor Spielplatz is bit small but good enough for children to release energy. Indoor pool is awesome. Environment is just beautiful and good location. Very relaxing and family friendly hotel.

We love the hotel and it is perfectly located for many excursion destinations. The restaurant is super tasty and not too expensive, so you don't have to look for alternatives. I would just like a selection of not so powerful dishes. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. It's a dream for children and therefore also super relaxing as a mother.

Perfect for a family vacation. Our kids loved the playground, the indoor pool and the animals. The whole staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was great. I was particularly impressed by the sustainability that is practiced here. Price performance top!!! We'll be back :)

We were there for 4 nights and were extremely satisfied!! The owners are very friendly and accommodating, respond to our wishes and also asked us whether everything was right and whether we were satisfied. The rooms are clean and everything is so great for children. Even in bad weather we weren't bored :) we will definitely check in there again when we go on holiday in the Allgäu :)

Great welcome! The entire staff was very friendly, the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was delicious. There's a lot on offer for the price. The highlight was the playground, pool, play area and the sauna. A great family hotel. Will definitely come back. I'm so thrilled!

We had a wonderful 5 nights with our 3-year-old child and our dog. The hotel was very dog-friendly, and they even allowed us to bring them into the restaurant. The staff quickly accepted and accommodated all of our special requests (e.g., a room change to a renovated family studio and a late checkout). The staff were also relaxed with the kids at breakfast and not strict when we sat a little longer. The indoor pool (nice and warm, great for our little one) is older, but it was great because we had a lot of rain, and the showers there have already been modernized. The older sauna is small, but at least they have both. I don't take that for granted with a 3-star hotel. The outdoor area is also very varied for small children; the kids' car park is a bonus, a cool idea! The playroom was also very practical, as it was still really cold outside in the evening. This is a great option for families who don't insist on "everything being completely renovated," which isn't something every hotel can be all year round. We had two delicious dinners in the restaurant and were very satisfied. We thought the prices were fair. The server was very good and quick and dealt with the toddlers' quirks very well. :-) Suggestions for improvement: Room: A few compartments in the closet niche in the children's room, a few more coat hooks in the bathroom and hallway, and a small bar fridge would be great. Breakfast: Peppers, radishes, or something similar for a change, sometimes fried eggs instead of scrambled. That would spice things up even more.

Unfortunately we didn't like the hotel that much. The following points are crucial for this: -Not much choice at breakfast. The dinner in the restaurant was also just mediocre. Not freshly prepared. -Friendliness of the receptionists was totally fake. Rather annoyed when you need something -No lobby or nice lounge. -Rooms very noisy

We had such a great time at this family hotel! We had the hot tub room that had a large king size bed and a bunk bed for our kids - ages 6 and 8. They had a lot of fun all over the hotel, from the pool to the downstairs climbing play gym to the playground and goats. The breakfast spread was wonderful and had something for all preferences and picky eaters. It was very quiet and peaceful with an amazing view of the mountains. We wish we could have stayed longer! !

A small, intimate, and, above all, affordable family hotel. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and very concerned about cleanliness. The hotel is perfect for preschool children. It features a lovely outdoor playground, a beautifully furnished playroom, and animals such as ducks, rabbits, and goats.

There are beautiful play facilities for children in the hotel and outside.

We had a great two-night short break. The room was as booked and very clean. The pool water was a lovely 31-32 degrees Celsius, there were sun loungers, and new, clean showers with shampoo. We also used the sauna, and the relaxation area is nicely designed. Pool towels are available for a deposit, and bathrobes are available for a fee. We enjoyed both breakfast and the dinner (for a fee). For breakfast, we had delicious pancakes. These would be great for children every day on vacation. They even served filter coffee for breakfast, which we prefer to the coffee machine and were very happy about. Unfortunately, this isn't available from the menu in the afternoon. We must especially praise the very fast and friendly service! Children up to 10 years old can have fun in the new playroom, but it's more geared towards younger children. There's also a large common room with tables and chairs. This could be made a bit more inviting, but it definitely serves its purpose! The fleet of pedal vehicles needs a technical overhaul. The hotel is constantly evolving, which is evident everywhere. The Wi-Fi worked everywhere. We felt very comfortable, especially thanks to the very friendly staff at reception, the restaurant, and the cleaning staff. Thank you very much!

We really enjoyed staying here with our 3 years' old daughter. She loved the swimming pool with a warm temperature, the outdoor and indoor brand new playgrounds! Great price-quality ratio compared to other over-expensive family hotels where you pay for services you do not use. Maybe the restaurant meals were not over the top but there are many alternatives just few minutes away by car. Gerne wieder!

Recommended hotel for families with (small) children. We spent five nights here in a family room as a winter vacation. In ten minutes you can reach the Alpspitze valley station and in half an hour in the Tannheimer Valley. The location is ideal for us. The rooms are functionally furnished and the bathrooms have been modernly renovated. The staff is friendly and helpful. The swimming pool with a small water slide, the sauna and the great games room with an indoor playground offer enough variety even in bad weather. Breakfast offers delicious baked goods as well as a sufficient selection of egg dishes, cereals and fresh fruit. Dinner in the restaurant (a la carte) is tasty and the portions are good. The price-performance ratio is right. Overall, the concept was implemented well, we would come back at any time.
