We spontaneously visited the restaurant last Thursday.
We were immediately greeted very warmly by the owner. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were seated without any hassle.
Since we had never eaten Thai food before, we received very comprehensive advice after being asked: spicy, very spicy, mild, vegetarian or with meat, and if so, which kind.
We were provided with spices produced on their farm in Thailand for us to add to our own seasoning.
In the kitchen, the owner's wife conjured up delicious dishes that exceeded all our expectations.
In short: A highly recommended restaurant that we would be happy to visit again on our next visit to Dachau.

We spontaneously visited Ristorante Arcobaleno in Miltenberg and were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation.
The positives: Taste and speed
The culinary highlight of the evening was the food itself. The pictured baked lasagna not only looked appetizing but also tasted excellent. The extremely short wait time was particularly impressive; our dish was served in less than 20 minutes. For diners with a big appetite, this prompt service is a definite plus.
Criticisms: Service, menu, and prices
Unfortunately, there were a few things that detracted from the overall experience:
Intrusive service: It was somewhat disruptive that the waiter appeared at the table at very short intervals to ask about drinks or food orders. This prevented us from settling in and choosing from the menu at our leisure. A little more sensitivity in the timing of the service would have been appreciated.
The menu was not easy to read, as the layout, combined with the restaurant's lighting, made it difficult to decipher. This hampered the selection process and caused some stress. It would be desirable for the restaurant to make improvements here, whether through brighter table lighting or a clearer menu layout.
The price of €6.50 for a bottle of water does indeed seem high. Such markups on basic items like water can often be unpleasant for guests.
In conclusion:
Overall, I was satisfied with my visit to Arcobaleno. The quality of the food was excellent, and the preparation was very quick. Even though the portion sizes were somewhat small, the positive taste experience outweighed any minor drawbacks. The criticisms mainly concern the service concept and the additional costs.
Despite these points, I would gladly return due to the outstanding quality of the food, hoping that the menu and service procedures will be improved.
We've been coming here for years and appreciate the service, but especially the quality of the food. The daily specials always feature exciting regional interpretations. Unfortunately, our last visit was truly our last; Mundart is closing, and with it one of the last good restaurants in the Ammergau region. I hope there's light at the end of the tunnel soon.
We got take-away pizza. Very fast service and good pizza, but not exceptional. My wife would have liked more cheese on her caprese. I liked the pizza Daniele quite a bit. Especially the dough and passata were very nice. The toppings could have been a bit more refined.
A fantastic restaurant that celebrates regionality and demonstrates that regional food also tastes delicious. We were lucky to arrive at 5 p.m. and get a seat without a reservation. The restaurant was full after 60 minutes, and that was on a normal weekday. The locals seem to enjoy it too. The food is absolutely fairly priced. The service is super friendly, and you immediately feel at home there. The view of the lake is included. We'd go back anytime! Be sure to try the Kaiserschmarrn (fresh, homemade, delicious)!
Delicious food in a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. The service was very friendly and helpful, and the prices were perfectly reasonable.
We got the last tables, so you should definitely make a reservation.
The food was delicious. It’s like an Asian tapas restaurant. On the menu it says the food is delivered one by one, and the waiter confirmed that. we ordered 5 things expecting to have a break between each one. 3 arrived at once then the 2nd two. We were finished in 45 minutes! My advice is specifically ask for the dishes to be served one by one.
Staff were lovely. The photo is of the seafood popcorn.
Be warned a bottle of water is €7:50, we nearly had a heart attack at the price but soon found out that everywhere charges that and more for it. I was told you can drink the tap water but it’s frowned upon in restaurants to ask for it.
We were visiting Bamberg and this evening, on our last night, we went to "Little Greek." We were delighted with the food. The portions were not only large but also very flavorful. Vegetarians will also find delicious options on the menu. Julia and Costas are attentive hosts.
Thank you so much for the wonderful evening!
A cozy restaurant with very good service. The food is good, even if it was a bit bland for our taste – but nothing a pinch of salt and pepper (available on the table) couldn't fix.
The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is served promptly.
The restaurant is comfortably furnished; only the music (especially the bass) is a bit too loud.
Outstanding service and exceptional cuisine truly a memorable dining experience. Every course was beautifully crafted and full of flavor, and the staff made us feel warmly welcomed throughout the evening.
The food was truly excellent – fresh, high-quality, and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and friendly. A place I would gladly recommend! ❤️
Unfortunately, it's not what it would like to be on the outside.
After a termination, the decency to properly complete the contract is unfortunately not shown.
They simply keep the employee's compensation for themselves and send them a message telling them to consult a lawyer.
That's simply not decent and unworthy of a restaurant with a star.
Especially when there's no reason not to properly complete the contract.
That's absolutely not how you treat your employees these days.
The industry is fighting for survival... HERE'S the reason why people no longer enjoy working in the restaurant industry.
It's sad.
That's a real shame.
Unfortunately, not everything that glitters is gold.
Addendum
Instead of payment, I now receive a threatening email from a lawyer at Dehoga.
I'm not allowed to tell the truth because they're reporting me....
Instead of paying the outstanding wages, they resorted to claiming the employee had worked negative hours on their own responsibility and REFUSED to work...
Excuse me???
He was frequently SENT home early... it was also noted that the hours wouldn't add up that way (original quote: That will change). No one ever just went home... why would they?
It's also funny what is being interpreted as REFUSAL TO WORK... it was a 14-hour double shift, which the employee interrupted with a break because he has DOGS at home that he has to walk.
This break during long shifts was a hiring criterion...
I don't think it's necessary to specifically point out that shifts of more than 10 hours are highly illegal.
After he returned from walking the dog, the notice of termination was already on the table... with the boss requesting that he leave IMMEDIATELY. The reason should be clear by now... They didn't want to pay him anymore. The employee stayed and was willing to fulfill his contract until its expiration.
Then they decided to resort to mobbing. A highly trained service worker from a Michelin-starred restaurant was only allowed to clean refrigerators, polish cutlery, and clean tables. The tone of the conversation became disrespectful and insulting.
When the employee actually got sick, because rummaging through the trash wasn't part of his job, and he caught a stomach virus, he discovered that he simply hadn't been registered for health insurance.
The employee informed the employer of this, and the response was: we'll just deduct it from your salary... What?
The employee needed a doctor. Now they're saying the employee simply didn't report his health insurance, which is nonsense. ... Supposedly, they tried to register him with the AOK and it was HIS own fault.
When asked, the AOK also knew nothing about any registration attempt, and his health insurance is still chosen by the employee, NOT the employer.
The employee simply wants the salary he is entitled to and nothing else.
The employee's wife won't allow herself to be threatened, which is what they've now resorted to and allegedly reported me.
I'm going to publish all of this because this story is a huge lie...
The fact that an employee's tips are still being taken away today and never see them again because superiors see themselves in the position to play with other people's livelihoods is telling.
Or to assume you only have to pay what you want.
Or that bullying is okay.
Or that not registering for health and social insurance is obsolete, and then threatening to report them instead of fulfilling your obligations is the worst thing we've ever experienced.
And if I'm punished for telling the truth, then so be it.
