Sehr freundliche Bedienungen. Qualitativ sehr gute Speisen, ansprechend angerichtet. Bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen war es im Kellergewölbe angenehm kühl.

Draußen auf einer schrägen Terrasse zu essen ist kein Vergnügen. Das Essen selbst ist jedoch hervorragend.

Das Steak war gut, die Beilagen auch. Allerdings etwas zu ölig und zu salzig.

Selten so einen guten Burger gegessen! Man merkt, da ist alles selbst gemacht. Das erlebt man leider immer seltener. Dafür aber hier umso stärker absoluter Geheimtipp! Die Wirtsleute sind sehr kundenorientiert und versuchen einem alles Recht zu machen. Wir hatten sogar das Glück, dass wir direkt von der Küche beraten wurden. Mal ganz ehrlich in welchem Restaurant kommt der Koch auf die Idee höchstpersönlich zum Gast zu kommen, um mir die andere Burgersauce zu zeigen, wie sie schmeckt?! Ich habe nur nachgefragt, was der Unterschied zwischen zwei Mahlzeiten ist. Hier wird mit Liebe gekocht, alles selbst gemacht und das schmeckt man. Das Essen sieht genauso aus wie auf den Fotos. Man wird schnell bedient. Und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich gut! Über die Location kann man streiten, es handelt sich um einen historischen Keller, das ist etwas Geschmackssache sieht man auch in den anderen Bewertungen, aber es ist wirklich schön gemacht. Es ist nichts zu kitschig. Es ist alles ordentlich und nicht alles voll mit Deko voll geklatscht. Ich muss echt noch mal sagen Respekt! Die Qualität ist wirklich außergewöhnlich! Wir werden garantiert öfter kommen.

Also, normalerweise gebe ich nie volle 5 Sterne, weil es normalerweise immer irgendwie was zu bemängeln gibt. Aber hier, ist alles die 5 Sterne wehrt. Ich bin immer wieder von den Gerichten verzaubert und da die Karte immer ein bisschen unterschiedlich ist, kann man sich immer wieder aufs Neue verzaubern lassen. Ganz großes Lob an die Küche. Das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis ist daher super und das personal ist auch immer sehr nett. Ich bin rund um zufrieden und komm deswegen immer wieder gern.

Waren heute im Höllbräukeller beim Essen und wir können es nur weiterempfehlen!Hatten verschiedene Gerichte und es schmeckte einfach alles fantastisch, wir sind einfach begeistert.Wir werden ihn deshalb auch öfters besuchen.Das gesamte Team ist sehr nett und freundlich.

Das Essen ist sehr gut, und bei der vielfältigen Auswahl ist für jede Altersgruppe etwas dabei. Der Service ist ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das angenehm und ausergewöhnlich gestaltete Ambiente, das den Besuch sehr angenehm macht. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen definitiv wieder!

Absolute Empfehlung! Wir sind heute zufällig im Höllbräukeller gelandet und sind absolut begeistert. Hier wird mit großer Leidenschaft gekocht. Alles was möglich ist wird regional bezogen und selbst hergestellt mit Liebe zum Detail. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr aufmerksam und der Chef hat sich auch noch Zeit genommen und uns einiges erklärt und erläutert. Wenn man etwas besonderes sucht mit einem guten Preis - Leistungs Verhältnis, dann ist man im Höllbräukeller absolut richtig. Danke für dieses tolle Geschmackserlebnis.

Feines Geburtstagsmenü. Bayerische Küche, als Hauptspeise Filet vom Zander mit krossen Kartoffeln, Ratatouille und 3 Liter provencalischen Rosewein. Allen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Als krönenden Abschluss gab es "Zimtbainsle" wie früher bei Oma!

Meine Freundin und ich probieren immer wieder gerne neue, schöne Lokale aus. Über den Höllbräukeller hatten wir im Vorfeld bereits viel Positives gelesen, weshalb wir uns entschieden haben, einen Tisch zu reservieren. Schon ab dem Moment der Reservierung waren wir begeistert: Der Chef selbst meldete sich sehr freundlich bei uns und fragte nach unseren Vorlieben und eventuellen Wünschen. Einen derart aufmerksamen und persönlichen Service haben wir in dieser Form bisher tatsächlich noch nie erlebt. Vor Ort setzte sich dieser hervorragende Eindruck nahtlos fort. Das Essen war schlichtweg ausgezeichnet – von den Hauptspeisen über die Beilagen bis hin zum Dessert. Die Auswahl ist durchdacht, qualitativ hochwertig und geschmacklich auf sehr hohem Niveau. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass bei den Speisen und auch bei den Getränken detailliert auf die Zutaten hingewiesen wurde: Herkunft, regionaler Umkreis, Produzenten, Bauern – alles transparent und mit spürbarer Leidenschaft vermittelt. Selbst einfache Getränke waren liebevoll dekoriert und geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt. Man merkt hier sofort, dass mit sehr viel Sorgfalt, Liebe zum Detail und echtem Qualitätsbewusstsein gearbeitet wird. Auch das Ambiente des Lokals sowie das gesamte Team verdienen ein großes Lob: freundlich, höflich, aufmerksam und jederzeit präsent, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Man fühlt sich als Gast wirklich willkommen und wertgeschätzt. Für uns steht fest: Wir werden definitiv öfter vorbeikommen und freuen uns schon jetzt auf weitere Besuche bei Michael und seinem großartigen Team. On a friend's recommendation, we dined here this evening and felt very comfortable. Our friend pre-ordered a steak menu for us. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. Dessert was lovely, though a bit heavy after three different, delectable meat dishes. The chef also took the time to explain the special cuts of meat and how they were prepared. Clearly, someone cooks with great passion and heart! The entrance area doesn't do the restaurant justice. Inside, you'll find exceptional dishes, friendly service, and outstanding quality.

We were absolutely thrilled with our visit to this Bavarian restaurant in Eichstätt! The food was incredibly delicious – freshly prepared, cooked with love, and typically Bavarian, just as you'd expect. The atmosphere was relaxed, cozy, and homey – you immediately feel welcome. What was particularly impressive was that the owner does everything himself: He cooked, served, and still took time for a pleasant conversation. This warmth and passion can be felt in every detail. A true treasure in Eichstätt!

We ate here after a hike and were absolutely thrilled! The food was incredibly delicious, the portions generous, and we were both completely full – despite being very hungry after a long day. The staff and the chef were very friendly; we especially appreciated that the chef personally asked us how we liked our meal. The atmosphere in the old cellar vault is quaint and cozy, and thanks to the soundproofing panels, the noise level remains pleasant. Highly recommended!

We can only agree with the reviews of other guests. Here, you'll find exceptional dishes made with our own recipes and with great attention to detail. The setting and service are also first-class. The chef even came to our table to ask if everything was okay. All in all, one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. There's sure to be something for everyone here. We'll definitely be back!

The food was okay, but nothing special. The pork steak was just two grilled schnitzels, the cabbage was delicious, and there were plenty of (reheated) potato wedges. The two dollops of whipped cream were unnecessary in my opinion. The price was too high. The cheese spaetzle was good. The service was mixed: the young lady at the beginning was very friendly, but the waiter afterward seemed grumpy. We sat outside because of the nice weather; it was quite noisy due to the traffic.

We booked catering from Höllbräu Keller for a birthday party. The food was outstanding. Even the burger buns were homemade. And the chef has a very talented hand with spices. The taste was exceptional and very good! (I can't comment on the atmosphere since we only booked the catering.)

On this year's bike tour along the Altmühl Valley Cycle Path, it was clear to us from the start: a stop at "Zum Höllbräukeller" was a must. Two years ago, we visited the restaurant for the first time – and even then, we were completely enthralled. The memories of the creative cuisine, the warm service, and the special atmosphere have stayed with us ever since. This year, we wanted to experience exactly that again – and our hopes were beautifully confirmed. The dishes are a true feast for the palate: imaginatively composed, with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. You can tell that the food here isn't just cooked, but celebrated with passion. Every plate tells its own little story – and we enjoyed reading it. The service was just as warm and attentive as the first time. It almost feels like visiting good friends who also happen to be excellent cooks. For us, the Höllbräukeller has long been more than just a restaurant – it has become an integral part of our tour. A place where you feel comfortable, enjoy yourself, and enjoy spending time. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

We were a little disappointed. The atmosphere and service were very friendly and attentive. We were only able to get a seat in the beer garden, even though everything inside was free. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I wouldn't go there again, but that's a matter of taste.

The entrance from the street could easily be overlooked, which is a shame, because as soon as you descend the stairs into the brewery cellar, an unexpectedly magnificent dining room opens up, first the drinks counter and beyond it the vaulted ceiling of the extremely cozy dining room. We spent a wonderful evening here with remarkably friendly service and top-notch food.

Absolutely deserved 5* for service, friendliness, taste, cleanliness, and ambiance. We arrived here spontaneously and were warmly welcomed. Since my husband and I are trying to eat more vegan dishes and there was nothing on the menu, the chef came over and served us a vegan curry risotto and a vegetable soup. It was exceptionally delicious. The children were also very happy with their meal. I would go to the cooking school here, and the chef gave me a few tips. We would gladly come back.

We had a lovely family celebration there. There was live music (it was a special day because of the town festival), good food, and delicious drinks. The service was polite, although it took a while at times. But it was a busy day, and the food made up for it.

We were there as a family of 15. We had reservations and pre-ordered most of the food, which should have made things easier. Unfortunately, we still had some cancellations, and some people arrived much too late, which naturally led to unplanned changes and stress, especially since there was also a large party there and the restaurant was therefore busy. Nevertheless, the team rocked the situation. The food was delicious, the portions were plentiful, and the staff, despite the heat (30°C+) and full tables, were very prompt, up to the task, and always friendly and helpful. So, if you're hungry, enjoy delicious, high-quality food, and appreciate service, I think you're in the right place. You can sit outside or make yourself comfortable inside in the "cellar." It's been proven time and time again! The most inconspicuous shops are the best! The staff was super friendly, the food was incredibly delicious! A culinary paradise! My husband and I visited the Zum Höllbräukeller restaurant for lunch today, and I have to say, it was an absolute highlight! The restaurant is worth a visit not only for its excellent cuisine, but also for its very friendly owner and staff. The dishes were all perfectly prepared and tasted simply heavenly. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was modern and inviting. I highly recommend "Zum Höllbräukeller." Wir haben spontan am selben Tag noch einen Tisch bekommen, das hat uns sehr gefreut. Leider war der Tisch etwas ungünstig gelegen, direkt vor der Küche - es war dort ziemlich laut direkt im Gang. Dennoch haben wir unseren Aufenthalt genossen und fanden es auch toll, wie uns der Küchenchef gegrüßt und angesprochen hat. Der Kaiserschmarrn war für uns das Highlight des Abends. ♥ Wir kommen gerne wieder. :-)

Bei einem WE-Kurztrip als Paar vorbeigeschaut. Toller Empfang, auch ohne Reservierung einen kleinen Tisch bekommen. Service schnell. Nicht zu viele Gerichte auf der Karte. Im Spargel-Menü meiner Frau war ein 0,25l Wasser enthalten (hat mich verwundert). Tolle regionale Produkte mit Herkunftsbezeichnung verwendet. Mein Schnitzel mit Pommes war genauso lecker wie das vegetarische Gericht. Perfekter Espresso zum Dessert aus dem Siebträger.

In the Höllbräukeller you can sit back and relax in the rustic ambience and indulge in culinary delights. From the starter to the main courses to the dessert, we tried our way through the menu and were not disappointed. The products are regional, prepared with love and finesse and incredibly tasty - the boss himself is available to answer questions. Especially more special delicacies such as lamb cheeks, lamb tongue, beef diaphragm and much more. Here you get fresh from the region and super tasty on your plate. The vegetarian dishes can also be recommended. Burger buns, side dishes such as the famous potato donuts, wild garlic mayo and even ice cream are all homemade here. Therefore the price/performance is absolutely okay and justified. (Our dog also felt very comfortable). I can only recommend everyone to feast their way through the menu and perhaps try a dish outside of their comfort zone - it's worth it!

An absolutely great cook and host, have never had a bad experience and eat at the regulars' table at the Höllbräukeller every week.

We had a great evening with a very attentive host who was happy to accommodate our (special) requests. From the small table opposite the kitchen, we experienced in real time how our order was being prepared... as a guest you are right in the middle of it instead of outside: that's what I call experiential gastronomy! And I can only rave about the food, whether it's the flank steak cooked to perfection or the traditional cuisine like the Saure Lüngerl with fried napkin dumplings - where can you get something like that😋... and finally the parfait with some unusual flavors: it's good to dream! If you're looking for a slightly different, special gastronomy in Eichstätt, you can't miss the Höllbräukeller 👍

A very warm welcome. The vaulted cellar, with its rustic and cozy decor, is a pleasant place to linger. The dishes, prepared with love and regional ingredients, are truly delicious.
