Das Lokal ist wunderschön und das Essen schmeckt hervorragend und die Preis Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall.

Echtes Wirtshaus wie es sein soll – frische bayerische Küche und super lecker. Was mich besonders begeistert hat, ist die kleine Bühne mit Kleinkunst, das macht den Besuch zu was ganz Besonderem. Komme gerne wieder und kann es nur weiterempfehlen!

Absolut gelungener Abend im Zum Gutmann! Die bayerische Küche mit frischen, saisonalen Zutaten war richtig lecker und hat geschmeckt wie selbstgemacht. Das Besondere: die angeschlossene Kleinkunstbühne hat dem ganzen Abend noch das i-Tüpfelchen aufgesetzt. Sehr gerne wieder!

Sehr gemütlich, ein Wirt aus Überzeugung, ebensogut die Küche, tolle Speisekarte, herzlich, freundlich und engagiert. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Große Portion, schmeckt wie bei Muttern. Kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Ein wirklich schönes Gebäude in dem man sich ein gutes Stück in die Vergangenheit zurück versetzt fühlt. Der Service war gut, das Essen überwiegend auch. Teilweise schwanken die Portionsgrößen und der Geschmack zwischen den verschiedenen Gerichten aber überraschend stark. Das Bier kann man dafür vorbehaltlos empfehlen.

Wir waren für einen Kurztrip in der Gegend und sind durch Zufall hier gelandet. Endlich mal wieder ein richtiges, uriges Wirtshaus! Das Ambiente ist wirklich toll – traditionell, aber mit viel Geschmack. Besonders die Kombination aus gutem bayerischem Essen (die Würste und das Schäufele sind top!) und dem Kulturangebot hat uns beeindruckt. Der Service war trotz der Veranstaltung flott und sehr herzlich. Wir kommen beim nächsten Besuch in der Stadt definitiv wieder vorbei!

Nettes Ambiente. Gutes Essen. Guter Service. Hier kann man auch als große Gruppe mit ausreichend Vorlauf reservieren. Preise okay - nicht günstig aber es entspricht der Qualität. Wer es deftig mag, wird hier fündig.

Bedienung und Essen war mega. Leider kleine Portion daher 1 Stern weniger. Aber für normale Esser absolut in Ordnung.

Gaststätte ist vom Ambiente sehr schön und urig. :-) Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. KANN MAN NUR WEITEREMPFEHLEN.

This German restaurant deserves 5 out of 5. The food was outstanding, with sausages that were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The beer was exceptional, easily among the best I’ve had, making the whole experience memorable.

The food was truly delicious, the service was super friendly. The portions were generous, and the price was perfectly reasonable. The rooms are large and have a gloomy feel, and the restrooms are awkwardly located—but everything was still very suitable for groups or business lunches. My main course was delicious, but the potato and cucumber salad wasn't my cup of tea.

We thoroughly enjoyed this evening. Sometimes it took a little longer, but our charming waiter always offered a heartfelt apology. The kitchen and service staff were also busy due to an event. My shoulder of pork had a thin crust, but overall it tasted quite good. The coleslaw was very successful. I'm always happy when chefs add a generous amount of caraway. All the other dishes at the table were impressive. Overall, a lovely evening. We'll be back!

Hello, we were on the Franconian cycle path on Easter Sunday and ended up at Zum Gutmann. That was once again great luck. Food top. The price-performance ratio is perfect. Thanks for the Scheufele.

The restaurant is in an old, beautiful building. There is also a stage for cabaret performances. When the weather is good you can also sit outside.

Unfortunately it wasn't my cup of tea, long waiting time, food (roast lamb with fried potatoes made from old black potatoes. There were no seats or parking spaces either. It's a shame.

Great Bavarian restaurant in an old, region specific, traditional house (Jurahaus) which makes for great atmosphere! Good, hearty, traditional Bavarian meals, deliciously made. The beer is from the family brewery. The personnel is friendly and attentive (in a German way, just to let our American friends not expect too much).

We were lucky enough to spontaneously get a place for three people after a short hike. The Zum Gutmann is a classic Bavarian tavern with a modern, slightly alternative touch. The service was incredibly accommodating and the food was fantastic. If you're in the Eichstätt area, you shouldn't miss Zum Gutmann.

The Gutmann is a really old inn as you would imagine. I was disappointed with the food. The pork fillet was completely dry, hardly any sauce, a few mushrooms, the spaetzle was quite okay, but the whole thing was only lukewarm, rather cold. Too bad

Very nice atmosphere, friendly and courteous staff, clean toilets. The drinks came to the table very quickly, the dishes were large and beautifully presented, and very fresh and tasty. During the entire stay we always had the feeling of being welcome. There are small dishes for the children, and vegetarian dishes are also available and taste very good.

We were there for an event, which meant it was very full, but still great food was served. The ambience is unique!

We've been there for dinner several times and have been thrilled every time. Our dogs were also welcome guests in the beer garden and were provided with water. There was a high chair for our child. We will be happy to come back!

The ambience is unbeatable, very cozy. There is the best regional beer from the Gutmann brewery, as well as very good tasting Bavarian delicacies!

Outstanding location with increased potential to swamp

As a meal, I recommend the "three types of bratwursts", a classic bratwurst, a smoked bratwurst and two lamb bratwursts. With sauerkraut and fried potatoes, this portion will fill you up well.

Good, better Gutmann! I came spontaneously and got a place straight away. The waitresses were very on point and very friendly. I hardly had any waiting times for drinks and food. The crust scoop was a force. Gladly again!

We were able to celebrate our wedding at gutmann at the beginning of August. The preliminary meeting with the managing director went completely smoothly and all of our wishes were heard and implemented. The day itself also went smoothly. The conditions were very, very friendly, the process went as planned and the food was very good. With over 80 guests, the food came quickly so we could all eat together. The location itself is also quaint, cozy and very beautiful. As a bride and groom, we were very satisfied with the entire day and only received very positive feedback from our guests.

We went there based on a recommendation, top-rated on Tripadvisor. The ambience wasn't that good and especially only big tables. We moved on early with the second best rated. Neither the ambience outside nor the menu convinced us. Zum Gutmann, on the other hand, scored points in every respect. The food, ambience and service were convincing. In the end it was a serious disappointment. Three € extra charge for fried potatoes instead of spaetzle as a side dish. Definitely not appropriate.

Nice beer garden and interior. Excellent menu with a large selection, the best wheat far and wide. Price/performance and quality match. The staff is more than friendly and accommodating. For me the first address in Eichstätt. Always very, very happy.

Not the best Schnitzel in town but the service is good and friendly. There's no salt and pepper on the table.

The Gutmann particularly stands out for its traditional cuisine, which tastes excellent. The waitresses are very attentive and polite and take orders promptly. Guests are regularly asked about their well-being without being intrusive. This is particularly true of the rather tall waiter who served us this evening. Especially in the evening sun, a wonderful ambience is created under the rubies, which invite you to stay seated. The chanterelle soup is AWESOME!

A little away from all the tourists. Here you can still get rays of sunshine on the outdoor terrace until the afternoon. The food is fabulous: the potato salad is homemade, the dumplings are grated ourselves, beer sauce was tasty. The Munich schnitzel with horseradish crust is also highly recommended.

A traditional restaurant, lovingly restored, very tidy and well maintained I went there for lunch with a friend at half past twelve on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024. I didn't make a reservation and we were lucky to get two more seats. There were a number of guests there and the remaining tables were reserved. We once ordered schnitzel with fries, homemade vegetable patties with herb quark and salad garnish, a dark wheat, a wine spritzer and paid 41.50 euros for it. It was appetizingly prepared and tasted very good. One more vegetable planter would have been good. It should be emphasized that there is a good selection of delicious vegetarian dishes that you can also order vegan. The service staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Gutmann was a nice restaurant in Eichstätt and they are really friendly if you have locals with you. The evening went really well with the non-alcoholic beer from Gutmann and I was able to treat myself to a second one, yummy! The vegetarian selection in the restaurant is a bit small but if you're hungry you'll find something.

Went there for the first time on Rose Monday... Never had such a good steak! Received exactly as requested. Since I don't know much about steaks...I wished that the meat wasn't medium fried and not dead...juicy yet tender with a hint of a juicy core..!! And that's exactly how I got it... wow... the place was full (carnival!) I was thrilled. Food was at the table quickly... Service was impeccably friendly, quick and very polite. Again any time!

Enjoy your meal. Beautiful, rustic inn with a cabaret stage. For events with a limited choice of food, which is still very extensive.

This was our third visit there, and we were a little surprised to find only one table occupied by an elderly couple while on previous visits almost all tables were taken and it took us a while to get seated. On this occasion, a number of menu items were not available, and what we ordered took almost 25 minutes to be delivered. Something was off, although we couldn't really put our finger on what it was, other than an indifferent service standard to before. Maybe a new owner or management? We won't rush back in a hurry, that's for sure.

Uriges Gasthaus. Gutes Bier. Saugoldige Bedienungen (w/m). Unser Schäuferl konnten wir nicht mal mit dem Messer schneiden. Das mögen wir anders. Der Koch war definitiv nicht verliebt, eher das Gegenteil. Die Bratkartoffeln erinnerten uns an etwas altes Bratfett. Die Saucen waren nicht alle gleich, aber alle hätten nach unserem Geschmack wenigstens etwas Salz vertragen können. Uns haben die Saucen eher bitter geschmeckt. Manchmal geht was schief, aber wenn's beim ersten Mal schon nicht schmeckt kommt man nicht mehr. Schade.
