VI-2025: still top-notch 🙏 // III-2024: our alternative brunch👌 😎😎😎 - also, as expected, perfect 👌// A fine inn, both inside and out. With friendly and fast service, a very good chef, and beautiful interiors. A perfect cordon bleu, followed by an equally perfect Kaiserschmarren 👌 Perfect, absolutely!
We celebrated our wedding at the Keidenzeller Hof a month ago and are still absolutely thrilled! From the first contact to the big day, everything was just perfect. Even the preliminary coordination with Vera went brilliantly – appointments were arranged at short notice, and communication was friendly and efficient at all times. Even with the menu planning, all our wishes were taken into account – whether it was mini schnitzels for the champagne reception or customized ideas for the buffet, everything was made possible.
The day before the wedding, we were allowed to decorate the venue, which was very convenient. This allowed us to prepare everything in peace and implement our own ideas. The rooms were beautiful and perfectly suited our celebration.
On the wedding day itself, the service was simply top-notch – attentive, friendly, and professional. The food was an absolute highlight: our guests are still raving about it today! The baked country egg with lemon risotto as an intermezzo, the mini schnitzels at the champagne reception, and the mini burgers at the midnight buffet were particularly popular.
We had around 85 guests, and everyone had a great time. Many also took advantage of the convenient overnight accommodations at the guesthouse directly across the street.
All in all, the Keidenzeller Hof was the perfect choice for our celebration – a dream location with great food, fantastic service, and wonderfully warm support beforehand. We can truly recommend this venue without reservation!
There were two of us at the restaurant. I opted for the Sauerbraten (sauerbraten). The food was excellent. I wasn't disappointed. The white wine was also very good.
I can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant.
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service and the food. It didn't match the price. The portion, especially the roast beef with onions, was far too small and was more like a fillet, and the taste wasn't at all satisfying. Overall, we felt unappreciated as a customer, for example, there was no greeting from the kitchen.
Gabriele's restaurant is always worth a visit. I've been going to him for years and have never been disappointed. I love his pizzas and the hospitality
NOT RECOMMENDED!!! We were there with a group of 6 people around mid-afternoon. Because our order wasn't big enough for the boss, he came to our table after 10 minutes and asked if we were trying to rip him off. The boss immediately became aggressive; I've never seen guests treated like that before. Since the place was empty except for us, his behavior was more than questionable. We were immediately asked to pay; once again, the boss behaved abysmally. After he then tried to miscalculate the bill, this was officially the worst dining experience I've ever had in Würzburg. Never again!!!
An absolutely good restaurant that has nothing to do with a run-of-the-mill Italian restaurant. The service, the ambience and of course the small but fine menu. Food 10/10, whether sea bream or pasta, everything is very special and fine. Pizza also looks very tasty, but I haven't tried it yet, bon appetit! It's worth it! VG Ingo
