Main Haus in Würzburg

Wir waren gestern mit 4Personen dort und es war wieder sehr gut und preiswert.

Gute Deutsche Küche, war alles lecker ,Preis/Leistung top.

Wir gehen gerne ins Mainhaus. Hier wird bodenständig und sehr gut gekocht. Die Fischangebote auf der Karte solltet ihr euch unbedingt gönnen. Der Service ist schnell und zuvorkommend und erfüllt auch Sonderwünsche. Hier kann man auch mit größeren Gruppen hingehen. Trotzdem sollte man sich immer anmelden. Beim Ambiente mache ich kleine Abstriche. Aber ich bin ja auch nicht im Nobellokal. Im Sommer gibt es viele Plätze überdacht im Freien. Jetzt mit neuem Mobiliar!!!! Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Allerdings muss man bei den vielen Schlaglöchern gut aufpassen, wohin man tritt. Vielleicht lässt sich da einmal Abhilfe schaffen?

Das Main Haus hat ein einen tollen Außenbereich in dem man wunderbar mit der Familie essen kann. Die Gerichte schmecken super und sind schön angerichtet. Unsere junge Kellnerin war total freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch Hunde sind hier willkommen. Für ein angenehm fränkisches Familienessen wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir sind des öfteren dort, vor allem bei schönem Wetter,da man da schön draußen sitzen kann um das leckere Essen zu genießen. Was wir auch sehr zu schätzen wissen, sind die netten Servicekräfte die einen immer mit einem Lächeln bedienen

Wir haben das "Mein Haus" nun schon zweimal besucht und wurden nie enttäuscht. Die Qualität des Essens ist hervorragend und die Portionen machen richtig satt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das tolle Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ein großes Lob geht an das Team: Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, flink und mit vollem Engagement dabei. Auch die zentrale Lage ist ein Pluspunkt, da man es von der Innenstadt aus bequem erreichen kann. 5 Sterne von mir!

Waren heute das erste mal dort. Hatten Ochsenbäckchen dort gegessen. War sehr gut. Der Service ist auch gut gewesen. Gerne wieder.

Wer es kennt, der kennt es. Ein nettes fränkisches Restaurant am Mainufer. Ich habe Silvaner-Suppe und ein halbes gegrilltes Hähnchen bestellt. Auf jeden Fall einen erneuten Besuch wert.

Richtig lecker! Heute hatte der Sohn des Hauses Geburtstag und ich war so nett und hab ihm alles Gute gewünscht. Hab heute Schäufele gegessen und alle anderen Male Cotton-bleu (wird es so geschrieben?) Naja, das Wasser ist auch sehr gut!

Nettes Lokal direkt am Fuß-/Radweg zwischen Würzburg und Randersacker am Main gelegen. Die Speisen sind sehr gut, die Portionen ordentlich. Auch der Service ist super. Einzig die Lautstärke, wenn das Lokal gut besucht ist, was hier meistens der Fall ist, ist zu bemängeln.

A perfect Christmas party – it couldn't have been better! We celebrated our Christmas party with 50 people at Mainhaus and were absolutely thrilled. The room was beautifully decorated for Christmas and reserved exclusively for us. The service was absolutely top-notch: friendly, attentive, perfectly organized, and always present without being intrusive. The excellent organization of the food deserves special mention. All dishes arrived hot and at the same time for each table, which is anything but a given with such a large group and was handled with true professionalism. The quality of the food was consistently very good. The value for money was also excellent – ​​fair, transparent, and appropriate for what was offered. Many thanks to the entire Mainhaus team for this wonderful evening. Our Christmas party couldn't have gone better. Highly recommended, especially for larger groups! 🎄👏

Excellent food and friendly service. The only downside is that the entrance is easy to miss, especially in the dark.

Braised ox cheeks with red wine sauce, dumplings, and salad, followed by plum strudel with wine sauce and vanilla ice cream for dessert. A lovely room with a stove, beautifully set tables, and friendly service.

We ate there for the first time...the food was incredibly delicious. There were four of us, and everyone raved about their chosen dish. What's also amazing here is the very friendly and attentive service—you rarely find that. Kudos! The only downside is the ambiance, which isn't great, but that's all the place has to offer. The most important things deserve 5 stars: the service and the food. We'll definitely be back.

The Main Haus in Würzburg is simply a fantastic place! You feel welcome from the moment you arrive – the ambiance is modern, cozy, and designed with great attention to detail. The location directly on the Main River is perfect, offering beautiful views and reaching the city center in just a few minutes. The team is extremely friendly and accommodating; you immediately notice that service is a top priority here. Everything is very clean and well-maintained, making you feel completely at home. The great atmosphere is also particularly noteworthy: relaxed, stylish, and welcoming at the same time. Whether for a short city break or a longer stay – the Main Haus is highly recommended. I will definitely be back!

I wouldn't eat fish here. Today's Mediterranean sea bream was not good at all. It was swimming in fat, the bottom fillet was mushy and tasted only of garlic, simply not prepared well. I love eating and cooking fish, but it just wasn't right. Too bad, the other dishes looked passable. Update: The owner tried to have the review deleted, which speaks volumes.

This was our third visit. The food was good, fresh, and my zander was a dream. The salad was amazing. And the service, wow, was top-notch again. Thanks, stay the way you are.

Easy to reach by car, but also easy to miss. A small inn surrounded by greenery. The front view of the building initially put me off a bit, but walking around the building helps. A lovely shady outdoor area with lots of greenery. The staff is friendly and quick. The food... Wow. From their own cool creations of Franconian cuisine to classics, they have it all. And they're absolutely delicious, too. I've lived here in Würzburg for eight years now and I'm a little sorry I only visited this first time. Highly recommended

A little hidden away and not particularly charming from the outside, but as soon as you turn the corner, you find yourself in a wonderful, shady, covered outdoor area. The interior is also pleasantly cool and beautifully decorated. The food is exceptionally delicious, with a standard menu and a seasonal weekly menu. Traditional German cooking. The portions are absolutely generous. The service is friendly and fast. There is ample parking nearby (100 meters) and directly in front of the restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic. I wasn't expecting anything; it looked a bit messy in the parking lot, and it wasn't exactly a visual highlight... BUT the food was fantastic! The service was impeccable 🤌🏻 nothing to complain about.

Today I was in the Main House with my brother. The first impression was fine: the service was friendly, the atmosphere pleasant. We were particularly looking forward to a fresh, high-quality salad – a light but appealing meal. We are aware that salads are no longer the cheapest option on most menus. But we are willing to pay a little more for quality, freshness and an appropriate portion. We chose the gourmet salad – an auspicious name – with chicken breast strips, apple slices, ginger croutons and honey mustard dressing. The price of €13.50 seemed reasonable to us for a rich and lovingly prepared dish. But what came to the table was simply disappointing: a small side salad bowl with three chicken breast strips on top and three half slices of toasted bread each. Honestly, that doesn't work. For this price you definitely expect more - be it in the portion size, the presentation or the side dish. Toast may be appropriate in some situations, but in a dish called “gourmet salad,” it seems out of place and unloving. Less is sometimes more, yes, but not at a price of €13.50 and this portion size. The taste of the salad was okay, but the size of the portion and the side dish really disappointed us. We agreed: We absolutely cannot recommend this gourmet salad at this price. I'm really sorry to have to give such a review, but we were simply disappointed. And if anyone is wondering why we didn't say anything on site: Honestly - as a restaurateur you should notice something like that yourself. It wasn't a star restaurant where you expect smaller portions, but a down-to-earth restaurant where we expected reasonable value for money.

Very good service and delicious food

The short version is: Franconian cuisine at a high level at reasonable prices - an excellent, friendly and jokey service staff - alternating beer delicacies - a wonderful place for connoisseurs! The food is a pleasure for all the senses. Not only good taste, but also a delicious look and seductive smell make it an irresistible temptation. The selection is large, there is something for every taste. Reasonably priced, every euro is well invested in freshness, quality and good craftsmanship. The restaurant is located in the middle of the countryside on the natural healing island directly on an oxbow lake on the Main. In summer it's wonderful to sit outside and enjoy the coolness in the fresh air with a delicious cold drink. The interiors may not be the ultimate in style, but they also give the Main House its own distinctive character. Beer drinkers and friends of high-quality spirits will get their money's worth here. There are always changing regional beers in addition to the standard beers on the menu (which are all of regional origin!). Spirits from the House of Fine Brandies from Randersacker are served: they are well known to connoisseurs because they regularly receive awards at tastings. What impressed me most every time I visited was the friendly warmth of the staff and the boss. It's really rare to experience something like that! It's completely okay if at some point you are made emphatically, but still friendly and with a smile, that it's almost the end of the working day. And it is done on time (and rightly so!).

Today a guest in the Main House. Visit with our regulars' table. Drink selection very good. Price ok. The boss brought us the drinks and was friendly. Eating Franconian bratwurst with bread, well. As a Frank, I would say "That was nothing" The taste of the 3 sausages is not Franconian, as you know them. Onion cake was ok. Homemade pumpkin pasta with porcini mushrooms works well. Come again.

Always love the best food there

Food was great, service could be faster and there were lots of bees in the tents outside, where lemon candles could help and also contribute to the ambience.

Yesterday I ate the specialty "suckling pig", it was super good, sensational crust and delicious sauce and I even got both crispy ears, the best thing about the whole piglet... The food is outstanding! The selection is very good! A well-selected weekly menu is also offered. Absolutely convinced by the taste and the size of the portions. The three of us had the wedding dinner, beef cheeks, Burgundy roast and, as a starter, the delicious liver dumpling soup. 5 stars! Unfortunately, tables are a bit too low for tall people.

Really good Franconian inn. We had chanterelles with noodles and roast water buffalo with dumplings, both really good. Friendly staff and really good cuisine.

We only knew the Schnitzel-Häusle and were a bit skeptical at first, but we were very positively surprised: fast service, delicious Franconian cuisine and very reasonable prices!

Four of us went there for dinner today. I had meatballs that tasted good but were really tiny. They looked really lost on my plate. And sauce with my dish would have been great too. It was already pretty dry. I wouldn't order it again now. Service was friendly, just a bit confusing at times. But I would also like to add that the other people enjoyed it wonderfully. And we will definitely come back again.

The food is so delicious, we go there regularly and have never been disappointed. It always works out that we all get our food together at the table. The staff is very attentive, e.g. drinks, dessert, espresso... The boss and the staff are always friendly. If you're upset about the opening times, you're welcome to take on this job where people sit forever and you don't have a regular closing time as staff (see review by a woman from Kram). By the way, these opening hours have been in place in Austria for 15 years and what can I say, it works and you can find staff there too. The opening times are also listed on the restaurant's website (if you can read, you're clearly at an advantage!!!!) My friends and I can only give a good rating. Keep it up 😉
