MAM-MAM Burger in Würzburg

I'm only giving it one star because the benches aren't comfortable and are quite cramped. The food was very tasty. However, I found the price a bit high, at least for Würzburg. The burger was delicious, and I ordered sweet potato fries with it... the sweet potato fries were good, but I've had many, many better ones. Normally, I don't need sauce with sweet potato fries. This time, I did. For value for money, I'd only give it 4/5. The food was tasty enough to warrant 5 stars, though. If possible, I would have given it 4.5.

The restaurant's overall design was great. They had a perfect gin and tonic. I also ordered a beer, but it wasn't particularly impressive—it neither thrilled nor disappointed. Afterward, I tried the Jupi sauce and the Mam-Mam sauce. Their signature sauce was excellent, while the Jupi sauce was just like any other. The food was prepared relatively quickly. The fries had a special grooved design, which helped them soak up the sauce well. I then tried their classic Mam-Mam burger and the blue cheese burger. The bun was sweet, and the blue cheese flavor was quite pronounced in the burger. However, I was expecting a more robust meat flavor, combined with the lettuce, tomato, side dish, and their sauce. These two burgers didn't particularly impress me—they were more of a happy medium. In total, I paid €41.50. I'd like to emphasize the restaurant's design once again, as it's truly beautiful and I really enjoyed it. If I were hungry, I would definitely come back, but I wouldn't describe it as a dining experience.

Too expensive, €5 for fries + €2 for dip + €12 for a burger + XYZ for toppings + €5 for a drink for a mediocre experience.

Solid burgers, great service, cool atmosphere

Staying for a couple of nights in Wurzburg, we tried this place based on other reviews. We were not disappointed. Service was quick, polite and efficient despite a very large group that had just ordered in front of us. Burgers and fries were amazing. would definitely return if we are in Wurzburg again.

Anyone offering outdoor seating should also be able to serve customers. I waited 30 minutes and no server even showed up. Completely ignored, absolutely disrespectful to guests. Terrible service, definitely not recommended. (Visited on November 5th)

Great little spot, very busy. Has a very modern feel with large art pieces on the walls. We both had burgers which were great and also ordered the chilli-fries thinking they would come like they do in Canada with a meat based chilli on them but they came covered in cheese, hot sauce and jalapeños it was still good though. Fast and reasonably priced.

A delicious place we've visited twice in a row because they really do have delicious burgers. If the owner reads my comment, I'd recommend ordering your burger with berry sauce—it'll be absolutely delicious! Special thanks for letting our dog come inside and giving him water. That was so sweet.

Now they pretend we pay extra for the sauces when ordering tijuana fries…

I'm not a big burger fan myself, but when I want one, I go here. For me, it's the best burger place in Würzburg. The staff is incredibly friendly and the meat is cooked to perfection. I'm a regular there now. Highly recommended.

I've rarely experienced such friendly and courteous service. Since the place was busy, we had to wait quite a while for our burgers. They were tasty but rather average.

At first, you think: okay, another burger joint, but we really needed this one! The entire team is very friendly, and you immediately feel at home! The restaurant is also significantly larger than it looks from the outside, and the tables are comfortably spaced so you don't have to eat behind other customers. Many would probably describe the burgers as simple, but just right! They have a very tasty vegan burger, which you can also make vegetarian or add more vegetables if you like (for an additional charge, of course). The fries are highly recommended, especially the loaded fries with sour cream and guacamole.

A fantastic restaurant! The ambiance matches the menu, and everything looks very modern and new. The service is very attentive, and the food and drinks are, of course, excellent. The prices are also very reasonable. The restrooms are clean and tidy. Reservations are not necessary (at least during the week). You can sit inside or outside.

I ordered something to take away earlier and was expecting to have to wait more than half an hour as it was busy, but the old fries were mixed in with the fresh ones, and the brioche was really hard under half, so I had to throw it away and eat it like that. It's a real shame for the money, but the service was pretty friendly.

Delicious, freshly made burgers (we had a 200g mam mam burger with and without cheese, a chicken burger, and potato fries) to take away. If you love a good burger, this is the place for you. The potato fries were crispy despite being in a thermos flask and soft on the inside, really nice. I'll be back 👍🏼

Too expensive for the price. Tables were dirty when you walked in. For two people, it cost almost €50 for 2 burgers, 1 fries, 1 0.33l water, and 1 wheat beer (not on the menu, so we got 0.33l Coke and 0.5l wheat beer). Service was okay; after a 20-minute wait, we went to the counter to pay.

I'm always happy when there are really good restaurants outside of the already really big chains – and MAM-MAM Burger is definitely one of them. The place is hip, different, and absolutely won me over. The burgers were juicy and really tasty, along with the crispy fries, which were also top-notch. I especially like that mayo and ketchup are available right at your table, as much as you want – exactly my thing. Absolutely recommend it to anyone in Würzburg who wants a really good burger.

I'm truly disappointed! You go to this restaurant, order the biggest burger, pay almost €20, and leave hungry... I'm not kidding! The burger was small, the meat was dry, one slice of tomato, cucumber, and lettuce... The waiters brought the wrong order twice. There was practically no reaction to the information that we didn't like it...

Super delicious fries, especially the sweet potato fries, which were nice and crispy. The burgers are okay, but nothing really special. It's nice that you can order all of them vegan with Beyond Meat. The cocktails are also delicious and reasonably priced. The service was fast and courteous.

The MAM-MAM Burger Restaurant is a truly lovely spot in the heart of Würzburg. The burgers are delicious, as are the sides. You can really taste the cheese on the burgers. Our service was also very friendly. One star deducted because the burgers weren't outstanding and the price-performance ratio was completely out of line. The high prices aren't justified by the top quality. For a burger for €17.50 (not even the most expensive, and the side isn't included), you simply can't go home hungry, even if you had a side. So, in summary: solid burgers, a beautifully designed restaurant, overpriced.

The burger I ate at this restaurant wasn't just any burger. It was THE burger. The one-piece. I haven't had such a good burger in a long time. The last time I enjoyed a burger this much was here. If you like burgers, you should stop by. There are also some tasty side options. There's also a vegan burger for those who don't enjoy meat. The atmosphere, accompanied by wonderful music, was perfect for chatting with others. Whoever owns this restaurant, thank you for opening it and making my day better. Overall, a wonderful burger, a must-try.

We went to Mam Mam Burger in Würzburg for lunch on August 15th. Since we were regulars in Bayreuth and were always satisfied there, we wanted to try the Würzburg branch as well, and we were not disappointed! The price-performance ratio is excellent, very fair, and the service was super friendly. Highly recommended!

The burger was well-prepared, but subpar for a burger restaurant. "Homemade" lemonade here simply means syrup mixed with water. Too bad, otherwise it looks fine.

I ate here as a solo diner for an early dinner. I chose this place because they have Beyond Burgers, and as a vegetarian, these are my preferred burgers as a rare treat. I ordered a beyond burger with cheese, a watermelon lemonade, and sweet potatoes fries. (my total came to 22 euros). The burger was very good with a nice balance of ingredients. The lemonade was a bit small for the price, really packed with ice. The sweet potato fries were crispy, but they really needed an aioli or some sort of sauce. I definitely recommend this place for a quick burger.

My wife and I were looking for a restaurant that might be easy on the wallet with decent quality food. We were overwhelmed with the quality of the welcome we received from the gentleman who not only assisted us, but allowed us to bring in our suitcases. We had a few hours before between trains and wanted to look around the city a bit. For those concerned about food quality, it is halal and absolutely delicious. We looked at the burger we ordered and you could see it was good quality ground beef and cooked to perfection. Mynwife and I both ordered the same "original cheese burgers and were equally happy. We ordered the cheese fries. If you like the "cheese whiz" taste, you'll like the sauce otherwise, just enjoy these big beautiful thick fries. My wife doesn't like fizzy drinks and got a bottle of peach drink. Very good. I had the homemade pink grapefruit lemonade and it was also very tasty. We were so pleased with the service, we changed our minds about the dessert and ordered two hot brownies with vanilla ice cream. My goodness! The brownies in their own were very good but the ice cream was to die for. It was rich and creamy. This was good quality ice cream (my cousin is a dairy farm in Germany). The whip cream was also outstanding. You could taste that it was from milk unlike the cheaper chemical ones. Just a lovely end to a great day. Sadly, we cannot come back because we are from Canada. I just wish I had taken pictures of the food, but I didn't imagine it would be so good. If you want to have a nice sit down with family and/or friends, this is the perfect place to go.

This was perversion in burger form; I haven't had such a great burger in a long time. The meat was so juicy and cooked just right, still slightly pink. The homemade fries were complemented by the delicious dip. The atmosphere was young and modern. I'd love to come back and eat a burger here. I'm always happy to come back and visit you ❤️

I think it would be okay to ask for a little less sauce when ordering a salad 😅

The food was disappointing and definitely not worth the money. The meatballs were old and in very small quantity. The chicken burger only contained three chicken nuggets, a thin slice of tomato and two small lettuce leaves. The waiter said there were 300-400 grams of meat in the burger, but we weighed it - that wasn't true at all. Overall very disappointing - I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Great citizens with delicious fries. I can also recommend the milkshake. Staff is super nice and quick. Toilets are available and clean. The price of the burger with fries is on the higher side. But it's worth a visit for people who like to eat citizens. The outside area is on a side street, so it's quiet but not exciting.

I ate here a few days ago with a friend and my girlfriend. The burger and fries weren't bad per se. However, I and my buddy had a really bad 24 hours after that dinner. We had such gastrointestinal problems that can only come from bad meat. My friend had a vegan burger, she felt great. I would like to thank you for allowing me to pay €20 for such an experience.

Really good restaurant if you just want to relax and have a really good hamburger want to eat. The homemade Mam-Mam burger is highly recommended, and one burger will easily fill you up. The staff is also very nice and friendly. The only thing I have to complain about is that the music was a little too loud. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

We've been there several times now and unfortunately we've decided that it was the last time. The first time the food was great, but every time it got worse and worse. The fries were old, the burger didn't taste like anything, then there was a hair in the food. Mistakes happen, it's human, but the fifth time dissatisfaction is enough. The staff is really extremely overwhelmed, you have to repeat everything 10 times and still get misunderstood, which unfortunately isn't any fun anymore.

My girlfriend and I discovered this burger place through NeoTaste and were able to try 2 burgers for the price of one. We had the Mam Mam Cheeseburger and the Chickenburger, both delicious. We especially liked the sauce. Fries were good too. All in all a well-rounded thing!!
