We've been visiting irregularly for many years. However, for the past two or three years, the food has been extremely salty (not just the fries). This naturally encourages more alcohol consumption and doctor visits.

I'm from Munich and tried various kofte there. While there's a wide selection in Munich, the kofte from Dönermo Chef are truly outstanding. You can immediately tell that the food is cooked with passion. The chef told me that the kofte are homemade—no pre-made products. The bread is also freshly baked here, nothing from a factory. Almost everything is made in-house—highly recommended!

Delicious shawarma and fries. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. If only they could accept card payments.

I went to this snack bar and was sadly disappointed. A small sign on the counter indicated that payment was only possible in cash. Unfortunately, it was easy to miss, so I had to get some money first. When I returned, the owner asked me for an extra 50 cents, even though he knew I didn't have any change. In response to my reminder, he simply said it was a joke, and if I didn't understand the humor, that was my own problem. A strange sense of humor and a disrespectful tone. The kebab itself was just as mediocre as the service; nothing special. Overall, an experience not necessarily worth repeating.

The best kebab we've had. If you're really hungry, ask for the XL Dürüm. It's not on the menu, but they make it anyway. You can tell the chef cares about his product.

Part of the order couldn't be made because the ingredients were missing. As an alternative, a dürüm was ordered, and everything was simply put on top. Finally, the salad was missing the dressing. Otherwise, the dürüm was delicious.

Came here for tacos and döner. Terrible mistake. Döner was ok, but since pork and beef is haram or whatever, everything is chicken. Chicken döner is terrible. And the taco, if u can even call it that, was horrendous. Not only was it not a taco but it also tasted like curry, along with the döner and fries we got. For $50, this was insanely terrible. Zero authenticity, zero flavor, and zero respect for tacos — or döner. I’ve been to little hidden döner shops and gotten 40x better for a fraction of the price.

We went there for lunch while on vacation. Everyone was very friendly, and my vegetarian pide was freshly topped and absolutely delicious! We also really enjoyed the fries and the pizza with doner meat. They cut the doner meat with "the machine," how cool is that? :)

A very strange kebab shop. For the first time, we've experienced a cash-only (!) payment option. Why they don't accept card payments in 2025 remains a mystery to us. When we asked for a receipt after paying, the clerk simply replied, "Why?" The clerk's German skills obviously left a lot to be desired. But after this answer, it became much clearer to us why only cash payments are accepted here.

Dürum is a bit more expensive than I was used to, but it's also one of the thickest Dürums I've ever had :-D So everything's great. Taste great too. I wasn't asked for sauce, but that wasn't a bad thing. It can happen sometimes too. Next time I'll say it straight away. The sauce was still great, but I don't know what it was. The whole shop also looks much more modern and better than most kebab shops. Staff also super nice. I'll be back and I'll be happy to do so! Bonus point: Finally saw “The Device” in action :-)

During our trip in Germany, we ate doner kebab at many Turkish doner restaurants, and one of our favorites was Dönermo. Even though it was a touristic place, the prices were very reasonable. Clean, honest, friendly service. We ate doner wrap, margarita pizza and fries, it was very delicious and the portions were quite large. The french fries were crispy and delicious. I definitely recommend them and I thank them very much for their hospitality.

We went to the kebab several times during a long vacation. We come from North Rhine-Westphalia and grew up with kebab snack bars there. That's why we were generally skeptical about going to a kebab restaurant in Mittenwald. We thought the freshly prepared Turkish dishes, especially the kofta, were absolutely great. We also felt completely at home in the restaurant with the friendly staff. We will definitely come back to the kebab next year.

Some people say this and others say this about kebab shops. I say you can, but you don't have to with kebab. When I look in our area, there is one who is unbeatable for us. Everyone has to try and judge for themselves. I forgot one thing, yes it's a holiday region, but we think it's too expensive.

We were served by the boss and a strange situation arose. Without asking, a sauce was simply put on a kebab. The boss then seemed a bit stressed and explained to us how things were going in his shop. I found it unfriendly. Then around 6 p.m. the garlic sauce was gone. Sorry, but I didn't like it that much. The food was ok. PS: Regarding the owner's note. It just wasn't asked. There are several witnesses to this. And it's surprising and speaks for itself when the comment on a review is much longer than the review itself. It's a shame that the facts are then distorted so much.
