The food was good and cheap. Even a small change to the dishes was possible without any problems. The drinks (wine and beer) were also very reasonably priced. So no rip-off as is often the case today. The service was very nice and attentive. We'll definitely be back

We had dinner here. The dining room was cold and uncomfortable. Heating cold. Service has room for improvement. That same evening, food in the toilet, diarrhea. Today, a day later, still having intestinal problems from eating. Metzger Imbiss doesn't deserve the name Metzger. Boss rude, should read the etiquette. No greetings, no goodbyes, etc. There is better in Mittenwald. Can't recommend it, rather advise against a visit.

So that was the worst food I've ever eaten, (roast pork with red cabbage and dumplings) red cabbage was totally overcooked and one spice was totally dominant, I guess speculoos wouldn't work at all. You can drink the beer, but the waiter would have to take a closer look at what you want with the beer. A lot of work still needs to be done on the atmosphere. I am not passing on any recommendations!

Tables are not cleared, cards are smeared with mayo. Schnitzel was spoiled but we were expected to pay for it anyway.

Went there because of the Bavarian ambience and brass music. I've never eaten such bad white sausages. Probably made in the microwave. Cold goulash soup. Served after warming up in a totally smeared plate. Locally neglected. Staff unfriendly and overwhelmed. That something like this still exists?

A drama, the whole family sits in the motorhome with construction pain. Everything is getting old, dirty and dusty if you look at the ceiling. The fire door is still not covered after 2 years. The food is cheap but really not recommended.

We wanted to have a snack shortly before the train departure, unfortunately we ended up there. The only positive thing was the speed of the service lady, but I have never seen such white sausages in my life (pale, fried, as if they had been lying there for two weeks Counter) still ate (taste was subterranean, hard, more like a piece of soft shoe sole). Unfortunately I had to stop enjoying the white sausage after the first bite...

Rarely have I sat so badly. Weisswurst was returned, so old and spoiled in color. My burger...salad completely old, bread so hard you could hardly cut it. Currywurst also leaves a lot to be desired. It's been there again and again over the last few years but it's gotten progressively worse. Today is definitely the last time. Too bad

All dishes are tasty and hot. Perfect pork shank - crispy skin, juicy inside. Schnitzel is not too greasy, the fries are crispy, fragrant and aromatic currywurst. Drinks ok. Perfect service. Prices acceptable. Best regards, waitress. See you next time.

Our goulash soup arrived cold and had hardly any meat.

Dirty, greasy tables. The food was inedible: sauerkraut overcooked, roast pork pure fat. Chicken dried out. A view of the kitchen and toilet rounded off the picture.

Very, very tasty in a rustic location. Everything freshly prepared and great service. If you don't want to be served, you can pick up your food right next door at the grill station and pay there too. Nevertheless, consumption on site is possible. All in all great and definitely recommended.

Too early for lunch, so it should be a liver loaf roll on hand. In the snack area I felt more like a nuisance than a customer. The waitress actually just checked us in, no trace of friendliness. But, the Leberkäs was delicious and the roll was fresh, so nothing to complain about for €3.40. The interior of the adjacent restaurant areas didn't necessarily invite you to linger, but we didn't want that either. So for now it's okay for a quick snack, the other reviewers share their other experiences.

Absolutely not recommended. We haven't encountered such unfriendly service in a long time. Overall it gave the impression that you weren't welcome. After we received our stale drinks we were no longer noticed. (Luckily otherwise we would have stupidly ordered food). People next to us also showed off.

In the middle of Mittenwald, top food for little money. The burgers are great, schnitzel burgers are highly recommended. Chicken sometimes a bit dry but okay. Drink prices are top for the region. Always super friendly staff in service and at the counter. Price-performance top👍

Incredibly dirty shop, the tables are sticky and the seats of the chairs inside are dirty and torn. The toilets have neither light (although this could be an advantage given the filthy rooms) nor toilet paper or paper towels. A disaster for children. The food was a disaster, we all had diarrhea and felt bad. Our beer and the Fanta tasted flat and stale, everything was uncarbonated. Everything smelled of old grease. The young man who served (dark hair) was cheeky with the guests and fell asleep while walking, the only thing that tried hard was the female waiter (Bozena or similar) who worked her heels off and still had a little smile left for everyone . The health department urgently needs to go here!!!!

We expected a good home-style restaurant. We got the opposite. Waiting time of up to 30 minutes until a service person finally came. At least a greeting would have been appropriate. The food was ok but nothing more. We were there again two days later - but only because everything else was already booked. The same game again, after a good 25 minutes we got up and left. Far too few staff and cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately that was nothing!

The waitress who wears glasses was very rude. He treated us the whole time as if he wanted us to leave and not only us, but also the other customers.

Food (2x half chicken, white sausages) partly ok, partly underground (liver cheese cold, potato salad sour and greasy). Drinks were also not up to standard (soda was dead, non-alcoholic beer had apparently been open for days). The toilets are probably not meant to be used, so paper and soap are missing. The chairs inside reveal their innermost being as upholstery covers are tattered. Cleanliness generally leaves a lot to be desired. The staff is either overwhelmed and hectic or disinterested and unfriendly. Honestly? Close the shop! I also felt sick for hours after the “meal”! To be honest, I've never experienced anything like that! Edit: I've been shuttling between the couch and the toilet for hours - it looks like I have food poisoning! I'm seriously considering reporting this to the authorities!

In both women's toilets there was neither toilet paper nor soap to wash your hands or anything to dry your hands. I told the service staff and they said the boss wanted it that way. It's unbelievable that no-go toilet paper isn't even provided. Unfortunately, the quality of the food also decreased after the change of ownership. Will eat somewhere else in the future.

First wow then the total FLOP!! We saw the dishes from other guests. Visually really great, so sit in and enjoy, that's our thought. When we wanted to order our food after ordering the drinks, we were told that the right part of the menu was not on offer (burgers, etc.). Mhh, well... our son had to decide for a moment and chose the schnitzel. I have half the knuckle and my wife has half the hand. Well, you can't go wrong with TK Schnitzel, that was ok. But the dry Händl with rubber skin and the knuckle with leather crust and also dry meat, really not edible. The fries were ok, but the dumpling was dry and hard and the sauerkraut was more like dried cabbage with no taste. Sauce???? None!!! All in all, if this is supposed to represent Bavarian cuisine, then never again. So it's better to go next door and pay a few € more. This is definitely worth it!!! Never here again!!!!

From the initially positive external impression and the inexpensive food on offer, we were convinced that we could eat well here. The first impression was marred by the unfriendly service. We ordered drinks and food. Unfortunately, the glasses were filled well below the calibration mark. My request to add a little more potato salad to my dish for a fee was commented on unkindly by the waitress. The food was overall quite okay. Only the general conditions, including the stupid comment from the waitress about tips (she didn't deserve any), are more than in need of improvement. Every holiday there is a knuckle from here. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We love it!

Catastrophe!!! The sign says hot food until 9 p.m., I just wanted some chicken nuggets to take away, but that was absolutely impossible; The rather rude waitress said there was only what was there, which was semi-dry bockwurst, a few meat patties and a schnitzel, which I decided on, mind you for €5.90 on the street without rolls etc.! The waitress said I should find out about the opening times on the internet. The problem is that this shop doesn't have an internet presence; PS: I come from the catering industry myself and am familiar with staff shortages, but that was outrageous! PS2: the schnitzel without side dish was delicious PS3: it was 4.30 p.m., that annoyed me the most

We ordered roast pork. Unfortunately it was quite dry and the sauce was very salty. So the chef was obviously in love with the sauce. Dead flies everywhere, the table was sticky and the atmosphere ⭐️⭐️ was not appealing.

Very good food, huge portions. Tastes just as it should. We had roast pork with Blaukrat and bread dumplings and knuckle with Sauerkrat and bread dumplings. Dumplings were homemade, knuckle grilled until nice and crispy. If you don't mind the snack atmosphere, this is a very good place for well under €15

The waitress is super friendly (she took the Coke off the bill after we complained) and the atmosphere is okay for a takeaway, but if you're looking for authentic German food in a clean restaurant, you should go elsewhere. . . . I wouldn't recommend going here. The fries were soft and not crunchy at all and our Diet Coke didn’t have any gas. The waitress is super friendly (after our complaint she deducted our drinks from the receipt) and the atmosphere is okay for an imbiss but if you are looking for authentic German food in a clean restaurant you should go somewhere else.

Non-carbonated soda (light cola). Hands of pink flesh (instead of white) and the skin soft (instead of crispy). Small narrow fries, dry not hot. Measure of beer 😋.

Their food is simply terrible, not only the food seems to be bought ready-made from supermarkets (which I don't mind) but the pork meat tasted like it was left out for days before being cooked. Not only that, the Schweinebraten came out with lots of hair still on the pork skin itself, indicating that it was not properly prepared before cooking

Great menu, ideal for parents with children. Very good location and very fast, very friendly service, completely free of the grumpiness that is otherwise common in Mittenwald. Very good value for money. Full recommendation!!!!

The best chicken in Bavaria!!!!

1 star because the chicken was so disastrous and the Almdudler was far too sweet and uncarbonated. Unfortunately the food was absolutely not good. Half of the chicken was dry but at the same time totally fatty. For whatever reason, it was already tarnished under the skin instead of being light like a chicken should be, as if it was from the day before. It smelled and tasted strange. The fries tasted like chicken. The Almdudler, probably from the tap, was like still water with too much syrup. So absolutely not the cult drink you would expect, the schnitzel and the schnitzel burger were good. Quite a shame and not recommended.

Dumplings Watery Roast roasted to death Non- or slightly carbonated drinks

“We would like 2 curry sausages”. The counter man puts them in the steam grill for 4 seconds. We're a bit surprised. He: "With fries?" We: no, without." The waitress in a good mood comes over. He: "THEY (!!) don't want fries." She: "I've already calculated that" and rolls her eyes. Then we get 2 squishy BOCKWURST (!), slapped together in non-environmentally friendly packaging. Without cutlery. Question: How do you eat a Bockwurst like that? Never again! We really feel sorry for anyone who can't tell a currywurst from a bockwurst. And everything for 10.80. Without words!

We ate schnitzel with fries, chicken with fries and roast pork. Chicken and schnitzel were OK (you could eat them), the roast pork, red cabbage and dumplings didn't taste good. The red cabbage was only sweet and tasted like cloves, the dumplings didn't taste like anything and the consistency was very "schlonzig". The roast didn't taste fresh. Not recommended at all.

Unfortunately, absolutely not recommended. Food served in very few minutes. The schnitzels were dripping with fat, tough. Gypsy sauce was more of a curry sauce with a few pieces of pepper, even the greasy ones. Fries greasy and crispy like chips…. A portion pack of ketchup placed on the fries, delicious... The waitress was surprised by the feedback; we wanted to pay the bill in full without any nasty discussions. He had offered to serve something else, we said no, so we only had to pay for the drinks. That was ok, but I would have preferred good food. The two stars for the service.

That was by far the worst meal. We ordered pork knuckle with red cabbage and dumplings as well as roast pork with sauerkraut and dumplings. A pork knuckle and a roast pork arrived, both of which were covered with a thick, creamy dark sauce. The meat didn't smell yet. The pork knuckle was covered with the dark sauce so that you couldn't see the blackened meat. The completely dried out meat from the roast pork could easily have been used as the sole of a shoe. It was warmed in the microwave with the red cabbage and dumplings. The only edible thing was the dumpling. He wasn't as old as the rest. The service was friendly. Considering that we have eaten here several times and have never had such bad food, I didn't criticize the store because, in my opinion, the service couldn't do anything about it.

No Please not. Good food is different. Maybe try a pinball booth or a bike rental. But DO NOT continue doing what you are currently doing. The lady in service is great and the beer is ok. But that was it. The area where the “food” is prepared should be intimidating enough. But if you go in anyway, like us, it's your own fault. Knuckle with Leberkaas and cold red cabbage and a pile of something, which, when asked, turned out to be the dumpling. However, I lacked the imagination. So, bikes or pinball machines, but NO restaurants.

Rustikales Lokal mit großen Scheiben die den Blick auf die Fußgängerzone und Kirche bieten. Mit netter Bedienung die sich Mühe gibt Sonderwünsche zu erfüllen. Einrichtung ist einfach aber dafür auch die Preise fair.
