Wir waren über das verlängerte Vatertagswochenende in Bamberg und haben vorab einen Tisch reserviert. Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt, im Toscanino. Angefangen hat es mit der freundlichen Begrüßung, weiter ging es mit einem hervorragenden Essen. Toller Service, angenehme Atmosphäre. So einen schönen Abend hatten wir schon lange nicht mehr. Wenn wir mal wieder nach Bamberg kommen, werden wir definitiv hier wieder vorbeikommen.

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant mit tollem Essen, hervorragendem Wein und unglaublich netten Menschen. Die Atmosphäre ist besonders und die Umgebung einfach traumhaft. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Danke für den schönen Abend! Tisch 5

Das Toscanino überzeugt mit hervorragendem Essen, frischen Zutaten und einer authentischen Atmosphäre. Der Service ist freundlich, aufmerksam und man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt gigantisch auf unseren nächsten Besuch bei euch. Gestern waren wir zum ersten Mal im Toscanino und wir sind hin und weg. Vom freundlichen Telefonat beim Reservieren zur sympatischen Begrüßung am Eingang - der erste Eindruck war gesetzt, hier gefällt es uns. Der Außenbereich ist stilvoll gestaltet und da noch nicht viel los war, durften wir sogar eure bezaubernde Hündin Mokka begrüßen. Schon nach den ersten Minuten bei euch war uns klar, hier herrscht die Herzlichkeit und Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre wie an Mamas Esstisch, dafür habt ihr beiden mit jeder Interaktion gesorgt. Das die Küche erster Klasse war hat unseren Besuch gar perfekt gemacht. Die Crostini toll ausgewählt, das Gemüse perfekt gegart, in die Bärlauchpasta hätte ich mich reinlegen können und euer Tiramisu? Das mit Abstand Beste, das ich bei uns in der Gegend probieren durfte - alle Achtung liebe Pia. Auch euer Dessertwein war eine Köstlichkeit für sich, danke für die tolle Beratung lieber Uwe. Heutzutage passiert es selten, dass die Gastronomie einen herausragenden Service, großartiges essen und eine wunderschöne Location gleichzeitig bietet - entsprechend habt ihr uns gestern wirklich umgehauen. Danke für das gelungene Dinner und bis bald!

Leider haben wir diese tolle Trattoria erst am letzten Abend unseres Aufenthaltes entdeckt. Beim nächsten Besuch in Bamberg (der nur eine Frage der Zeit ist) kommen wir häufiger her.

Wunderschönes Restaurant mit sehr gemütlicher Atmosphäre, voll liebem Empfang vom Pia und Uwe, den Restaurant-Inhabern, zuvorkommender Service, hervorragende Wein-und Grappaauswahl…., wunderbares Essen ( Pia ist eine Klasse Köchin) mit ausgefallener Vorspeise, den besten Spaghetti Knoblauch/Pepperoni ever und einer tollen Fischfilet-Platte….die Fotos der Spaghetti und Fischfiletplatte sind von einer halben Portion. Wir bekamen’s auf 2 Teller aufgeteilt, da wir Beides essen wollten…. Preis-Leistung perfekt….Wunderbar…👍waren das erste, aber bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal hier, obwohl wir 300km entfernt wohnen….Nur zu empfehlen …. Danke für den gourmetmäßigen Abend bei lieben Menschen….

Wir sind zu zweit spontan ohne Reservierung ins Restaurant gegangen, wurden sehr herzlich und persönlich empfangen. Wir hatten Glück und bekamen noch einen Tisch… das Essen war hervorragend, Wein ebenso und die allgemeine Stimmung im Restaurant war, wie es sein muss… zufriedene Menschen, die sich freuen, gut zu essen und zusammen zu sein… Danke für den Abend!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal hier, hatten für drei reserviert und waren dann spontan aber zu fünft. War vor Ort glücklicherweise kein Problem, vielen Dank dafür 🙏. Das Ambiente ist elegant-gemütlich, der Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und die Speisekarte hält für jeden Geschmack etwas bereit. Alles wird frisch zubereitet und die Nudeln sahen selbstgemacht aus. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Einen ganz schönen Abend dort verbracht. Sehr gutes Essen, Vorspeise sowie Hauptgang. Kurzfristig hat man uns einen Platz angeboten. Beide Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlte sich wohl. Das man noch persönlich verabschiedet wird, empfanden wir als sehr sehr nett. Das Restaurant ist absolut eine Empfehlung für alle, die die italienische Küche und tolle Weine lieben.

Super lecker! Italienischer geht nicht!

Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal in diesem wunderbaren Restaurant – und schon das Telefonat vorab hat uns absolut positiv überrascht. Obwohl das Restaurant ausgebucht war, hat sich der Gastgeber unglaublich bemüht, noch einen Tisch für uns möglich zu machen. Allein diese Herzlichkeit und Sympathie am Telefon waren außergewöhnlich. Vor Ort wurden wir dann nicht enttäuscht – im Gegenteil: Wir wurden äußerst herzlich empfangen und haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wohlgefühlt. Die Küche war exzellent und auf höchstem Niveau, jedes Gericht ein Genuss. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns jedoch die gelebte Gastgeberkultur. Der Besitzer nimmt sich persönlich Zeit für seine Gäste, ist aufmerksam, freundlich und strahlt eine ehrliche Herzlichkeit aus, die man heute nur noch selten erlebt. Auch seine Frau, die mit ihren hervorragenden Kochkünsten die Küche bereichert, durften wir kennenlernen – was den Abend noch persönlicher gemacht hat. Man spürt, dass hier Service, Qualität und das Wohl der Gäste an erster Stelle stehen. Die Atmosphäre ist familiär, stilvoll und zugleich etwas ganz Besonderes, mit einem Flair, das man so kaum irgendwo findet. Zum Abschied wurden wir sogar bis nach draußen begleitet – eine Geste, die perfekt zu diesem rundum besonderen Erlebnis passt. Wir sind absolut begeistert und werden definitiv wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diesen unvergesslichen Abend!

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier überhaupt nicht. Für ein paar Nudeln mit Kabeljau und 6 Salatblättern als Garnierung sind 32 € einfach zu viel. Das Essen hatte keinen Pfiff. Zu langweilig.

Ein gemütliches Restaurant mit einer freundlichen und engagierten Kellnerin. Doch das Essen war für den sehr gehobenen Preis nicht besonders lecker und auch nicht reichlich genug. Ich musste zum ersten mal das beiliegende Baguette zum satt werden essen. Die Soße vom Saltimboca war sehr gileeartig und meine Scampi Spaghetti wurden wohl etwas zu sehr angebraten, sodass man einen leichten verbrannten Geschmack wahr nehmen konnte. Leider würden wir kein zweites mal dort essen,da die Preisleistung für uns persönlich einfach nicht gepasst hat.

Dies ist ein freundliches, gemütliches und wirklich köstliches italienisches Restaurant. Alle Antipasti-Zutaten waren frisch. Das Steak, ich glaube, es war Rumpsteak, hätte leicht zäh sein können, war aber unglaublich zart und geschmackvoll. Die Sauce und die Gnocchi waren ebenfalls köstlich. Es war das beste Rumpsteak, das ich je in Deutschland gegessen habe. Das Seeteufelgericht und die Ravioli waren auch köstlich. Der Seeteufel war wunderbar bissfest und eignete sich perfekt als Quiche. Die Ravioli waren etwas fad, aber der Seeteufel war gut gewürzt, was eine perfekte Balance ergab. Ich persönlich fand die Trüffelpasta etwas zu intensiv, vielleicht lag es an der Weißweinsauce? Geschmack und Aroma waren im Vergleich zum Trüffel zu dominant, was schade war. Dies ist das beste Restaurant in Bamberg.

Das Toscanino überzeugt durch eine absolut authentische italienische Küche mit einer super Qualität. Der Service ist stets präsent und aufmerksam und der Chef überzeugt mit seinen Weinkenntnissen.

Wir haben uns im Toscanino rundum wohlgefühlt! Schon bei der Reservierung war alles unglaublich herzlich – und genauso wurden wir später auch empfangen. Der Chef begrüßt einen persönlich am Tisch, das ist heute selten und macht den Besuch noch besonderer. Der empfohlene Rotwein war überragend, und das Essen einfach grandios: Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Dessert jeder einzelne Gang ein Volltreffer. Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Abend. Wer italienische Küche auf höchstem Niveau erleben möchte, sollte hier unbedingt vorbeischauen. Ein echtes Stück Italien mitten in Bamberg! 🇮🇹🍷

Das Essen war wieder sehr lecker. Der Inhaber begrüßt einen noch persönlich. Die Bedienungen sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Freundlichkeit und Service wird hier noch groß geschrieben. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr gut. Leider hatte ich noch keine Gelegenheit draußen zu sitzen. Innen ist es aber sehr schön und die Tische sind gut gestellt.

I was invited to a birthday party at this restaurant over the weekend and I'm still absolutely thrilled! The food was truly excellent. There were a variety of dishes, all freshly prepared and served table-by-table. The ravioli with their various fillings was particularly amazing. The service was also absolutely top-notch – very attentive and friendly waiters and waitresses. The owner also introduced the wines and the staff, which gave the whole experience a wonderfully informal yet sophisticated atmosphere. I once worked in the restaurant industry myself and have rarely experienced such excellent service since then. The ambiance is also very nice and harmonious. I highly recommend eating here. Yes, very good food and a nice atmosphere – even if it's a bit too loud at times. But the prices are completely inflated, and to top it all off, when paying by card, they ask you whether you want a 5, 10, or 15% tip.

Uwe and Pia Köhl always make you feel completely at home. They have turned their deep passion for wine, Lake Garda, and Italy into their profession. You can feel and taste it in every detail. The kitchen impresses with seasonally changing dishes that are pure culinary delights – from crostini to tagliatelle with fresh truffle, finished directly in a Parmesan wheel, to the crispy and light fritto misto, which immediately brings to mind a vacation by the sea. You could almost say that Pia cooks better than many highly acclaimed restaurants – and she does this without much ado, simply with skill, heart, and fine taste. A very nice restaurant, with a pleasant outdoor area and a very friendly host. Unfortunately, there were very long waits for service and food. The food was good and beautifully presented, but the service was very impersonal and extremely overwhelmed. Despite the rain and increasing cold in the evening, we were not allowed to sit inside, even though there was still capacity. Unfortunately, overall, it was only a mediocre experience.

We had our company Christmas party in this restaurant. It was a fantastic evening, from the reception to the service, the food, the host and the entire ambience.

Excellent cuisine and service, space a bit tight

We had a very nice evening for two. The atmosphere at Toscanino is really wonderful. Everything was/is festively decorated and decorated to match the Christmas season. A very nice little restaurant that invites you to linger for a long time. The service was very courteous and always on hand. The food is simply great. Both the starters, the main courses and the desserts tasted simply great. The head of the house takes a lot of time for his guests and goes from table to table and greets his guests. Here and there a relaxed little small talk. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Actually, I shouldn't recommend it at all, as it will probably be even more difficult to get a table. This is one of the few restaurants where you are greeted personally by the chef and are welcome to express your wishes. Relatively small but fine restaurant with excellent cuisine, good service and a nice ambience. I'm not a wine drinker, but it's clear to me that these are wine experts. In summer there is a cozy outdoor area with small table niches, all beautifully laid out. I rarely give 5 stars in all categories, but I'm happy to do so here. We were very satisfied and chose this restaurant as our regular restaurant.

Just wow! An absolute highlight in Bamberg. I think it's the perfect place for an occasion, but also just to let yourself be pampered. Taste experience in every respect. The kitchen definitely has something to offer. Staff super nice - you feel like you're at home, just a great atmosphere. The boss is super personable and very accommodating. Auf der Suche nach einem stilvollen Restaurant fernab des Trubels rundum die sogen. „Sandkerwa“ landeten wir (einen Volltreffer) im Toscanino. Was für ein wunderschönes Fleckchen - davon wünscht man sich mehr, insbesondere wenn man nicht in Bamberg wohnt und die Möglchkeit hat, öfter hierher zu kommen. Das Essen war superlecker und wir haben uns an dem Ambiente und den schönen Details im Garten sehr erfreut! Auch die Gastgeber schafften eine sehr persönliche Atmosphäre und somit werden wir bei unserem nächsten Bambergbesuch auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Das Toscanino ist sicherlich das beste italienische Restaurant, das von nicht-Italiener mit mindestens der gleichen Liebenswürdigkeit wie von selbigen geführt wird. Das Essen ist hervorragend, wechselnde Crostini als Vorspeise, die Filetvariationen, Saltimbocca, Fritto Misto, die Scampi auf Salat, alles ein Gedicht. Die Weinauswahl ist mit Bedacht und Kenntnis zusammengestellt. Die Location ist innen stilvoll eingerichtet, die Aussenanlage versetzt einen grade wenn die letzten Strahlen der untergehenden Sonne den Garten durchflutet weit nach Italien hinein. Parkplätze finde man in der näheren Umgebung ziemlich zuverlässig und abends kostenlos.

Toscanino is certainly the best Italian restaurant run by non-Italians with at least the same friendliness as they are. The food is excellent, changing crostini as starters, the fillet variations, saltimbocca, fritto misto, the scampi on salad, everything is a poem. The wine selection is put together with care and knowledge. The location is stylishly furnished inside, the outdoor area takes you far into Italy, especially when the last rays of the setting sun flood the garden. Parking spaces can be found fairly reliably in the surrounding area and are free in the evenings.

Wieder meinen Geburtstag mit meinem Mann und zwei Freundinnen im Tocanino gefeiert, wieder hervorragend gegessen, toller Service von Erika und Yvonne, freundliche Begrüßung durch Herrn Köhl. Wie letztes Jahr eine Flasche Arneis genossen, unsere Hauptgerichte Lasagne mit Pfifferlingen, 3erlei Ravioli und Kalbsfilet mit Burrata, Papardelle mit Sommertrüffeln waren ein Genuss. Wir hatten einen sehr fröhlichen Abend und bedanken uns für die in jeder Hinsicht erfreuliche Gastfreundschaft.

Absolute recommendation. Delicious food and good quality. Very pleasant terrace.

Gerne sind wir immer wieder mal hier Essen gegangen. Ein schöner Sommerabend machte uns Lust auf ein Abendessen im schattigen Garten. Die erste Kellnerin war sehr freundlich. Wir bestellten Ofengemüse mit Ziegenkäse und Lasagne mir Pfifferlingen, Schinken und Lauchzwiebeln. Unsere Geduld wurde auf die Probe gestellt. Gäste, die deutlich später kamen bekamen bereits ihre Mahlzeit. Nach 50 Minuten Wartezeit wurde ein recht fades Gemüsegericht und eine akzeptable Lasagne mit mikroskopisch kleinen Streifen Schinken serviert. Aufgrund vermehrten Gästeaufkommens sei unser Essen " untergegangen". Zur Ehrenrettung muss ich hinzufügen, dass man mir den mittlerweile warm gewordenen Wein mit kaltem auffüllte. Die Bemerkung einer zweiten Kellnerin, man sei ja schwer zufrieden zustellen, fand ich aber unpassend.

Super delicious food. The outdoor area is a great oasis, the staff and the boss are super nice and very accommodating.

Delicious Italian food! Fine flavors with an eye for quality in terms of food but also wines. Attractive outdoor terrace, owner who comes for a chat and tells you more about the dishes. Which is also nice just outside the hustle and bustle of the center.

Very tasty food, attentive and friendly staff, well-kept ambience with a feel-good atmosphere. Parking is not possible on site, but there is a parking garage nearby.

Excellent food, great quality and taste. Very pleasant atmosphere. The boss was always present and looked after every guest unobtrusively and with absolute attentiveness. Higher prices for this dinner are absolutely reasonable.

Absolute recommendation. Courteous, attentive and competent staff. Fine menu and an extensive wine list that covers all tastes and budgets. The ambience is very attractive and lovingly furnished inside and out. You have to look for parking spaces on the side streets of the residential area or in a nearby parking garage.

We received a very warm welcome and felt very comfortable. I ate a wonderful steak and enjoyed a wonderful bottle of red wine with my wife. My wife had a large mixed salad with everything her heart desired. So all we can say is “keep it up”!!!

Es war wieder hervorragend und wir war wieder sehr zufrieden. Einfach nur zu empfehlen. wir hatten einen tollen Salat und ein sehr gutes Steak mit Nudeln gegessen. Erstklassiger Wein zum Essen was Alles abgerundet hat! Kommen gerne wieder

A classy Italian restaurant in a slightly off-the-beaten-path area. Although I visited without a reservation, I was greeted warmly and the shrimp spaghetti and steak tagliatelli I ordered were both delicious and plentiful. The house wine was good, and the tiramusu and espresso were perfect. I made a better impression by not forgetting to say goodbye even when the hostess, who was busy serving the table by herself, came out.

What a wonderful evening we didn't have with our children and friends with you. We were spoiled by her kitchen with delicious food - every crostino is a visual and culinary highlight - delicious starters and main courses and fine desserts. Thank you also for the perfect and attentive service. The evening will remain a great memory for us and our guests. Seven stars!

The food was quite good, the accompanying wines were very good. The service can be expanded.

It's important to know that there are no pizzas here, that doesn't really bother us as there is a lot else to discover. A reunion is therefore certain. Thank you for the successful culinary evening. Our order was taken ad hoc and the drinks came to the table quickly. After we enjoyed the aperitif, the starter was served. Very tasty bruscetta. For main course we had spagetti a olio and tris of ravioli. Both were excellent, I was particularly impressed by the Tris, I suspect it was filled with truffles. That was a first for me, because mushrooms or truffles are not normally my taste and I tend to avoid them. Der erste Besuch in Bamberg und eine schöne Trattoria durch Zufall gefunden, aber damit hatten wir bei weitem nicht gerechnet… ein wunderschönes und ganz besonderes Ambiente hat uns direkt zu Beginn verzaubert. Ebenso die persönliche Begrüßung von Herrn Köhl und seiner Gattin hat uns sehr gefreut bzw. ist recht selten. Die flambierte in Trüffel Parmesan geschwenkte Tagliatelle, eine der Spezialitäten des Hauses, war jenseits unserer Vorstellungen..sanfter milder Trüffel..unglaublich und das Beste in der Komposition, was wir jemals in Verbindung mit Trüffel gegessen haben! Ein absolutes Muß👌🏻. Die Weine sind aussergewöhnlich und besonders in ihrer Vielfältigkeit, es ist bei einer Flasche bei weitem nicht geblieben an diesem Abend..😀 Alles in allem der Wahnsinn! Köhl, ihr habt neue Fans aus NRW gewonnen, die sich auf das nächste Mal mehr als freuen, eure Leidenschaft in Ästhetik, Liebe zum Detail & großer italienischer Geschmacksexplosion wieder zu erleben! A really good trattoria wine shop. The food was excellent and the service was courteous. The boss takes care of his guests himself and gives delicious wine recommendations.
