Die Terrasse ist ansprechend gestaltet, jedoch entspricht der Geschmack der Pizzen nicht unseren Erwartungen; sie waren zu hart und verbrannt. Im Vergleich dazu sind einige Tiefkühlpizzen geschmacklich überlegen.

Auf einem kurzen Trip in Bamberg haben wir dieses Restaurant kennengelernt und wir müssen sagen, dass wir so einen zuvorkommenden Service noch nie erlebt haben. Herr Scalia hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Mille grazie

Terrasse war Mega,aber leider das Essen nicht. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht.

Der Besitzer ist unfreundlich und schiebt die Schuld für seine eigenen Fehler auf die Angestellten. Die Pizzen sind Pfannenpizzen mit ungesäuertem Teig! (Viel) üppig belegt. Kurz gesagt: eine Enttäuschung. Drinnen möchte man nicht sitzen; die Terrasse am Fluss ist schön, windgeschützt und gemütlich. Empfehlenswert? Nein!

Sehr schöner Ausblick von der Terrasse auf den Fluss. Mit dem Ambiente kommt man sich vor wie in "Klein-Italien". Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Pizza Spezial! Der Eingang ist übrigens nur von der Straße möglich. Auf der Fluss-Seite hängt ein großes Tivoli-Plakat, aber es gibt keinen Eingang.

Sehr laute Umgebung. Wir haben länger auf das Essen gewartet als dass wir gegessen haben. Essen war auch nichts besonderes. Nicht zu empfehlen!!

Unterdurchschnittliche Essen bei gleichzeitigem schlechten Service. Es waren 15 Gäste max da und man wartete über 1h aufs Essen. Der Ausblick auf der Terrasse ist sehr schön, Rest zum Vergessen. Da gibt es haufenweise bessere Adressen in Bamberg

Wir hatten bereits vor mehreren Monaten einen Tisch für 11 Personen reserviert und dabei ausdrücklich erwähnt, dass es sich um eine Hochzeitsfeier handelt. Zwei Tage vor dem Termin haben wir nochmals telefonisch nachgefragt, ob die Reservierung wie geplant besteht, was uns bestätigt wurde. Als wir schließlich ankamen, war jedoch nichts vorbereitet. Die Tische waren weder zusammengestellt noch eingedeckt - die Tische mussten wir selber stellen. Gerade bei einer lange im Voraus angekündigten Hochzeitsgesellschaft hätten wir hier etwas mehr Vorbereitung erwartet. Die Getränkebestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen. Die Essensbestellung erfolgte erst, nachdem die Getränke nach etwa 20 Minuten serviert wurden. Die Vorspeisen kamen zwar gemeinsam an den Tisch, allerdings zunächst ohne Besteck, das wir erst auf Nachfrage erhielten. Die Hauptgerichte wurden anschließend mit deutlicher Verzögerung serviert und leider nicht gleichzeitig. Stattdessen kamen die Speisen nach und nach an den Tisch, sodass die ersten Gäste bereits fast fertig gegessen hatten, bevor die letzten ihr Essen erhielten. Für eine gemeinsame Feier empfanden wir das als sehr unglücklich. Zudem waren 3 von 11 Gerichten nicht wie bestellt. Bei zwei der falsch servierten Speisen haben wir auf eine Reklamation verzichtet, um weitere Wartezeiten zu vermeiden. Das Tiramisu konnte leider niemanden in unserer Gruppe überzeugen. Auch die ungewöhnlich gelbe Farbe wirkte auf uns eher fragwürdig. Insgesamt würden wir das Essen als durchschnittlich bewerten. Der Service war aus unserer Sicht leider deutlich verbesserungswürdig, insbesondere im Hinblick auf die Vorbereitung und Betreuung einer größeren, lange angekündigten Gesellschaft. Positiv hervorzuheben ist hingegen das schöne Ambiente. Dennoch hätten wir uns für eine Hochzeitsfeier etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit, Organisation und eine festlichere Gestaltung des Tisches gewünscht.

Wir gehen oft und gerne Essen, aber dieses kleine Lokal ist eine Perle. Man fühlt sich wie im Urlaub. Tolles Ambiente - das Essen war erste Klasse und nicht o8/15. Die Fisch -Grillplatte ein Traum. Preislich ok - das Qualität top. Immer wieder gerne.....

Das Essen war geschmacklich in Ordnung. Ich hatte Spaghetti Carbonara, mein Mann die Pizza Verdure. Die erste Pizza kam mit einer Paprika mit Preisschild. Sorry, aber geht gar nicht. Anstatt einer Entschuldigung kam die Frage "soll ich eine neue machen?". Äh hallo? Als diese dann kam, wurde sich zumindest entschuldigt, aber ich hätte ein bisschen mehr erwartet. Zusätzlich dazu war alles ziemlich abgerockt und die Tischdecken fleckig und löchrig. Sauberkeit hat leider keinen hohen Stellenwert. Ich bin mehr als froh,dass ich nicht in die Küche schauen konnte. Der Rest hat mir schon gereicht. Ich kann die guten Bewertungen hier nur auf das Ambiente im Biergarten zurück führen, da man direkt auf den Fluss schaut. Aber alles andere...Einmal und nie wieder.

Das ist die teuerste Pizza, die ich je gegessen habe und trotzdem genauso lecker wie eine Tiefkühlpizza. Die Calzone schmeckt wie aus dem Supermarkt aus der Prebake Abteilung. Die Pasta Carbonara schmeckt schlechter als jede Pasta, welche ich zu Hause selbst mache. Und der Schlemmerblock wurde einfach abgelehnt, das heißt wir mussten den vollen Preis zahlen, der eh schon DEUTLICH teurer ist als bei allen anderen guten und DEUTLICH besseren Restaurants. Die Pizza ist unfassbar klein für satte 14 EURO, was woanders eine doppelt bis dreifach so große Familienpizza wäre, welche auch noch doppelt bis dreifach so gut schmeckt. Selbst wenn der Schlemmerblock gehen würde, ist dieses Restaurant einfach nur Diebstahl...

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Essen hervorragend. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, auch mit unserem Hund (Karotten forever). Gerne wieder!

Das ging heute wohl etwas in die Hose. Wir waren heute dort zum Mittagessen. Ambiente im Hinterhof super schön. Stühle aber definitiv nichts für beleibtere Personen. Wir mussten wirklich extrem lange warten, bis uns jemand die Karte brachte. Weitere 20 Minuten später wurde die Bestellung aufgenommen. Dann kamen nach weiteren 20 Minuten die Getränke. Wir saßen schon eine Stunde im Lokal, als die Vorspeisen kamen. Und nochmal eine Weile bis der Hauptgang dann kam. Dabei war eine Pizza falsch. Es waren Zutaten drauf, die nicht auf der Karte standen. Bei Nachfrage hieß es: ja manchmal macht er so noch was mit drauf. Was soll denn das? Ich möchte was ich bestelle und leine Laune des Kochs. Diese Pizza mussten wir am Ende nicht zahlen. Die Nudelgerichte waren dagegen aber wirklich lecker.

Wieder unter neuer/alter traditionellen Führung! Der Service war ausgesprochen gut und aufmerksam, man hat sich von Anfang bis Ende hervorragend um uns gekümmert (Dank an Renate). Die Speisekarte ist wieder reichhaltig an italienischen Speisen und bietet eine tolle Auswahl für jeden Geschmack – Hier wird wirklich jeder fündig. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Leckeres Essen, große Portionen, günstig, guter Service!

Sehr gutes Essen, perfekt angerichtet, Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam. Auffallend: die Gläser kamen aus der Spüle und wurden einzeln nachgetrocknet und gegen das Licht gehalten, um Wasserflecken zu sehen. Eine unserer Gruppe schaffte die Portion nur zur Hälfte. Es wurde sofort nachgefragt, ob etwas nicht in Ordnung sei

Finalmente! Zurück unter "alter, neuer" italienischer Führung! Essen so gut wie früher (Filetto perfetto....) , Portionen auch wie früher, nur etwas teurer als früher, aber immer noch im Rahmen. Wir freuen uns und kommen nun wieder gerne öfter.

Sehr großzügige Portionen, das Highlight war für mich die Jakobsmuschel mit Käse! 🤌 💚🤍❤️

Nettes Restaurant. Vor allem preislich ist es im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants total preiswert. Super viel Auswahl und super leckere Gerichte. Leider gilt der Schlemmer Block nicht mehr, es hat wohl der Besitzer gewechselt. Was total aufmerksam war, der Besitzer hat uns dann ein Bruscetta geschenkt. Das war unser Highlight, super lecker! Nette Adresse, wenn man mediterran essen gehen möchte.

Wir hatten das Restaurant noch als sehr lecker in Erinnerung, deswegen hatten wir uns gefreut, als es im schlemmerkatalog war. Leider hat wohl der Pächter gewechselt, weswegen der Gutschein nicht gültig war. Zudem war das Essen geschmacklos, egal ob Pizza pasta oder schnitzel. Die Getränke waren auch sehr verwässert. Die Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich, und hat während des Abends nicht einmal gelächelt. Preis Leistung ist unterirdisch.... Zudem waren die Toiletten nicht beheizt, und daneben viele Zigaretten, weswegen es dort auch gestunken hat. Wir kommen nichtmehr, und haben das gleiche auch von anderen an dem Abend gehört.

Achtung, Schlemmerblock ist aufgrund von neuem Besitzer nicht mehr einlösbar. Die Pizza war leider auch sehr unterdurchschnittlich. Jede Tiefkühlpizza kann das besser.

Alter Besitzer hat wieder übernommen 😄 lecker. Hatte Restaurantpass der aber nicht gültig war da ehemaliger Verpächter das wollte und aktueller Besitzer nicht mehr. Aber sind geblieben und positiv überrascht worden von Essen und einfach guter Service.

Freundlicher Empfang und gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

We arrived here today with our baby around lunchtime, and we got a table right away. Unfortunately, we weren't offered a highchair; we later saw it was tucked away in a corner, covered in jackets. Yes, it took a while at our table, and also at dessert, for the empty glasses of the people before us to be cleared. Yes, the service was a bit sluggish considering there were only 8-10 people there, although most had already received their food. Well, the casserole and ravioli were good, and the price was perfectly reasonable.

Excessively long wait. Appetizers okay. Main courses really bad. Wrong pasta. Side dishes not listed on the pizza. Hair on almost every dish. Clogged toilet. Absolutely indescribable.

There were four of us there today, and we were really hungry – unfortunately, we were completely disappointed. The appetizer was okay, but nothing special; you could easily make something like that at home. The wait was long, and the house wine was awful. Especially bad: there was hair in three of the dishes. Two of the dishes also didn't arrive as we ordered them. The food was only mediocre overall; the pasta dish was watery, and we wondered if it had been frozen beforehand. The restrooms were also in a very unhygienic state. Having to pay for such an experience is truly embarrassing. Unfortunately, we absolutely cannot recommend this place – a simple kebab would have been a better choice.

Disaster! Hair in the food, very watery, very long wait. The cannelloni we ordered were actually tortellini and were sold to us as cannoli when we asked about it!?

Unfortunately, everything takes a very long time; you really have to wait forever, and they no longer accept the discount booklet. It's a shame, because the food is good, but the spritzers aren't.

We went here for pizza, and it was excellent! Very tasty, generous toppings, and they were happy to accommodate special requests! The interior is a bit bland, but the view of the water is unbeatable in the summer. All in all, highly recommended, especially considering the price. We'll be back!

We discovered this small, fine restaurant last night. We're from North Rhine-Westphalia and were out for a stroll in Bamberg. The restaurant has a beautiful, covered garden area (trattoria) overlooking the canal. We sat there in a quiet, peaceful, and cozy atmosphere and let ourselves be pampered. My tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms was just as fantastic as my husband's saltimbocca. It was a pleasure to stop here. We'll definitely be back and recommend this gem! We also really liked the understated but professional manner of the young service staff. It made the experience perfect. The price-performance ratio is right here, and the other guests were also very pleasant.

Hello, I ordered a large and a medium margarita pizza. Both pizzas we received were exactly the same, including the diameter. Despite complaining, the waiter claimed it was a large and a small one and charged us the same. I think that's a disgrace. The waiter was new there. It used to be better.

Cozy little garden right on the water in Bamberg

If this is Italian cuisine, then from now on I'll just read my recipes off the back of a soup packet. The "Carbonara" with cream and cooked ham had about as much to do with Italy as a frozen pizza has to do with Naples. The other dishes also seemed unloving and interchangeable in taste – certainly not what you would imagine Italian cuisine to be. Plus, the prices were like those at a Michelin-starred restaurant, but the quality tasted more like a discount store. And yes, we did wait forever – but honestly, not even a minute would have been too long for something like that. If you keep going like this, you shouldn't be surprised if customers stop coming at some point.

The food was good, but we had to wait a long time for the main course. A valid gourmet voucher (December 1, 2026) was not honored due to a change of tenant, which is a shame.

It's a shame that we couldn't try many of the chef's offerings, but we visited on a Sunday when the shops are closed. Anyway, it's a fun, authentic place with a view of the Main River. Prices are reasonable.

We were looking forward to a lovely evening, but what we experienced was a disaster. We had a table in the garden at 6:00 p.m., which was only half full. After we were assigned our table, it took about 20 minutes to get our menus and choose our drinks. After another 20 minutes, we were able to order our drinks, which then took another 30 minutes to arrive. We then immediately ordered our chosen dishes. Bruschetta and chef's salad, as well as two pizzas. In the meantime, one drink was already empty, and ordering a new one took another 25 minutes, just by asking. The bruschetta appetizer arrived after about 25 minutes. Then came the chef's salad and a pizza, which also took a while. I had already finished the pizza, and my wife's pizza still wasn't there. It then started to rain very heavily, causing water to drip through the awning in some places. Some people then changed tables and went to a shelter. But what then happened to us and the guests still in the garden was a catastrophe. Suddenly, a rat ran between the tables into a hiding place. Many guests also saw the rat. Oh, and my wife's pizza still wasn't there. I then informed the "boss" that there was a rat there and that she had seen it. She literally said to me, "The rat is just looking for shelter from the rain." I thought my wife and I had lost our faith! We then asked where the pizza was. The waitress looked at me wide-eyed and said, "Don't you have any yet?" We immediately asked for the bill and canceled the pizza my wife had ordered. This was our first time at this restaurant, and it was 1000% certain to be the last time!!! Absolutely unprofessional staff who can't seem to get anything done. What does staff like that do when the place is full? Our lovely evening was ruined. Never again at Restaurant Tivoli!!!

Sehr schlechtes überteuertes Essen. Angeblich ein italienisches Restaurant, aber der Koch scheint null Ahnung von italienischen Gerichten zu haben. Lieblos, pampige Soßen, keine Gewürze am Tisch - ich musste der Kellnerin lange erklären,was Salz(!) ,Balsamicoessig und Olivenöl sind. Es kam dann eine fast leere Flasche auf den Tisch,fettig ..., direkt aus der Küche. Alo Tivolie meiden, wenn ihr gut essen. Aber die Location wunderschön (Garten)

We were here for the first time today with the new owner. Absolutely delicious food, beautiful view of the canal, and very friendly service.

A small oasis in bustling Bamberg. It's inconspicuous, nestled in a small side street, but the courtyard with a direct view of the river is truly beautiful. You can sit under shady vines, but there's even a small covered area. Our pasta was truly delicious and good value for money, although the salmon and shrimp filled pasta seemed more focused on quality than quantity. Highly recommended nonetheless; I'd be happy to come back!

Don't eat there! This place used to be a delightful buzzing restaurant with delicious food. Has changed ownership, and now food is very poor and service too. We wanted to celebrate a birthday there but were terribly disappointed. We should have picked up that there was a problem as there were no other customers. It's such a shame.

Went on the boats today and ordered pizzas for €100. Given the good location, I expect better food, especially in Bamberg. The pizza tasted like crispbread, the spaghetti was also lower middle class. Would I order there again? No!

Somehow the waiter was rarely there, even though only three tables were occupied. The atmosphere has changed for a year or so. I felt like I had unexpectedly arrived at someone's home. Definitely delicious food.

The restaurant has a very nice outdoor terrace and the food is excellent with a really fair price-performance ratio.

Food good, service friendly and fast, the ambience is not that great, could use a new coat of paint.

Unfortunately, the quality has suffered greatly since the change of ownership. We always loved going to the Tivoli when we were in Bamberg, but unfortunately that is now history. Ordered tagliatelle in Gorgonzola, unfortunately you couldn't taste any of the Gorgonzola, the pasta was very watered down. Last but not least, the food was also incorrectly calculated. A discount was granted for the tagliatelle, but all in all it was the last visit. The tablecloths are turned upside down so that the stains are hidden, the table runners only cover the stains left by the previous ones and the tablecloths hang dirty and crooked from the tables. Sorry, we're used to something different, especially when we pay just under €60 for three people. Unfortunately not a good picture for the location and price range. Unfortunately, the women's toilet is also underwhelming. Urgent need for cleaning!

We recently went to this pizzeria and absolutely loved it! The waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the evening particularly enjoyable. The pizzas and pasta were excellent – ​​freshly prepared and tasted great! Particularly noteworthy is the wine, which went perfectly with our meal. We will definitely come back and can only recommend this restaurant!

We didn't want to believe the bad comments, but since the new tenant we really can't recommend it anymore! The food is completely tasteless. The stuffed fiocchi with pears are without pears and of course not homemade. I don't even want to start with the service. Never experienced such incompetent and unfriendly service. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else!

I ate a real "spaghetti carbonara" here for the first time. Simply great, very tasty. Staff and service, polite, nice and funny. I would be happy to do it again on my next visit to Bamberg.

The place is really nice, with a direct view to the river and in a nice yard, with grape leaves above our heads. The food was not very qualitative though. But the service was funny, it had something interesting to provide to our afternoon experience, we laughed and enjoyed the interaction.

The Tivoli is always worth recommending. We have never been disappointed. The food, service and ambience (especially in the beautiful garden) are simply great.

My sister is on a diet and we specifically asked for a small portion, the waiter said that would be possible. After we had to wait, a very large portion arrived and we “could pack the rest”. The neighboring table came later and was already on the second course and ours was missing the bruschetta that the other table had already had as a starter. With the salad there was again vinegar and oil and bread, which was unfortunately very disappointing. Pizza and pasta were good. View outside was nice.

We came to the Tivoli on Friday evening 30 minutes before the kitchen closed and were actually only expecting a limited choice of food. We received a very friendly welcome and were given 2x chicken skewers and 1x grilled lamb skewer. A homemade panacotta for dessert. Everything was super tasty and also something to look at. Christian's incredibly friendly manner made us feel completely at home and it was a wonderful evening for us at the Tivoli. We would like to thank Christian and the chef again for an unforgettable evening and wish you continued satisfied guests. A visit to you is unavoidable at the next opportunity 😍👍 Thank you Peter, Antje and Tatjana 😉

Today we ate with friends in the restaurant for the first time under new management. The restaurant has a beautiful ambience and the view of the river is just beautiful. The service was extremely nice and accommodating. The food tasted really good; The pizzas as well as the pasta dishes were a dream. I am very positively surprised and think that the restaurant under new management is definitely worth a visit! We will definitely be back…

After a long time we were there again for dinner with a group of friends. We gave it another chance under new management. However, I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. The food was extremely good. The salads not only look good, but also taste very, very good. The starters were super tasty. The service was very friendly. The atmosphere - as if we were on vacation :) So we will definitely come back and can highly recommend it. Keep it up!

We were here a year ago, the food was delicious and the service was good. On this visit we asked if we could sit at a table somewhere, the employee replied that everything was reserved, but later it turned out there were a few tables left. But I didn't want to sit in this restaurant anymore because the waiter was rude and nervous.

Small, beautiful restaurant on a terrace right by the water. The food was very tasty. Since we like hearty and spicy food, a salt and pepper shaker might have been missing on the table, but we were still very satisfied! The cellar was really very accommodating 👍

One of the most beautiful ambiences you can find in Bamberg. A total hidden gem 💎, the price-performance ratio is great. Inexpensive, high quality and super tasty. I can recommend it to everyone. The terrace is really great and smoker friendly :) .

The place has a great view and a pleasant terrace. Unfortunately the service is ridiculously slow (1 hour to get food). The food is quite greasy and heavy to digest with meh flavor.

Pizza was extremely tasty. The garden by the river is also very beautiful. Overall a nice stay!

Unfortunately, the service was very unfriendly and simply threw the ashtray and cutlery onto the table... Grill plate was absolutely overpriced for the little meat and it was already cold, salad was carelessly chopped onto the plate without dressing, lasagna and mussels in white wine sauce were apparently not available Even though it was on the menu and at the very last moment, the remaining money was thrown over the table... What a shame... The ambience and the view don't take it away!
