Huge portions of pasta at cheap prices and delicious Bavarian beer. Lots of options for vegans and vegetarians. Cozy vibes and friendly service. Funny mannequins at the entrance.

Great service. However, you can barely taste what the pasta was made with. For example, the chicken pasta had three small pieces of chicken in it, while the spinach pasta only had a little spinach sprinkled on the surface. So, unfortunately, it will remain a tourist restaurant. What a shame.

For a spaghetteria that claims to embody the Italian lifestyle, we were very disappointed. No good rosé; almost every winery offers better quality for €6 a bottle. There was no response to our criticism, so we ordered water instead. The portion of pasta with Gorgonzola that we ordered did not deserve the owner's claim to serve the best pasta in town. We did not get fresh, let alone homemade pasta. The Gorgonzola sauce tasted sour. The lasagna that we ordered had more pasta on top than cheese. The casserole dish was 1/4 full with tomato sauce. No, we did not like it. The friendly waitress only brought us the total amount on her tablet and was surprised that we wanted a written receipt. She explained to us that she had to charge us for the wine, which we did not like, as it had been recorded in the cash register. Whether or not the food was tasty was not important to her. We did not ask for a discount; we were literally stuffed. Absolutely not recommended.

We were there on May 19, 2024, and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant itself doesn't look particularly special. The service was good. We had Spaghetti Veganese and Aglio Oglio Peperoncino. Both were very good, but Aglio Oglio could have used more pepperoncino. We've never seen anyone make it with green pepperoncino before. Another thing to say is that the portions were very large, and we were really full afterward. We'll probably come back, and maybe there will be more vegan dishes by then.

The food was really not good. Lasagna was most likely frozen and simply warmed up as it was ready after 10 minutes. My girlfriend had to vomit after her spaghetti in the hotel. Paid €30 and got the worst of the bad. The waiter was very nice and the restaurant looked ok too, nothing special.

The pasta dishes on offer are simply loveless. In principle it is system catering. There are 5 pasta variants for which 15 different sauces can be selected. Every Asian noodle box is more interesting and loving. The service lady, apparently there was only one person there, tried very hard to create a pleasant atmosphere despite her work pressure.

I had spaghetti with gorgonzola sauce, spinach and feta cheese. I really liked it and the portion was okay too. Luckily the area wasn't as crowded as it usually is in the old town. So for me it's more pleasant.

The food here has never been special, my daughter always wanted to come here. Today, however, it was absolutely tasteless, there were literally zero spices on the bolognese. If you're already on vacation with one foot, you shouldn't cook anymore. The waitress already knew why she didn't ask if it was tasty...

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! Absolute impudence to sell something like that. Completely overpriced and the food tastes like absolutely nothing, shame on you.

We had arrabiata and lasange to take away. The food is very bland, the portions were quite small. I really fell for it as a tourist with my group of friends. The men's toilet is also in an unpleasant condition. There is as much Parmesan as you want to open yourself.

We sat outside, so I can't comment on the ambience inside. Outside it is very simple (formica tables without table or placecloth or set), wooden chairs without cushions... The service was OK and friendly. Unfortunately, the risotti with saffron and scampi we ordered (after all, the most expensive dish on the menu) has nothing to do with risotto! It was rice with a little oil, saffron and MINI prawns... far from scampi.... so nothing "stuffy" like a risotto should be... I complained about this and the exact same version came again on the table, just made it hot again... so please google "risotto" again. I can't say anything about the noodles, maybe they are better...

Quite okay, but nothing more. I expect a lot more from a pasta sauce specialist. I had a fresh tomato sauce. Honest? With many fast Italian dishes, it tastes better and doesn't swim in oil.

I get my lunch for work here at least once a week and I have to say that I am 101% satisfied. Great value for money, always super fresh, always super tasty and very, very nice service. I can only recommend it!!

Nettes einfaches - mich persönlich ansprechendes - italienisches Lokal in guter Innenstadtlage mit recht ordentlichem Speisenangebot zu einem angemessenen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und dazu passendem schlichtem Ambiente. Mit freundlicher aufmerksamer Bedienung.

Ich war nicht zu Frieden. Weil wir haben bissl lange gewartet und die Bedienung hat uns gesehen aber trotzdem hat nicht sofort gekommen, oder hat noch bissl gedauert obwohl war nur 2 leute im Restaurant.

Die bestellten Gerichte waren sehr gut, die Portionen groß.

Spicy risotto has actual spiciness(finally!). Also the pasta was great. Reasonable price and huge meal. 테라스 뷰 나쁘지 않음. 곁들여먹는 치즈랑 파스타 리조또 다 좋았고 가성비도 훌륭함.

Am wohl letzten Spätsommertag des Jahres noch bis 22.00 Uhr im Außenbereich gesessen. Essen war gut, insgesamt gemütliches Ambiente.

Uns hat die Lage und das Ambiente des Restaurants in der Bamberger Innenstadt angesprochen. Auf der Karte gibt es eine gute Auswahl an verschiedenen (auch vegetarischen) Spaghetti-Gerichten. Meine Begleitung hatte die Spaghetti mit einer tomatigen Sauce und mediterranem Gemüse bestellt, und das war ganz lecker. Ich selbst hatte die Spaghetti Carbonara bestellt, und die hatten leider relativ wenig mit einer echten italienischen Carbonara zu tun - die würde ich nicht mehr bestellen. Die Portionen sind sehr groß.

Keine gute Außenbeleuchtung. Geschirr könnte sauberer sein. Service lässt zu wünschen übrig

After 4 months of living and trying different foods. I have found the best one in the town, Spaghetteria Orlando. The food was finger licking tasty. Staff was co-operative and the cook really know what he has cooked. Those who want to try something else than German food must try this. Super! 👍🇩🇪

An sich ein nettes Restaurant und auch große Auswahl an Pasta, leider war mein Gericht (Gallina: Currysahnesauce mit Hähnchenbrust, Paprika und Lauch) etwas dürftig...3 kleine Hähnchenstreifen und auch von der Portionsgröße eher wenig für 11,80€.

My wife and I ate at this restaurant on October 5th 2023. The service was pleasant and reasonably efficient but the quality of the pasta was dreadful. I had Spaghetti Bolognese which was ok, but was simply a serving of tomato-based mince on top of a plate of spaghetti. Not very presentable. My wife had a pasta primavera which was quite possibly the worst plate of pasta either of us have ever eaten. It was described as a pasta with mushrooms and peas and some ham. There were two thin pieces of uncooked mushroom and a few peas in the dish. The only flavour was of unpleasant cream, as the restaurant seems to put cream in EVERY pasta dish, as per the menu. My wife ate about a third (we were both very hungry). Though I told the server that the dish was dreadful, he would not reduce the bill, saying 'she ate half of it'! Luckily, it's unlikely we will ever visit Bamberg again, but if we did, we would give SPAGHETTERIA ORLANDO a wide berth. AVOID!

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Die Auswahl an Gerichten war vielfältig. Ein Konzept, das ich so davor auch noch nicht kannte war die "Pasta-Party" ("All you can eat"). Das war auf jeden Fall mal etwas Neues. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker und das Personal sowie der Chef (- ich glaube es war der Chef??? - ) waren sehr freundlich. Nur beim letzten Nachfüllen waren die Rigatoni nicht ganz durch. Da kann man aber auch keinen Vorwurf machen, da es kurz vor Ladenschluss war und einer der Kellner so nett war für seine ausgefallenen Kollegen für volle 10 Stunden einzuspringen. Ich persönlich finde, dass sowas auch viel über den kollegialen Zusammenhalt und den Arbeitgeber aussagen kann. So lange springt man definitiv nicht für jeden Chef ein. Fand ich sehr nett von ihm und ich hoffe, dass er sich dafür heute etwas ausruhen kann. Kurzgefasst: Essen sehr gut. Personal freundlich. Gerne wieder!

Einfache Einrichtung Essen so Lala Waren nach 4 Jahren wieder im Bamberg und hier 2x zum Essen Das erste Mal war i O. Beim zweitem Mal kaum genießbar. Nachfrage bei der Kellnerin ergab,daß jeden Tag ein anderer Koch da ist. Also besser vorher fragen,ob ein Koch da ist,der dass Kochen auch leidlich beherrscht.

Getränke etwas überteuert und nur 0,4 statt 0,5 l. Spaghettisoße sehr sahnehaltig.

Wir waren echt überrascht. Tolle Vorspeise, tolle Spaghetti und prima Service. Unser Highlight bei unserem 5-tägigen Bamberg-Besuch. Danke an das Team vom Orlando für diesen schönen Abend. Bei unserem nächsten Bamberg-Besuch kommen wir ganz sicher wieder zu euch.

Wir haben hier 3 verschiedene Pastagerichte probiert und sie alle haben überzeugt! Sowohl geschmacklich als auch vom Preis her top! Es gibt zahlreiche vegane und vegetarische Optionen. Unsere Kellnerin war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich! Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen!

Gutes Essen und Trinken zu angemessenen Preisen. Der Service ist freundlich.

Absolut leckere Pasta. Die Bedienung ist Super und Preis/Leistung ist genial. Sehr gerne und jederzeit wieder. Wir hatten einen Abend mit 16 Leuten und 3 Kleinkindern und es hat alles perfekt Funktioniert 👍

Orlando war vor ein paar Jahren sehr fein. Besonders die Antipastis! Hervorragend. Leider heute nicht mehr. Da gab es mal Hühnchen in Currysoße oder in Rotwein, ganz raffiniert Spinat mit Schafskäse, Karotten auch sehr raffiniert gemacht, das ist leider zum heutigen Angebot nicht vergleichbar. Allerdings gab es damals schon kein echtes Risotto sondern nur Reis mit Gemüse. Ich muss sagen, die Nudelgerichte schmecken schon und es gibt auch noch frisch geriebenen Käse dazu, aber der Preis hat im Verhältnis zu sehr angezogen. Der Nachtisch Panna Cotta ist gut, das Tiramisu zu fett, zu wenig Kaffee und Amaretto. Schade, wenn man sich ein wenig mehr Mühe gäbe, würde dies dem Lokal gut tun. Man bleibt dem Lokal trotzdem treu. Das Flair gegenüber der Uni ist schon nett.

Freundlicher Service, sowohl die Spaghetti, als auch die Lasagne waren sehr lecker. Günstig gelegen etwas abseits der Haupteinkaufsroute.

Gegessen haben wir Spaghetti Veganese. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt und Preis/Leistung ist absolut in Ordnung. Die Portion war sehr üppig, das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Lokal ist angenehm und schön eingerichtet. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit draußen vor dem Lokal zu essen.

I have to say that their food is really great!! I didn't know what to eat and the waiter suggested the Mascarpone zitrone Soße. I was really impressed with the taste so i would suggest trying it out if you visit the place. Also the warm atmosphere and the stuff made our visit very plesant! Definitely recommended:)

Sehr leckeres authentisches essen mit netter Bedienung und gutem Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Empfehlenswert ist das Dinner Menü. Mit pasa ist ne Soßen nach Wahl.

...aber nur die Deko... italienisch wird hier nicht gesprochen aber das Essen, 2 Salatkombinationen, waren gut gelungen, nachdem wir die Spaghettiberge am Nachbartisch gesehen haben. Service super nett aber überfordert, Preis gut, Ambiente schön.

Etwas über eine halbe Stunde auf Pasta warten, ist zu lange. Wir haben kein Gourmetmenue erwartet, aber es war definitiv die schlechteste Pasta, die wir jemals gegessen hatten. Dabei war bei vergangenen Besuchen alles ok. Meine Rigatoni mit Curry- Huhn Soße waren völlig geschmacklos. Die 3 kleinen Stücken Huhn, sollten nicht Namensgeber dieses Gerichts sein.
