The pizza arrived quickly but had hardly any toppings. The crust was thin. Mint was added without asking. When we wanted to sit down and eat, we were told we could only eat if we ordered something to drink. The price posted at the door was for weekdays. Inside, we were told that the prices were different today and on weekends. When I said the price at the door was for water, they reacted angrily. It was unclear whether we were scolded or if we were actually served food.

I only stopped by for coffee at first, but then I stayed longer because I loved the atmosphere and the beautiful fresh roses. Everything was wonderful... The staff were very friendly and caring... Thank you all... Please stay just the way you are... Gracias

Delicious pizza and very friendly service - even on Saturdays at 11 pm!

Located right in the city center, but therefore no parking. However, there's an underground parking garage about a 10-minute walk away. The rooms are located on a very narrow staircase leading to the top floor. This makes it rather inconvenient for people with mobility issues, especially those with luggage. The owner is very friendly, and the food downstairs in the restaurant is excellent. For those planning a longer stay, the other restaurants in the pedestrian zone are easily accessible on foot.

We discovered it by chance and entered on a whim. We were greeted very warmly and with a smile and a "Buona giornata." We were allowed to choose a table. We had spaghetti alla carbonara and lasagna. Both dishes were very tasty and filling. For dessert, I had a latte macchiato and the most delicious tiramisu I've had in years. Simply a dream.

We were looking for a place for lunch. We got a table right away. The food was delicious; we had lasagna and pasta. The service was very friendly. The price-performance ratio was okay. Unfortunately, the boards outside with different (cheaper) prices are a bit misleading. But then we noticed that they offer a kind of business menu during the week. Hence the price difference.

No heating at 7 degrees Celsius, and no armchairs, just wooden chairs. Photos give a different impression than the room itself. No bedside lamp, and the shampoo was empty in the shower. The front door was stuck. The room was very noisy. Pictures weren't hung up. The offered €8 discount seems like a mockery, so I declined it. The other claims you made are defamatory. But if you think it helps to deal with guests and feedback this way, so be it.

Please forgive me for taking photos while I was eating, forgetting to write a review. I ordered a whole pizza, and I was very satisfied with the service of splitting it in half. They even provided garlic sauce and hot sauce later, which made it even more delicious. The smoked beer was also really tasty. It was a new flavor you won't find in other places. I highly recommend it. I was truly impressed by the service here. Thank you. I'm from Korea.

A random find while looking for a place to have lunch in Bamberg. Affordable lunch menu, good pizza and plenty of it, the rigatoni al forno was delicious and, above all, hot... just how I like it. Friendly service, pleasant atmosphere. A recommendation for everyone 👍!!

Review of the pizzeria: The pizza dough and pizza itself were very tasty. The service approach needs to be improved. On our second visit, we were in the middle of a conversation with a waiter when he saw someone he knew and simply left us standing there. We then left.

We arrived on a Saturday evening without a reservation. There were already several people waiting in line for a seat. The service was very friendly during the wait and kept us updated on when a table became available and how long it would take. We only waited about 10 minutes, even though at least 4-5 tables had already been taken by people who had arrived before us. The pizza is a bit more expensive, but it's absolutely worth it. We had a very good, fresh meal.

Avoid this scam!! I agree with others: The restaurant lures people on the nice outdoor area where you can also see the Business lunch menu with lower prices. Even when you enter the restaurant, you have a menu on the table showing the business lunch prices, although it is way past 18:00, therefore hours after the business lunch has finished. They could flip the menu, but they want you to see the better prices first. Another thing is the food. The pizza was dry, chewy, and simply disgusting. Pizza Margarita was supposed to cost 12.10, but they charged me 13.10 without any notice.

We were here for dinner. The pizza was great. Crispy crust, good, generous toppings, and extra chili oil and garlic for extra seasoning. Simply delicious! Highly recommended. The service was also very friendly and attentive.

I had come here with 4 friends and all 5 of us ordered pizzas. We were all students. We waited for 55 minutes just to get it while constantly being told "10 more minutes". Our waiter also decided to be snarky saying "these things take time". It reached a point where 35 minutes in, we paid for our food but still waited. Action was only taken after we threatened to call a supervisor or to get our money back. An elderly German couple who arrived after us recueved their food in 15 minutes yet we had to wait. I believe they were either exploiting the fact that we were students or that we were not native Germans as we primarily communicated in English and Turkish. This is extremely dissapointing and I will not be visting this establishment ever again.

We ate here again for lunch. The lasagna, salad, and cannelloni were all very good. The service was very friendly.

We only ordered a takeaway pizza. We had to wait outside for at least 20 minutes; the eggplants were unfortunately undercooked, and then we paid €16.90 for it. The signs outside said €11.90 in large letters, and then at the top, in small letters, "until 4:30 PM," which was quite misleading. The pizza wasn't worth almost €17 to us. Once, and unfortunately, we won't order it again.

We were there for the restaurant, and we can really recommend the lasagna! One of the best we ever tried. The tagliatelle pollo and the ham penne were also good. The staff is good and everything was quite fast

While visiting from American, our local friends choose this place for dinner while attending the annual Sandkerwa Festival. We were looking for pizza but the menu had other Italian dishes as well. The place feels so welcoming, starting with the owner treating us at the door, welcoming us with a handshake and seating us at our table. He was a ring master during our entire visit and still found time to stop by and genuinely engage our table and welcome the American guests. Servers worked together and were attentive. I highly recommend you try one of the deserts, easily shared if you like. Staff easily spoke English when needed to help us out. There is a hotel here too but they have separate entrances next to each other on the street.

A lovely restaurant for delicious pizza. I would recommend the pizza capresa. Smoked beer from Schlenkerla is also on the menu. I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed a pleasant dinner with a delicious Caprese pizza and a plate of vitello tonnato. The head waiter was very pleasant and attentive. He found us a table outside. By mistake, a couple sat at the reserved table, but we decided to give it up because they were accompanied by a dog. As a thank you, at the end of the meal he treated us to tiramisu and panna cotta for dessert. A very professional gesture, which we appreciate again here, but it wasn't necessary! Offering a good pizza is easy. Offering a great pizza like at Casa Italia, however, requires heart and soul. Molto bene! Baked to perfection, perfect dough, balanced toppings. All at a fair price. The service is professional, super friendly, and child-friendly, something you rarely experience in Germany. I really wouldn't have expected given the touristy environment. A very pleasant experience, buon appetito.

They were the best pizzas we've ever eaten. The dough was professionally made, light, well-baked, and crispy. Everything tasted very fresh: the tomato sauce, the vegetables, and the beer. A very good experience. Only the beer could have tasted better.

Everything very mid We were drawn in by the charming outdoor seating on the street, which is likely what brings in most of their guests. Unfortunately, that’s where the appeal ended. The large “business lunch” menu, prominently displayed, felt a bit misleading—it’s much more noticeable than the regular menu and seems designed to pull people in (and the regular prices are more than 50% more). As for the food and service, everything was just… average. Nothing felt special, and we left disappointed.

I visited Casa Italia for lunch. I ordered an arugula pizza, which was delicious. The second course was a green salad, which was excellent. 😡The biggest problem 😡was the seafood platter with pasta and shrimp. The oysters on the platter were 90% empty, to give the impression that the platter was full of seafood. I spoke to the server about this, even though the platter was delicious. The server tried to apologize and brought two cups of coffee.

Top-notch Italian restaurant. Beautiful location, friendly and fast service, simply delicious food, and totally affordable thanks to the business lunch (Mon-Fri 11:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.). What more could you want? 👌 We only visited the restaurant, not the hotel.

We have visited here upon a suggestion of my friend but we feel so regretful now. We were told to wait for a short time and we accepted. After standing 10 minutes we sit down in a table and after another 10 minutes, a waiter received our order. And after ordering a pizza, we waited for pizza 35 minutes more. Unfortunately, nothing came to our table. When i asked about our pizza, a different waiter wanted to receive my order again but i kindly rejected because of our limited time. The waiter just said ok without expressing any apology and we left the place. They almost wasted our one hour...

I suggest visiting this restaurant. Very ridiculous coffee and pizza.

Very warm and welcoming people, very child-friendly, and our pizzas were exactly what you'd expect: crispy crust, homemade tomato sauce, fresh buffalo mozzarella. The seafood was also delicious. My absolute favourite food place in Bamberg! Greatly located, warm and friendly atmosphere and delicious food. I got to know one of the waitresses, named Kimia, an Iranian lady. She's overly kind, welcoming and helpful with the menu and her friendly behaviour makes me want to keep dining there every time!

I spontaneously visited Casa Italia Bamberg and was not disappointed: Everything was freshly prepared, the pizza was truly delicious, and the spaghetti Bolognese was exactly how you'd want it! The arugula pizza was also a dream, with fresh ingredients and perfect dough. The waiters were all super attentive, and the chef is incredibly friendly; you immediately feel welcome. Sure, it gets busy on weekends (I didn't have a table reservation), but the atmosphere is still cozy, whether inside or outside. Highly recommended! I'll be back again and again; for me, it's one of the best Italian restaurants in Bamberg!

It's delicious, friendly and in a good location. I don't know because I didn't stay there. The pizza, pasta and lasagna all look delicious and tasty.

It is an Italian restaurant, great option to German food. Carbonara and Napoleon are nice and the pasta is not so hard and tasty.

Our hotel room above the restaurant had extremely basic furnishings. Unsatisfactory. No bedside lights, no toothbrush cups. A television hanging at the other end of the room. Online service was available at the corner, and the restaurant was downstairs. It was essentially just an overnight stay, nothing more. While spacious and located right in the heart of the old town, it unfortunately wasn't a pleasant vacation stay.

Located in the Old Town, the food is good, and the lasagna is delicious! We chose the interior because the exterior was quite busy. Friendly and fast service! We recommend it.

The name "Casa Italia" is apt: You feel like you're in an Italian trattoria. The service is friendly, attentive, and fast. The pizza bread is amazing. Wir sind am 4.7.25 um ca 15:30 Uhr zufällig vorbeigekommen, da uns dieses Ambiente „angelacht“ hat, haben wir eine Servicekraft gefragt ob wir draußen für 18:00 Uhr reservieren könnten. Sie meinte wir müssen drinnen fragen, hier sagte uns die Koordinatorin oder sogar die Chefin dass man draußen keine Reservierungen annehme, wir sollen einfach vorbeikommen, evtl. ist oder wird was frei. Als wir dann um 18:00 Uhr kamen, war draußen ein Tisch reserviert ???? Sowas finde ich gehört sich nicht ! Wir sind dann wo anders zum Essen gegangen, sowas unterstützen wir nicht.

Unfortunately, we have to advise against the Aperol Spritz – the glasses are too small, but they're only half full and filled with a lot of ice. If you prefer a wine with your meal, then Casa Italia is highly recommended! The service was very attentive and friendly!

So, folks, we were in Bamberg – on the way out… we should have something to eat. Here in the old town, you'll find plenty of restaurants. Well, we ended up here – the pizza is simply divine. So folks, if you're in the mood for Italian – this is highly recommended.

I'd like to explain the reason for my review. The appetizer came after the main course, and main course number 70 was served without the white wine sauce.

The food was delicious! We had bruschetta, lasagna, and pollo salad. The latter came with a wonderful pizza bread. The service was friendly and attentive; we'd be happy to come back.

Mittagessen, vegetarische Antipasti War nicht gut. Nicht gegrillt, nicht gewürzt. Wollte mit etwas Olivenöl , das auf den Tisch stand,nachwürzen. Das war von der Farbe her fast durchsichtig, vom Geschmack Sonnenblumenöl. Habe nach Olivenöl gefragt,Bedienung meinte das stehe auf dem Tisch.. Nach meiner Anmerkung, daß das wohl billiges Sonnenblumenöl ist, hat sie mir vom Innenraum eine identische Flasche, diesmal mit Olivenöl geholt. Rechnung kam mir sehr teuer vor. Fragte nach einem Ausdruck. Und siehe da , da war ein Bier und eine Saft Schorle mit drauf, die wir weder bestellt noch konsumiert hatten. So kann man es auch machen.. Bei den vielen Touristen, die es in Bamberg gibt, kommt da sicher einiges an „ Extrageld“ zusammen.

Very bad Information in the menu. I have ordered Linguini Gambereti very expensive and comes only 3 Shrimps. When i have asked the waiter about this, He told that it is normal. Also the Taste was not good . Bad service too

Best pizza and lunch deal is quite cheap

We went out to eat with eight people. The pizza was really good, but you can't compare the pasta dishes to the others. Unfortunately, the rigatoni al forno and spaghetti bolognese tasted of nothing; even salt and pepper didn't do much to change that. The place feels really inviting, but you can tell that the target audience is tourists who want to grab a quick bite and then move on. It's a great place to go for pizza, but nothing more.

Monday, May 19th 21.55 hours. Walked 7 blocks to make it to the place with warm kitchen until 23h per their sign in the street. They didn't feel like keeping it open today. They told us they were closing.

we had pizza and salad at this place during our Apr'25 visit to Bavaria region (We did day trip to Bamberg and had early dinner at this place). The food was just awesome. we still remember and miss this place. thank you very much.

Went late at night and had a great dinner with very tasty pizza and pasta and smoked dark beer. All the employees were friendly, and it was nice to see them working happily. It's cost-effective and suits Koreans' tastes well, so I highly recommend it.

We were here for dinner today The condition of a blonde woman with shoulder-long hair was a disaster. She came, we ordered drinks, and she was gone again. It was impossible to ask a question. Then came the drinks Prices for soft drinks quite expensive 0.33 Fanta 4.30€ Kurt didn't have time for a question. We order 2 pizzas and I had to order the salad later because the condition was gone so quickly. When I called the lady again to order the salad, salad mista, she was gone again in no time, there are 3 dressings, I couldn't say that I wanted to dress a yoghurt and she didn't ask afterwards either. So came the salad with basil dressing, I don't like it, my partner then ate it. Salad consisted mostly of cheap iceberg lettuce A small tomato, 2 slices of cucumber and a little bit of onion and a bit of rocket for decoration 0 8 15 hits it...
