Gladly again when you are in Bamberg, but you had to wait a long time for service. Canelloni was super tasty.

Shame on this restaurant. Worst service i ever had. The waitress lied to our faces when we asked specificaly whats inside the dish, when it arrived and i explained to her the situation she rolled her eyes at me and tried to convince me to eat it anyways instead of taking it away. And another something to be ashamed of- we paid for a bottle of coke and they wouldnt let us leave with the bottle. It wasnt in a cup that belongs to them it was a *bottle* id recommend to stay away. P.S the pizza that we did eat was wet from sauce and it was bad aswell.

I was only there to eat. The food was very good, but unfortunately the service was not. The espresso we ordered was not brought, and when we asked, we were only told that it would take a while until it was ready. But the fact that the next table had already had their espresso, even though they ordered after me, was simply noted without going into it.

Excellent food and great service. The wait is definitely worth it! We can highly recommend the restaurant!

I ordered the vegetarian Rigatoni Al forno via Lieferando. Unfortunately, some of them were delivered with minced meat, which is of course difficult for me as a vegetarian because it can't be removed so easily. After my order arrived, I checked their website to see if they even had vegetarian Rigatoni Al Forno and unfortunately I couldn't find it. That's why I think this is a mistake on the menu at Lieferando. However, this should be edited as it is a real shame when such an erroneous error happens. The noodles themselves were very tasty and in my visits to the restaurant it was always very tasty :)

Found the restaurant during our day trip. Slightly out of the way, but still centrally located. During the week there is a “business lunch” with a smaller menu and cheaper prices until 7 p.m. Pizza and vegan lasagne with grilled vegetables were very good.

War im Casa Italia schon mehrmals zum Essen und habe dabei unterschiedliche Pizzen probiert. Es war immer alles sehr lecker. Ab und zu esse ich auch mal gerne eine vegetarische Pizza. Die ist besonders hervorzuheben. Geschmacklich sehr gut und super belegt. Der Service war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Food tasted tasty and was prepared quickly. Drinks were also delivered quickly. The music is relaxing and gives a touch of nostalgia. A visit to this restaurant is a beautiful & memorable experience.

Absolutely top! We ordered something to take away, while we waited for our food (which took a maximum of 10 minutes) we were offered something to drink and even our dog was given water! The pizza, pizza bread and salad were outstanding! Absolute recommendation!

There are two sockets by one of the two beds — but they don’t function. That may be why there is no sidelamp. If, during the night, one wants to get up, one has to grope one’s way through the darkness to the main light switch at the other end of the room. The second bed is squeezed berween the first bed and the wall. Otherwise comfortable and pleasant — and very quiet.

We had Insalata di Pollo and Pizza Rucala and were very satisfied with the quality and taste 👌

Very clean and well-equipped room. Self check-in and checkout works smoothly. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, so of course you have to adjust the volume accordingly until late at night on the weekend. Perfect location for exploring the city on foot.

Today we spontaneously drove from Erlangen to Bamberg to go for a walk and then spontaneously came to this restaurant. One of the nicest restaurants in a long time. Staff 10 out of 10, pizzas were incredibly tasty 100 out of 100. Please stay loyal, highly recommended.

Die Arabiata war eine einfache Tomatensoße,die Gorgonzolasoße war eine Sahnesoße mit Spinat, der Chef kam persönlich an den Tisch und versuchte alles damit zu entschuldigen das er alles abwandelt weil die Kundschaft das Original nicht annimmt,und für die Arabiata gibt es ja chilliöl zum nachwürzen

Hair in the pasta but never paid again!

Kurzes Mittagessen: Salat zur Vorspeise und Pizza Wir zwei bestellten nur einen Salat und eine Pizza. Gefühlte 5min später kam das Personal mit 2 Teller (je halbe Pizza) und tischte es uns auf, Salat in der Mitte. Wir haben nichts dergleichen erwähnt und ich fand das sehr aufmerksam. Personal war nett und zuvorkommend, Essen tiptop! Wir fanden es gut für einen Zwischenstop

Calling and picking up costs more than ordering from Lieferando. Of course that makes sense. Once again there is a businessman with no knowledge of math at work.

We stopped by on a trip to Bamberg. We can recommend the food. The pasta is super tasty, the pizza is very big and good (ok). There are a few tables inside but there is also seating outside (but only seats for 2) One star deducted for the toilets, which were anything but clean.

Unfortunately, nothing more than a run-of-the-mill Italian tailored to the German audience. Not authentic Italian cuisine. In other words: carbonara with ham and cream... well. The German pensioner couple who vacation here will be satisfied. The pizzas are quite large, but nothing special. However, the location is very good, right at the foot of the old town. Some of the waitresses are very nice, but the boss seems cold and unsympathetic.

The friendliest staff! The food is so reasonably priced and very delicious. They offer a lunch special during the week. Everything we ordered was fantastic. We initially went here after being refused to be served at little Italy but this should have been our first choice.

We did some research on Italian restaurants and the Casa Italian featured as one to experience. Could not book a table so simply dropped in later that evening, friendly enough staff. The Linguine di Pesto was great, but my Penne Arrabbiata was so salty I lost my taste buds, it was replaced after a few mouthfuls, but seriously I believe I had my months worth in this one meal. The staff acknowledged that there was an issue but kind of spoilt the evening. Anniversaries come only once a year and will wait another 364 days to draw this to a conclusion!

Even if you prefer to stop at one of the cozy restaurants in Bamberg, it's worth trying this Italian restaurant. Initially out of necessity, not being able to find a warm meal so late, it turned out to be a delicious blessing. The food is freshly and deliciously prepared, the location is clean and lovingly furnished.

As a Bamberg resident, I have eaten here several times and I love it. Especially in summer when you can sit in the alley :-) The food was always delicious and fresh and the service was great and very friendly. My niece was even brought extra gummy bears last year - by the boss himself. I can only recommend it.

We've always had good experiences in this restaurant. This time we had made a reservation via email with confirmation for a larger group. When we arrived at the specified time, we were told that they didn't know anything about it. Although they tried to free up space, we were sent out to wait in the rain with children. In general the food was really tasty. But the best thing came at the end: when we had paid, we were subsequently informed that we still had to pay for 2 drinks, which we had not ordered. And we also had to pay for the pizza boxes afterwards. You could actually write this into the bill beforehand.

After I ordered early and, as always, planned for a longer waiting time, the food still didn't come after more than 2 hours. I had already called twice by then and was put off each time by saying that the driver was already on the way and it would only take 15 minutes. The third time I called, the boss was personally on the phone and complained to me that he would receive X orders in 10 minutes and that he couldn't do anything. The staff was totally overwhelmed! A tip: if you can't handle a lot of orders, organize yourself better instead of attacking customers who are ordering. The pizza itself is good, but it never makes up for the substandard service!!

The food is tasty, but not so incredible that it warrants prices of €12-18 per pizza. At lunchtime there is the “business lunch” offer, where the food is reasonably priced. In the evening you probably just pay extra for the Italian flair. All in all, very high quality.

Self check in and check out, had to find someone from the restaurant downstairs to let us in but in general the process was uncomplicated. Room was clean. Location is really very central. We had everything we needed. The view from Room 5 is utter trash tho.

Lunch during the visit to the city of Bamberg, trattoria with an Italian name and menu, a little less in the dishes, although we must always remember that we are outside Italy so we must equally appreciate that they do their best. Margherita pizza, good central dough with thin and crunchy crust; lasagna served in a hot pan with a lot of ragù and liquid bechamel and not much pasta in the middle. Informal place, friendly staff, especially the Greek waitress who also speaks a little Italian. Price in the German average.

Well-attended Italian restaurant. It was quite crowded, but still cozy. There were three of us and we each ordered a pizza. My pizza was to die for. Very delicious; For me, one of the best pizzas in years. Conclusion: friendly and attentive service, great food; gladly again.

Ordered takeaway at night from Casa Italia. Had eaten there once before and it was decent pizza. However this time, I order an offer and it says it will be there in 15 minutes. Pretty unheard of but I rolled with it. Main issue was, I found hairs. I found one hair, decided to ignore it and keep eating. But then to find 2 others, not of the color or length of my hair, was quite disgusting. Secondly, clearly the pizza must have been old or out for a while because the crust/bread was like eating day old pizza.

Während meines dreitägigen Aufenthaltes war ich zweimal dort eingekehrt und kann nur sagen: Hervorragend! :-) Das Essen war absolute Spitzenklasse und reichlich (meine Pizza "lappte" z.B. über den Tellerrand). Dazu ging es auch bei regem Betrieb sehr zügig mit dem Essen. Das Personal ist ferner sehr aufmerksam. Eine wirklich gute Adresse in der Bamberger Altstadt (Domseite). Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ein absoluter Pizzaitaliener! Tolle Steinofenpizza und das Knoblauchbrot zur Antipasta war unglaublich gut. Die Atmosphäre ist typisch italienisch. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Tatsächlich habe ich nicht im Lokal gegessen, sondern mir sehr spontan abends, kurz vor Ladenschluss, eine Pasta und Dessert bestellt zur Lieferung. Das ist mein erster Kontakt mit dem Lokal bis hierhin. Während ich auf Essen wartete, begann ich die Rezensionen hier auf TripAdvisor zu lesen. Nachdem ich einige durchhatte, dachte ich "hättet die mal vorher gelesen" und dann vllt lieber woanders bestellt. Da ich sehr spät (nach 22.00 Uhr) bestellt hatte, war ich auf eine mögliche längere Lieferzeit eingestellt. Nach ungefähr 60 Minuten kam mein Essen, was für mich aufgrund von Zeit und Entfernung nicht negativ zu bewerten ist. Der Mitarbeiter wirkte freundlich und sympathisch. Im Vorfeld hatte ich von fettigen und aufgeweichten Nudeln und geschmolzenem Panda Cotta gelesen, wesswegen ich auf Schlimmes eingestellt war. Das Essen war zunächst schon mal sehr gut und warm / kühl verpackt, in geeigneten Boxen mit doppelter Schicht Alufolie aussdrum. Optisch sah es nach dem Entdecken sehr ansprechend aus. Also ab in die Küche und Teller und Besteck geholt. Und, jetzt kommt mein Punkt (bzw deren fünf): Ich hatte die beste vegetarische Lasagne und das leckerste Dessert seit langer Zeit. Hat mich wirklich umgehauen, so stimmig war das. Hab nochmal nachgeschaut, ob wir hier vom selben Lokal reden und musste feststellen: Ja, das tun wir! Mein erstes Mal mit dem Casa Italia war nicht das letzte Mal und zeitnah möchte ich dann auch vor Ort genießen. Ich bin sehr frohem Nachhinein, die Rezensionen erst nach der Bestellung gelesen zu haben, ich hätte andernfalls wirklich, in vollem Ernst, ein klasse Essen verpasst. Grazie Casa, großes kulinarisches Kino mit Überraschungseffekt! Ich empfehle jedem: Macht euch in jedem Fall ein eigenes Bild, denn kochen können sie dort, daran habe ich keinen Zweifel!

No! Abbiamo preso un primo (pasta alle verdure) e un’insalata di pollo. Pasta salatissima, il pollo dell’insalata era crudo. Personale gentile, ma dopo aver fatto notare che il pollo non era cotto hanno fatto finta di niente e lo abbiamo pagato a prezzo intero. Direi sconsigliato
