We've been here several times, and I have to say it's always a pleasure to eat here. Friendly staff and great food. The only downside is the ambience, as it's very noisy downstairs when the restaurant is full.

We went there for dinner on September 4, 2025. The service was very good 👍 The food, unfortunately, was not! My husband ordered the pizza with pieces of meat, etc. Unfortunately, he couldn't eat it because the meat tasted beyond strange! I had pasta with salmon that tasted of nothing and was swimming in far too much oil! Our son had the Mageritta pizza, which was very dry. I've had better for €50.

Always delicious and a great experience

A super toddler-friendly restaurant. You can take the elevator right up to the changing room. The "Men's Thing" pizza (calzone-style) with pulled pork is truly delicious. The pizza dough is light and fluffy and moist. A truly excellent pizza dough! We came here by chance, but we'd love to come back.

The menu was sticky, the table wasn't wiped, and we had to fetch our cutlery from the table next to us. The service was inattentive, and we waited a long time. The place was almost empty, and the terrace was busy. Carbonara with cream—that says it all about the cuisine.

Delicious food as you would expect from Aposto, prices are also reasonable, value for money is ok

We were there on a very hot Friday. We had to wait a bit for drinks, but that's not surprising given the 33 degrees Celsius (91 degrees Fahrenheit). They do their best to ensure everyone gets their refreshments quickly. Thank you for that! ♥ The food was delicious, the waiters were extremely friendly, chatted briefly, and always had a smile on their faces, which I found truly admirable given the weather! The pizza was one of the best I've ever had. I will definitely come back; the trip from Erlangen was definitely worth it!

I am always very satisfied at Aposto

I've been going to Aposto for years; great service and a very nice atmosphere! The prices are very fair, and my favorite is the Tuesday dice game. A little tip: get a daily shot for €1! Aposto on the 1, come here 🥰🥰🥰

Three of us wanted to spend a lovely evening at Aposto on a Tuesday. Unfortunately, there weren't any tables available for three people, so we asked the staff if we could add a chair to a table. This request was firmly refused. A short time later, however, we observed chairs and even tables being moved. How could this be possible, we wondered? Why hadn't this been allowed just a few minutes earlier? We were very disappointed!

It's actually very nice here, and the food is really good...when you get it. Last time, we simply weren't served. No, we weren't wearing an invisibility cloak—I think the waitress was just overwhelmed. Anyway, we went over to Henrietta's.

Be careful on "Spritz Day," all Spritz drinks are €5! Most of them, however, cost €8 (regular price). After asking the incredibly annoyed waitress and her boss, we were refunded an inexplicable partial amount... We were also asked to pay and leave an hour before closing time because they were supposedly closing. We'll think twice about going there again!

We were at Aposto on a hot summer night and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Lots of young people. We had a very friendly server who served us quickly and competently. There's a playground for children so parents can chat in peace. The transport links are ideal, as it's right above the Geyerswörth underground parking garage. Just a stone's throw from the old town.

A disaster. Totally unmotivated staff. They'd rather go and smoke (unfortunately, not for 5 minutes, but for 30 minutes) than serve. After repeated requests, no service staff came to collect the bill. Never again! I hope it's not always this bad, but today, August 15, 2025, it was by far the worst staff I've ever experienced.

The team was very friendly and helpful. The food was great. The place was clean, modern, and lively.

We had breakfast there – highly recommended, it was delicious. The location is great, with a parking garage and tourist information center right around the corner.

It's a lovely little space where you can relax and unwind, and the dice rolling is fantastic. I keep coming back here and it's always a wonderful experience!

We were in Bamberg for a stag or hen party and decided on Aposto because I knew from before that they had plenty of space and super delicious food! It was the same this time: the food was fantastic, with delicious drinks and good coffee. The service was really great at first, and everyone was very friendly, but unfortunately, the attention waned after the food was served. There were tons of empty glasses on the table because the new drinks were brought, but the empty ones weren't taken away. Empty plates remained at the table for quite a while, and we had to wait quite a while before we could pay. It was quite busy, but not so busy that we couldn't manage. Therefore, it loses two stars. Since we all work in the restaurant industry ourselves, I think we were able to judge this fairly well. Nevertheless, I will definitely come back!

Everything was great, except the pizza wasn't very warm, but it tasted delicious. The service was great when I asked if everything was okay, and I told them it was. The food and drinks were good, and they were still affordable. We'll be back.

Unfortunately, we didn't feel particularly welcome during our visit. A wrong order can happen, but the way we handled it was rather cold and unfriendly. We also ordered a spaghetti ice cream and had to wait over half an hour for it; by the time it finally arrived, it had almost completely melted. This unfortunately further tarnished the overall impression.

Children's play corner only gets service when you walk down and ask for something. Entrées came last and were cold, we had to order everything ourselves so they decided to make everything at the same time even though we asked them to bring it after one another. For the food its nice otherwise maybe pick something else

Food good and service when someone comes good

The service is very friendly. I think the drinks to go are a great idea. The food, especially the pasta dishes and pizzas, is highly recommended. In the summer, the downstairs area opens to the outside and is beautifully lit, creating a very pleasant ambiance. I'd be happy to come back.

I was here with my girlfriend a few days ago and ordered pasta and drinks. The prices are quite high, but the quality doesn't match. We didn't even eat half the portion because it simply wasn't tasty. We honestly pointed this out to the waitress, but we weren't offered any compensation. The staff ignored us for a very long time, and it was almost impossible to place an order, even though the workload wasn't too heavy. We also had to wait a very long time to pay, which was also extremely unpleasant, as we didn't enjoy our dinner at all.

We were at Aposto today, and unfortunately, our experience was rather disappointing. The drink consisted almost entirely of ice cubes, which definitely doesn't meet the expectations of a refreshing drink. The service also left a lot to be desired—unattentive and not very friendly. The ambiance was okay, but lacked the welcoming atmosphere you'd expect in a restaurant. Overall, it was rather disappointing, especially considering the price and expectations.

For the price, it's incredibly good. (Lunch deal) Very nice place! It's packed on Tuesday afternoons! The quality is top-notch.

Ice cream is a great way to cool off. Loved the STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER, and the ISLAND IN THE SUN. Flavors were excellent and it hit the spot.. The JOE EXOTIC was low on the flavor and more milky than expected. The popcorn was more Styrofoam than kernel. Served ice in the water which while not usual for Europe, was very welcome.

5 waiters, 20 guests. Two meals were ready every 20 minutes. Ours was forgotten. If I'd known the food was so bad, I wouldn't have asked. The homemade lemonade wasn't great either. You'll get better service at any snack bar. I'm not spoiled, but this is just not acceptable.

Food quality/value OK, drink prices only reasonable during happy hour. Service staff tried hard, but were hopelessly overwhelmed by the understaffing. Many guests at neighboring tables were visibly stressed about getting their bills and ordering, or they had to wait a very long time. We also received our orders very late and had the same problems. Some people even left because they were neither greeted nor did the service ever come to them. Large parts of the restaurant were closed off (upper level), which seems to be the case often. All of this can perhaps happen during a shortage, but I did notice a slightly negative thing: one employee (presumably the supervisor) was "monitoring" the staff, but despite the aforementioned problems, ignored the guests instead of stepping in himself. I was also very dissatisfied with the quality of the drinks. The "Bellini Pesca" is described on the menu as a drink with "peach puree" (a classic cocktail) and costs €9(!). You get alcohol with lots of ice cubes and some kind of sloppy, artificial-tasting peach syrup. Sorry, but the description is almost a malicious attempt to deceive the customer. Otherwise, it's quite nicely designed, including an outdoor area. It's also relatively large, so you have a chance of getting a seat even without a reservation. Online reservations are possible, which I find very convenient.

Just don't go there. I sat there for 45 minutes and no one came to take my order. I left without eating. :-(

The reservation was only valid for 2 hours, which was a bit tight considering the wait times... We weren't offered any other tables and were then essentially "kicked out." We definitely won't be coming back for food, at most for a drink.

This is a hip bar that also presents itself as a modern, daring restaurant. Unfortunately, I can only recommend the location and the bar itself. The atmosphere and decor are truly pleasant, and the drinks, even the freshly mixed ones, are impressive. The food, however, unfortunately doesn't live up to the restaurant's high expectations, given the menu presentation, advertising, and oft-proclaimed principles. On several visits (we hoped the first time something had simply gone wrong in the kitchen), the food tasted bland. Even rather bad. The bruschetta was cold, sticky, and overly seasoned. The carbonara was everything but that. The sauce was more like a roux, and there were only two pieces of ham on top. The waiters kept coming, even though we were still clearly reading the menu, and while we were still busy with the appetizer, the main course was brought to a table that was far too small for it. Unfortunately, another disappointment that wasn't worth the price.

Yesterday, 14 of us ate at the restaurant "Aposto" between 6:20 p.m. I ordered a "Wild Cow" pizza with Italian ham. I actually got a Wild Cow pizza, but instead of ham, it only had cheese. No explanation. The food was delicious. It just wasn't included in the menu.

On my last visit to this restaurant, I was very disappointed with the hospitality. I wish they treated their customers differently in such an upscale restaurant. The pasta was literally swimming in oil, but you can't argue with the beetroot carpaccio, which saved the day. Hence my rating.

We always enjoy going to Aposto in Germany. This aposto is pleasant, right in the city center. Service was excellent and everything went quickly. The pasta was incredibly delicious. However, the situation here is rather cramped, which is different from other locations. Delicious food - highly recommended.

The best pizza I've ever eaten. Nothing more to say! (2018) Update 2025: Quality has declined somewhat, prices have gone up. Service was friendly, but they forgot to bring oil for the pizza (do I have to ask for it?). Overall, though, it was still worth a visit; it was still delicious :)

The service wasn't bad, but the steak was horrible. This resturant is 4 stars based on the locals that attend it. The steak had literally no seasoning, and as well was bloody and under cooked. After refusing it I was still told to pay. Will never return!
