I came to Oberndorf from Salzburg on Saturday and stayed at the Stadt hotel. I walked across the historical bridge to Laufene and got to know this wonderful place. Everything was very hygienic and clean. The food was wonderfully delicious. I definitely recommend it. After your meal, you can take your ice cream and sit in the park in front of it and watch the sunset.

We'd only been here three years ago, and we were in for a big surprise. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly, everything was perfect!

Anti-social behavior by management! First it says that there are no three dishes. Then we ask for the bill, it suddenly says that the dishes are available. We then wanted to order, but despite having a reservation we weren't allowed to stay because the table was immediately given away. Incredible behavior!

We went here for dinner. Absolutely delicious: the meat, dumplings, and spaetzle were cooked to perfection, and the sauce was plentiful and incredibly tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant. I'd love to come back.

Charmingly shabby, irresistibly delicious. The decor is a case in point: wonderfully shabby. But the food? Simply amazing! The pepperoni is always a surprise. Sometimes very mild, sometimes so hot your ears burn. A true taste sensation! If you can overlook the looks, you'll experience pure pide heaven here.

The man who took our order, was a bit too aggressive. Many items for pizza were not available; we ordered the pizza with alternates; in the it was made so spicy that we couldn’t eat it…. For us just a waste fo money, time and mood!

We stayed overnight on June 17, 2025, during a bike tour. We were completely satisfied from booking to departure. We were even allowed to charge our e-bikes in the backyard. We can only give it a very good rating.

The restaurant impresses with its cozy charm and lovingly designed interior. It has a cozy atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. We ordered Schäufele (pork shoulder) – the portion was generous and plentiful. It came with bread with semolina and a side salad, which complemented the dish well. However, the price for the Schäufele was the highest we've seen so far. However, the additional side dishes made the overall package okay. Unfortunately, the crust was a bit tough and stuck to the teeth. The dumplings and meat were delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive, which we particularly appreciated. All in all, a pleasant visit that we can recommend, even if the price wasn't exactly cheap.

One standout feature is their kid’s menu, which, in my opinion, is quite large for a child’s portion—definitely a plus! The food arrived quickly, and the service was excellent. We dined in on a Saturday at 17:00, and the place filled up almost immediately after we were seated. If you're planning a visit during dinner time, you may want to arrive early to secure a table. For those who enjoy grilling their own meat, their sister restaurant, located just 100 meters away, offers a self-BBQ experience!
