We were passing through from Croatia to Germany and had dinner there. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and absolutely reasonable in price. After a brief chat, they even packed us butter for breakfast, as we were traveling in a caravan. They even gave us a bottle of red wine on top. Best man…

I'd actually like to give it 3.5 stars. The food wasn't anything special. The appetizer salad consisted almost entirely of iceberg lettuce. The dining room was very cool, almost cold. The service was very friendly.

Based on the many positive reviews, we had high expectations for the restaurant. However, in retrospect, we were somewhat skeptical, as the reviews were almost exclusively positive. The menu seemed appealing at first glance, and the food was served quickly. However, we would have expected freshly prepared dishes from a Greek restaurant. Unfortunately, many ingredients—such as potatoes, dressings, and sauces—seemed more like convenience foods, garnished with dried herbs. The gyro was also very dry. The staff was extremely friendly, but overall, we would have preferred fresher and more authentic dishes.

We only ate in the restaurant and have nothing to complain about! Very attentive service, fair prices, and good quality food. And for those who think fries are just for kids, they also offer garlic potatoes or rice.

We've had two delicious meals at Athen this holiday. Both times, we received a very enthusiastic welcome and were shown to an available table. All the dishes on the menu are well-described, and there's something for everyone. On both occasions, we didn't have to wait long for our meals. The dishes were nice and hot and deliciously prepared! It was delicious with the accompanying glass of ouzo.

I'm disappointed with this restaurant! Even though it wasn't busy, we had to wait a long time to be served. It also took a while for the drinks and food to arrive. Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly hot, the meat was extremely dry and tough, and the fries were too spicy and overly seasoned for my 4-year-old grandson. We asked the waiter about the dry meat, but he was told "the meat is lean and has little fat" as an excuse. At least he was friendly.

Two of us went for dinner. The chef and the waitress were really on the ball! The food was of excellent quality and delicious. The wait was relatively short. The prices were really reasonable, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was okay.

The food was good and served quickly. But the gyro was quite dry. The server was friendly. But even though we were the only ones in the restaurant, we had to wait for him to arrive. The man was sitting in the beer garden on his cell phone instead of checking on empty glasses.

We chose this location for one night on a stopover to Croatia. We booked through Booking.com and had to pay cash on arrival. Since we didn't have one, we had to use our debit card first, which was very inconvenient. The room itself was fine, but it's right across from a church that literally rings its bells every fifteen minutes, even at night. That's not cool... The food in the restaurant was fine, but nothing more.

I was here during a short break in the Chiemgau region. The restaurant is located in a traditional Bavarian inn with plenty of space and a beer garden with an old chestnut tree. The menu is very extensive, so both meat and fish lovers and vegetarians will find something to their liking. The service is very friendly, fast, and uncomplicated. My Cretan plate with extra salad instead of garlic potatoes was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. The prices were surprisingly reasonable and affordable for the region. I returned the next day and enjoyed the Saganaki plate... Mmmm, delicious. I can't comment on the rooms; I was only there for dinner. But I'll book there next time.

I went to get a table and the server Said it Will be ready in 1 hour. But when we came back he said no and was very rude. I would not recommend to go to this resaurant.

We walked here from our overnight campsite. The four of us walked in on a Saturday evening. It was already pleasantly busy. We were quickly seated, and the service was fast and welcoming. The prices on the menu are reasonable for what you get. But more importantly: the food was quick and delicious! At the end, we enjoyed a delicious ouzo on the house.

Unfortunately, the quality wasn't the same as under the previous owner. The only thing on our plates that was hot were the garlic potatoes. The meat and fish were lukewarm, and the quality of the meat was mediocre. It was dry and tough. The staff was friendly. But we won't be going back.

But here he ate everything and said that it was very tasty. The squid was perfectly fried, and the meat was tender and tasty. I would especially like to mention the house wine. I tried both white and red and was pleased with the taste.

The worst Greek restaurant so far. The gyro had been reheated countless times. Also, according to the bill, I booked with breakfast, but by 8:30 the restaurant was closed and the hotel was deserted.

We were there recently and were very disappointed! My bifteki was black on both sides. My husband's souvlaki skewer required a grinder because the meat was so tough. The salad consisted of green lettuce, some carrots, a pepper, and an olive. Never again!!! My neighbor went there with his entire family and he felt sick. He also says... never again!!!

Went in for a supper. The new owners are friendly, the dishes are tasty. I ordered Baklava for desert. It is a masterpiece. Baklava is usually full of sugar and crispy but this one was soft and with special taste, it melted in my mouth. We talked with the owner, he said he prepared it. Boy, we are coming again just for baklava!

I had visited for vacation with my family. We stayed there 4 days. The room was good, warm and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant was even better. The dishes were tasty 🤤. I an looking forward to go again next year

We stayed here for one night at the end of September. (In transit). Free parking spaces are available next to the entrance. We weren't in the restaurant. The rooms are large, well furnished but not clean. It definitely wasn't enough to make you feel comfortable. 🥴

I used to enjoy being here, but the last visit was a disgrace. After almost 1 1/2 hours there was still no food at the table, but other guests, some of whom arrived half an hour later, got their food before us. When I then asked for payment and skipped the meal, there was no apology or any discount. A very disappointing visit. Then it’s better to go back to Traunstein

The opening time was at 5 p.m. and the waitress came first, but after 10 minutes she put the cutlery tray in the service area. We left after 15 min.!!!!

The owner was very kind and quickly gave us the keys to the rooms where my children, my husband and I spent one night. Very quiet, comfortable and pleasant to spend the night. There is a lack of utensils in the kitchen, the hot water did not come out very well, the kitchen faucet was broken and the kitchen had no light. It lacks a little maintenance. Otherwise very good!

We had to wait over an hour for our food even though it was not busy. When our food was finally brought to us after asking twice, we received food that we had not ordered. This was not kindly returned to the kitchen. After waiting another while, our plate of food was returned with a minor adjustment. We received no apologies or compensation for this and the atmosphere was far below standard. We had to arrange some water for our dogs ourselves. Not a successful evening for us and we will not return here!!!

We were on the way home and were looking for rooms. Google suggested this house to us and I have to say. PERFECT . Very friendly owners. Clean and large rooms with everything you need. TV WiFi Mini kitchen Shower with shower gel and hair shampoo Sitting area, couch everything is there. I'm just sorry we couldn't eat there but we were just tired. Next time you stay overnight at a reasonable price but with a delicious meal.

The review refers to the restaurant: we had Gyros Metaxa gratinated. The meat was ok, I know the Metaxa sauce was much tastier. I definitely wouldn't order the Mousaka casserole again. It was bland and tasteless.

Absolutely the best Greek in the Traunstein area! The gyro is crispy and deliciously spicy, that's how it should be. Great service from great hosts, we felt very comfortable here. And the prices, given the quality and the huge portions, are absolutely top!👍 I can only recommend it to everyone!

Zwei Gerichte auf der Karte waren nicht zu haben. Alternativ nahm ich dann die Baby Calamari. Calamari waren gut, das Gemüse dazu völlig verkocht. Schade… Wie es mir geschmeckt hat, wurde leider nicht gefragt, sonst hätte ich ein feedback gegeben. Den üblichen Uso gab es nicht. Preis / Leistung deutlich zu hoch.

Ich bin seit Jahren regelmäßig Gast im Restaurant. Der Wirt bemüht sich sehr und kümmert sich um seine Gäste. Das Essen ist gut und reichlich. Besonders schön ist der Biergarten. Am Wochenende empfiehlt sich zu reservieren.
