Hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Essen kam sehr zügig und war geschmacklich echt gut. Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Wir waren am 30.06.2026 zu Besuch zum Mittagessen. Auf der Durchreise von Österreich aus kommend, nahliegend and der Autobahn. Ich hatte mich an der Wochenkarte bedient und mir eine Tagessuppe bestellt als Vorspeise. Hauptspeise war Zucchinischnitzel. Meine Frau nahm ein Gericht aus dem normalen Menü. Ich kann mich nichtmehr entstinnen, welches das genau war. Als Nachspeise gab es natürlich Kaiserschmarn. Es folgte eine Portion, die ginge locker zu viert. Wir haben diese nicht geschafft. Freundliches Personal, uns bediente eine junge Frau. Sehr leckeres Essen, eine Empfehlung geht raus!

Das Essen war für das Geld was wir dafür bezahlt hatten,viel zu wenig!!!Schnitzel viel zu klein,könnte als Kinderschnitzel,...Gewürze fehlten.Das Käsespätzle mußte nachgewürzt werden,die Röstzwiebeln gar Fehlanzeige,....im Pfänchen wurde das Gericht auch nicht serviert,also hallo 😓😡 Es gibt weit bessere Gaststätten,die noch was auf'n Teller bringen für's teure Geld. Einmal u.nie wieder,kann ich auf keinen Fall weiter empfehlen.

Etwas abseits der Hauptstraße aber mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen, Preise und Leistung stimmen vollkommen, Geschmacklich war es auch sehr gut. Wir können es nur empfehlen. Das ist unsere persönliche Meinung. Und werden auch wieder vorbei schauen.

Nach einem Fußmarsch auf den Schellenberg standen wir vor geschlossenen Türen, warum??? Also kurz entschlossen, in die Meindl Alm zu gehen, die Reservierung war nur Formsache. Das Service Personal super freundlich, das Essen schnell serviert und das Bier vom Hofbräuhaus in Traunstein Spitze. Abgerundet haben wir alles mit ein paar Gläschen Haselnuss Schnaps. Damit war es insgesamt ein sehr schöner und gelungener Geburtstags Abend. Wir kommen wieder und werden die Meindl Alm weiter empfehlen. Regina und Achim

Einfache Wirtschaft. Wir wurden trotz Reservierung an einen Tisch gesetzt, der für uns zu klein war, weil an einer Seite des Tisches kein Platz für einen Stuhl war. Und man erfährt erst beim Betreten des Lokals, dass nur Barzahlung möglich ist. Ich werde nicht mehr hingehen, weil ich Steuerhinterziehung nicht unterstützen will.

Restaurant mit schönem Flair. Super netter Service und trotz Besuch zu später Stunde haben wir noch Essen bekommen. Tolle Gastfreundlichkeit und super leckeres Essen

Immer wieder gerne. Wir sind immer auf dem Weg zur Vogalonga hier zum Abendessen und wurden bislang nie enttäuscht. Leider ist auf dem Rückweg Ruhetag ;-)

After my mother's funeral, it was difficult to find a restaurant; they were either closed for vacation or their day off. My family wanted to get together afterward. The team at Meindl Alm actually took us in, even though it was their day off. They provided us with food and drinks. Everyone was delighted. Many thanks again, and we'll gladly come back.

Good Bavarian cuisine in a rustic ambience

Rarely have we experienced a local pub where everything was just right and above average. From the reservation to the flexible move to the cozy beer garden outside, given it was a mild late summer evening. Drinks were prompt, and the menu was excellent. We were hungry and were rewarded after 10 minutes. Simply authentic cuisine, where the chef has a few more special touches up his sleeve. Not only is the light beer delicious, but the apricot with the apple fritters is also delicious. Super friendly service, and there was enough time for a chat. Our only wish would be to pay by card. We would be happy to come back anytime and can highly recommend Sabine and her team for a reservation/visit.

We had incredibly delicious roast pork with bread dumplings and coleslaw. The view of the mountains was breathtaking, and the staff were warm and friendly!

I visited on a Thursday for lunch. There was a lunch menu with a smaller selection. The service was very friendly, and the food arrived quickly and was delicious! The price is reasonable. I highly recommend it!

Quaint, small, and charming and highly recommended

This is the typical village pub you go to if you want to experience authentic regional cuisine. Our hotel recommended it to me, and I wasn't disappointed. The food is very good, the prices are reasonable, and the guests are authentic. If you want fine dining, you'll have to go elsewhere, but if you want to eat and drink where the locals eat and drink, this is the place for you.

So where do I begin.....first of all the service staff are unreasonable. They don't know their tables, can't take orders, and can't even write down four drinks. We waited half an hour to be asked what we wanted to drink. After another 15 minutes, believe it or not, two drinks arrived and two were forgotten. After an hour, we got the drinks directly from the bar because there were still two people without drinks. Well, the drinks did arrive, but no one came to order our food. After 1.15 minutes, we finally got our food order, yeeeeees, and then two hours later, the food. All the tables in the beer garden received terrible service. And everyone was dissatisfied, everyone complained, and nothing changed. Please do yourself a favor and avoid the restaurant, and I hope everyone else who was there today also writes a negative review, and that the locals who were in the beer garden also spread the word, because even they were upset and totally disappointed. For us, one thing is clear: NEVER AGAIN. Oh, and please, dear campers, even if you get the recommendation from the campsite, please go to McDonald's instead, because then you'll get something to eat after your long drive. The table next to us still hadn't had anything to eat after three hours, and after they complained, they were even more ignored.

We happened upon this place a few days ago, quite by chance, "just passing through." We received a very friendly welcome. Even though everything was reserved, we were able to stay for a quick dinner until the reservation arrived. We were so excited that we had the reservation today and had time to relax and experience everything there was to experience. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We didn't need any time. The service was ultra-fast. The food arrived at the table in a flash. Simply remarkable. All the dishes we ordered were a top-class taste experience. Apart from the fact that you'd expect portions that would fill any bear, they were perfectly balanced and a wonderful experience. To finish off, we had Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancakes). We left feeling perfectly round and totally thrilled. If we come back here for a vacation, we'll definitely be your guests again. Keep up the good work. You're great!!! Unfortunately, you can only give 5 stars, but it deserves 7.

Sabine's Meindl Alm is a small but very nice inn with excellent food and very friendly staff. We'd be happy to come back.

Delicious food, friendly service

A rustic restaurant with great, authentic Bavarian cuisine. The knuckle of pork was world-class. The staff was incredibly friendly. Make a reservation, absolutely.

We recently stopped there. The alpine hut is beautifully decorated, with a great atmosphere. We had hoped for more from our visit. The schnitzel with fries and cranberries and the cheese spaetzle were not to our liking at all. The two shandys, however, were the best of the evening. We often visit the region, and we always enjoy stopping by for a shandy, but not for dinner.

Unfortunately, we were just passing through, otherwise we would have tried the rest of the dishes on the menu. Very delicious food!

The shandy was pleasantly warm and 😋. Service was okay. We had vegetarian cheese spaetzle and a Wiener Schnitzel. It's not as fresh as it sounds. We expected better quality.

The four of us were able to enjoy the exquisite cuisine and impeccable service. Every dish was a delight – from the appetizer to the dessert. The service was absolutely impeccable, attentive and courteous, without being intrusive. We Austrians were absolutely thrilled and would gladly return anytime!

We had a very delicious meal today: beer-drawn goulash and Sabine's pan-fried spaetzle. The price-performance ratio and friendliness here are truly amazing.

The alpine pasture is really good. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. And there's plenty of parking. Dogs are also allowed.

We were quite happy to find a restaurant like Sabine's Meindl Alm on a Monday afternoon. The food is okay, but lacks a bit of refinement. We were very impressed with the service. The service is truly excellent. We had comfortable seating. One thing that was noticeable was that the chairs were perhaps a little high in relation to the table. You can eat at Sabine's Meindl Alm without hesitation, but you shouldn't have too high expectations of the food.

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. The waitress smoked during the service, which is completely unprofessional. Due to intolerances, we canceled the side dishes of Kässpätzle and Hollandaise sauce. This change of order cost us €2 each, i.e. the asparagus cost more without sauce than with sauce. We were outraged! In addition, the restaurant closed at 10 p.m. even though it was supposed to be open until 11 p.m. In addition, payment was only possible in cash, which was completely unacceptable for us as the meal bill was over €30 each. Simply not recommended!

The food wasn't particularly good. Hardly seasoned and especially cold to lukewarm. The dressing on the mixed salad didn't taste like anything. The ambience was very nice. Furnished with a lot of love.

Probably one of the best Kaiserschmarren you can ever eat! The service is Bavarian rustic but very warm and in keeping with the entire restaurant. It is relatively loud in the large dining room but pleasant in the small side part. All dishes are highly recommended and the price-performance ratio is excellent here

Were on the way from Salzburg to Prien and passed here by chance, The first impression of the restaurant with beer garden was inviting, great, attentive, very friendly and very importantly... competent service (well done, dear Lisa👍🥰) brought us the menu and recommended the wine with our meal upon request. Here you can still get home cooking and other German dishes at a very reasonable price, with very good quality and decent portions. Everything was right here, you could also feel the very good and friendly interaction with each other. Keep it up dear team, we will definitely be back. For this service and the price-performance ratio, a journey of more than 20 km is worth it...promised Best regards D. Black

Waren am Freitagabend als dreiköpfige Familie mehr oder weniger spontan dort - eine Stunde vorher telefonisch reserviert. War auch gut so, denn es war ziemlich voll und die Tische blieben nicht lange leer. Das Essen war wirklich ausgezeichnet (hatten Schweinshaxe, Steierisches Schnitzel und Käsespätzle mit Schweinefilet - alles wirklich sehr lecker). Essen wurde recht schnell serviert, obwohl es wirklich voll war. Portionen waren auch absolut ausreichend zum wirklich angenehmen Preis. Das dunkle Bier der Brauerei Traunstein war ebenso sehr gut, der Haselnussschnaps auch. :) Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Gibt nichts zu meckern - bei Gelegenheit kommen wir gerne wieder.
