Dorfstüberl in Bergen

We were there in June. Very nice host! A delicious beer. Schnitzel with fries and a portion of potato salad to go. We were very satisfied. Great value for money. And very tasty 😋. If we stop here again, we'll definitely come back.

Unfortunately, we were blinded by the good reviews and wandered into the Dorfstüberl. The food didn't look anything like the photos in other reviews suggested. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. The service was okay.

Unfortunately, we're only in Bergen for a stopover and overnight stay, otherwise we'd definitely be frequent guests at the Dorfstüberl! Nice atmosphere, very tasty and plentiful food at reasonable prices! The owner is a very friendly gentleman, and, as my husband says, a unique Bavarian. We then learned that the owner is also the chef, so it's a one-man operation. Respect! Nevertheless, everything went quickly, and he always had a kind word and a saying for his guests. Highly recommended!

Cozy village inn. Highly recommended.

The worst goulash soup ever. It was just goulash water, 2 pieces of potato, thin slices of carrots and 3 mini pieces of meat with so much pepper that you couldn't eat it at all. I have no idea what the (cook) was thinking. Were there last September following a recommendation.

Went on a men's tour in Bergen for the weekend. Went there. We were thrilled. Good beer, funny host and good-humoured, friendly locals. We had fun and laughed a lot.

Very unfriendly host. Telephone information was really cheeky. All the good reviews are from the previous owner. Really can't recommend it. Food is also a flop... the landlord should perhaps update his website. Otherwise you run the risk of ending up with him. I only gave one point because otherwise you can't upload the review

Stayed at a transit campsite. Tasty and easy food in a cafeteria setting. Useful for a quick appetite but not very special in terms of ambiance.

Simply a rustic village parlor where both locals and holidaymakers come. Good mood. Great host, nice waitresses. Food quality and price top! Beer nice and cold, enough selection of non-alcoholic drinks! Highly recommended!

Nice café, good beer, friendly service, tasty food. A real German atmosphere. We were camping nearby for an overnight stay and had a nice meal here. Definitely recommended

We arrived very late and still got warm food. There were very tasty schnitzel with fries / schnitzel with potato salad. The portions are huge. The beer is also highly recommended and the staff is really very nice and accommodating. For us the best thing that could have happened to us tonight. 😀 The next time we are passing through or on vacation in Bavaria, we will definitely come back. Friendly welcome, excellent price/quality food

I ate here for the first time today with a friend and he recommended this place to me. The schnitzel was fresh, baked in clarified butter and the potato salad was homemade and super tasty for €8.90 a large portion was simply TOP!

I can only agree with the previous reviews. The schnitzel was super tasty. Had the comparison 2 days earlier in the Alte Post restaurant in Bergen. The meat there was only the thickness of a shoe sole and was therefore overcooked, not to say “fried to death”. In the Dorfstüberl the meat was thicker and more tender. €12.90 (Alte Post Restaurant), €8.90 (Dorfstüberl). So the clear price/performance winner is Dorfstüberl. The service is also better here because it is faster and better organized in the 1 woman operation, compared to 3 service staff who were slower and uncoordinated.😊

We love the Dorfstüberl in Bergen. Regional food, super nice host and good portions. We will be back.

Super nett, leckeres Essen und Topp Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Haben das Lokal durch Zufall auf der Durchreise entdeckt. Nächstes Mal wieder. Unbedingte Empfehlung von mir.

Abolut zu empfehlen !!! Sehr leckeres Essen , freundliche und schnelle Bedienung und das alles zu sehr fairen Preisen . Wenn wir wieder am Chiemsee sind werden wir ganz bestimmt wieder vorbeischauen .

Ein sehr gut geführtesLokal. Sieht man, weil sich dort auch die Einheimischen wohl fühlen. Sehr nette und freundliche Bedienungen. Der Hamner aber ist das Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat. Absolut schmackhaft und viel. Auf alle Fälle ein 100% ige Empfehlung.

Super Service, wahnsinnig leckeres Essen, alles frisch und kaum Wartezeit und Hammer Preise. Ein echter Geheimtipp.
