Wir sind jetzt zum zweiten Mal hier und es gefällt uns nach wie vor! Sehr freundliche Bedienung, und vorallem sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen ist verdammt gut und mehr als reichlich. Preise sind absolut in Ordnung. Jederzeit wieder!

Ich bin zum wiederholten male in Coburg auf Montage. Für meine Kollegen und mich gibt es abends nurnoch ein Ziel: Das Henneberger Haus! Sehr nettes, aufmerksames Personal! Sehr lecker Fränkische Gerichte! Ein uriges Ambiente! Immer einen Besuch wert! :)

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Preis/Leistung absolut in Ordnung 👍. Service super aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Ambiente wie in alten Wirtshäusern, sogar noch mit Kartrunden und Stammtischen. Findet man leider nur noch selten. Wir besuchen euch immer wieder gerne 😍

Wir waren zum Essen im Henneberger Haus und hatten einen rundum schönen Abend. Der Service war wirklich super – Jessi und ihr Team haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und sich toll um uns gekümmert. Man fühlt sich dort sofort wohl. Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker und frisch. Insgesamt einfach ein gelungener, gemütlicher Abend mit gutem Essen und freundlicher Atmosphäre. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Wir waren mit 11 Personen da. Die Bestellung wurde sehr schnell aufgenommen Getränke gab es ein paar Minuten später und auch das Essen wurde uns schnell von der freundlichen Bedienung gebracht.wir hatten verschiedene Braten und Klöße.Das Essen war sehr lecker egal ob Schäufele, Sauerbraten,Rouladen oder Forelle .Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war gut. Auch die Portionsgröße ist nicht nur für Rentner ausreichend sozusagen ist jeder satt geworden.wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder und empfehlen das Henneberger Haus mit seinem freundlichen Service und der super Chefin gern weiter .

Mega essen Mega Chefin was will man mehr

Ein gemütliches Pub mit einer großen Auswahl an Bieren, Weinen und Spirituosen. Köstliche regionale Gerichte, unkompliziert, aber mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Absolut empfehlenswert für einen kleinen Imbiss und ein Getränk.

Super Roulade!! Besser geht es nicht… richtig gutes Essen, wir waren alle begeistert! Wir waren an Weihnachten zu Gast in Coburg und ich wäre froh, wenn es in München so gute Rouladen mit Klößen gäbe!

Wir waren mit dem Stammtisch am 28.11.25 dort und haben unsere Weinachtsfeier dort abgehalten. Wir waren alle Super Begeistert von den Essen von der Freundlichkeit. Man kann es nur Weiterempfehlen Man hat auf nichts Lange warten müssen, obwohl das Lokal bis auf den Letzten Platz belegt war. Von uns Stammtisch Brüder vielen Dank für alles. Schöne Energie, nette Bedienung und frisches Essen

Wir, sechs hungrige Coburger Lokalpatrioten, haben das Henneberger Haus gewählt und waren sehr zufrieden! Ein besonderes Lob geht an die charmante Chefin Jessy und ihr engagiertes Team, die sich hervorragend präsentiert haben. Die online-Tischreservierung war unkompliziert und deren Bestätigung auch schnell erfolgt. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und der Service war während unseres gesamten Besuchs aufmerksam, schnell und sehr zuvorkommend. Die Speisen, u. a. Roulade mit Klöße, Cordon Bleu mit Pommes frites waren nicht nur von hervorragender Qualität und ausgezeichnet im Geschmack, sondern auch sehr üppig angerichtet. Große Portionen, top im Geschmack und das zu fairen Preisen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier absolut. Wir wollen gerne wieder hierher kommen.

Wenn man Appetit auf typisch fränkische Küche hat, ist man hier genau an der richtigen Adresse. Ich hatte mich für Schäufele entschieden - einfach sensationell! Große Portion, Klasse im Geschmack, ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Das war kein gutes Fleisch, max aus der Retorte. Künstlich. Demzufolge auch kein Fleischsud. Zäh wie eine dicke Schuhsohle. Marinierter Matjes, Käsespätzle dagegen sind genießbar

Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal im Henneberger Haus und sind wieder sehr zufrieden gegangen. Die Bedienung war schnell,sehr höflich und aufmerksam. Das Essen und der Salat waren frisch zubereitet und haben sehr gut geschmeckt, die Portionen sind ordentlich und man wird gut satt. Für uns ein stimmiger Besuch, dafür geben wir sehr gern fünf Sterne. Dankeschön

Das Henneberger Haus steht für mich für ehrliche fränkische bzw. Coburger Küche. Essen schmeckte sehr gut und war reichlich, der Service ist aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Ich habe mich bei meinem Aufenthalt sehr wohl gefühlt und bin sehr zufrieden wieder gegangen:)

Zum Personal, jenes aufmerksam und freundlich jeden einzelnen Kunden bediente und den kompletten Überblick über das Lokal auch in möglich stressigen Situation behielt, Verhalten, dass meine positive Erfahrung nur noch mehr bestätigt und bestärkt. Ein Besuch in diesem Lokal würde ich jedem weiterempfehlen der einen guten Abend haben will!!

In meinem veganen Nussbraten war ein Stück vom Sauerbraten :( Geht gar nicht.

Wir haben für unsere Weihnachtsfeier Essen bestellt und waren rundum begeistert. Die Portionen waren sehr großzügig und alles hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Es gab Klöße, Rotkraut, Gänsebrust und Rouladen – alles heiß geliefert und geschmacklich ein absoluter Traum. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort bestellen!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Henneberger Haus und sind nur teilweise zufrieden. Das Ambiente ist recht einfach, aber dennoch gemütlich. Die Bedienung war äußerst freundlich. Der Sauerbraten und das Schnitzel waren wirklich sehr lecker. Die große Enttäuschung war die Roulade, denn die war definitiv nicht selbst gemacht. Das war m. E. eine Roulade aus der Dose :((( Für uns ist das ein absolutes K.O.-Kriterium.

Halbe Ente und Merch mit Klöß (grenzwertig scharff) sehr gut und schmackhaft. Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung

Essen war gut, der Service war ok.... wir sind extra wegen eines Gutscheine dort hin gefahren, den die Dame aber leider nicht einlösen wollte!!!! Nun verfällt der Gutschein in ein paar Tagen. Sie war nicht sehr bemüht....

The food is delicious, and the prices are good. I'd gladly come back. There is one point of criticism: the clothes smell of grease or food. However, this is not a reason to deduct a star.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. The service on the phone was friendly, and we were able to get a table. The food arrived so quickly we were surprised. Roulladen with dumplings and red cabbage. Unfortunately, the food was cold. The dumpling was very mushy and tasteless. The meat was okay, but also cold. Everything was pre-packaged, like it came from a can. The staff was very friendly, and the pub had a very quaint atmosphere. Afterwards, our clothes smelled strongly of roast meat and fries.

The server initially forgot about me, but quickly rectified the situation and apologized for the oversight. The food was below average. The atmosphere is cozy for enjoying a light beer.

A somewhat dated restaurant, and very cold in the dining room. We were looking forward to the meal, and unfortunately, I have to say it was the worst pork shoulder we've ever eaten. Lukewarm, and the crackling wasn't crispy but rather soggy. Caraway seeds were apparently on special offer, and there was simply too much of it; yes, they belong in there, but not that much. The dumplings were okay. The fried potatoes with meatloaf were very thin slices, the potatoes were deep-fried, and here too, there was far too much caraway... simply too much of a good thing. The Kellee beer was good, freshly tapped, and the service was very friendly. But we'll go somewhere else for pork shoulder next time we're in the area.

The food wasn't hot enough, but that's all I can say. The fried potatoes could have been fried more and warmer. The service was excellent and friendly.

Everything was perfect at the Henneberger Haus in Coburg. I had a pork schnitzel (breaded/plain) with a special request for dumplings instead of fries – it worked perfectly and tasted great. My friend had aspic with fried potatoes, which was also excellent. You can conveniently pay by card, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

The boiled beef with horseradish was very good. The salad wasn't quite as good.

We definitely recommend it! Hope the place and its friendly service stay open for a long time! It's good that such a place still exists. Prices are also a factor. You won't find it in Frankfurt! The two "Italians"...Raffaello ;)

Well, it was quite nice. The food was okay. Except the ice cream had more sauce than ice cream. We didn't find it very hygienic when the waitress ate while washing glasses. When we sat down, our trousers and skirts stuck to the benches.

Simply rustic Franconian inn. The food was very tasty and rich. Top price-performance ratio. The landlady is on her toes and really nice. Toilets spotlessly clean. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, that was very disappointing and I was really looking forward to eating an original Franconian Schäufele again for my Sunday roast. For me, the Henneberger Haus represents what we in Old Bavaria call a “Boazn”. However, not in the pejorative sense, which the term can have depending on how it is used, but rather in a positive sense as a rustic economy that has perhaps not aged with great dignity, but has aged honestly. The patina is not overly elegant, but you can tell that it was worked hard for. A tavern like this is not a nice-weather establishment. That's not possible given the situation. The few outdoor tables are on the sidewalk against the wall of the house and on the other side of the street. The intersection is quite busy and traffic is also backed up at the traffic lights next to the spaces in front of the door. As long as there are cars with combustion engines, this will inevitably lead to unpleasant noise and exhaust emissions. Nevertheless, I sat outside on a summery Sunday in May and first enjoyed a freshly tapped and wonderfully cold Kulmbacher. However, I regretted my decision to order the Schäufele. Presumably, due to the season and weather, the kitchen concentrated on the asparagus menu and was not prepared for roast eaters. The almost black rind was not crisp but rubbery, the meat was still edible, but in my opinion it had been prepared some time ago and the attempt to bring it back to life from cold sleep was not very successful. The dumplings were a bit mushy and almost melted on the plate. But they probably have to be that way, especially since they are also called sliders. It was my first time eating Coburg dumplings, which are probably only distantly related to the Bavarian Reiberknödel. But the taste was just as good as the sauce and the sauerkraut. This was a little overcooked, but that's how I like it. The waitress not only greeted me in a friendly manner, but also always looked after my well-being in a charming manner and only charged me for one beer out of two because of the bad crust. I didn't expect that because I didn't let the food go back and ate a good portion of it. I only expressed my displeasure when clearing away. Because I am of the opinion that the kitchen should not have sent the plate in the first place and that it ruined my Sunday roast, I can unfortunately only bring myself to three points. I can well imagine that in the cold season and in the summer on cool rainy days you can spend many wonderful hours in the Henneberger Haus with good and inexpensive food and drink.

Mega! I was in Coburg for further training and, in addition to enjoying the beautiful city, I came across this nice place while looking for a restaurant for dinner. The girls are very attentive, the menu is appealing and the price is absolutely right. If you like an old tavern atmosphere and home-style food, this is the place for you.

A quaint restaurant with lots of space. Home cooking with typical traditional dishes. Dumplings with roulades, sauerbraten or pork medallions. (No Coburger dumplings) Salad (Mason jar?)

We met with several people for dinner on a Sunday lunchtime in the Henneberger Haus. We really liked the rustic atmosphere - but not so much the loose food and drink menus. The selection of dishes was absolutely extensive and there was a suitable dish for everyone. The staff was friendly and quick. Unfortunately, my anticipation of the beloved “Coburg sliders” was not fulfilled. The roasts served were all very tasty and absolutely sufficient. Only the dumplings were criticized by everyone and therefore only partially eaten. It's a shame, someone who can cook so well shouldn't spoil their image with "inferior" ingredients. I eat my Coburger Bratwurst in a bun and not in flatbread. It would be so great to get original Coburg dumplings to go with the crispy Schäuferle. It definitely wouldn't hurt sales or the image.

Beautiful old inn, of which unfortunately there are only a few left. Service was nice and quick. The food went. In my opinion, the dumplings could have used a little more salt and I think they were cooked a little long. The meat was tasty, but could have used a little more seasoning. The portion was completely sufficient.

In the Henneberger Haus you can have a really tasty meal. And I find it cozy, that's how a German restaurant should be

Baptism celebration in the next room (11/16/24) with Franconian platters and dumplings. The food was traditional as before and everyone enjoyed it very much. The service was quick, friendly, proactive and authentic. We planned the celebration from Austria via email/phone and the innkeepers reacted very flexibly despite several changes. The prices are reasonable for the quality. Compared to the prices charged by the cafés on the adjacent Albertsplatz, the Henneberger Haus has fair pricing. Keep your real Coburg cuisine and lovable nature. When we are in Coburg again, we will definitely stop by your place.

Rather inconspicuous from the outside, but inside a rustically furnished and cozy inn. Great menu, all dishes at fair prices and taste perfect. Service very friendly and accommodating. It is better to reserve.

Very good German cuisine with a good price/performance ratio. Attentive, friendly service. Sufficient and tasty portions. Schlemmerblock (digital) was accepted without any problems. Unfortunately, no card payment is accepted - but it is clearly announced in the entrance area and therefore not a problem for us.

The restaurant is rustic and somewhat dark with lots of wood. The grilled knuckle with sauerkaut and dumplings (€17.50) and the Tafelspitz (€17.90) were good, nicely prepared and filling. You should make a reservation on Sundays. The goose breast is the most expensive roast at €21.90. The gourmet block was accepted without any problems. There is one clear negative point: the card payment that is common today is not accepted, only the complicated cash payment. That's no longer appropriate because I don't want to constantly see how much money I have in my pocket.

We wanted to spontaneously go out for dinner on a Saturday evening and luckily got a table in the Henneberger Haus. The welcome was warm and proved to be very friendly and accommodating throughout the entire stay! Food was very tasty! Thank you !!

Such quaint restaurants are rare in Coburg. We celebrated our birthday there with 30 people. The very good home-style cuisine was praised by everyone. The service was also very attentive and friendly. An all around lovely celebration. Any time!

Went there for lunch with a group of 13 people (including 2 children) who had pre-registered. Table was nicely prepared, service was friendly and quick. Food was very good (10 out of 10 points). I can really recommend it.

Sympathische Wirtsleute, traditionelle schmackhafte Gerichte und zivile Preise. Es gibt an der Straße ein paar Tische, im Inneren schöne alte Wirtshausmöbel. Wichtig- das Haus ist sonntags geöffnet.

The service was good, attentive but not intrusive, the pub was cozy, almost rustic, unfortunately our food wasn't that great, we had carp fillet with potato salad and a side salad. The carp fillet was breaded, not floured, the side salad was okay, but we couldn't eat the potato salad because it was almost completely gone. It was mixed with carrots and tomatoes, ice cold and the potatoes themselves tasted old. It was a shame. Have you also communicated this on site, maybe the chef will change something about it???

Were very satisfied again. Fast, attentive and super nice service. The typical Franconian food is very good! Plenty, without a long wait. Unfortunately there was no success, delivery problems from the butcher, then next time. We'll be back...

Essen gut, Preise okay - aber der Geruch der Klamotten danach führt zu zweimal Punktabzug. Das kann man deutlich besser lösen.

Fast vergessen zu schreiben: wir waren im Herbst auf Kurzurlaub im schönen Coburg (eine Sensation: die Kieferzapfengrill-Bratwürste von Bernd auf dem Marktplatz) und fanden zufällig das Henneberger Haus. Alles war dort perfekt - das Ambiente, die freundliche und gechillte Bedienung (trotz Andrang) und das hervorragende regionale Essen ! Also sehr zu empfehlen, allerdings mit Reservierung ! Danke für die lukullischen Abende, die ein Großteil unserer Freude an der Stadt ausmachten!
