Overall, the bakery is quite good – the coffee tastes good, and the breakfast offerings aren't bad either.
What I don't like at all, however, is that the employees regularly touch the rolls and breads with their bare hands to move them aside or rearrange them when the selection is running low. They don't use gloves or tongs. You can imagine how often this happens a day – and by different people, too.
After observing this several times, I will definitely not buy bread there again. It's simply unhygienic in my opinion.
Had dinner there with the family on Easter Sunday. I don't even know where to start...
We ordered the rump steak medium, but it came completely cooked through and was correspondingly dry. My dish Bucatini with cream sauce, asparagus, cherry tomatoes and scampi came without scampi. The noodles were cooked soft. When I asked, I was given a single scampi. It was very bland and unseasoned. I'm really not picky when it comes to food, but this dish was just bad. I only ate a few forkfuls of it and then left it. Another dish of pasta with salsiccia (Italian sausage) simply had salami served instead. The salad was also not very convincing. The portions were generous, but unfortunately that's of little use if the taste isn't right. The only thing that was really good were the garlic pizza breads and the large Prosciutto e Funghi pizza.
The waiter was at least friendly. The restaurant has a rather old-fashioned decor, but offers plenty of seating, both inside and outside. I honestly don't think this is an authentic Italian restaurant - I've never been served such bad food at an Italian restaurant. We definitely won't be coming back. There are plenty of other, much better Italian restaurants. When we made the reservation, we were surprised that there were still so many tables available on Easter Sunday - in retrospect, that probably speaks for itself...
The ambience is very cozy, warm and chic. The service was a bit sloppy when we wanted to change seats.
Burger & dessert very tasty, but really expensive in terms of price. Mango lemonade was equally delicious.
We ordered at the machines, then had to wait another 40 minutes at the cash register and were then told that the cash registers were out of service and that we should please pay at the machines again with a card.
