What a delightful experience at this charming beer garden nestled in the stunning historical ruins of Augsburg! The setting itself is magical, blending rich history with a relaxed atmosphere. We decided to dive into their local beers and tried the pilsner, which was crisp and refreshing. We also sampled the goiß, a unique mix of dark beer with cola and cherry liquor. It was a fun choice to help us beat the heat, though I found it a bit too sweet for my taste.
The food was a pleasant surprise too! We ordered some pommes and a fresh salad, and both were delicious. The fries were just the right amount of crispy, and the salad had a vibrant flavor that paired well with our drinks.
The ambiance is warm and welcoming, filled with friendly locals and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy great company, tasty food, and excellent local brews. I highly recommend spending an afternoon here—it's truly a gem in Augsburg!
The food arrived very quickly (about 25 minutes). The burger was good and hot; the seafood pizza was unfortunately cold, but not bad in terms of taste. I found it a bit strange that the burger 🍔 burned my fingers and the pizza 🍕 was really ice cold. This definitely won't be the last time I order from there.
We didn't expect such a high quality since it is a "quick service restaurant". It was freshly prepared for us and the portion was more than enough. The presentation does not need to be hidden in any way. In terms of taste, the vegetables were cooked to perfection, unfortunately the food wasn't warm enough and the tubes were a bit too firm. We will definitely come back. By the way, the service was excellent.
I waited a very long time for the food, and it wasn't particularly good. After eating it, I had severe stomach and abdominal problems. I can't recommend it to anyone.
I've been there four times now – each time hoping it might get better. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The burgers were cold or lukewarm at best every single time, the cheese not even remotely melted – you wonder if they've ever even seen the grill.
The restrooms? A disgrace. Unhygienic, dirty, sometimes without paper – simply unpleasant and absolutely not what you'd expect from an international chain.
The service? Just about okay. Friendly, but slow and uncoordinated, but at least the minimum was met.
And then the terrace: dirty tables, trash on the floor. You don't get the feeling that anyone here takes responsibility or cares about cleanliness.
Overall: If you expect hot food and clean restrooms, you'd be better off going somewhere else. A shame.
Sometimes I had to wait 30 minutes until my entire round was complete.
The food isn't bad, more like, okay. €35 for all-you-can-eat is okay, but €6.80 for 0.75l of still water is outrageous.
The place is dirty, the tables are wobbly, things are burnt and not cut to size. A colleague ordered the footlong nacho, and it was only half full and burned… the colleague on July 13th should really reconsider whether working there is right for him.
