EssPoint Pide & Grill in Augsburg

Ich war bereits mehrmals bei Esspoint essen und haben uns diesmal für die Filiale in Augsburg entschieden. Leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Das Restaurant war nahezu leer, trotzdem mussten wir sehr lange auf unser Essen warten. Obwohl wir ausdrücklich erklärt hatten, wie wir unser Essen möchten, wurde es trotzdem nach eigener Vorstellung zubereitet. Deshalb musste ich mein Gericht zurückgehen lassen. Auf Empfehlung eines Freundes bestellte ich anschließend das Hähnchenfleisch mit Curry Gewürz. Auf dem großen Teller befand sich jedoch hauptsächlich unnötiger Salat mit viel Essig und eine große Menge völlig zerdrückte Nudeln. Vom Hähnchen waren kaum Stücke auf dem Teller. Dafür aber mit Gemüse aufgefüllt. Das Preis Leistung und Verhältnis hat mich leider überhaupt nicht überzeugt. Insgesamt war dieser Besuch für mich eine große Enttäuschung.

Wenn ich 0 Sterne vergeben könnte, würde ich das tun. Dieses Restaurant war mit Abstand die schlechteste Erfahrung, die ich je gemacht habe. Ich weiß gar nicht, wo ich anfangen soll. Das Essen war von sehr schlechter Qualität – besonders das Fleisch und der Salat. Es war geschmacklich einfach furchtbar und definitiv das schlechteste Restaurant, das ich bisher in Deutschland besucht habe. Noch enttäuschender war jedoch der Service. Vor allem eine Mitarbeiterin war äußerst unhöflich, respektlos und völlig unprofessionell. Wir wurden überhaupt nicht freundlich behandelt. Am liebsten hätte ich die Bestellung stehen lassen und das Restaurant sofort wieder verlassen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant absolut nicht empfehlen und rate jedem davon ab, hier essen zu gehen.

Katastrophaler Service und schlechtes Essen – absolut nicht zu empfehlen! Ich wollte eine Döner-Pizza mit Extras bestellen, aber der Mitarbeiter schien überhaupt keine Lust zu arbeiten zu haben und hat meine Extrawünsche einfach ignoriert. Als ich ihn darauf ansprach, behauptete er, die Zutaten seien nicht da. Ein Blick in den Kühlschrank zeigte mir jedoch, dass alles da war. Der Service war unverschämt und das Essen war überhaupt nicht gut. Wenn es möglich wäre, würde ich keinen einzigen Stern geben. Nie wieder!

Heute habe ich in diesem türkischen Restaurant eine Linsensuppe türkische name mercimek çorba gekauft. Da ich es eilig hatte und die Suppe im Zug essen wollte, habe ich sie mitgenommen. Ich hatte großen Hunger und freute mich darauf. Als ich dann im Zug die Suppe öffnen wollte, stellte ich fest, dass die Hälfte der Schüssel nur aus Wasser bestand. Die Suppe war extrem dünn und geschmacklich sehr enttäuschend. Nach einem einzigen Löffel konnte ich sie nicht weiter essen. Das war heute die schlechteste Restaurant-Erfahrung, die ich in meinem Leben gemacht habe. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht und kann dieses Restaurant leider nicht empfehlen.

Das Lokal ist gut, der Service auch, aber die Qualität des Essens ist miserabel. Ich war schon zweimal hier und da war alles in Ordnung, aber heute brachten sie mir einen Döner mit Gemüse aus dem Müll, und das war verdorben …

Sehr schlechte Fleischqaualität, Dürüm fällt komplett zusammen beim Essen. Einmal und nie wieder.

Wir haben vier Pide gegessen, diese waren sehr gut. Aber: Wir haben mit dem Augsburger Gutscheinheft bezahlen wollen, dann kam die Besitzerin und war sehr frech zu uns, dass nur ein Gutschein pro Tisch ginge Daraufhin meinte ich zu ihr, dass dies nicht in den Buch Regeln steht, und sie diese nicht selbst bestimmen kann. Dies ist auch im Buch vermerkt. Nach fünfminütige Diskussion meinte sie zu uns, dass dies nun aus Kulanz gelten lässt. Vielen Dank für nichts? Wenn man in einem Gutscheinheft stehen möchte, um Kunden zu gewinnen beziehungsweise Werbung zu machen, sollte man sich an die Regeln halten, da man ja daraus profitieren möchte. Hier hat man einfach nur Gier gesehen. Eigentlich hätte ich gerne eine gute Bewertung geschrieben, da das Essen gut war und der Tee, aber das hat sich nun selber erledigt.

Das Köfte Sandwich für 6,99€ war eines der Leckersten Mahlzeiten die ich je gegessen habe. Freundliches Personal, schönes warmes ambiente. Immer wieder gerne! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Sehr Gutes Essen und freundlich Besitzerin.

Sehr schade, der Laden hätte eigentlich viel mehr Potential. Das Dönerfleisch ist leider von einer sehr dürftigen Qualität, ebenso das Brot. Die Sauce schmeckt irgendwie komisch. Ich hoffe es wird in mehr Qualität investiert, dann kommen auch mehr Kunden.

Ich gebe diesem Restaurant 0 Punkte. Ich wohne nicht in dieser Gegend, aber wir mussten dorthin gehen, weil wir sehr hungrig waren. Das Fleisch war sehr schlecht – es war so zäh, dass man es nicht einmal mit dem Messer schneiden konnte. Ich konnte es überhaupt nicht essen. Ich habe die Situation der zuständigen Person an der Theke erklärt, aber die Antwort war einfach: „Ich habe damit nichts zu tun, ich weiß nicht, warum das Fleisch so ist.“ Nach dem Essen haben wir Tee bestellt und auch bezahlt, aber uns wurde gesagt: „Hol deinen Tee selbst.“ Für diese schlechte Erfahrung haben wir 100 € bezahlt. Sehr enttäuschend – absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Ich empfehle es auf keinen Fall. Das Essen hat überhaupt nicht gut geschmeckt, das Fleisch war roh. Obwohl wir das Fleisch noch einmal zum Nachgaren zurückgeschickt haben, war es immer noch nicht durch. Auch das Dessert hat überhaupt nicht gut geschmeckt. Ich kann es überhaupt nicht empfehlen. Der Service war ebenfalls schlecht.

Gestern ausprobiert und echt spitze, viele Sitzplätze und gutes Essen, sehr freundliches Personal, kann man sehr empfehlen 👍. Wir hatten zwei Pizzen 🍕 mit Getränk (0,5 l) sind gut satt geworden es war lecker 😋. Liegt sehr nah zum Augsbuger Hauptbahnhof, somit top zu erreichen.

Absolut unfreundlicher Service. Sie bedienen einen gar nicht! Gehen Sie bloß nicht hin! Sie wollen hier keinen Kaffee servieren, nur Essen. Außerdem spricht man in dieser zentralen Lage kein Englisch. Die Dame mit den orangefarbenen Haaren lächelt nur, weil sie gerne Theater macht und unfreundlich zu den Kunden ist. Der Chef hat mir verboten, Fotos zu machen und sie hier hochzuladen, um den Laden oder die Leute zu zeigen. Er drohte, die Polizei zu rufen. Kurzum: Der schlimmste Ort in ganz Augsburg.

Sehr schönes Lokal . Durchschnittlicher Service . Döner war zu trocken und nicht besonders , ebenfalls Pommes sehr trocken und halb durch.

Ich war heute zum Abendessen (Fastenbruch) mit einer Begleitung vor Ort essen. Wir haben Grillplatte für 2 Personen bestellt für 50€, angekommen sind zwei separate Teller die aussehen wie die Reste von der Theke die man hätte kostenlos bekommen. Das Fleisch war kalt und zudem haben paar Inhalte dieser Bestellung gefehlt, gefehlt hat 1x Adana, statt Basmati Reis kam Bulgur, Steak Döner Fleisch kam garnicht, nach Hinweis an die Bedienung kam Hähnchenfleisch auf extra Teller. Kompletter Salat hat gefehlt, aber wenn man versucht hat den Servicekräften diese Auffälligkeit zu schildern wurde man abgewimmelt oder hat „aufs Haus“ 2 trockene Baklava Stücke bekommen die ja so gut schmecken sollten. Aber Suppe und Pide waren gut, würde ich aber nicht nochmal essen. Selamualeykum

Das Essen war lecker und reichlich, der Service freundlich. Das Ambiente erinnert etwas an eine Kantine. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt.

Wir waren heute zum frühstück da simit sehr hart nicht frisch mandarinen bestimm 4 tage alr schale war zertascht es war sehr sehr sehr kalt . Wir haben die bedienung auf die harten simit aufmerksam gemacht die meinte die sind frisch von heute . Waren zu 1000 proznet nicht frisch waren hart wie holz . Bekammen aber nach ca 10 minuten wirklich frische Wir waren 5 leute haben die auf die kälte angesprochen als antwort bekammen wir ja es ist kalt die heizung ist an . Ganz schlecht wenn man das frühstück mit jacke geniesen muss Also nie wieder aber das gewiss

Erster Eindruck als wir reingekommen sind war eigentlich positiv, aber nach und nach war es sehr enttäuschend. Dönerbox mit Pommes wird in so einer Bambusschale serviert was mir nicht sehr hygienisch vorkam. Während dem Essen fanden wir dann 3 Haare darin was aussahen wie Wimpern? Kann immer mal passieren sollte aber nicht. Die Soße dazu sehr geschmacklos und recht wenig. Bei dem Preis nicht zu empfehlen. Döner für 8€ war durchschnittlich. Extras beim bestellen wie extra scharf wird einfach ignoriert. Toiletten haben sehr unangenehm gerochen. Preis Leistung stimmt hier leider nicht und ich werde dort auch nicht mehr essen. Mit ein bisschen mehr Liebe und Interesse kann man hier sicher noch was rausholen!

Sehr lecker aber klein aber sehr guten Angebot

Habe hier auf die Schnelle eine Pide bestellt und einen Cappuccino. Ambiente und Service waren top, das Essen selber ganz in Ordnung aber keine 5/5, was ich aber für unter 15€ nicht erwartet habe. Portion normal groß, der Cappuccino war allerdings mit 4,50€ etwas teuer aber so ist das nunmal. Alles in allem war ich zufrieden und würde wenn ich in der Nähe bin wieder dort essen. Gut ist die Auswahl, Döner, Pizza, Pide etc. alles zu bekommen.

Döner für 5€ "Angebot" auch keine 3€ wert

Bedienung war sehr angenehm. Leider war das Falafel in unserem Dürüm sehr trocken und halb angebrannt. Zudem hat die Soße gefehlt, was der ganzen Sache noch mehr Trockenheit gegeben hat. Es hat uns kaum gewundert, wieso wir nach Getränken gefragt wurden. Nie wieder!

Sehr netter Empfang, wurden an einen freien Tisch geleitet, recht schnelle Bestellung. Getränke kamen innerhalb 2 Minuten... Döner inkl. Pommes keine 5 Minuten Wartezeit. Also TOP. GESCHMACK: Pommes: sehr heiß und sehr schmackhaft. Döner: Brot sehr knusprig, zugleich aber auch fluffig. Salat, Soße und Fleisch sehr gut. Preis- Leistung: Absolut in Ordnung. Kommen sicherlich gerne wieder. Das einzige Manko für Bierliebhaber: hier gibt es keinen Alkohol.

We've been to this restaurant many times and have always enjoyed coming for breakfast or lunch. This time, however, we were truly disappointed. We were served ayran that was three days past its expiration date. When we pointed this out, we were simply told that they didn't have any other ayran. Shortly afterward, a neighboring table ordered ayran – and they too were served the same expired ayran. This is completely unacceptable. Something like this simply shouldn't happen in a restaurant. It's a real shame, because we've always been satisfied before.

I bought döner, it was delicious.

I ate there with my colleagues. The food didn't taste good and the staff were not polite. We ordered coffee but the milk date had expired. We told the waiter that we hadn't drunk the coffee and the milk date had expired. She said I had to tell my boss, but the boss didn't answer and she said she had to pay for the coffee too. What's going on?

One of the waitresses was very unfriendly, with a consistently annoyed tone. The doner kebab had completely mushy eggplants. €8 for that is pretty cheeky. When I asked for a receipt (a little late, but right after paying), they simply handed me several receipts with the comment that mine was probably in there somewhere. We wouldn't go there again.

I welcomed a guest here, and it was a huge mistake! I wish I could give it 0,000 stars! 1. Food: There were only a few simit and börek at the counter and a few egg dishes for breakfast. Unfortunately, the taste was very poor... 2. Waiters: The waitresses were totally rude and always acted so annoyed, very unfriendly, and you always felt like you weren't welcome. She cleaned the table so violently, as if she wanted us to leave. Even though I hadn't said I wanted to pay, she came over and asked if we wanted to pay with cash or card. The waitresses constantly shout loudly right next to me, which is very disrespectful. They also often look at their phones. 3. Ambience: We sat inside, but the cigarette smell from outside was unbearable for a pregnant woman! The restrooms smelled disgusting!!!!! I will NEVER come here again. Unfortunately, my guest took away a very negative image of Turkish cuisine and culture, which I find very sad!!!

The price-performance ratio is good, but the taste is nothing exceptional. The doner kebab was edible, but a bit too greasy. The vegetables were fresh, but the sauce could have been more intense. It's okay for a quick snack, but not necessarily a place I'd go to specifically.

The ess point in Munich is 1000 times better than in Augsburg. We were there for the first time and also for the last time. A large pide, fries and 2 ayrans. Pide and ayran came pretty quickly, fries and cutlery didn't even come, we spoke about it 6 times, no fries and no cutlery, but they charged us around €64 for our order, so the boss had to come around, but it was funny. The fries we didn't get were on the house, ayran was on the house.

WARNING – Life-threatening food poisoning after the visit! My husband was here and ordered Menemen. What he got wasn't typical Menemen: It was yellowish, had a strange consistency, and a thick layer of fat on top. He'd eaten Menemen many times before and knew immediately something was wrong, yet he ate it out of hunger. Shortly after eating, on the way home, he felt extremely ill. He vomited immediately, and not just once. The next three days were hell: severe nausea, persistent vomiting, black vomit (a sign of stomach bleeding), and severe stomach discomfort. The doctors said it could have been worse; we were very lucky. Something like this should NEVER happen in a restaurant. Whether it was spoiled ingredients or unhygienic preparation, we don't know. But we do know: This restaurant turned our daily life upside down and almost cost my husband his life. I'm writing this review so no one else has to go through the same thing.

We visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. We received a very friendly welcome. We had two veal doner kebabs. The bread was freshly baked and the meat tasted wonderful. We arrived with a voucher book, which was accepted immediately. Everything was very clean. We would love to come back next time we're in Augsburg.

Very rude! The manager told me the voucher code wasn't scannable. Finally, she made it clear to me that I didn't need to eat there.

I always enjoy going to this kebab shop. It's cozy, the food is great, and the prices are reasonable (waiting time from ordering to food is about 10-30 minutes).

The food is great in terms of taste and quality! I've never had such good Adana anywhere. The service is at least as good as the food. Totally accommodating and totally hospitable. We always feel really comfortable when we are here. Everything about this restaurant can only be recommended!

Simply without The Mix grill plate and the künefe were excellent - tasted great and very well prepared! The range of drinks also leaves nothing to be desired. Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness of the landlord and Mr. Ali Patir, the managing director. You really feel welcome here. Highly recommended!

The food was incredibly bad. I ordered the dish “My Curry” and had stomach cramps after eating it. Since I'm not picky about food, I was able to finish most of it, even though it really didn't taste good. Many friends have had similar experiences. Unfortunately, the restaurant really cannot be recommended….

Restaurant stinks so much ,After five minutes in there you can take a completely new shower and wash all your clothes. Waiter didn't even bring plates for pizza. Fries fried in old rancid oil. The food was brought first and then the drinks. Approximately €10 was added to the bill. The bathroom was dingy, the light switches were totally dirty and the faucet almost fell off the sink.

It is a restaurant in a central location. There is nothing we can say is great or terrible about food. A middle-of-the-road restaurant

I walked past the restaurant and thought it was nice from the outside, so I thought the food there was good too. I ordered a meal of grilled kebab and rice, the bill was 13 euros. Since I was in a hurry because the restaurant is near the train station and I had to travel, I took the food with me. On the train, when I was very hungry and opened the box, I found that the kebab was undercooked at all, the rice was soggy and the bread was full of oil. I can say that this is the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at and I would not recommend anyone to eat there.

We had actually visited this snack bar before and weren't very impressed with what we were offered in terms of food (even though we are fans of Turkish cuisine). However, after visiting a stadium in another city, after a long train journey during which we had nothing to eat except a pretzel, we were forced to eat again at the Esspoint because after 8 p.m. there isn't much on offer in the station area. When we arrived we were greeted nicely, but unfortunately our table wasn't clean and no one came to change that afterwards. But oh well. I ordered a Merzimek soup, my husband a Turkish pizza (Lamacun) and my two children each a chicken plate. After 20 minutes the food came even though there wasn't actually much activity. The Merzimek soup was actually quite pleasant and the Lamacun didn't cause any problems either. BUT!!!!! My two poor kids' chicken plates were so-so. 1. The chicken was cold. When we mentioned this, one of the staff grabbed the chicken with his bare hand to test whether it was really cold?! Why does this even have to be checked, customer is king! Palpating the chicken revealed that it was actually cold and a new one was brought 5 minutes later. The mood was already in the basement anyway and the kids were really exhausted and weren't really hungry anymore. But well, they had nothing in their stomachs and ate it anyway. 2. When we got home, my son was suffering from severe stomach pain and nausea. Before I could have done anything he had already thrown up. Unfortunately the nausea didn't go away the next day and the day ended in the hospital. It turned out that my son had food poisoning, more specifically salmonella, I can't say 100% that it was from esspoint, it's just my personal guess. I very much doubt that this came from the pretzel. I don't want to accuse anyone of anything, but to experience something like that again after the first unpleasant experience is a real shame! Of course I hope that it is an isolated case because the price-performance ratio is actually very acceptable and some of the dishes really taste good.

It was my first time eating there with my family, my kebab was okay... unfortunately the food from my mom and sister-in-law was very bad. The glasses were very dirty. I can't complain about the staff, they were very nice. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it.

We wanted it for 2 people, but it came for 1 person, and on top of that, when we asked for 2 people again, we kept the time, two hours and fifty-seven minutes later, it came for 1 person again, so we didn't eat it and left after paying the bill.

Were greeted very nicely and got tea on the back of the restaurant. It was very cool there and the kebab box I had was also delicious. All in all a very nice and nice restaurant. Can only recommend.

It's the worst quality place I've ever been to in my life. I ordered the doner kebabs and the meat was cold. After that, a so-called manager came and said it was of poorer quality than those dishes. Instead of apologizing, he talks arrogantly. "No, the meat is not cold. It's not there." If you want to throw it away, this is the right place. One star is too much for you...

Today I was at SPoint Essen. The atmosphere is pleasant, the people are nice. The food is okay but unfortunately it arrived cold and didn't really taste that special. Unfortunately the service is not good. You have to wait a long time until someone comes. The employee doesn't know how to use her own card. The dishes that were brought are dirty. Food is brought individually and at long intervals. Please optimize the service and train employees. Apart from that, a nice restaurant.

Delicious Turkish cuisine. Anatolian Pide is the highlight!!!

It was good, tasty and relaxing. Interior was interesting and typical. Service was good enough and friendly. The food was really tasty and portions were big. But 4 stars, because of the prices, for such a kind of restaurant, it’s a bit expensive.

I ordered pide with pastirma and was shocked when the pide was served to me... it was delicious but for €16 a shredded slice of pastirma was a cheek.

Lost a lot!! They used to be better. New employees work as if they were sleeping... Today we wanted 2x Küneffe then the blonde employee came and said she can only bring us 1x Küneffe so that we can eat for two. The wishes are not perceived. There's also no sign of cleanliness. Dirty dishes, tables. The health department will have to stop by there.

They bring expensive stuff but not the one you have ordered

The food is not good ,the service is horrible, the order is late . I won't go back there for sure ! Any other place is better than that one ! I don't know how this restaurant is still working! I hope that they will close it as soon as possible and start another business. They can try with ice creams or selling candies ,they'll be more successful! Anyway if you go there ,prepare to pay much for nothing ! 😉

Today we ordered 2 doner kebabs with rice and a box of fries. After 15 minutes we got 1 box of fries and a box of rice. We said what our order was, the boy simply put the rice box in the plate with a small portion of sauce and gave it back. We had to order kebab again. And the food didn't taste good. Rice was overcooked, very little sauce, no salad. This time just one point.

Ordered 2 kebabs for €22 and they were smaller than cheeseburgers at McDonald’s. This store is absolutely disgusting!

Unfortunately, I have been disappointed here several times. Tables are dirty when you arrive. Glasses and plates are in very poor condition with chipped edges and severe scratches!! It's not appetizing. Waiter with a cigarette in his mouth at work. Staff is not professional. The health department should check here.
