This, is truly what a family business is like.
The name KONG, comes from the owners boxing tag. The owner is a boxer, and his aunt is a waitress here. Just a happy family serving incredible food. We ordered 3 things for two people, a Salad with beef strips, Steak, and a Hamburger. The meat was grilled to perfection and we absolutely loved the marinated flavor. Their menu options are now limited because they are unfortunately closing down and moving which is a shame, but they shared their experience. The owner described the conditions of leasing a building here, €4-5k euros a month. I am seriously hoping they move to a better environment because their food is incredible. A little hard to find, but if you enter through a narrow road with a building by your side, you’re in. Bless this family’s heart.
Whether it's baked carp, carp chips, or carp fillet – Stefan and his team deliver top-notch quality and deliciousness, and the carp baker deserves high praise: crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside – definitely try it!
The food was excellent. I had a falafel plate. Simple, fresh ingredients. The freshly baked, warm bread was especially great. And the pickled vegetables. The menu makes you want to try more dishes. (Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo; I'll add one next time.)
Service was friendly, and overall satisfactory.
It was a bit warm inside. Seating outside would have been great. The slowed-down house version of "In the End" made up for that.
Hey, this snack bar is great!
This morning I got a pot of coffee, a fresh roll with scrambled eggs and really thick bacon, and a tomato and mozzarella roll... €4.50...
The coffee tastes amazing!
The rolls are fresh and come in a variety of varieties.
The owner is a cool guy and friendly...you'll gladly spend your hard-earned money there.
We were here for the first time today and weren't particularly impressed. The ice cream was totally chemical-flavored and tasted bad, and we waited in line for almost 20 minutes.
The clerk is really nice, so 2 stars for that!
The food is wonderful, really delicious 😋 the restaurant is an original Black Forest restaurant, it feels like nothing has changed in 100 years 😁 but what matters is the owner who gives his all, is very friendly and what comes out of the kitchen is really good 👍🏻
A very nice summer pub. Open only four weekends in July. Quaint, cozy, and a great look. The live music was fantastic; the accordion player even walked through the pub and even sat down at the tables, singing and playing along with the guests. Great. Parking is limited along the street, so if you arrive by bus or bike, please read the sign when using the restroom, or you'll be in for a surprise.
