Absolute insider tip. From the outside, if you're honest, not particularly appealing, the LA Tavola Calda turns out to be a culinary Italian pearl.
Inside, we were greeted by a lovingly crafted, huge flu, complete with light decorations, mechanical movements and beautifully presented animations. Our children stopped right there and marveled at the diorama.
The menu offers a wonderful selection of fish, pizzas and pasta.
My chosen dishes, bruscetta, salad and pizza diavola, were absolutely top notch, delicious and of the best quality. The pizza was a poem. Beautiful floor, beautifully laid. The spiciness was rounded off by a spicy oil that was at the next table with vinegar/oil/pepper/salt.
The service was nice and, despite the older age, always attentive and quick.
A top price/performance offer that will convince everyone makes La Tavola Calda a clear recommendation
Waited forever to eat (there wasn't much going on) Bruschetta, the bread wasn't even toasted, I was disappointed with it because I really like eating it.
Booked a table on March 31 2024, 18:30h. Unfortunately it was closed. If the restaurant don’t think it’s worth to configure table bookings correctly, they shouldn’t wonder about missing guests…
We waited over 2 hours for our food. This happens when more reservations are accepted than can be handled or when the boss can't get enough. Then the regular question is whether everything is OK. Never again!!!
Unfortunately nothing has improved this year either! I was looking forward to a delicious burger and then I got the worst patty in a disastrous bun in years with bone-hard potato wedges! Just totally outrageous and disrespectful!!!
We picked up the dishes. Had a total of 10 pizzas and a pasta dish.
Eat:
The pizzas are very tasty, but the crust was too big for us. This saved a lot of covering. Unfortunately the ham was missing from my pizza (Parmiggiano).
Service:
Due to a misunderstanding, a pizza was missing and was prepared later. We stood in the restaurant for so long. A schnapps, a bottle of cola, wine or something else would have been appropriate with such a large order and the resulting misunderstanding.
There is also no takeaway menu here.
Unfortunately we will no longer be ordering here.
There were two of us without a reservation during the week, that wasn't a problem.
The pizza was good but small. 11.50 was due for this, which is ok. The wine was served in a glass without a calibration mark, which is only permitted if served in a decanter with a calibration mark. Ordered 0.25, it was maybe 0.150. 6.90 was due for this. The side salad for 5.50 was surprising because of the tiny bowl, it was mostly iceberg lettuce, 2 cucumber wedges, 2 tomato wedges. It wouldn't have hurt if a handful of lamb's lettuce had been thrown on top. Elsewhere in the outback towards IN I get a small bowl for that price, which is almost impossible to manage. The service was almost too much.
When it comes to the prices, we omitted the second wine and, if necessary, the dessert.
I'm sorry, we won't be coming back.
