Pizza Madina is simply delicious: fresh dough, fresh ingredients, very quick preparation, and really fair prices, especially compared to other places in the area. The pizzas are thin, crispy, and pleasantly seasoned; you can taste that the dough is homemade. What I particularly liked: • Super friendly team! • Many vegetarian options • Reliably quick pickup (ideal when you're out and about in Neustadt) • Excellent value for money Inside, it's rather small and unpretentious, perfect for takeout or a quick snack. Not your typical "tourist trap," but an honest place that knows its craft. My tip: Pizza Madina or the spicy chili sucuk version, all fresh from the oven! If you're really hungry, just add the pizza rolls—they're also really good! • ... Definitely one of the best pizza places in the Neustadt district, no unnecessary frills, just solid pizza. I'll gladly come back. 🍕

Great food! Had a doner kebab with fries. The fries were super crispy and not dripping with grease. The meat was juicy and not too greasy. It just could have used a bit more sauce. The portion was very generous! Highly recommended. Card payments were also accepted. Perfect!

Until a few months ago, I would have given it 4 stars (initially even 5), but unfortunately, that's not possible right now. The doner kebab, for example, isn't as good as it was after they first opened. The bread is often toasted for too long, so it's far too dark and crumbles when you eat it. The meat itself is okay, and the sauces are tasty. Overall, and compared to other restaurants of this type, this place is in the good middle range. The prices are reasonable and standard. If I happen to be in the area and I'm hungry, I'll still get something to eat there. As soon as I notice any improvement, I'll adjust my rating accordingly.

We were really looking forward to this evening, as it was our first time trying this restaurant and we were very curious. There had been a mix-up with the reservation, so we didn't have it on file. A big thank you to the team for still giving us a table. We opted for the large vegetarian menu. Our seat was next to a door leading to the hallway and the restrooms. Unfortunately, there was a draft at this spot, so we made sure the door was closed. However, this wasn't possible because there was a hanging flower basket in the doorway – very convenient indeed! The rest of the restaurant's decor was rather mediocre. Now, about the menu: The individual courses arrived with somewhat long intervals between them, weren't very exciting, and were quite visually unappealing. There was an intermezzo. All in all, the quality of the dishes didn't live up to the advertised expectations, let alone the price. The team's unsolicited use of the informal "du" (you) didn't help matters. Compared to other upscale restaurants, Staudis leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. I've never experienced anything like this in a restaurant of this price range: being ushered out at 11:30 pm with a reminder that this was the last order... In conclusion, I must unfortunately explain that while there is a dedicated team working here, they simply don't understand the rules and quality standards of this price range. I certainly won't be spending another evening at this restaurant.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Das Essen war fantastisch, alles frisch und unglaublich lecker. Vor allem die calamari. Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm. Sehr freundliches Personal-alle sehr aufmerksam und herzlich. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen

I bought 1.5 kilos of baklava yesterday and I was really pleased. The baklava was fresh and tasted very good. If they paid a little more attention to cleanliness in the shop, everything would be perfect. Then I would wholeheartedly give it a 10 out of 5 stars.

A nice, owner-operated pub. Decorated like an Irish pub. Good selection of drinks. Prices are perfectly reasonable. Darts are available. Smoking is allowed.

Wir haben dieses Restaurant für unser Hochzeitsessen ausgewählt. Die Reservierung war problemlos möglich. Das Personal war freundlich und es war spannend das Küchenteam bei der Zubereitung der Speisen in der offenen Küche zu beobachten. Die Speisen des gewählten 8-Gang Menüs waren alle köstlich und auf den Punkt zubereitet, wie ich es in einem vom Guide de Michelin Restaurant erwarte. Die Aromen und Düfte der Speisen waren ebenfalls vorzüglich. Zum Menü wählte meine Frau die alkoholfreie Getränkebegleitung und ich die 8-Gang-Weinbegleitung. Die alkoholfreien Getränke waren kreativ und sehr gut gewählt. Auch die Weinbegleitung war prinzipiell stimmig. Lediglich beim Service muss ich Abstriche machen, da es zu drei Unstimmigkeiten kam. Zum zweiten Gang wurde ein Wein serviert, der aus meiner Sicht geschmacklich nicht passte. Als der Service Mitarbeiter kurz vor Ende des Ganges fragte, wie es geschmeckt hat, fragte ich ihn, ob evtl. der falsche Wein gereicht wurde. Dies bejahte er und entschuldigte sich, dass dies dem Service Team just in diesem aufgefallen ist. Für das letzte Stück Brot bekam ich den eigentlich vorgesehenen Wein, welcher perfekt passte. Beim letzten Gang fehlte die Weinbegleitung völlig und da das Personal an anderen Tischen beschäftigt war, habe ich den Nachtisch ohne Getränk genossen. Der Koch, der zum Abräumen kam fragte, wie es gemundet hat. Auch hier war die Antwort köstlich, aber ich erwähnte, dass die Weinbegleitung fehlte, woraufhin er sich für den Service entschuldigte und anbot den Nachtisch noch einmal neu zu machen. Dies war aus meiner Sicht nicht nötig, da ich dem Küchenteam keine weitere Arbeit machen wollte. Ich forderte lediglich mein ausstehendes Getränk an. Dieses wurde kurze Zeit später vom Service gebracht, ohne den Fehler anzusprechen. Als "persönlich Entschuldigung" wurde uns am Ende eine kleine Auswahl an Pralinen serviert. Da alle anderen Tische diese Auswahl ebenfalls bekommen habe, denke ich nicht, dass es an alle Tischen zu Fehlern kam, sondern dies üblich ist. Da fühlten wir uns gelinde gesagt etwas verschaukelt. Ich habe absolutes Verständnis dafür, dass es bei Stress zu Fehlern kommen kann, da wäre ich auch der Letzte der meckert. Aber anstatt einfach offen damit umzugehen und zu sagen "sorry falscher Wein" (das Service Personal hat anscheinend hinter der Theke auch darüber gesprochen, bevor ich es ansprach), zu hoffen, dass der Gast es nicht merkt, passt leider nicht zu einem Michelin dekorierten Restaurant. Dennoch gilt das größte Lob der Küche, die wirklich ein tolles Essen gekocht haben.

Top sushi place, nothing else in the area even comes close, especially in terms of service, punctuality, and of course, the quality of the food. Super friendly team! So happy to have such a place in Erftstadt.
