Restaurant 1888 Traunstein in Traunstein

We visited Kitchen Arts (Italian menu) for the first time on a Friday evening. It had been recommended to me by friends and, again, it had consistently positive reviews. We had reserved a table, but it wasn't necessary, as there were only a few other tables occupied. The service was good and the atmosphere pleasant. Overall, though, I had hoped for more from the food. We liked the truffle lasagna the best; the risotto and pasta with tomato sauce were nothing special in our opinion. I was disappointed with the starter salad, which consisted only of romaine lettuce and a bit of cucumber and tomato, and seemed a bit uninspired. Perhaps I'll give the restaurant another chance with a different menu; on the other hand, there are many other good restaurants in Traunstein that I'll give priority to for the time being.

Stunningly well cooked food, fresh, imaginative, tasty, wholesome, thank you very much for the top food that you offer every day.
