Sonja and Alex gave us a really lovely evening. The ambience was totally convincing, it was beautifully decorated and you felt completely comfortable. The food came to the table quickly and tasted very good! The service rounded everything off, because Sonja and Alex introduced themselves at the beginning, you immediately felt at home. I think it's great that the menu keeps changing. No matter whether Italian, Asian or Balkan food, the food is always excellent! I appreciate that the cooking here is still fresh. The shrimp (if there are any) are amazing! All waiters and waitresses are super friendly and attentive. I would particularly like to highlight the Ukrainian waiter, someone who tries so hard to learn our language and is also extremely friendly is something you really don't see every day. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and the new menu 💗💗💗.

The owner Sonja impresses with her personal advice on the dishes with the perfectly coordinated wine accompaniment and an extraordinary feeling for the art of the kitchen and in a very appealing ambience. The service was attentive, friendly and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. You can tell that everything here is right down to the last detail - from the perfectly matched wine to the loving presentation of the food. An absolute highlight in the region and definitely worth a visit. We'd love to come back.

Nomen est Omen at Kitchen Arts in Traunstein. One thing is certain: KA is in my top 3 restaurants in Chiemgau, because it is comparable to a short trip to an oasis of well-being. Now to the essentials in brief. Ambience: Well furnished, it speaks the language of the owner, who is always in top form and is often present. Food: Varied because regional dishes change every week, everything is always authentic and very tasty. Service: From the reception to the serving to the farewell, very warm but not intrusive. Last but not least, extremely well maintained and clean sanitary facilities. Clearly negative, because nothing is perfect: the parking situation poses major problems during the day. All in all, a clear recommendation to “Michelin”

Not only does the ambience create an inviting atmosphere, but the hospitality also makes you feel welcome. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Before our course was even served, we received a greeting from the kitchen. Even throughout the evening, the impression did not disappear that the service and the hostess knew what they were doing. I find the principle of this restaurant particularly exciting. Every month the menu is dedicated to a different country and therefore a different cuisine. We were guests when Israeli cuisine was offered and ordered the lamb. I'll put it this way: when you ate the course, you went through a culinary journey because the different flavors harmonized well with the rest. We were positively convinced and would come back at any time, because for such a small restaurant the standards are high and the experience is worthwhile.

Aromatic taste experience, we had Israeli cuisine. It's just cool to have a location where you can get to know other cuisines, even here in the country. Nothing that I can just cook, both in terms of the ingredients and the preparation. Great selection of dishes, we had a hard time deciding. Very friendly and dedicated service. Great ambience, I look forward to the green interior interior even in winter.

Sonja and her team conjure up sophisticated, creative delicacies on your plate. The plates are arranged like a work of art. Every month the colorful menu changes and you are sent on a new culinary journey: be it Israel, Greece, Korea, Italy or one of the many other countries that Sonja brings to your plate - everything tastes delicious and you are always surprised; you get to know the countries from new perspectives. I am always fascinated. The ingredients are always fresh and of the highest quality. The team works hard, you always feel valued and so comfortable.

I actually came for the Korean menu. But it was the first day of the Israeli card. Didn't matter at all. The staff also has the right mix. Very polite and yet not blasé, but in a good mood. The starter “Creamy Date” immediately surprised me. What you can do with quark. Creamy, sweet, slightly spicy, spicy with spring onion. Plus fresh flatbread with good olive oil. Nevertheless, it is not overcrowded. How do they do that? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Now the chicken kebab. It took a while, but it didn't bother me because it was a summer evening where you could get lost in thought or watch the people in the city. Yes, the kebab. Buttery soft with two different sauces/dips? (see photo) together again the great mixture of sweet, salty and creamy. In short, a really surprisingly delicious evening. Oh yes, only do this if you don't have a cumin allergy. 😁

Stranded on the train in Traunstein and happened upon Kitchen Arts. Very friendly staff, food very good. It's easy to go there. Small suggestions for improvement: Cutlery should come to the table before eating. If you order a starter and main course, please don't bring both at the same time.

What can I say, I'm speechless at how delicious the food was, how courteous the service is and how beautiful and loving the decor is. Kitchen Arts is a pearl of Chiemgau in my opinion. I'd love to come back and I'm looking forward to it.

A culinary feast for the senses, presented by a perfectly functioning service. Ambience great. Only essential and delicious items on the menu, no frills. Word must have gotten around because the store was fully booked. And with guests who clearly showed a desire for absolute quality. Incredibly good value for money. Conclusion: Traunstein has a star kitchen address.

There were four of us and all four were more than pleasantly surprised. Real plants that created a pleasant atmosphere, very friendly service, great food and, for our taste, very nice background music.

The decoration in the restaurant is very loving and beautiful. The food is very good, although the portions are a bit small for my taste and the price is quite high. The price-performance ratio could therefore be better. Quite attentive service. But I ordered a Helles and got a wheat beer in a Helles glass. The waitress responded to my complaint by explaining that it was light. Finally I received a fresh beer. It was a noticeably different color than the previous one. So it was initially a wheat beer and my complaint was justified. We then had to wait a bit long for the bill. Therefore the service could be a little more customer oriented.

Very great restaurant with extravagant food

The service was very friendly but you could tell that he was working hard. There were also delivery bottlenecks so that the beetroot in the vegan salad had to be replaced with fennel. However, this was kindly compensated for in price. The garganelli were replaced with linguine.

Professioneller Service (Gute Ausbildung ist immer die beste Basis). Eine geschmackvolle Einrichtung macht hier die Wohlfühlatmosphere. Die in Abständen wechselnden internationalen Speisekarten versprechen Gerichte, die fast den Originalen entsprechen - gut abgeschmeckt, stimmig. Preise liegen momentan im mittleren Segment (10/2023) - heißt: Die Gerichte sind ihren Preis wert.

Geschmacklich ok, war aber nicht mit einem original Bulgogi zu vergleichen! Das Fleisch sollte hauchdünn geschnitten sein und nicht wie bei mir dicke Fleischstreifen die totgegart waren, preislich völlig überteuert. Ich war am 08.11.2023 zum Essen in diesem Lokal!

Wir waren koreanisch essen. Uns hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön 🤩 wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Auf jeden Fall wirklich zu empfehlen. Wir sind schon gespannt auf das nächste Monats- Motto 👌

Die Speisen sind lecker, wenn auch die Beschreibung auf der Karte nicht immer perfekt getroffen ist: die "Crispy Chicken Tikka Bowl" ist nicht crispy, das Fleisch ist im Gegenteil sehr zart und weich). Sehr schönes Ambiente und freundliche Bedienung! Das Angebot alkoholfreier Getränke ist noch ausbaufähig, ein paar kreative Variationen alkoholfreier Aperivs, dann kommen ich gerne wieder ;) Das Angebot eines "Extra-Aperitivs" habe ich gerne angenommen - allerdings fand ich den stolzen Preis von € 10,90 für eine Saftmischung nicht angemessen... Alles in Allem: Eine gute Adresse für alle die in Traunstein bei besonderem Ambiente etwas Besonderes essen möchten!

Kitchen Arts in Traunstein ist ein kulinarisches Juwel! Der Service ist hervorragend und die Gastfreundschaft des Personals macht den Besuch zu einem echten Genuss. Das Essen ist einfach vorzüglich. Die vielfältige Speisekarte bietet eine breite Palette von Gerichten, die alle mit Sorgfalt und Liebe zubereitet werden. Mit dem kleinen Twist dass sich die Karte monatlich in ein anderes Land begibt und somit jeden Monat eine neue kulinarische Tür öffnet! Jeder Bissen ist ein Geschmackserlebnis, das man nicht so schnell vergisst. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr angenehm, perfekt für romantische Abende oder gesellige Treffen. Ich kann Kitchen Arts uneingeschränkt empfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

na ja - viel Wirbel um wenig greifbares. Die Vorspeisen sind für den Preis ungenügend. Vollkommen übertriebener Schüsselaufwand die mehr darstellten als eigentlich vorhanden. Die Bowl war eine Salatschüssel mit 6 kleinen Stückchen Gyros. Allerdings war die Soße gut wie überhaupt auch die anderen Dinge durchaus schmeckten. Ich finde das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht!

Exzellenter Service und ausgezeichnetes Essen. Man fühlt sich total wohl und kann alle 4-6 Wochen in neue kulinarische Welten eintauchen!

Hier meine Gegendarstellung: Da wir beim letzten Mal eher unzufrieden waren und ich eine mittelmäßige Bewertung abgegeben habe muss ich das revidieren. Waren heute wieder zu Gast und mehr als zufrieden, alles top: Essen, Getränke, Service, top Organisation .... und zum Schluß noch eine tolle Schnapsempfehlung. Wir wurden an diesem Abend von Sonja (Chefin) eingeladen und können uns nur auf das Herzlichste für diesen tollen Abend bedanken. Natürlich kommen wir wieder!!!! Bis bald!

This place is just fantastic! I have been twice now, and both meals were great. Their attention to detail and tremendous flavors just stand out. One cocktail I had mixed Licor 43 and almond milk, and is maybe the best I have had in years. I also particularly enjoyed the ragu tagliatelle. Unfortunately, hard to recommend specific things because their menu changes so often. But definitely an anazing experience!

Liebevoll eingerichtet. Tolles Personal. Wechselnde Karten und wir waren nie enttäuscht. Bislang waren México und jetzt Israel unsere Favoriten. Auch unbedingt die Cocktails und Limonaden probieren.

Ich war mit meinem Freund da. Leider können wir die durchwegs sehr guten Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier überhaupt nicht. Sehr kleine Portionen, Bestandteile, die auf der Karte stehen, sind nicht auf dem Teller. Die Bestandteile der Hauptspeise sind fast eins zu eins im Hauptgericht wieder zu finden. Leider anders als in der Karte beschreiben. Die Mitarbeiter hätten hier zumindest darauf aufmerksam machen können. Hühnchen war zäh und trocken, als wäre es lange warmgehalten worden obwohl wir die ersten Gäste an diesem Abend waren. Der Hummus schmeckte eher nach einer mit Wasser gestreckten, nicht geschmackvollen Creme. Das Pita Brot war gut. Letztendlich sind hier 23 EUR für eine (sehr klein ausgefallene) Hauptspeise viel zu hoch gegriffen. Sobald das Restaurant voll mit Gästen besetzt war, waren die Mitarbeiter überfordert und es kam zu langen Wartezeiten. Das Team wirkt, trotz des 1 1/2 jährigen Bestehens nicht sehr eingespielt. Die Bedienung Magdalena war sehr nett und bemüht. Alles in allem leider aber nicht zu empfehlen.
