Absolutely excellent food, very creative, high-quality cuisine and really friendly staff.

Food is quite solid. Everything nice and hot. Communication is a bit difficult. In any case, I think it's authentic.

Large portions for a good price. The sushi was excellent! We would have liked a little more sauce on the bowls, but we were still happy with the food. The service was also very friendly and attentive :)

When we entered the restaurant we were greeted warmly and immediately asked how many people we were. We quickly found a table, but I soon noticed that it was straining my back too much. So we looked for another place, further back in the restaurant, but we didn't feel completely comfortable there because we had the impression that we wouldn't be undisturbed. Eventually the friendly waitress led us to another table further back – and that turned out to be the perfect choice. I chose a vegan Thai curry and a rose tea with goji berries and a little honey for sweetness. The others also ordered their food and tea each. When the food was served we were surprised by the size of the bowls, which were generously filled. We were thrilled with the first bite: the taste was exceptional, the fresh salads were delicious and all in all a real treat. We each drank a large tea with our dishes - ginger tea, jasmine tea and rose tea - and each one impressed us with its wonderful taste. Overall we thought it was very good value for money, the portions were generous and of excellent quality. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

Review edited. Used to be my favorite Asian in Cologne, but unfortunately it has faded. I once ordered takeaway and there was far too little sauce in the curry dish, not enough for the rice. The composition of the dishes has also changed and I no longer like the taste so much. The summer rolls are still good but for me personally there isn't enough dip.

On recommendation. But unfortunately never again: Ordered Pho Bo Supe. Broth completely tasteless and pale. Ask for a little fresh chili and lemon. There are no lemons (traditional in Vietnam). Promised chili, didn't get it. Service is zero, atmosphere not really clean. Snack or not, I expected more.

Wow, I have rarely been as enthusiastic about the dishes in Cologne as I was at Hanoi 36. Ehrenfeld has a culinary highlight here. Price/performance top! We'll definitely be back. P.S. My personal recommendation is to order the papaya salad as a starter.

A small but incredibly charming café that delights us every time. The banh mi bo kho is absolutely delicious – the perfect combination of tender meat and crispy baguette. The Vietnamese coffee rounds the whole thing off wonderfully. Everything is just right here: friendly service, cozy atmosphere and authentic dishes. We are always happy to eat here. Absolutely recommended!
