The 4 servings of chicken feet brought home were unacceptable, the chicken feet were black as if they had been fried over and over again with old oil. Will never come back to order food here.

The restaurant is nicely presented and is reminiscent of a Vietnamese street food scene. Unfortunately the food was bland, but looked good. The service was friendly, but unfortunately didn't understand German well enough to answer my questions about the dishes. Maybe next time it will be better.

There were three of us there and I already knew the restaurant. Again I wasn't disappointed, we love the ambience and the service was really friendly. The interior design is based on a street food scene in Vietnam. We were here with 3 generations from 5 - 62 years. The 2 students in their 20s are both vegan. Everyone meets their own taste here. Super tasty Vietnamese tapas or complete meals. Even the drinks are lovingly prepared. The service is perfect, friendly and fond of children. We would be happy to come here again.

The food is delicious, there are beautiful and super friendly staff, unfortunately there is no old vermicelli with tofu and shrimp paste anymore, the rest of the dishes are delicious, the price is okay, I think I give it 0 points, but there is no point to criticize. :)) The restaurant has beautiful decor, good music, near the pier so it's easy to get around. Ordered from Uber Eats and it was a huge failure. The spring rolls were fried to death and just tasted greasy. The main course was watery and had little flavor, except a bit spicy, nothing of cinnamon and anise. No fresh spices or toppings. Peanuts, basil and lemongrass were missing. Mushy rice. With the Mango Sticky Rice I had unripe, green mangoes and the dessert was the best part of the carelessly cooked meal. It's a shame, I would have expected more.

Cheapest price among Vietnamese restaurants I've ever eaten at. The space is spacious and the staff is friendly. Payment has girocard swiping function. Mastercard has not. Last Saturday, I booked a table at the restaurant to gather for a meal with my family. Before that, I also saw a few bad reviews about the restaurant, but the food is different for everyone, so I still decided to choose the restaurant to experience it. . First of all, the restaurant space is decorated quite eye-catching and clean, the staff that day my family came to visit and take care of the guests very well. My family ordered 2 special large hot pot sets for a total of 10 adults and 3 children, added 3 extra plates to eat (shrimp, beef) and also ordered fried chicken wings, fried rice and stir-fried noodles with beef and mustard greens. you guys.
My family was all very satisfied and pleased with the hot pot meal that day. There was nothing to complain about the fragrant, sour and spicy hot pot dipped in meat, vegetables and fresh seafood (I have included photos below). My family has a pretty strong appetite, so we order an extra plate of dip. If we have less appetite, just the food in the set is enough because the plate of dip in the set is actually super big and full. My family booked a table in advance and went to the restaurant on Friday night. The restaurant was quite crowded but the space was still spacious enough. I ordered a portion of blood sausage, la Vong fish cake, snails with tamarind sauce and 1 mango salad to quench my boredom, plus 1 fried spring roll, chicken wings for the kids. Quite impressed with the restaurant's La Vong fish cake, which is very flavorful and also quite unique, the sausage and snail dishes are okay and ok to eat. As for the two dishes for children, I found that my children quite liked the chicken wings and fried spring rolls. I tried them and found nothing special. To summarize the meal for the whole family, I find the price quite reasonable with the space and quality of food provided. Hope the restaurant can maintain the quality of food and service, and will come back to experience it again.

I was invited by a friend to eat at the restaurant. First of all, I have to say that the restaurant space looks quite nice and cozy. Our group ordered 1 hot pot and a few additional side dishes, but the most impressive thing was still the special hot pot with a deliciously seasoned broth and a plate of mixed tripe that was clean and not smelly, but the dish was still delicious. Again, I think it's okay and beautifully decorated. I'll come back to try other dishes.

I had the Green Lake vegan dish with “chicken”. It was super tasty. The service was very attentive and super friendly. The service was quick and tidy. The ambience matches the name. The walls are decorated in sections like different storefronts.

Mixed starter plate a big disappointment, tasteless, fried things. Sauce for the main course was very watery and tasteless. Overall an unpleasant experience.

What we thought we would get versus what we actually got from the tapas. It was awful and with the little description of what was in it and when it came it was cold and really only had meat inside so my Vegetarian girlfriend could have none of it. €25 for that is crazy. The fried tofu we ordered (photo 3) was barely fried and incredibly soft and undercooked. The delivery took well over an hour so all the food was cold. Would never order from here again and have contacted Ubereats for a food safety complaint.

We ordered from Uber eats and were totally disappointed. The starter platter was not at all as advertised. Summer rolls with avocado and tofu and with rocket and without coriander (supposedly authentic cuisine?!), instead of with shrimp (of course, cheaper for the restaurant), no small curry, no salad, no edamame, no beef in lot leaves... that Sauces were completely different and not homemade (run-of-the-mill sweet and sour sauce and chili mayo instead of Nam Pla or something similar as pictured). So actually everything was completely different than described. The banh mi was also really bad. You can tell that there has been a huge saving on quality here! But not because of the price. A starter platter for over 25 euros for 2 people (Uber eats price) in THE quality and so different from what was described - sorry but that's not possible. We won't be ordering from you in the future - if that's how it's going, then going to a restaurant is more than out of the question.

The service was very friendly. My food got delivered quickly and everything tasted great. I really enjoyed the home made passionfruit iced tea. The green curry with fried rice and duck was delicious too.

I found a Vietnamese restaurant near where I live, I think it will be okay but I ordered a special hotpot for 2-3 people, along with fried spring rolls but it was quite hard as if it had been left for a long time. space and cartilage, the service staff is enthusiastic, the space is spacious, airy, clean. I don't know what I ate here that made my stomach feel bad after leaving the restaurant. I I think this is my suggestion for the restaurant to be able to improve the food better and not let customers suffer like me. Delicious Vietnamese food in a very well decorated restaurant. The service was very kind and we got the food very fast. However, we had to wait quite long to get our bill at the end, probably due to the fact that there were more people in the restaurant when we finished and only one waiter to attend us all. The atmosphere could have been improved with some background music too. But overall, we had a good time there.

The first time I ate at Ngon Ngon 1970 with friends and family was in March 2022 - I only half liked the food because it was tasty, but didn't particularly stand out (e.g. the Angry Bird Curry dish or br . Rice with duck). That certain something was missing. The ambience may not be appealing to everyone, but I really enjoyed it. The neon signs and other posters may be a bit kitschy, but they convey a special flair. When I ate there again, I tried the special Vietnamese specialties and was amazed. I particularly enjoyed the dish Bún Chả (rice noodles with fish sauce and grilled meat). I really like drinking Chanh đá (Vietnamese lemon or in this case lime iced tea). I also found the classic Bánh Mì (Vietnamese baguette) extremely good. The service is always very courteous and helpful. We felt completely taken care of and comfortable. And the price-performance ratio is also right in my opinion. I now enjoy eating there more regularly because the standard is consistent and the selection is large enough.

Ich habe mich mit meiner Begleitung durch das vegane Sortiment gegessen und ganz besonders die veganen Schrimps waren die besten die ich bisher gegessen habe. Auch wenn man weiß, dass diese vegan sind, ist der Geschmack eins zu eins.

Ngon Ngon 1970s stands out from other Vietnamese restaurants in Cologne for its retro decor and quirky menu. You would be transported back to the 70s with some old decorations. And the menu features many dishes you would not normally find in many other places, actually more foods paired with drinks. And you would not find Pho on the menu, or at least on the Vietnamese language menu (do I not mention that there are more than one menu)

Einfacher Vietnamese auf den Ringen und gut mit den Öffis zu erreichen. Das Lokal selbst ist einfach eingerichtet und hat eher den Flair eines Imbiss. Die Karte bietet einen Querschnitt durch die vietnamesische Küche und hat eigentlich für jeden etwas zu bieten. Die von uns bestellten Gerichte waren durchweg sehr lecker, gut gewürzt und optisch schön angerichtet. Serviert wurde das Ganze von einem freundlichen jungen Mann. Alles in allem eine Empfehlung für den, der die vietnamesische Küche mag.

Waren hier zu fünft Abendessen und waren alle sehr zufrieden… Besonders die hausgemachten Getränke und die Vorspeise mit Garnelen haben mir gut gefallen👍

Das ist mal richtig gutes Essen!! Die Tapasplatte für 2 war schon echt Klasse- frisch,lecker, ...einfach richtig gut. Wir sind zwar noch lange nicht fertig, aber es wird von Platte zu Platte besser! Und das, obwohl es so unscheinbar an der Strasse liegt. .. Das das Personal unglaublich nett und aufmerksam ist, versteht sich da fast von selbst! Danke!

Ein sehr cooles Restaurant in Mitten von Köln… Komm ich kurz zum Ambiente. Das Restaurant ist cool aufgemacht und hat eine coole, leichtfrohe schlichte Einrichtung. Wie mehrere Restaurants an einer verkehrsstarken Straße, was das Ambiente leicht stören kann. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr nett. Alles ging sehr fix. Sie sind immer sehr freundlich, egal wie stressig es gerade ist. Die Essensportionen sind sehr gut. Das Preis-Leistungsverhälntnis ist super. Es werden frische Zutaten verwendet. Auch vegane Alternativen sind gegeben, mehr als nur immer Tofu, gibt es hier veganes Hähnchen oder vegane Garnelen.
