Ich war heute mit meiner Frau zum Essen dort, nachdem wir schon oft dort vorbei gefahren sind. Das Essen war sehr lecker und qualitativ hochwertig. Der Service war super und es war ein sehr schöner Besuch. Die Preise sind wirklich gut und ich wäre sogar bereit bei der Qualität mehr zu zahlen. Wir freuen uns schon sehr auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Very friendly service, delicious food, and they also have vegetarian options. We didn't have to wait long for our food. At just under €35 including a starter and dessert, plus drinks, the price is really reasonable. The music wasn't too loud, so you could easily have a conversation.

I went on a friend's recommendation. I've eaten at many Asian restaurants, but this one was very different. The menus were delicious and filling, and one of my favorite features was the photos. 😄 The waitress was very friendly and practical. You can communicate very well in English and German. It's a nice environment for a family gathering. We were here for a business meeting and had a great time.

We've eaten at Onkel Hai several times now, and each time we've received a very warm welcome and good advice on our meal choices. The menu is very varied and offers something for every taste. The service and atmosphere are very pleasant. We can't complain! The price is reasonable considering the portion sizes. Overall, we're completely satisfied and always enjoy eating here☺️ Highly recommended!! A small note about delivery: !!!Order through their own delivery service, and the food always arrives extremely quickly and still hot!!! (Unfortunately, we've had more problems with Lieferando so far, as other items were apparently being delivered at the same time, and our food therefore arrived cold.)

Very nice restaurant with excellent food. As a vegetarian, I had a wide selection of tofu dishes (I especially recommend the tofu in peanut butter sauce :) ). There's also a large selection for meat eaters with excellent sauces (we ordered the duck with chili ginger sauce). The portions are very generous and the value for money is excellent! The owners are also super friendly, and the service is great. Card payments are accepted for amounts over €20. It's definitely worth a visit!

I don't want to exaggerate, but I haven't enjoyed such good Chinese food in a long time (or ever?). Large portions, everything delicious and freshly prepared. Absolutely reasonable prices! And the staff are very friendly and attentive. I've been here twice now and will definitely be back! I hope this restaurant lasts longer than its predecessors!

A very nice and cozy restaurant, centrally located in Widdersdorf. They don't pretend to be Chinese, but are authentic and their food is impressive. It was definitely worth a visit!

We ordered delivery directly from Onkel Hai. The phone call was very friendly, and the gentleman personally delivered the food. The sweet and sour duck, chicken curry, and the children's dish of fried noodles with chicken were all completely fresh, crispy, and truly delicious! Hopefully Onkel Hai stays in Widdersdorf! We'll be back soon! :-)

Very tasty, clean, good opening hours

We visited "Onkel Hai" for the first time last week and were completely satisfied! The food was truly delicious, and the service was very attentive and friendly. We also found the prices and portion sizes to be fair – they also offer a lunch menu that's even cheaper. We highly recommend this restaurant and hope it lasts longer than its predecessor!

The latte macchiato is not recommended.

Food was reasonable, unfortunately so strong on the European taste that it was even too bland for the Dutch tongues in my company. Service was friendly, atmosphere was nice.

I ordered for pickup for the first time today and didn't even know the store existed! The PHO soup with chicken was really tasty and fresh , and the fried chicken pieces are nice and crispy. The store is super clean and the staff is super friendly.

Despite pre-ordering from a larger group, we had to wait up to two hours for the food - that's just not possible. The portions are far too small for the price. Two spoons of vegetables with tofu and a small pile of rice for €18 is really disproportionate. The service was nice, but totally overwhelmed.

We tried Thi Time today because our favorite Asian snack bar wasn't in Widdersdorf. It was a bit more expensive, but in the nice atmosphere with comfortable seating and super-friendly service, that's probably appropriate. We chose two dishes from the daily menu, both of which were very freshly prepared and flavorful. Nevertheless, we ate some of the homemade fish sauce because it was so delicious. Absolute recommendation. We'll be back. In summer you can sit outside!

We ate here with 6 people, 2 of whom were vegetarians. To put it briefly: starters, main courses and dessert were very good, delicately seasoned and visually beautiful. None of us understand why anyone here complains about the size of the portions. My husband and I had the leftovers packed up and we will continue feasting this evening. The service was attentive and very friendly. There is absolutely nothing to complain about... PS: We are no stranger to Vietnamese cuisine, and this restaurant can definitely compete with the better ones.

We've been here twice within a few weeks, the food is very tasty and fresh. I wasn't a big fan of Bún before, but I became one here. The selection of sauces and chili oil for seasoning is also great. The service is very courteous and friendly. In my opinion, the prices for the dishes are reasonable, although the starters could be a bit cheaper. However, if I go out for a nice meal and the quality is excellent, then that doesn't bother me. For us there is nothing to complain about here and we will definitely come back more often!

Four of us ate at Thi Time and unfortunately our expectations were disappointed. The prices are disproportionate to the quality and quantity of the food. The portions were small and far from what we expected for this price. As starters we chose the summer rolls, the spring rolls and a wonton soup. At almost €10 per starter, I definitely expected more. The wonton soup was tiny and contained hardly any ingredients. The summer rolls seemed carelessly rolled up and the spring rolls had the clear taste of frozen goods. For the main courses we chose the beef, fish, duck and chicken. Here too, the prices were high at over €20 per dish, but the quality was more at the level of a snack bar. The beef was supposed to be fried, but seemed like it was just steamed along with the noodles. The noodles were bland and the plate was carelessly prepared and much too small. There was hardly any meat in the chicken dish, the fish was literally drowning in the sauce and the duck was far too fatty. We were hoping this restaurant could compete with the established Thai and Vietnamese restaurants downtown. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Here you get snack quality at prices that you would expect in fine dining. Very unfortunate.

I only discovered the restaurant by chance. It was then tried out quite quickly. The service is top here. Very friendly and pleasantly relaxed. We were served quickly. Everything is explained, you get a whole set of sauces to season things up. We were asked if we liked coriander, which in my opinion. It's not even absolutely necessary if you consciously go out to eat Vietnamese. The food was very fresh and very tasty. The mixed appetizer platter offers a little bit of everything, and the dips are absolutely delicious. Overall, the food is quite "light" - nothing swims in oil here. Everything is pleasantly seasoned. The prices are a bit higher here, but it is a real restaurant and not a "snack bar". The map is small, but I personally think that's good. Shows that everything is made fresh and there is a little bit of everything on the menu. There are also changing specials. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. We'll definitely be back.

When it comes to the food, we unfortunately cannot agree with the good reviews. We ate there with 4 adults, had 3 different starters and 4 different main courses. We were only satisfied with the duck dish, everything else was a bit bland and not appropriate in terms of price/performance ratio. Very little beef, chicken and fish in the dish, vegetables are still far too al dente, beef is more cooked than seared,… We were really hoping to find a new local restaurant here that would save us the trips to the city center. Compared to Asian restaurants in the city center, the quality is rather poor. If you like authentic Vietnamese, you won't find it here. The service was friendly, but not attentive. For reordered soft drinks, the bottles were just placed on the table, no new glass, no new ice cubes. There wasn't enough setting on our table for one person, we didn't even notice and we had to ask for cutlery. The plates (not the portions!) are too small, you don't know where to use the cutlery. We liked the furnishings and the ambience, the terrace looks really cozy. However, we also had the impression that the location would rather be a wine bar and not a restaurant.

Excellent restaurant in Widdersdorf. I've eaten there many times, always top quality, brilliant Vietnamese cuisine, super friendly waiters and waitresses. I ate there with great joy and enjoyment most recently on my birthday. I'll check back often and enjoy 👍👍👍

We were there for the first time today. It was surprisingly full. This caused the service to struggle a bit. The waitress was friendly despite the full house, the food was very good (everyone enjoyed it). We'll definitely come back again.

Been there a few times, always tasty and nice. Team is very friendly and personal. You can safely ignore bad reviews here that complain about coriander and make claims about frozen food. And if the guests aren't able to estimate the costs when ordering, then maybe they'd rather eat at home... ;-)

It was a big disappointment. We were there with five people. We had reserved. The seating is good. The staff was totally overwhelmed. Every order was asked twice and then the food served was not as ordered. For example, we are not fans of the spice coriander. We expressly said this when ordering and asked not to use coriander. Coriander was used everywhere. CORRIDENT The food was very reminiscent of frozen goods and deep fryers. Hamburgers were very small and dry. The rolls were too big and over-seasoned, instead of noodles with vegetables, there were noodles with chicken, instead of duck without coriander there was duck with lots of coriander. The waiter was kind enough to remove the coriander from the duck in the kitchen. There was no fresh duck as the waiter announced. In addition, the quantities of the food were very clear. Even the simplest order was incorrect. And then the bill came. It was over 130 EURO for bad food and bad service. A well-kept ambience is no use.

We are from Widdersdorf ourselves. And we spontaneously had dinner here this evening. The spring rolls were great. Very nice service, who remained friendly and communicative even under stress. Just the right thing to end the week relaxed.

We really wanted to try it out and give the new restaurant in the village a chance. Reserved a table, was hungry and then was intercepted at the entrance and asked out again because we had our little dog with us. The owner doesn't want that...this was the first restaurant in my life where I wasn't allowed to take my dog ​​with me. That's not how it works with the neighborhood. A pity

What a service experience that still exists. And the food tastes good too! Clear recommendation. We were warmly greeted and received. While ordering there was already advice about the food. All sauces were explained in terms of taste so that you knew what level of spiciness to expect. We had the starter platter and I wanted to share a main course with my child. I had communicated this and expected a plate. The food came divided directly onto two plates. Mega. Someone thinks for you. The food was fresh with crunchy vegetables. At the end there was even a doggy bag to take the leftovers with you. All in all, a clear recommendation. The restaurant is accessible via stairs and a ramp. Wir haben mit unserer Belegschaft eine sehr schöne Weihnachtsfeier im Thi Time gehalten. Thi und ihr Team haben alles dafür getan, dass wir eine gute Zeit hatten. Der Kontakt während der Planung war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert und das Essen war fein. Als Asienreisende fand ich es eher mild, aber es war überhaupt kein Problem, sich extra Chilis und Limonen zu bestellen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Essen ist in Ordnung. Beim Schweinebauch hätte man mehr erwartet, war leider nur angebratene Speckstreifen. Die Portionsgröße ist angesichts der gehobenen Preise zu klein.

Endlich mal ein Laden mit Ambiente in Widdersdorf, es gibt einen hervorragenden Cafe, die gestaltung der Einrichtung sowie die Mitarbeiter*innen schaffen eine schöne Atmosphäre die einen willkommen fühlen lässt und das Essen ist Vergleich zu den anderen Restaurants mal eine angenehme Erfrischung. Von mir gibts fünf Sterne und ich freue mich auf die künftigen Wochen Specials.
