C.C. Kowalski in Köln

Wir haben heute Abend dort gegessen. Das Essen war gut und ansprechend zubereitet. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise waren angemessen. Wir können das Restaurant weiterempfehlen!

Tolle Location, mitten im beliebten Ausgehviertel von Köln. …Hier schenkt einem der Chef auch schonmal eine Weinschorle aufs Haus. Bravo!

Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen! Sehr schönes Erlebnis, netter Service! Mein einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre eine englische Speisekarte (auch wenn ich die Landessprache liebe, ist Englisch einfach praktischer), aber ansonsten war es fantastisch.

Leider war das Essen eine echte Enttäuschung. Schnitzel versalzen und der Spargel total bitter und holzig. Für die Preise hätte man etwas mehr erwarten können. Hier lieber nur zum Trinken hingehen.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Klassische Gerichte werden hier auf ein neues Niveau gehoben, und die Eigenkreationen sind besonders lecker und erfrischend. Gemütliche Atmosphäre, freundlicher Service und gute Getränke. Der Chef und seine Frau sind zudem unglaublich herzlich und sorgen dafür, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ich komme aus einem anderen Land und die Bedienung durch eine ältere Dame war extrem unhöflich, nur weil ich auf die Toilette gehen wollte und einen Kaffee bestellt und bezahlt hatte… Wenn man einem Kunden einen Service bietet, sollte man gute Manieren haben.

Service ist top. Schnell und kompetent. Gerne wieder.

Ich war bereits mehrmals bei Kowalski essen - und leider hat die Value-for-Money Ratio nachgelassen… Nudeln mit Wildfang-Garnelen für 30€ zahle ich gerne, wenn die Qualität des Tellers den Preis widerspiegelt, war leider nicht der Fall…. Auch der Service war dieses mal nicht so erfrischend wie sonst und Teller wurden lange nicht abgeräumt etc. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass Preise und Service wieder im Einklang mit einander sind, da ich die Atmosphäre und Lage sehr gerne mag

Ich bin hier schon ein paar mal Abends für einen Drink gewesen und hatte immer eine tolle Zeit. Die Atmosphäre direkt am Brüsseler ist wirklich toll. Die Preise sind für die Lage, zumindest für die Drinks, adäquat.

Die Rheinischen Muscheln im C.C. Kowalski waren frisch, sauber zubereitet und zusammen mit dem Schwarzbrot sehr stimmig. Der Service arbeitete aufmerksam und zuverlässig. Das Restaurant kann in vollem Umfang empfohlen werden, und ein weiterer Besuch steht für mich außer Frage. Dank an das Team!

C.C. Kowalski ist großartig! Sehr sehr angenehme und aufmerksame Kellner (auch Kellnerinnen, aber habe einen Lieblingskellner). Auch sehr netter aufmerksamer Inhaber. Kellner merken sich dein Gesicht und auch Standard-Bestellung (!) wenn man öfter kommt. Tolle und große Auswahl an alkoholfreien Getränken, tolle Weinkarte. Extrem gutes hochwertiges Essen (Aioli & Muscheln unnormal lecker). Komme seit Jahren regelmäßig. Neben „La Belgique“ mein Geheimtipp. Bitte nicht zu vielen „Tünnes“ erzählen. LG

Wahrscheinlich das beste Schnitzel, was ich hatte! ABER.. nicht nur das Essen brilliert, sondern auch der Service. Bei unserem Besuch ein Dessert aufs Haus zu bekommen ist nicht der Standard und mit Sicherheit für uns unvergesslich. Merci!

A beautiful, well-kept restaurant in the heart of the Belgian Quarter. A fine selection of food and drinks, and friendly service. We visited yesterday for an aperitif for the first time and would love to come back!

A very stylish and pleasant restaurant. Its location in the Belgian Quarter is automatically a plus. Furthermore, the elegance of the interior, the friendly waiters, and the quality of the food, even if it is a bit pricey, prompted me to give it five points.

My husband and I went here for dinner and it did not disappoint. The service was great and the food was amazing!

First went for a drink and the next day came back for dinner. What a great place this is with a great atmosphere and just as great staff! Definitely recommended for a delicious meal and drinks!

I saw delicious food and great, attentive service. A little more flair through decor or a bit of a "coziness" would have been nicer for me, but that's subjective and shouldn't deter a visit. I was very satisfied with everything.

I didn't really want to write a negative review, but dealing with such a trivial situation was simply impossible. I've eaten at this restaurant several times, but today we were unlucky: There was a short hair in my schnitzel. Naturally, that ruined my girlfriend's and my appetite. We politely pointed this out to the waiter. His first reaction? He couldn't see a hair. After we showed him, the matter could have been easily resolved, but what followed was nothing but embarrassing. Another employee came back with the plate and claimed they couldn't find a hair. Why this unnecessary discussion? We never said we didn't want to pay or expect compensation; we just wanted the bill and to leave. Instead, a third, visibly outraged employee came to our table to also discuss the matter. Honestly: A simple apology would have sufficed. But no, instead, they argued and rambled on until the evening was completely ruined. The plates were full, we were hungry, what would have been the point of simply sending the food back if it wasn't right? Absolutely unprofessional and a shame.

Delicious food, excellent service and good atmosphere. Don't worry. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. The dessert is also 10.

Good attention They offer a selection of German cuisine, very carefully prepared, well presented and very appetizing. I would say satisfaction guaranteed. The desserts, with a minimal offer, are delicious. Good selection of beers.

Wowwww... What a "discovery" for us... We had the Wiener Schnitzel... it couldn't be better... well baked... mashed potatoes with truffles... very nice cucumber salad with it... Super dear boss in service.. We felt so beautifully arrived... Thank you 🫶👌👌👌

I can absolutely recommend the small restaurant in the Belgian Quarter of Cologne. The service was great and the food was a taste experience. We will definitely come back next time we are in Cologne.

We enjoyed a special evening at Kowalski. The food was delicious, the service was quick and unobtrusive. My highlight was the charming barman and his delicious drinks. Based on the drinks alone, this won't be our last evening at Kowalski!

Mit direktem Blick auf dem Brüsseler Platz gehört das CC Kowalski zu unseren Lieblingsrestaurants in Köln. Das Essen ist super lecker und der Service top! Die Weine sind ebenfalls sehr gut! Das Schnitzel ist immer perfekt! Absolute Empfehlung!

We spontaneously went there for dinner on the weekend as tourists and ate an extremely delicious, fresh, healthy salad with olives and parmesan. The two waiters were so nice and attentive. Incomprehensible! Rarely experienced in this form... If I could, I would give it even more stars!!!!

Food was delicious, especially the octopus as starter. The service was also really kind and patient. I would highly recommend eating here.

The Kowalski is always something special! The service is very attentive and courteous! You are warmly welcomed, shown to the table (which is clean! Unfortunately not a given in Cologne), the wine selection is appropriate and the dishes... well they are really good! The Wiener Schnitzel (veal!) is the classic at Kowalski. I found the pasta to be the real reason to go here! Whether linguine with chanterelles or the stuffed fig ravioli with rocket and walnuts are a real recommendation! I just love being here!

A small, cozy restaurant with delicious food. The service was very nice and we didn't have to wait long for the dish. We simply ordered pork loin with truffle puree - it was delicious. We also received an appetizer.

At Kowalski, Kölsch isn't just served, it rules! Here you feel part of the furniture more quickly than in your own shared apartment. The landlord, a real original, only knows two drink requests: “Kölsch” and “Another Kölsch”. The humor is as dry as the Cologne heart is cheerful. When you enter Kowalski, you immerse yourself in a world where the clocks are set to Kölsch time - and it is always set to "Prost". In short: Kowalski is like a carnival in a glass, only funnier because you remember everything the next day!

Ich war 3 Tage in Köln, davon zweimal im Kowalski beim Mittagessen. Abgesehen von der sofort einladenden, sympathischer Atmosphäre samt zuckersüßer Eigentümerin (?)/ „bedienender Mama“ haben Speis und Trank absolute Spitzenqualität und das Auge isst mehr als gern mit. Steht nun ab sofort bei jedem Kölnbesuch auf der Agenda.

Toller Laden. Ich esse wenig Fleisch, aber hier gibt es ein Schnitzel, da lohnt es eine Ausnahme zu machen. Die Bänke draußen sind nur so bequem wie sie aussehen, also nicht für einen längeren Abend.

Was für ein hervorragendes Restaurant. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Samstagabend mit leckerem Essen, Hirschgulasch mit köstlichem Rotkohl, leckerem Rotwein und einem aufmerksamen und super tollen Servicepersonal. Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt.

Kleine Karte, freundlicher spritziger Service, köstliches Essen, schöne Atmo, korrekte Preise. Ein rundum gelungener Abend. So einfach und es kriegen so viele andere einfach nicht hin.
