Nice restaurant with initially quite inattentive, then friendly service. Unfortunately, only one of the 5 dishes was able to convince us halfway; the udon noodles, the papaya salad and the curry generally lacked salt and a more intense taste. The udon noodles in a thin sweet and sour sauce seemed completely unseasoned and bland. Overall rather disappointing. The lemonades were good.

The service was absolutely great! We have rarely received such competent and friendly service. The food for our son was prepared extra quickly (toddler with a lot of hunger🙈) without us asking. This made the waiting time more pleasant for us, even though it was really short. Our food was also very tasty. All in all, we had a really great lunch and are super satisfied. 😊 We would be happy to recommend you!

RASISMUS!!! Even though we had a reservation for 4 people, there were empty tables before they let us in, but they were for others, we had a reservation, what kind of irresponsibility is this? I showed the reservation on the phone, but they shouted at us and were very rude. We were subjected to racism because we were not German. I did not have to speak good German. This place would never be my choice.

Ambience good, rest unfortunately poor. Among other things, we had a dish with baked chicken breasts. Quite unusual in taste. It wasn't tender but "al dente", like chewing on a slice of carrot. The sauce was also unusually watery. In addition, the food was served after about 20 minutes. The food looks good visually, but taste should play a larger role here.

Where do a vegan + a flexitarian go if they want to eat delicious food? They are going to HANOI!!! It is advisable to reserve a table in advance as it is usually very busy. The menu offers plenty of choice, including... unusual dishes with duck or chicken flavor. We had the spring rolls and the beetroot salad as starters. Both prepared very tasty. I would have liked fresh beetroot better in the salad, but here it was from a jar. The two main courses were visually very appealing and tasted delicious. Absolute recommendation - also for flexitarians!!!

When it comes to food, I can't decide clearly between 3 and 4 stars. I would definitely give the service and staff as well as hygiene a 3.8 because there were small mistakes made like the food was mixed up, friendliness, etc. but the ambience and the furnishings clearly turned out better than the other two. Nice and simple furnishings, the sound of others is well absorbed by the furnishings and it seems quieter than it is when eating (+.) (Addendum)(Eat 2nd time) We asked if we could pay but had to wait a long time.

Wow, I have rarely been as enthusiastic about the dishes in Cologne as I was at Hanoi 36. Ehrenfeld has a new culinary highlight. Price/performance top! We'll definitely be back. P.S. My personal recommendation is to order the papaya salad as a starter.

Can only recommend the restaurant! Price-performance ratio is more than good. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is served in large portions and tastes fresh! In addition, special requests are taken into account.

I've spent hundreds of euros here with friends since the restaurant followed the Chinese restaurant Hua Lin, because the food is really good and I live in the neighborhood. Compared to the neighboring Vietnamese restaurant, this one is smaller, simply and simply furnished, with close seating and no frills. What is convincing here is the food. Today, after a while, I wanted to quickly eat something alone on the way home. But all tables were occupied, except for a table for 4 without a reserved sign. I've often sat here alone at tables of four during the day, even when smaller ones were free. I sat down and the waiter asked me rather bluntly, what would you like? What do you want in the restaurant, the menu please! I found this stupid question about what I wanted there to be completely inappropriate. Then they said that if they were alone, they couldn't sit there and had to wait until a smaller table became available. I need the table. So it wasn't a question of having a reservation for this table, as I could apparently have stayed seated if other people had come. I should probably wait in front of the door for a free small table, as everything was packed and you couldn't even stand anywhere while waiting and there was no waiting area in the narrow restaurant. This could certainly have been communicated in a more polite and friendly manner, e.g. I can move them straight away if a smaller table becomes available, but I'll bring you the card in advance and I would have e.g. B. I wouldn't have minded if someone had been seated next to me. I just wanted to eat something quickly and then I would have left immediately. How about a sign, please wait, we'll be happy to put it up straight away. Unfortunately, that was it for me with this restaurant, where individual guests are not welcome in order to maximize profits in the evening, despite mostly good and tasty cuisine. There are two Asian alternatives next door, where I was always served courteously, even as a single guest, and what counts for me in addition to the food is simply the politeness of the staff. I would like to emphasize that the food is good (that's why I visit Hanoi more often) but unfortunately there has always been a bit of a problem with the young service here, things were forgotten, brought incorrectly, people were overlooked... My experience today, which doesn't relate to that Food - which I didn't receive - but can only relate to today's service, so unfortunately I can only rate it with one star. .

The atmosphere of the restaurant, the friendly people, the delicious smells of the food and ultimately the taste experience. In short, highly recommended to eat here. We will definitely go here again next time we are in Cologne.

I immersed myself in delicious Vietnamese cuisine while sharing stories and laughter with locals and other travelers. Hanoi 36 became much more than a place to enjoy good food; It was a meeting point where hospitality and tradition merged to create unforgettable memories.

I'm really not a fan of Asian food. But this place has everything you're looking for in a restaurant. Great friendly waiters. Clean restaurant. Food with quality as well as effort.

A quick note that you can't pay by card would have been good. Unfortunately in front of the shop and not visible on the map.

That was really tasty! We ended up in Hanoi spontaneously, luckily got a place, and surprisingly had a good meal. Great food, attentive nice staff.

Very friendly staff. Food great, prices absolutely reasonable. It was absolutely delicious. There is only a deduction because it is a bit cramped and it got very cold when the door opened every few minutes.

I really hesitate with the rating. A few weeks ago I visited this restaurant for the first time with a friend and we were pleasantly surprised. Great service and extremely delicious food. We were really looking forward to coming back today. Last time we noticed how clean the tables and menus were. Today they both stuck together quite strongly. When asked, the waitress cleaned the table again, but left out the area directly in front of us... Well, unfortunately I touch the table. I ordered duck and what came was chicken. They tried to fix the error as quickly as possible and after a few minutes the problem came. I still have a disgusting taste in my mouth from it. Since they were trying so hard to fix the mistake as quickly as possible, the duck was obviously fried at high speed right down to the core. Nothing juicy anymore, hardly any meat left, essentially a duck chip. Unfortunately, that was a very extreme contrast to the really tasty and very digestible duck from last time. Also a contrast to the extremely courteous and well-organized waiter from last time. With two such different visits, only a third attempt will help. The first time it was really fresh and extremely tasty. Unfortunately not today.

Ein wirklich nettes, gemütlich eingerichtetes kleines Restaurant mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Das Essen kam zügig und war wirklich schmackhaft und auch die Getränke waren gut & nicht so überteuert wie leider so oft. Was mir am besten gefallen hat, war das knackige Gemüse und die Saucen. Aber auch das Fleisch und die Udon-Nudeln waren wirklich gut. Auf jeden Fall Wiederholungsfaktor 😊👍🏻💕

Pho war sehr wrässig und fad im geschnack. Glaube war noch nicht durchgezogen. Es war auch zu süß für uns.

Also war das erste mal dort und muss sagen, beim nächsten mal Köln auf jeden Fall wieder. Das Essen mega lecker und die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Hatte vorweg eine Suppe und dachte mir, ok bei dem Preis wie immer eine kleine Schale, aber was soll ich sagen mehr als gute Prortion. Mega lecker . Preis Leistung demnach Top, nur zu empfehlen

Ich habe Pho mit knuspriger Ente bestellt. Es war wirklich sehr lecker und nicht zu salzig, wie es häufig der Fall ist. Die Zitrone hat noch mal das gewisse etwas dazu gegeben. Ich persönlich esse nicht gerne scharf, meine Begleitung war leider etwas zu mutig und hat sich zu viel Chilli in die Pho getan. Daher mein Hinweis, lieber erst mal klein anfangen 😜

Ach wie lecker war es, die Pho ist genial und die Sommerrollen lassen auf Sonne hoffen. Der Preis ist adäquat und der Service ist immer nett. Ein wirklich angenehmes Fleckchen Erde mitten in Ehrenfeld. Nur zu empfehlen, ein kleines Manko, es gibt leider keine Kartenzahlung. Aber das vergisst man schnell beim Essen!

Sehr leckere Gerichte mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet und sehr heiß serviert. Toller & freundlicher Service. Sehr aufmerksames Personal ;) man muss nicht lange auf seine Bestellung warten ;) ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen top ;) und sauber war es auch noch ;)

Der Service war super Aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Auch das Essen hier ist sehr lecker. Aber wer im Jahr 2023 immer noch keine Kartenzahlung akzeptiert, kann von mir keine 5 Sterne bekommen. Ansonsten definitiv zu empfehlen.

War vor Ort. Der Service war freundlich. Die Pho Suppe war unter den besten, die ich bisher hatte. Die Brühe war kräftig, schön gewürzt, die Schärfe konnte man selbst hinzugeben, was mit Kindern super ist. Fleisch und Nudeln in ausreichender Menge, zuviel hätte gestört. Da wir aus Berlin zugezogen sind und unsere Kinder gutes Pho lieben könnte es mit dem Laden was langfristiges werden.... ;-) Liefern sie auch in den Norden Kölns (innerhalb des Autobahnrings)?

Richtig starker Vietnamese in Ehrenfeld! Wenig Sitzplätze aber es lohnt sich. Die Karte ist interessant, die Gerichte schmecken super gut.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 18 Uhr bestellt, um dann um 20 Uhr in ein Musical zu gehen. Leider hat man unsere Bestellung vergessen. Wir sprachen das Personal mehrfach darauf an, nach fast 1,5 h bekamen wir dann die Hauptspeissen (Vorspeisen und Getränke kamen in angemessener Zeit). In der Zwischenzeit bekamen Gäste, die erheblich später kamen ihr Essen und teils schon ihre Rechnung. Wir mussten das Essen herunter schlingen und kamen trotz problemloser Verkehrssituation zu spät zum Musical. Das war ärgerlich, weil der Abend ein Geburtstagsgeschenk war. Abgesehen von einem „Entschuldigung“ ging man nicht mehr weiter auf die Verspätung ein.

Der Service im Restaurant war sehr freundlich. Sowohl das Essen, als auch die Getränke kamen zeitnah. Man musste nicht lange warten. Die Vorspeise (Nr.5 - frittierte Garnele) war sehr sehr lecker. Das rote Curry mit Ente war auch lecker. Allerdings nicht scharf, wie beschrieben. Preis-/Leistung für die jeweiligen Portionen passen. Vom Nachtisch, Mochi Eis, war ich leider enttäuscht. 1 Stck für 4 Euro. Finde, hier passt Preis-/Leistung nicht. In sehr vielen anderen Restaurants bekommt man 2-3 Stck für den Preis. Leider war es auch nicht gekennzeichnet, dass es nur 1 Stck ist. Nichtsdestotrotz kann ich das Restaurant empfehlen.

Sehr lecker und guter Service. Leider nur Barzahlung. Die vegetarischen Frühlingsrollen waren minimal faad. Trotzdem sehr gut und ich würde wiederkommen.

War zufrieden mit den Reisnudeln und der knusprigen Ente. Ich war mittags in der Woche da, es waren nicht sehr viele Kunden vor Ort, von daher kam das Essen ziemlich zügig an. Preislich ist es okay, die meisten Gerichte um die 8-12€, aber für die Qualität ist es relativ angemessen.

Die Online-Reservierung klappte problemlos. Sehr nette Servicekräfte. Wir waren zu viert und alle super zufrieden mit dem Essen. Was mich störte war die sehr enge Bestuhlung und dass man nur in bar zahlen konnte. Das ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß.

Nette Bedienung , zivile Preise ,alles sehr frisch und lecker .. Wenn ich solche absolut albernen Bewertungen sehe wie "Vegan ist nicht Vegan" dann kann ich nur den Kopf schütteln ..Das es voll ist und man etwas warten muss, wenn man einen Laden der neu eröffnet wurde besucht ist völlig normal!! Und das Personal ist absolut nicht überfordert! Wenn du rein Vegan essen willst geh halt woanders hin..meine Güte ! Kann das Wort "Vegan" langsam nicht mehr hören ..Ewig dieses rummgejammere ..

Service und Ambiente waren zufriedenstellend aber das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und hat von der Portionsgrösse und Qualität her ein Top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir haben für 1 Vorspeise, 3 Hauptspeissen und 3 hausgemachte Getränke 60€ gezahlt. Sehr fairer Preis und sehr leckeres Essen.

Sehr sauber, netter Service. Finde es schön, dass Vegane und Nicht-Vegane Gerichte den selben Preis haben und dazu auch noch sehr günstig für die Qualität. Wir werden auf jeden fall nochmal vorbei kommen.

Lokal liegt mitten auf der Venloer Straße, Haltestelle Piusstraße, von da aus schnell erreichbar. Auswahl an Gerichten sehr gut, auch vegetarisch. Vorspeisen sehr lecker. Frischer Minztee mit Ingwer zu empfehlen. Hausgemachte Limonade hat uns nicht überzeugt (ist aber Geschmackssache). Reservierung empfohlen, ist auch in der Woche abends oft gut besucht. Die Tage wieder da gewesen, nach wie vor sehr lecker, nachmittags auch schön ruhig.

Essen schmeckt wie in Hanoi: Ich fühle mich hinein versetzt auf die Streetfood-Stände in die Straßen von Hanoi. Immer lecker und authentisch. Service ist zuvor kommend und sieht den Gast. Deswegen jeweils fünf Sterne.

Ich war schon öfter im Hanoi 36 essen und habe bisher keine Bewertung abgegeben. Doch das fand ich fast schon unfair und entschied mich dazu, einen Kommentar zu hinterlassen. Denn hier schmeckt das Essen 1A und der Service ist top. Der junge Mann ist sehr motiviert, macht seinen Job offensichtlich gerne und bemüht sich um jeden Gast. Geht nicht, gibt es nicht. Und das verdient seine 5 Sterne!

Increíblemente bueno. Tenía ganas de probar la comida vietnamita pero esta ha superado mis expectativas. Cada plato más bueno que el anterior. Recomiendo los noodles con pato. Además esta bastante bien de precio, todo lo de la imagen por 53,60€ para 4 personas y hemos salido hasta reventar.

Terrible, They had no beef, so all the beef dishes could't be ordered. They could't sell any beer or wine, couse their alcohol license is not renewed. I had to order an random dish, one kilo tasteless rice pasta, 5 small rools. When they asked me if I liked and I said, not much, the lady was very rude, telling me that is not her fault if they had no meat supply. (I just said, "I didn't like it". You can see by their answer below, how agressive they get when they receive a bad feedback) They also do not accept card, you must pay in cash. Terrible place. (I was informed about the beef situation only after we have already order the starters and drink, so I couldn't leave anymore.

Pho Huhn kam nur mit ein paar dünnen Scheiben Fleisch, Bandnudeln (normal) und Koriander/Zwiebeln - kein Stück Gemüse. Wir hatten auch Pho Ente und da waren sehr wohl Brokkoli, Blumenkohl, Champignons und Möhren drin! War zum Mitnehmen. Geschmacklich war das Hühner-Pho fade und süßlich - nicht lecker und dafür echt zu teuer.

Das Essen ist preislich in Ordnung und klassisches Asia-Food. Auch für Veganer gibt es zahlreiche Optionen und ist deshalb auch hier zu empfehlen. Der Service und Außenbereich ist auch ganz gut. Kartenzahlung ist leider nicht möglich.
