Very very tasty Vietnamese food

Was super tasty. We were there quite spontaneously and were able to get a table. Food was excellent. Price-performance was top. We'll definitely be back.

Today doesn't seem to be my day. The 2 spring rolls were completely black on one side. after eating 1 without seeing the burnt side. I turned the second roll over and saw that it was black as night. The waiter then offered to bring me a new roll. When I pointed out that I would prefer not to pay for the delivery of 2 briquettes, I was informed that I would then not have been allowed to eat the 1 spring roll. My answer to that is this review and the point that you should never have brought something like that to the guest. Bon appetit

I recently ordered takeout from this Vietnamese restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of fresh herbs and spices that really enhanced the flavors. The ingredients were fresh, and the dishes were well-prepared, making for a satisfying meal. I especially appreciated the variety of herbs included, which added a nice touch of authenticity. Already been there twice! Don't miss the seafood soup if you love fish. Also the servers are very friendly and accommodating. They customize the order exactly as you want !

I read many reviews before choosing this spot. We were missing a taste of home and although we’ve found pho spots all over Germany, they’re always missing the correct herbs. This spot has great broth and the right herbs. They also give more than enough. This is by far one of our best meals in Cologne and my youngest was so satisfied since it reminded her of grandma’s house.

!!!!The ONLY VIETNAMESE for us!!!! We ate there for the first time yesterday and everything was excellent. I've already visited a few Vietnamese restaurants and they were quite good. But in terms of portions and toppings, everything was very tasty and authentic. The service is very friendly and attentive, I felt very comfortable. I had the Saigon Salad and the Pho Bo, it made me more than happy. The portion was very generous and varied, so I was able to eat everything.

I find the concept of doing as much as possible myself very pleasant. The food was never faulty and always tasted good.

We went to this restaurant on my sister's recommendation. I admit that I'm always a bit skeptical about Vietnamese restaurants right from the start, as I also eat a lot of Vietnamese food at home. However, I can say in advance that the Nam was convincing from start to finish. We didn't order any appetizers this time. For the main course I had the rice noodles with homemade spring rolls (bún chả giò) - I think it's not just the spring rolls that are essential here, but especially the fish sauce. Everything was perfect here, I was really thrilled. This is what the fish sauce should taste like! The spring rolls were also very good and very crispy. The drinks were also very tasty. (One of us ordered the Phở gà and it was also very tasty! The broth is very flavorful and also smells like a Phở should smell :D) After the main course we were already pretty full, but then we decided to share a dessert - which, as it turned out, was a fantastic idea, because the dessert thrilled us all :) unfortunately I forgot the name of the dessert and unfortunately I can't find it on the standard menu online, but it was a warm dessert: banana cake in coconut sauce with peanuts. The staff was also very friendly, quick and attentive. Card payment also possible. I also found value for money absolutely fine. Gladly again!

This restaurant serves some of the most authentic (Southern style) Vietnamese dishes in Germany. It is not easy to find a Viet restaurant that provides lots of fresh herbs with your Pho.

We both had the lunch menu L1 (Saigon Ca Ri Ga/Chay) once with chicken and once with tofu. It was very tasty and the portions were filling! The service was also very friendly. We were very satisfied, would like to come back and can only recommend it!

I ordered a Bun Bo Nam Bo and it was delicious. The taste of vegetables and mixture of pieces of steak made it exquisite. The service was excellent and the environment from the restaurant is very chill and nice

Very authentic Vietnamese food! My husband and I ordered their homemade fried spring rolls, which came with a side of tasty peanut dip, pho, and lemongrass chicken. Everything is made from scratch, from the beef balls in my soup, to the chilli sauce on the table. Very delicious and so satisfying!

Wir haben ein sehr leckeres Curry mit Hähnchen und vieeel frischem und sehr leckerem Gemüse sowie Ente an Mango-Curry gegessen. Zur Vorspeise hatten wir uns Sommerrollen geteilt. Aufgrund der Grösse des Hauptganges hätte die Vorspeise auch weggelassen werden können. Service war sehr freundlich.

As I love Vietnamese food and traveling a lot, and reviewing many restaurants.. I can in at 14:55 and told they are closing at 15:30 35 min to eat sounds fine . It was my choice; and I was the only one on the store… But unfortunately..: really bad device as I think the server was teaching his brother? I came especially to this location as I saw a video on tik tok, unfortunately the spring rolls that I ordered started with were burnt. To me this was a 1 star experience but I don’t give out 1 stars . So 2 stars. Maybe it’s really good at night but my experience service hospitality, inviting and food were really not up to the level! Bummed!

We were at Nam for the first time yesterday and were thrilled with the food and the quality of the dishes. 👌 The service was friendly and we were lucky to get a table even though we didn't reserve. But it definitely makes sense to make a reservation as there aren't very many tables. We chose the versions with meat, but you can also order everything in a vegan version. The dishes are beautifully and attractively presented, and the eye is definitely eating here. The lemonade (mango vanilla lime) was divine. 😁 There were three of us, we each had a starter and main course, a drink each and we didn't pay 74 euros. Price/performance is definitely right here. This was certainly not our last visit.

Unfortunately not quite my taste. Both starter and main course were too sweetened with sugar (or honey). The acoustics are also too loud for my taste.

The food was very tasty 😋 but there is only a small menu. The atmosphere was rather simple and the service was totally overwhelmed: we had to wait a long time for our drinks and she had completely forgotten our food. Annoying!

Ein außergewöhnliches kulinarisches Erlebnis! Mein Besuch in diesem vietnamesischen Restaurant war einfach unvergesslich. Von Anfang an überzeugte die herzliche und einladende Atmosphäre. Wir starteten mit einer Auswahl an traditionellen Vorspeisen, die alle frisch und voller authentischer Aromen waren. Die Hauptgerichte, insbesondere die Ente, der Tofu und die frischen Sommerrollen, waren ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus. Das Tofu Gericht war reichhaltig und aromatisch, während die Sommerrollen durch ihre Frische überzeugten. Das Angebot der Speisen war beeindruckend und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Der Service war aufmerksam und schnell, was den Abend perfekt abrundete. Dieses Restaurant ist ein absolutes Muss für jeden, der die Vielfalt und den Reichtum der vietnamesischen Küche erleben möchte. Ein wahrhaft authentisches Erlebnis!

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Gutes, schmackhaftes Essen. Auch mittags geöffnet. Montags Ruhetag. Getränk Saigon Mule, meines Erachtens etwas zuviel Eis.

Ein kleines feines Restaurant in dem man sich von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute wohl fühlt. Ausgesprochen herzliche Atmosphäre durch das Personal. Das Essen bietet keine riesige Auswahl, dafür aber alles geschmacklich hervorragend auf den Teller gebracht. Immer wieder gerne wenn ich in Köln bin.

Jedesmal wenn wir in Köln sind, ist ein Besuch im Nam Pflicht. Sehr authentische, vietnamesische Küche. Die Brühe einer Pho ist eine Kunst für sich. Aber das Team von Nam bekommt es immer wieder gezaubert. Zudem sei erwähnt, dass der Service immer freundlich und super aufmerksam ist. Wir werden immer wieder kommen!

Wir sind begeistert vor allem, weil es ein harmonisches und familiengeführtes Restaurant ist. Wir wurden von der Tochter/ Leiterin mit ihrer sympathischen Art direkt empfangen. Man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die Karte ist total überschaubar mit wirklich authentischen Gerichten. Wir haben uns für eine Pho und knusprigem Hähnchen in Erdnusssauce entschieden, welches fast schon das leckerste Hähnchen gewesen ist was wir je gegessen haben. Jeder Besuch ist lohnenswert. Wir kommen super gerne wieder.

Wie waren das erste Mal dort und vom Service, den freundlichen Menschen, der leckeren Limonade und dem von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert sehr guten Essen überzeugt. Nein, begeistert! Die Preise sind angemessen, das Lokal sehr nett! Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Das Essen war prinzipiell gut und frisch. Allerdings im Vergleich zu anderen vietnamesischen Restaurants die wir kennen nicht wirklich außergewöhnlich. Die Erdnuss Soße war eher wässrig und das Hähnchenfleisch vermutlich frittiert. Bowl mit Betelblättern war gut, aber die Soße etwas schlapp. Zum Glück war es durch die vielen frischen Kräuter dennoch schmackhaft. Location fanden wir eher ungemütlich. Service war nett aber nachdem wir das Essen hatten leider etwas unaufmerksam. Insgesamt gut, die hohen Erwartungen konnten aber nicht ganz erfüllt werden.

Die beste Pho in Köln. Ich war vor kurzem wieder in Vietnam und hatte keine bessere als hier. Es ist auch die Saigonversion mit frischen Kräutern auf einem Seitenteller.

Love nam. Would appreciate a lil bit more meat

Ein Besuch im Nam ist immer wieder ein schönes Erlebnis zu sehr moderaten Preisen. Man wird sehr freundlich bedient und das Essen schmeckt wirklich ausgezeichnet! Vielleicht sind die Rezepte ein wenig europäisiert, aber Hauptsache ist doch das es gut schmeckt!!!

Heerlijk eten voor een voordelige prijs! We gaan elke keer terug als we in Keulen zijn! Ook is er veel keuze voor vegetariërs als vleeseters.

Das Essen ist wie immer super lecker und sehr frisch gewesen! Sowohl die nicht-veganen als auch die veganen Gerichte insbesondere die Specials sind sehr zu empfehlen und können in einer entspannten Atmosphäre genossen werden. Guter Service mit einem vertretbaren Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für Köln.

Das vietnamesische Restaurant "Nam" in Köln ist einfach fantastisch! Das Essen ist köstlich und authentisch, das Ambiente ist einladend und das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein absolutes Muss für Liebhaber der vietnamesischen Küche!

Ein kleines, aber feines vietnamesisches Restaurant. Man kann je nach Wetterlage drinnen oder draußen sitzen. Das Ambiente ist modern, aber gemütlich. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Die Karte ist nicht übermäßig groß, aber es findet sich für jeden Geschmack etwas. Viele Speisen werden in einer Variante mit Fleisch oder komplett vegan angeboten. Dadurch, dass die Karte nicht mit hunderten Gerichten überladen ist, kann sich die Küche optimal vorbereiten und alles wird schnell und dennoch frisch zubereitet. Alles hat hervorragend geschmeckt und wir hatten eine schöne Zeit im Nam in Köln.

Süßes kleines Asia Restaurant. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre mit Plätzen außen. Die Bedienung war total freundlich und lieb. Ja zuguter letzt würde ich dem Essen gern 6 Sterne geben was aber leider net geht. Verdiente 5 Sterne 🌟 Parkplätze muss man leider Suchen :(

I had the vegan pho and hot Vietnamese coffee for 17.40 €. The portion size for the pho was generous and the homemade seitan inside was tasty. The coffee was very delicious, the best coffee I’ve had in Germany so far - very strong and full of flavor (and of course sweet from the condensed milk!). The service was wonderful and the staff there is very kind. They also accept both cash and credit card which was convenient, since none of the other Vietnamese restaurants around take cards besides Nam that I could see.

Wirklich eines der besten Asia Restaurants. Menge ist auch wirklich gut. Wünschte andere Restaurants würden auch so eine Qualität haben.

Wir haben auch ohne Reservierung sehr unkompliziert noch einen Platz bekommen. Das Essen war sehr lecker (Kräuter konnten bei der Pho nach belieben hinzugegeben werden) und schnell serviert, die Gerichte kamen bei allen Personen gleichzeitig an.

Great lemongrass tofu! I did really enjoy it. The taste was delicate and tasty at the same time. We also ordered the lemongrass chicken and was also amazing. (I don’t eat meat outside home, but my husband love it!😁) The place is perfect for lunch. Even if it’s a working day. The service was fast and super gentle. The price is also convenient. They have a midday’s MENU that is perfect. They accept credit card and paying separated. I like it!

Das Essen war in Ordnung. Allerdings wurden ca. 15 % mehr (!) Trinkgeld belastet als von mir gewünscht. Leider habe ich das erst bemerkt als ich das Restaurant schon verlassen hatte. Das ist mir sonst auch noch nie passiert, daher bitte die Zahlung direkt prüfen bzw. den Beleg geben lassen. Dazu war die Nutzung von NeoTaste (der ausschlaggebende Grund weshalb ich eine Woche zuvor reserviert habe) nicht mehr möglich. Alles in allem leider nur ein maximal befriedigendes Restauranterlebnis.
