We regularly order takeout from this restaurant (almost every weekend). The quality and taste of the food have always been good, and the price-performance ratio is fair. Unfortunately, we recently had a very unpleasant experience when dealing with a mistake. For two weeks in a row, the main and most expensive ingredient was missing from the same dish. The first time, we didn't say anything. After the second time, I politely called to inquire whether anything had changed with the dish. I was told that it had been a mistake. I was offered the option of picking up a new meal immediately, which I declined, as we didn't want to throw away the food we had already received. Instead, an employee assured me that we would receive our order free of charge on our next visit. She explicitly stated that she was working that weekend and was aware of the situation. When I calmly explained the issue again at the counter on my next visit, I was told that everything was known and not a problem. After receiving my food, I encountered a very unpleasant situation with another employee who loudly declared in front of all the guests that only one ingredient had been forgotten and that I had to pay. Despite my calm attempts to explain, her tone became very loud, and the situation escalated publicly in the packed restaurant. At no point was I trying to "demand something for free," but simply to ensure that a previously agreed-upon arrangement was honored—an arrangement that I hadn't even requested, but rather one that had been offered to me. I found the employee's behavior unprofessional and inappropriate. To resolve the situation, I ultimately paid the full amount. The food is of good quality and fairly priced—however, the handling of complaints and internal communication need significant improvement. A public and loud argument with guests is, in my opinion, unacceptable. It's a real shame; I've only ever had positive experiences with this restaurant and now find it difficult to return.

We were there late on Sunday evening around 8:30 pm and they fed us deliciously. We liked the Blue Lagoon cocktail 😇 They took our order quickly and brought everything fresh and hot quickly too. We recommend it!

The restrooms were spotless and there was hot water. Everything was tidy, and the towels and soap were replenished. The food was okay, but unfortunately, the soup gave me a stomachache (MSG?!). The price was reasonable. Unfortunately, the benches are a bit small, and some tables designed for four people aren't big enough for some plates. The service was friendly but not particularly attentive.

Would definitely return next time im in town. ** Two important tips: avoid seating in the rear of the restaurant as the smell of the sewage pipes is very strong and be sure to bring cash with you as they do not accept debit or credit cards.

I've been here about 7 times already and I love the food every single time! Everything is incredibly delicious. Suggestion for improvement: I get a little annoyed by the menu every time 😪. The menu is very long and the pages aren't numbered. Pictures of the dishes would be great, as it's often a bit overwhelming because there are so many options that sound very similar. The dishes themselves are all quite different, so pictures would be a huge help with choosing :) I'll definitely be back! 🥰

One of our favorite restaurants in Cologne! They have a fantastic, extensive vegan selection, including meat alternatives. There's something for everyone. The food is always fresh and delicious, the service is friendly and fast, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We often bring guests here, and so far, everyone has been delighted. We always love coming back!

Fresh, delicious, and lovingly prepared! I had a duck breast bowl and was absolutely thrilled. The meat was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the combination with the fresh vegetables, rice, and aromatic sauce was simply perfect. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients. The service was also very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was pleasantly calm and modern. A great place if you're craving fresh Vietnamese food. Verdict: I'd love to come back!

Wow! The good online reviews are understandable, and if there were 10 points, I'd give you 10 out of 10!!! The four of us ate here on Monday evening. Wonderful Vietnamese food! Authentic, fresh, wholesome - simply a feast! The service was delightful. All the staff were super friendly, knew the menu well, and gave us excellent advice on our initial selection. Thank you so much for your kindness and expertise, and a huge compliment to the excellent kitchen!!! The prices are fair, too. The portions are generous ❤️ definitely give it a try. The only downside: Unfortunately, it was so dim inside that the pictures didn't turn out so well. But nonetheless, I'm happy to share them. All four of us were very satisfied. We'll be back!!! I really enjoyed it, but it wasn't anything special for me (hence 4 out of 5). Otherwise, the atmosphere is cozy, there's plenty of space to sit, and it's not too noisy. The room is quite long. There is a slight draft, as it was very dark and we were constantly exposed to a draft from the open door. That was a bit uncomfortable. The service staff was friendly.

Very busy Vietnam food , the traditional Vietnam soup noodles, soup tasty good, but the brief is a little dry compared to original way. The duck meat is quite large portion. Many people, but the waiting time is not long.

I've been a regular customer for a long time and have always enjoyed the rice pot – especially because of the delicious, spicy sauce. Unfortunately, I noticed that the quality has declined significantly during my last two visits. The second-to-last time, the sauce was extremely thin and watery, with no flavor. Last time, there was hardly any sauce at all, and the taste was also very bland. That was really disappointing compared to the past. I really hope the quality improves again, because the sauce was usually the highlight.

Friendly staff and a lovingly designed location. The prices are very fair. The food itself wasn't bad, but unfortunately wasn't entirely convincing. The duck was good, but my dish (Vietnamese rice pot) lacked sauce; it was mostly dry rice with vegetables. The vegetables were also very hard, almost raw. Perhaps this was an exception; I'll try again when I get the chance.

The food is super fresh, delicious, and the portions are huge! I really liked the authentic selection of dishes and the huge selection of homemade lemonades (the kumquat lemonade is highly recommended). The atmosphere is also super relaxed and invites you to sit and linger for a while. The prices are also inflated for the quality!

Never again! The staff is completely unattentive. I've ordered here twice, and both times the restaurant ignored my instructions. The second time, I called after ordering, and they still delivered the wrong food.

Went in a big group of 11 people and we were very well accommodated. No problem about splitting bills or individual bills. Food was delicious and service very friendly. Great selection to cater for everyone including vegans. Cash only though!

I've eaten at many Vietnamese restaurants, but this one was by far the most impressive. The food was excellent, with authentic flavors that were perfectly balanced. We were particularly impressed by the appetizers, and the main course was even more impressive in terms of taste. The service was consistently friendly and attentive. The staff gave us competent advice and made excellent recommendations. Homemade lemonades rounded off the meal perfectly, and a lovingly prepared dessert was a delightful conclusion. An all-around harmonious experience—in my opinion, the best Vietnamese food in all of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Food was good. But there was no service, no explanation of the process. Questions were difficult due to the language barrier. Clothes smelled like smoke afterwards because there was no ventilation. Free seats were not cleared and the tables were dirty.

Positive: -friendly staff -huge portions (if you like it that much) -large vegan selection (except starters) Negative: -Icy temperatures in the restaurant and draft (we sat in the middle and almost turned into snowmen) -The kitchen staff communicates constantly and very loudly from the kitchen with the service staff at the counter -Cash only -Menu cards dirty and sticky -no cozy atmosphere -the portions (vegan peanut bowl) are way too much = too much rice, too much sauce -Almost all dishes were labeled with the allergen "m", but there is no "m" in the list of allergens at the end of the menu Overall conclusion: We were there for the first time (on Valentine's Day) and it wasn't a nice atmosphere - the restaurant is more suitable for the lunch break. In the photos the restaurant looks much nicer and larger than in reality. We thought it tasted okay, but we know much better (vegan) Vietnamese restaurants with a much more cozy atmosphere and would therefore not come back.

Ruined Valentine's evening - not recommended! Despite reservations, we had to wait 20 minutes for a table, then sat right at the entrance, where we were terribly cold because the front door opened every 2 minutes due to delivery services and there was no vestibule. There were guests waiting in the entrance and in the aisle between the tables the whole time, the service was hectic and unfriendly - overall it was very cold, stressful and extremely uncomfortable... we'll definitely never come back!

I can't say anything about the food! 10 days before New Year's Eve I make a reservation for December 31st. a table for 8 people. I will also receive an email with the positive confirmation! On December 30th I'll call them again to ask if everything is okay. Then I'm told it's closed on New Year's Eve 😟🙄! Of course that doesn't work at all and is extremely annoying! How are you supposed to find another restaurant the day before New Year's Eve that has a table for 8 people? has? So be careful with reservations, it doesn't seem to work 🙁

The food was OK, but unfortunately nothing more. If I was very hungry and there were no alternatives, I would go again, but otherwise I wouldn't. There are much better alternatives within an 800 meter radius.

Super good price-quality ratio. Delicious fresh Vietnamese food. Lots of options on the menu, so it's difficult to choose. But I don't think you can make any wrong choices here. We had shrimp soup beforehand (super tasty, nice size) and spring rolls. Main course Bun bo Nam bo (deliciously fresh) and cashew nut with beef and rice. (Slightly sweeter taste) They also have many vegan options. Unfortunately you cannot (temporarily?) pay by card, but the card machine is 2 doors away. Would eat here again, but unfortunately we don't live here. Staff are friendly. Benches are fine for short periods of time. Nice atmosphere in restaurant

Very friendly place, a bit small and sometimes really crowded. The food was good, I tried several different meals over my 3 days stay in Cologne, everything was very good. Just my usual favorite Bún bò Nam bộ was rather average 😞 I used to try much more spicer and tasteful versions of this meal. The service team is very friendly and accommodating, you don't really have to wait even if there's a lot of guests there. Overall, I was very satisfied. The full dinner with a starter, main course, and a drink was around €25 which was quite reasonable for the quality and amount. Next time I'm in Cologne I'm definitely going to come again ☺️

It was a cool experience, but it quickly becomes more expensive for people who eat more. So it's highly recommended if you just want to eat something while drinking and/or chatting. Everything tasted great, except for a few little things that I personally don't like anyway, and the service was also super nice. You definitely shouldn't dress up too much because your clothes will be full of oil afterwards as it splashes from the grill every now and then, so long clothing is also recommended. What you definitely have to be aware of when you eat there is that you cook your own food, except for a few little things that you can order ready-made.
