The kebab was quite okay. However, I think €7.00 + 0.90 cents for a bit of feta is too expensive for this type of kebab. As I said, quality was great. Bread was run of the mill and quite soft, meat tasted quite dry in my opinion but tasted okay. Conclusion: You can do it, but there are better ones
I was there in October 2024, a very dirty shop, doner kebab doesn't taste good, salad stinks, the price is cheap but everything is rubbish. Such a shop usually has to be checked by the public order office. Floor dirty, walls have never been painted. No, no.
Very poor customer service! Even though you have a reservation, the table is simply given away and they cheekily say, "We told you to come 30 minutes earlier."
An absolute insider tip in Aachen! The food at Marmaris was fantastic – fresh, tasty and perfectly seasoned. The grilled dishes are particularly a highlight! But what really made the evening memorable was the great service. Our waiter, who bore a striking resemblance to Tingle Tangle Bob from The Simpsons, was not only extremely friendly but also attentive and humorous. A real original! We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back. Clear recommendation!
Nobody cares about customer satisfaction in this place and the food was so good that we could say "it's okay". In short, I do not recommend it to anyone.
I have nothing to say about the food, but if you want to be polite to all the head waiters with your money, if you want to ask for something ten times, I say come and try it.
We've eaten here a few times. It's perfectly fine considering the proximity to the main train station—nothing earth-shattering, but always solid, and you can eat without worry. Unfortunately, it's not at all cozy downstairs, but upstairs is even more so, and there's even a separate prayer room!
Divan Antep Mangal offers authentic Turkish grilled dishes in a cozy atmosphere. The freshly prepared meat dishes in particular impress with their intense flavor and high quality. The specialties from the charcoal grill are well seasoned and are served with fresh side dishes. The homemade bread and mezze round off the meal perfectly.
The ambience is pleasant and traditional. The decor is simple, but in keeping with the concept. There is a lively atmosphere that ensures an authentic Mangal experience. It is particularly nice when you can watch the meat being prepared on the grill.
The service is friendly and attentive, but at peak times it can take a little longer for the food to be served. You should be patient, especially when the house is full. The portions are generous, so you will definitely be full.
The restaurant is reasonably priced, especially when you consider the quality of the food. However, some dishes could be a little cheaper to further improve the price-performance ratio.
Overall, Divan Antep Mangal is a good place for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Turkish grilled food. With a few small improvements in service and waiting times, it would be a solid 5-star rating.
54 euro for 2 kebabs that were well below average!!! Ripped us off, sure they don't like British people. Plus the kebab wasn't very nice and below average. Very poor food.
