Very poor customer service! Even though you have a reservation, the table is simply given away and they cheekily say, "We told you to come 30 minutes earlier."

Every time I say never again, but since it is close to my house, I tried it once again, asking whether it has changed or whether it is of good quality. However, today's service and food quality made me say enough is enough. Moreover, when the owner of the place asked how satisfied you were, I said clearly that once again I encountered a service and food quality that you will never see again. In short, it was a complete failure for us and our environment. Even though it is in a beautiful district like Rüttenscheid, the place is not an elite place. So zero stars

We made reservations for an iftar meal and were told at reception that we could sit on the terrace when it was 7 degrees. Very rude. When we tried to explain that we had made a reservation and provided proof of the time and the phone call, we were politely dismissed and told that the name wasn't there. Ridiculously, they also told us to call the number and quite boldly said that the phone didn't ring. Traveled there from Cologne specifically to be welcomed like this. After a long discussion we finally got a seat. I just find it outrageous and incompetent not to be able to accept the reservation. In addition, it is cheeky to say that we have no space and that space is only offered after a riot. You should apologize and try to make things right again. Absolutely not recommended.

A really great shop with a large selection and fair prices. The employees are very friendly and take the time to give detailed advice. I found exactly what I was looking for and will definitely be back. I was particularly impressed by the excellent customer service - here you really feel valued as a customer!

Came across this restaurant by chance while visiting ESSEN. On the first evening, even though the restaurant was very full, the waiter gave us a friendly welcome, gave us great advice and the food was amazing. On the second evening, the restaurant was full again (breaking the fast) and I was greeted with a handshake. The waiter didn't know what I had drunk the day before, he brought fresh lemons with mineral water and the food was once again the finest. Coming to breakfast after 3 days, you feel like you're in a 5* club in Belek, only much more authentic and the friendliness of the staff is just great.

The food is good quality and beautiful. The food is good because Turkish cuisine is generally good. The presentation of the food is poor. The tables are very close together. The tables are so close together that you can hear all the conversations at the table next to you. People get bored of sitting together. I think at least 8 tables need to go from inside. The interior design and lighting of the place is nice. I will go again to try meat products.

We dined there on a Saturday evening without a reservation. After about 10 minutes of waiting we already got a table. The restaurant has a great ambience. The staff was super friendly and the order didn't take long to arrive. Beforehand there was a starter on the house (flatbread with two different dips and a salad for each of us). You rarely experience something like that. Thank you very much for that 😊. The food was great and the portions were generous, we were all very satisfied. We will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend the restaurant 👍🏼.

I've been here twice already. Once for the breakfast buffet and in the evening à la carte. And I have to say, I have never experienced such extremely polite, friendly and courteous staff! This is unbelievable! Every wish is implemented and extreme attention is paid to a good and undisturbed experience for the customer! The food is also super delicious, whether it's the buffet in the morning or the meal in the evening! Everything great and clean! It sits perfectly and invites you to linger! Price-performance is also great! The only drawback is the small parking lot. So it's best to plan some time to look for a parking space. I would always come back and can only recommend it to anyone who likes or wants to try Turkish cuisine. There is also a lot for vegetarians.☺️👍

We were able to enjoy incredibly friendly, courteous and competent service. The food was really good and considering the free starter and chai afterwards, it was really good value for money. Unfortunately, the toilets are a little neglected, but here too it was allowed to be mentioned and the reaction to this was very professional and it was responded to. Thank you for the lovely stay

This restaurant is very unique because there is really something going on. We were there for Sunday brunch and have never seen such a huge selection of food. Pure happiness! 😄 especially because there were so many different delicacies. We love trying unfamiliar meals, so this was heaven for us. I loved the hustle and bustle atmosphere because it was really like a big family celebration. The guests were all very nice and the service was so helpful that we had a good time. I'm looking forward to coming over to eat meat. The grill plate is already waiting for me.

Very bad service. They are totally overwhelmed. There were four of us and we had reserved a table. Reservations are not honored, despite reservations you have to wait. Way too crowded. Loud like in a large canteen. I can't recommend it. It's better to go somewhere else, in Rüttenscheid there are enough nice restaurants where you will be warmly welcomed and shown to a table despite rush hour.

We went there spontaneously on a Saturday evening without a reservation. Even though the restaurant was full, we only had to wait a maximum of 10 minutes to get a seat. Drinks/food were consumed quickly. Bread with 2 dips was served straight away. The starter and main course were brought relatively quickly. The quality of the food is very good. We had #24 KALEM BÖREGI, #68 TAVUK SIS YOGURTLU and #73 KUZU PIRZOLA. The prices are very fair! The only drawback: it was very loud! We'll definitely be back!

Chic, nice restaurant but the food is a disaster. Rack of lamb with Chanpignon sose ordered sose neutral meat not salted pide full of tomato sauce that somehow tasted spoiled. Just the ambience alone doesn't make a place for a restaurant. The chef should try his own food

We ordered salads, pizza, and mix grill for 5 people. Portions were small but we had three sallads and pizza so it was ok. The food was generally pretty good but the it was expensive. Almost 35€ per person is too much.

The kebab, shaqaf, meat with dough, and shish were delicious, but the kofta and ribs were not good, nor was the yoghurt. There was tea after lunch. The service was very good.

Was there for the first time. Because of the good reviews. No idea where they come from. It's completely overcrowded...people are standing in line outside waiting for a table, the tables are super cramped, the two of us had a very small table, everything barely fits on it, no privacy at all, you can hear everything around you from your neighbors, it's super loud. My husband and I couldn't understand each other at times. You just sit down, at the same time salad and dips appear on the table and the food follows very quickly, well, the meat could have been grilled for at least 5 minutes longer, the fries didn't work at all, just soggy, the baklava was very good and the Kunefe swam and was simply too soft... a real shame.

2nd evolution to Niravana. It met my expectations, and the employees are very friendly. The food was all hot and fresh and tasted good too.

Yesterday we were here for the first time without a reservation and we absolutely loved it! Extremely friendly staff, all wishes were fulfilled quickly, beforehand there was a super fresh small salad and flatbread with 2 creams, our main courses of lamb and chicken were so delicious, so everything was great and we will definitely be back! The food is OK, I had Joguhrtlu Adana but the sauce was too watery and the bread was too soft, it wasn't even fried... the other Nirvana in Cologne is better in my opinion but otherwise the food is solid and one of the best restaurants in Essen.

My favorite restaurant in Essen, as it's really rare to experience such hospitality these days. The service is outstanding and even when it is busy there is never a lack of service. Of course the food is great too!

Was there on a Sunday for the breakfast/buffet. Was way too crowded. Everything is tightly packed in order to “squeeze in” a lot of people. People kept touching you while you were eating because it was so tight that you could hardly get from the buffet to your seats without touching someone while eating. In between there were always the waiters who were still doing their job. There was an incredible noisescape with the music and the people. Far too loud for a conversation at room volume. It was noise. Furniture is worn out. Chairs damaged by fire and worn out. Everything was repaired quickly. Radiators in the socket are simply placed between the seats because there apparently is no real heating or it doesn't work. At the buffet there were no signs indicating what was what. I'm just thinking about the people with allergies. Is grossly negligent and not good for the guest. Nevertheless, what I ate was good. The staff was there. That's about it. It was dirty. No matter where I looked on the floor there were crumbs and leftover food. You can clean in corners. But obviously that wasn't done. My daughter slipped on a lettuce leaf while using a crutch and almost hurt herself if I hadn't been standing there. Parking was domino. Far too crowded and too narrow for someone who is on crutches. But it’s free. There is no disabled parking space and since you are in Rüttenscheid you are allowed to look for it. But no one from the staff was interested in whether those who parked there were also eating inside. I can't understand how you can give this more than 2 stars.

We were here for the first time. The food was really delicious; the waiters were polite and not intrusive. What we found unpleasant was that the tables were quite narrow and the high room and the amount of people who fit in through the narrow seating made the acoustics incredibly loud and tiring.

We had: Beyti Sarma (10/10), Beyti Tavuk (10/10), Mixed Plate (10/10) and Kaburga Plate (0/10 which was like a sponge) the waiters were super fast and nice

My honest experience because the waiter asked for it. The entrance and terrace seemed untidy and the ashtrays were full! Reception at the door to the table top. Ambience great. Table decoration is too simple considering the ambience. 2 minutes while we were sitting someone started cleaning something with a loud device which I didn't see because it was to the left of me...it was so annoying... We got the tickets, and immediately afterwards a small salad, bread and sauce arrived! (I would bring it after ordering the food, as then there would be less of a starter) We ordered the menu for €70…. The starter came quickly and was also tasty, but there was too much sauce around it. When we were finished, I wanted to have a smoke and got up and the waiter said there was already the grill plate and the starter had been pushed to the side. Grilled plate put down.. Then I don't need a starter. I wanted to enjoy it. Grill plate came on the plate that you can heat with candles, but there weren't any in it.. all the meat on the rice and the fries... even the rice tasted like Adana, ultimately I can say service was top, only the head waiter, the rest worked without Love, food OK, ambience nice, terrace entrance messy. Price is okay

I went about a year ago and couldn't go due to my health problems, but I can say that it is a perfect place, the food is great, I thank the workers and masters for their efforts, I am thinking of going again soon.

Having an organization does not mean neglecting other customers. The food arrived 1 hour after ordering, it was cold and uncooked. Too few parking spaces for a restaurant that offers so many seats, the breakfast buffet seems to have a lot of choice but important products are simply missing such as pide, strawberry yogurt, fried sucuk etc... The service seems friendly but very stressed out and you have the feeling of being handled as a guest. Unfortunately, the toilets are also completely dirty. Nirvana wants to appear a little more upscale than the competition. In terms of price, it is also a little more expensive, but of course you have to be able to fulfill a lot of points, which in my opinion still has a lot of room for improvement. I won't be visiting the restaurant again in the near future.

Unfortunately the shop is no longer usable. I've been there many times, but recently ordered an Adana plate and the portion was so small. That was ridiculous. You lost three customers. How can you serve people plates with so little food?

I had breakfast at Nirvana for the first time 2 days ago. The buffet has a really great, large selection of fresh dishes. There is something for every taste. I liked the grilled vegetables and the matching dips best. The service at Nirvana is top. The waiters came by uninvited to bring the tea and I wasn't without a drink for a second. Everyone was very friendly and I could tell that they loved what they were doing. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy. Everything is well maintained and clean. The price for the breakfast buffet including tea is more than fair. I will definitely come back and bring more friends with me so that they can also enjoy such a great experience. We went because of the good ratings but it was rather disappointing: 1. Place is super noisy, and felt like a road stop restaurant - also not a big fan of the bright lights. 2. The waiters brought out the dips and salad but no bread. Overall it was all pretty disorganized. 3. The fries were served solo. But not the mains. Mayo and ketchup are individually wrapped, just like with their takeout food. My friend finished the fries before our mains because it took them so long to bring them out. Meanwhile a flatbread was served for the dips. 4. The beef wrap was a sad sad dish. A few chunks of chewy meat, onions, but almost nothing else - not even a sauce. 5. The Adana köfte with yoghurt sauce was unfortunately also chewy, and apart from the sauce it wasn‘t very enjoyable. Instead of rice, I ordered vegetables as a side. I got rice. After I asked again, they brought me some fat-dripping deep-fried vegetable cubes. Maybe it was a bad day but sadly we didn’t enjoy any of this experience. Two stars because the service was very friendly.

Today we spontaneously went to Nirvana in Essen. It was very well attended and yet the staff remained calm and kept an overview. Extremely friendly service, delicious food in sufficient quantities, and reasonable prices. We felt comfortable and were served promptly. The toilets were exceptionally clean for how busy they were. We will definitely come back and recommend it without reservation.
