The food was great! Prices okay too. Unfortunately we had to wait a lot and when we were there it was quite crowded and loud. Otherwise we were satisfied! :)

Not recommended! Waited 20 minutes for an Adana kebab to take away. Not once was anyone asked if they had a wish. I ordered a small one, received a large one and after discussions it had to be paid for. Bread was super tough and dry, meat not cooked through and no roasted flavors. Simply bad and almost 10€ just way too expensive.

The waiting times are a bit too long, the portions could be better, no organization (the drinks came last, even after we had eaten something) no professionalism and I mean, you don't expect much from a fast food restaurant. The food was good so far, but nothing special

It's an absolute shame to even visit this store. Tasty food for an acceptable price.

I don't think I've ever had such a bad tripe soup in my life. Ever since I drank the soup, I've been feeling nauseous and my reflux has gotten worse. Even if they couldn't clean the stool properly, I don't recommend it at all!

The food is always fresh and special requests are no problem. The meat sometimes takes a while because it is freshly grilled, but of course it is worth the wait. It's just a few minutes walk from the main train station and is open all day. Around the corner there is the same shop again in a mini version (a shared kitchen) so if one restaurant is full you still have the option of going to the second restaurant. Attention if you want to go there at night with small children (on the way back from vacation, etc.) it is directly opposite Worringerplatz (lots of junkies) so it's best not to walk there but along the main street (but the restaurant can't do anything about that). The best thing there is in the city if you spontaneously want to eat something good late in the evening / at night :) You have to look for parking spaces a bit, but you can always find them nearby.

Everything is very, very bad, don't come even to try it!

I was there today and ordered a soup and wanted a bit of garlic (it was in a jar, garlic and oil), I put a bit in it, it tasted like really vinegar after 3 or 4 spoons and I spoke to the staff who was really arrogant, aggressive and unprofessional.. I was with my wife and didn't want things to escalate. I went out... and by the way, he replaced the old garlic jar with new ones. After 40 minutes I had to throw up and felt really bad... never again, particularly bad for me I've been there often but the staff was really cheeky today

🇧🇷 The food was excellent! The chicken was well seasoned. A vegetarian option is the lentil soup which comes with very soft bread.

I was surprised that the restaurant was so full as I unfortunately didn't like the food. The mini grill plate for €20 was disappointing: some of the meat was still raw and inedible. Too small a portion for the money. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he showed no interest and just said the food was good. I have had much better food in other Turkish restaurants. I will definitely never go to Izmir again and I also advise my friends not to.

I am really very disappointed. I found a black hair in the food and therefore no longer had any appetite. And asking €9 (!!!) for a (small, no sauce, just a little tomato and cucumber) PomDöner is really too much! I've never had to pay such a high price for a PomDöner and I don't know anyone who had to pay that much for one. Especially because the portion was so small, I'm really skeptical about how this price came about. I could have bought a kebab straight away with all the trimmings and it would still be under €9. I would have liked to have said that on site, but I simply didn't have the energy to discuss it after such a long wait. You should really think about how you treat your customers and whether you are honest with them. 9€ for a PomDöner!! You feel absolutely ripped off! I'm never coming back. Neither with my partner nor with my family.

I am a regular visitor to this place as I live nearby and enjoy my soup here, especially the tripe soup (Iskembe), which tastes excellent here. Although there may be the occasional criticism of the service or decor, the undeniable highlight is the delicious food. The taste is simply outstanding, especially with Adana Kebap and Köfte. It is worth noting that the store is always very busy on weekends, which is a sign of its popularity and quality.

I was there to break my fast during the week Izmir kebab house. Despite our reservation, we arrived a little later than agreed and also placed our order quite late because, surprisingly, our food arrived on time and the service was top. We had the soups served to the table, even though you had to pick them up yourself, and were also given free bread with the soup upon request. The waiters were attentive and kept walking past the tables to clear up empty plates so that we had more space at the table. I particularly recommend the Adana Kebab. The meat is tender, not too fatty and ideally seasoned. All in all, I would recommend it. This was my fourth time there and for the most part I was pretty satisfied.

What is particularly worrying, however, are the hygienic conditions that I have already mentioned. The fact that money is accepted directly with hands and then food is prepared unwashed is unacceptable. This not only represents a blatant violation of basic hygiene standards, but also poses significant health risks for guests. It is absolutely essential that the venue urgently reviews and improves its hygiene measures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of customers. Thorough training of staff on hygiene practices and the introduction of stricter food handling guidelines are essential here. Overall, due to the greatly reduced quality of the food, the excessive prices, the poor service and the worrying hygienic conditions, I can no longer fully recommend this restaurant. It is hoped that management will take these issues seriously and take appropriate measures to improve the situation and regain customer trust. It used to be a great shop, but the success of the past seems to have dampened the expectations enormously.

They brought me a fork and spoon wrapped in a used napkin. I asked for tripe soup, it was the strangest and worst sweet soup in my life. The staff is very indifferent and very sullen. Our people greet you at the door and almost beat you asking where you came from. They served the turkey doner as beef doner. You want tea, get up and get it yourself. They say, you want an account, you have to go and pay it yourself. I definitely do not recommend it.

Not far from Hbf you can experience this authentic and tasty Turkish cuisine which specializes in grills. Open up the meal with some beef tongue soup which is very rich and creamy. Then for the main dish get the mixed grill teller to taste the varied grilled dish they have.

0/5! It's disrespectful to serve something like that! Unfortunately no pictures to prove it, because after 3 bites of snot and water I had to throw up crying! Apart from the fact that there was no meze starter compared to the other restaurants, our salt only came with the meal after we pointed out that it was missing. The meat itself was RAW! And the kebabs and köfte stunk! The fries were unsalted and unseasoned which was also very strange?! The only good thing was the soft drinks, thanks for making that happen! The service staff is also useless, making a customer wait 45 minutes for his food, which is still raw and stinky, I can't explain it. The shop is a complete disaster, even ketchup and maybe you have to share the tube with 50 people, you can't explain this overpriced bill for such a bad job. Have a nice evening and get well soon to everyone else who got poisoned here.

You shouldn't expect 5-star hotel gastronomy here, but this kebab house has its own recipes for some soups or spicy kebab skewers like Adana are really tasty. Here you drink tea for free, some of the waiters have been working there for years and I feel at home here. This kebab house caters to both singles and families. The clientele is rather diverse and you can see many nationalities. I am always happy about the visit. I've been a regular customer since 2016 and enjoy going there every time.

Too expensive, not enough rice for 4 people, bad service, never again

I recommend Dürüm Kebab! Unlike other stores, this store has a traditional Turkish stone kiln oven, so the pancakes rolled with kebab are freshly baked here, and they are very delicious! And I think his meat is very delicious, very charred, and tastes great!

Hello Yaksama, I stopped by in a financial crisis. There is no service, the food is terrible, I was upset and I would definitely not recommend it to anyone. I went to a restaurant in Düsseldorf for the first time and this was my last visit. Shame on them for opening such a place.

Das Essen ist super lecker. Ich hatte Adana und Leber und es war großartig. Allerdings ist die Reinigung nicht gut. Das Personal ist wenig und ich musste 1 Stunde warten und leider sind sie nicht sehr höflich. Trotzdem gebe ich 3 Punkte für den Geschmack, aber Sauberkeit ist ein wichtiger Punkt.

Das Essen ist immer frisch und gut zubereitet. Die Leber schmeckt dort am besten, die ich je gegessen habe aber ab 15 Uhr gut es die nur!

Ich habe mir Kopf-/Hachsen Suppe gemischt mit Zungen-Suppe sowie Döner im Brot bestellt. Die Suppe war top. In Düsseldorf ist es meiner Meinung nach das beste Restaurant, wenn man Suppe trinken möchte. Der Döner war jedoch mager. Das Fleisch schmeckt gut. Der Döner ist zu klein. Da ist zu wenig Fleisch und auch zu wenig Salat drin. Die Saucen sind verbesserungsbedürftig.

Nice Turkish restaurant with good food.

This restaurant has become one of my favorite Turkish Restaurants. We ordered the mixed grill, which was very delicious and has a very good quality. Everything in this plate was tasty from each Kebabs to the rice and bulgur. My only feedback is, it would be much better if the salad would be served right away after getting our orders and before serving the main dish. Also the price is around 2 to 3 Euro higher than some similar Turkish restaurants, while they serve yogurt and another side dish for starters and also tea after the meal.

Das Essen ist gut - wenn die Jungs Lust haben. Ich war unzählige Male bei Izmir zu jeder erdenklichen Tageszeit. Allerdings ertrage ich die unfreundlichen Mitarbeiter nicht mehr. Bis auf ein oder zwei Mitarbeiter geht die Stimmung gar nicht. Aus Trotz hat der gute Mann meinen Lamacun in die Folie geschmissen und beim letzten Mal nicht mal warm gemacht. Weil ich mich gewagt habe nach 10 Minuten ohne ein Hallo an der Theke zu fragen, bei wem ich mal bestellen darf. Die unfreundliche Art bekam ich bei fast jedem Besuch geboten. Hallo, wir sind seit einiger Zeit treue Kunden in dem Geschäft. Gerne kauften wir das Tagesmenü mit dem Gemüse Eintopf, Quark und Brot. Es handelt sich um ein vegetarisches Gericht, was zum mitnehmen für 5€ im Sommer letzten Jahres (2023) kaufbar war. Wir verstehen, dass sich die Gastronomie mit der wirtschaftlichen Lagen angleichen muss, doch einen Sprung von 5€ auf 14,5€ (heute 6.01.24) ist für uns unverständlich. Leider ist auch der Verkäufer, der die Tagesmenüs ausgibt immer wieder unfreundlich aufgefallen. Wir hoffen, dass die Rezension zum Umgang mit Kunden beiträgt, weil wir leider sagen müssen, dass es unser letztes Gericht dort war.
