Kebab H. Izmir in Düsseldorf

54 euro for 2 kebabs that were well below average!!! Ripped us off, sure they don't like British people. Plus the kebab wasn't very nice and below average. Very poor food.

You can run after your food, the waitress seemed aggressive and shouted at his work colleagues that he had to do everything and they were standing around in Turkish. Great garlic smell as soon as you walk in.

Very unfriendly staff. You wait a long time and there is a machination here. You order and ask for the price beforehand. You are told one price and given another when you pay. So be careful. Better pay first. But I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

You can eat really tasty food here and the atmosphere is also very appealing, but in my opinion the portions are far too small. I ordered a large plate of kebab and wasn't full and I'm a woman. Portions far too small, hardly any meat so for a large plate of kebab I would have expected a large portion for the money. Conclusion I can't recommend the restaurant. Staff unfriendly.

On our way from the Netherlands to Frankfurt at 11.30 on a Sunday, we came with hesitation because it was one of the few places open, but we're glad we did. We bought small portions of mixed kebab and lentil soup. We liked the soup very much, and we liked the grilled lamb skewers and chicken cutlets the most. The ayran was very similar to the sour ayran I drank in my childhood. I would like to thank the owner and the employees. By the way, the employees are friendly people :)

I came from Neuss to eat here with my fiancée, her mother and my mother. However, the waiter was extremely rude. He came to our table several times and hardly gave us any time to think about our order. Even when we told him the numbers of the dishes he wanted, he had great difficulty understanding them. He also smelled strongly of alcohol and came uncomfortably close to my fiancée while taking the order. He ended up bringing the wrong dish for my mother. When I pointed this out to him, he told me with a smile to just accept it because his colleague had made a mistake. He took the plate away from my mother to "correct" it, but then came back with the same plate and directly told me to be lenient. I refused. He then wanted to take the plate again to change the dish, but I told him to just bring a new dish in a different plate. The waiter was extremely rude and disrespectful. Overall the staff was drunk and the atmosphere was completely unsuitable for families. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant!

Younger waiter incompetent to take order and bill, older waiter was better, food was good, cook who cuts the meat is outrageous, disrespectful, talks badly about the guests in Turkish or even insults them if he thinks they don't speak Turkish but not everyone has to look Turkish to understand Turkish. Would never eat there again. Sad for the city of Izmir to defile your shop like that. Shame on you.

It's terrible, it's terrible, the waiter brought the uncooked doner 40 minutes after the order and then said 'Eat it, nothing will happen', it's worse, I wish I had thrown away that money, the rude staff, the terrible raw meat, it's a nightmare and the new chef doesn't know, they didn't give an invoice, don't go, in one word, this is a business that treats people like idiots.

The food was super delicious! The meat, especially cooked on a charcoal grill, had a fantastic flavor. Everything was fresh and attractively prepared. The staff was also extremely friendly and accommodating. An all-round successful visit – we will definitely be back!

Izmir Kebap House offers some of the finest grilled meat in Düsseldorf. After exploring many Turkish restaurants, we found that the grilled dishes here truly stand out. The chefs have mastered the art of grilling, perfectly balancing smokiness, spice, and tenderness while keeping things delightfully simple. Given the choice, I could happily enjoy their grilled platter every day. Although service can sometimes be slow, the exceptional quality of the meat more than makes up for the wait.

I recently visited the Izmir Kebab House at Worringer Platz 3 in Düsseldorf. Unfortunately my experience was disappointing. We waited over 30 minutes for our soup, which was ultimately never served. In addition, the waiter behaved extremely arrogantly and disruptively, which further spoiled the overall impression. Due to this negative experience I cannot recommend the restaurant.

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was not convincing. We ordered a grill plate for four people and were dissatisfied with the quality and service. Food quality: The dishes were served lukewarm to cold. The skewers were overcooked, the meatballs had an unpleasant taste, and the meat (lamb and chicken) was over-seasoned and firm and dry. Portion size: The portion declared as a "platter for four people" was actually designed for two people. This can be seen from the fact that the individual portions added together are not nearly enough to feed four people. Value for money: The price was disproportionately high for the quality and quantity of the food. Invoicing: Only a total item was noted on the invoice, which makes it difficult to understand. Freshness: There were doubts about the freshness of the ingredients, particularly the minced meat, which was probably not processed on the same day as required. Service: The friendliness of the staff ended as soon as a complaint was made. The problems were not taken seriously or resolved satisfactorily. Overall, our experience was disappointing and we had similar impressions on different days with different guests. We will avoid this restaurant in the future.

Good is very good especially lamb meat grilled is perfectly cooked on fire . It’s very crowded during dinner so be prepared to wait to get a table. The prices were very affordable some years ago but after corona they got increased. Crowded=good food

Restaurant with delicious Turkish grill specialties. It can get pretty busy at peak times, but the food is great! It's open 24 hours a day.

Now €6 for a soup that is served lukewarm. Soup MUST be served warm, even hot. You MUST see the smoke from the soup! I then decide when the temperature is right and start drinking it. But if the soup arrives at my table lukewarm and gets cold as I start to drink, that's catastrophic! It's happened many times that's why I'm posting. It's definitely not a restaurant but a snack bar. The service? There is no service. A waiter for the whole place who runs around like marathon runners! The tables are rarely wiped with the same cloth for several tables. Grilled meat tastes good and is usually well done but overpriced!

We entered by chance. Albanian liver was excellent. Shakshuka and potato salad were delicious. Tripe soup was hot and delicious. We drank self-service brewed tea. A clean business close to Banhoff. Prices are affordable. I recommend it for delicious food.

It seems they prefer to serve people of their own race. I was overcharged and ignored. Good food but not worth my time.

I visited Germany, this place was the best restaurant I ate at , the fresh meat and mashawi was very delicious, the friendly waiter was awesome, I'm back in America now but craving their food

I felt very uncomfortable because I wasn't being noticed at all. Only when my husband came did he take the order. He also didn't pay attention to me when I placed my order. Said there is no shepherd's cheese. But the table next door got the shepherd's cheese salad. I have to be very surprised at such behavior.

Extremely tasty kebab with crispy bread, crunchy cabbage and juicy meat. The three sauces that were put on the kebab tasted interesting but delicious. The service (street sales) was also friendly and accommodating.

When we went back to get the sunglasses we forgot on the table, we realized that we would never be able to get them back. I don't want to blame anyone, but there were so many cameras and they didn't look. Because they also knew what happened to the glasses. If they had told the truth, they would have done a camera check. Go and eat, but don't trust and never forget anything... Then suddenly it disappears...

Not recommended! Waited 20 minutes for an Adana kebab to take away. Not once was anyone asked if they had a wish. I ordered a small one, received a large one and after discussions it had to be paid for. Bread was super tough and dry, meat not cooked through and no roasted flavors. Tasty food for an acceptable price.

I don't think I've ever had such a bad tripe soup in my life. Ever since I drank the soup, I've been feeling nauseous and my reflux has gotten worse. Even if they couldn't clean the stool properly, I don't recommend it at all!

The food is always fresh and special requests are no problem. The meat sometimes takes a while because it is freshly grilled, but of course it is worth the wait. It's just a few minutes walk from the main train station and is open all day. Around the corner there is the same shop again in a mini version (a shared kitchen) so if one restaurant is full you still have the option of going to the second restaurant. Attention if you want to go there at night with small children (on the way back from vacation, etc.) it is directly opposite Worringerplatz (lots of junkies) so it's best not to walk there but along the main street (but the restaurant can't do anything about that). The best thing there is in the city if you spontaneously want to eat something good late in the evening / at night :) You have to look for parking spaces a bit, but you can always find them nearby.

I was there today and ordered a soup and wanted a bit of garlic (it was in a jar, garlic and oil), I put a bit in it, it tasted like really vinegar after 3 or 4 spoons and I spoke to the staff who was really arrogant, aggressive and unprofessional.. I was with my wife and didn't want things to escalate. I went out... and by the way, he replaced the old garlic jar with new ones. After 40 minutes I had to throw up and felt really bad... never again, particularly bad for me I've been there often but the staff was really cheeky today

I was surprised that the restaurant was so full as I unfortunately didn't like the food. The mini grill plate for €20 was disappointing: some of the meat was still raw and inedible. Too small a portion for the money. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he showed no interest and just said the food was good. I have had much better food in other Turkish restaurants. I will definitely never go to Izmir again and I also advise my friends not to.

Very tasty and great things from the grill. The Adana and the lamb chops are highly recommended. Salads are fresh and the daily specials are varied. Waiting times are relatively long and unfortunately the prices have also become more demanding, even during Corona. Parking spaces are rare and be careful: unfortunately this is where you find the focal point of the area.
