⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A truly fantastic Turkish restaurant! The location is simply superb – easily accessible and with a lovely atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, authentic, and prepared with great care. The portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair. I especially recommend the grilled dishes and the meze! The staff is friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back – highly recommended!

The stuff are very disrespectful, more than 30 minutes, sometimes 1 hour waiting for the food even when is finished, they just put in a microwave. The Salad which mostly is free when you order daily dish, they will charge you extra for some random price. A couple of times, the people who came there after me, they was served before me. I will never go there for sure and unfortunately I can’t give less than 1 star!

I think you have to have black hair and dark eyes to be served. I can't rate the food because I left after 15 minutes without being served.

Kebap Haus Izmir is a lovely spot in the center of Düsseldorf. Since I went in the morning, I only had the tripe soup. So, I can't write anything about the other dishes. But the soup was truly delicious.

The food used to be always fresh and delicious; we often came here after visiting the Old Town. Today, the quality has declined significantly—there's even spoiled meat in the soup. Very disappointing for a place we've known for so long.

A friend tried to convince me about this place, so I decided to check it out for a dinner without telling him after the talk. Yeah, he's correct. Everything here was well prepared with outstanding flavor. I would definitely come back again for second run but on his treat.

What a disgrace. We ordered the soup, but it was decent, and I couldn't drink it. Another table was served greens with the soup, but our table wasn't. The waiters were wandering around the room like actors, oblivious to customer satisfaction.

Unfortunately, as an Arab customer, I didn't feel like I was treated with the same respect and attention as German customers, which isn't impossible with the Turks. Mr. Alparslan, who took care of us, was a very polite gentleman. We were treated very well and welcomed. The food was delicious, especially the mixed grill was very nice.

It's not Michelin-starred here, but more like a school cafeteria; there's nothing to complain about. The prices are always absolutely affordable. Ismail always provides friendly Michelin-starred service. I'll be back!

You won't be served if you want a quick kebab

I've been here dozens of times, but sometimes or often?? They burn the meat black, but it's delicious. The leaf soup is delicious, and everything they sell for grilling is delicious. It's good because it's open from morning to dawn. It's good to come here to drink and get over a hangover. It's always crowded at night, so it's a bit hard to order.

Sir, we were 4 people and we decided to go and have a lentil soup in the morning, we were disgusted, we bought our own forks and spoons, instead of him serving, we made it, we asked for 4 bottles of water while eating, the man said get up and get it yourself, he was a sullen man who did not greet customers, we were not happy, will I pour the tea? Taste 10/10 - Portion and Ambience 3/10 The kebab tasted really good! The meat (although I couldn't tell whether it was veal or chicken) was very well seasoned, crispy, and juicy at the same time. The salad was standard, but the garlic sauce was like something you remember from your school days: lots of garlic, herbs, and a little sweet. As many have criticized before me, the amount of meat for the price (€9.50 with Coke) is almost outrageous. Elsewhere these days, you always get a little extra on top in addition to the regular portion of meat. However, as you can see in my photo, the kebab is only 2/3 full, which annoyed me a lot! The restaurant itself looks very dated and not very clean: broken tables, dirty chairs, and the floor didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time. Considering the size of the restaurant, it seems like they employ a lot of staff, but without exception, they all seem overworked and unfriendly. The restaurant has real potential, especially given its location, if the owner/operator would invest some money in a small renovation, clean it properly every day, and serve the food properly!

I bought four kebabs to take away from the bakery on the other side of the store. The small amount of meat, compared to the sallad ratio (maybe three times the amount), wasn't cooked properly. The sallad wasn't tasty either. Unfortunately, we had to throw the kebabs away. Sad! But this was the second and certainly last time we'll buy kebabs there.

It's an ordinary and not very tasty place. The person who serves, takes the order, collects the service, and even wipes the table with a repeatedly used cloth without drying it is 1 person, and it's always the same person.

Really shocking in 2025 to say the last! But people I know say it’s always has been like that. How can this be even legal? Best Turkish pizza in Düsseldorf. Freshly prepared in a charcoal oven and no warmed up “food” as is usual elsewhere.

I went there for dinner with a colleague. We weren't served at all at the beginning and had to take the cards ourselves. Colleague wanted to order a pide with spinach. The waiter annoyedly informed him that it wasn't available at the moment (which is totally okay). My colleague then ordered soup and a large French fry. The soup was never served and when you pointed it out to the waiter at the end, he ignored it and annoyedly asked what you had ordered so he could put together the bill. The taste of the grill plate was okay, but there are definitely better ones in the area. Service a 0/5. There was also no starter with bread and sauces like you would find in many other shops. Unfortunately I can't recommend it😔.

Dürüms were perfect. Yes, it's true, it's a long wait, but it's worth the wait. The best chicken ever, really big pieces and you can smell that the meat is still being grilled on coals. Perfect. On our way from the Netherlands to Frankfurt at 11.30 on a Sunday, we came with hesitation because it was one of the few places open, but we're glad we did. We bought small portions of mixed kebab and lentil soup. We liked the soup very much, and we liked the grilled lamb skewers and chicken cutlets the most. The ayran was very similar to the sour ayran I drank in my childhood. I would like to thank the owner and the employees. By the way, the employees are friendly people :)

I ate kebab in this restaurant and it was very tasty but the quantity was very small for the price. Good restaurants are clean and generous to their customers, that's just a note. As for the food, it was excellent and very tasty.

I came from Neuss to eat here with my fiancée, her mother and my mother. However, the waiter was extremely rude. He came to our table several times and hardly gave us any time to think about our order. Even when we told him the numbers of the dishes he wanted, he had great difficulty understanding them. He also smelled strongly of alcohol and came uncomfortably close to my fiancée while taking the order. He ended up bringing the wrong dish for my mother. When I pointed this out to him, he told me with a smile to just accept it because his colleague had made a mistake. He took the plate away from my mother to "correct" it, but then came back with the same plate and directly told me to be lenient. I refused. He then wanted to take the plate again to change the dish, but I told him to just bring a new dish in a different plate. The waiter was extremely rude and disrespectful. Overall the staff was drunk and the atmosphere was completely unsuitable for families. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant!

Younger waiter incompetent to take order and bill, older waiter was better, food was good, cook who cuts the meat is outrageous, disrespectful, talks badly about the guests in Turkish or even insults them if he thinks they don't speak Turkish but not everyone has to look Turkish to understand Turkish. Would never eat there again. Sad for the city of Izmir to defile your shop like that. Shame on you.

It's terrible, it's terrible, the waiter brought the uncooked doner 40 minutes after the order and then said 'Eat it, nothing will happen', it's worse, I wish I had thrown away that money, the rude staff, the terrible raw meat, it's a nightmare and the new chef doesn't know, they didn't give an invoice, don't go, in one word, this is a business that treats people like idiots.

Izmir Kebap House offers some of the finest grilled meat in Düsseldorf. After exploring many Turkish restaurants, we found that the grilled dishes here truly stand out. The chefs have mastered the art of grilling, perfectly balancing smokiness, spice, and tenderness while keeping things delightfully simple. Given the choice, I could happily enjoy their grilled platter every day. Although service can sometimes be slow, the exceptional quality of the meat more than makes up for the wait.

Zero service, orders arrive very late

I recently visited the Izmir Kebab House at Worringer Platz 3 in Düsseldorf. Unfortunately my experience was disappointing. We waited over 30 minutes for our soup, which was ultimately never served. In addition, the waiter behaved extremely arrogantly and disruptively, which further spoiled the overall impression. Due to this negative experience I cannot recommend the restaurant.

Food quality: The dishes were served lukewarm to cold. The skewers were overcooked, the meatballs had an unpleasant taste, and the meat (lamb and chicken) was over-seasoned and firm and dry. Portion size: The portion declared as a "platter for four people" was actually designed for two people. This can be seen from the fact that the individual portions added together are not nearly enough to feed four people. Value for money: The price was disproportionately high for the quality and quantity of the food. Invoicing: Only a total item was noted on the invoice, which makes it difficult to understand. Freshness: There were doubts about the freshness of the ingredients, particularly the minced meat, which was probably not processed on the same day as required. Service: The friendliness of the staff ended as soon as a complaint was made. The problems were not taken seriously or resolved satisfactorily. Overall, our experience was disappointing and we had similar impressions on different days with different guests. We will avoid this restaurant in the future.

If you're craving mouthwatering homemade food, this is the place you simply must visit. The atmosphere may resemble fast food, but the service here is truly exceptional.
