I had just come from sports and was meeting two friends there. I was then very rudely thrown out because I was supposedly drunk. - I was neither drunk nor acting suspiciously in any way. - I disinfected my hands after entering the establishment because the doorknob was dirty. Perhaps that's where the assumption came from. In any case, I won't be going there again and advise everyone against it.

The kunefe is amazing, even better than the ones I've had in Türkiye.

Terrible service. Staff doesn't listen to orders. Orders were served in two stages with a 45-minute break in between. And yet, it was wrong and incomplete. Unfriendly and rude. I also get the feeling that guests of a certain background are given priority. Definitely not recommended.

The store and service have improved. The selection is really great and the food tastes delicious. Prices are, as everywhere, very fair.

We ordered künefe and rice pudding. The presentation was lovely and the künefe was tasty, but it could have used a bit more cheese. The rice pudding was also good, however, we found the prices a little high.

I bought a lotus cake and couldn't even finish it. It tasted like plastic and had a strange texture. I asked a waitress what was in it because it was inedible, and she had no idea either. Never again!

Outstanding baklava! As a true dessert connoisseur and proud lover of oriental sweets from Lebanon, I can say: This baklava was something very special – perfectly balanced, crispy, moist, simply perfect!

they charged us for a bunch of extras that we didn’t order, didn’t even wanna give us a copy of the bill until we asked for it twice. we basically paid for stuff we didn’t even get, and we only realised after we paid and checked the receipt (when we got home)

The desserts were so good but I was a bit disappointed by the chocolate cake because it was a bit dry the tea was super good but the biggest issue was the glasses they were dirty we asked the waiter because it’s super unhygienic it honk they should either buy glasses more or they gotta wash them in dish washer because it’s pretty disappointing when they have perfect food but the glasses dirty I will never go there ever again we ordered only 4 dessert one was the chocolate cake a cheesecake a tiramisu and a profiterol both my mom and me we got nasueaa at night I had to threw on the floor 🚩🚩‼️🚫

We had drinks and cake there, which was very tasty and the service was also very nice, but the drinks just tasted like water, which was really cheeky. It's a really nice place in itself, but the cake was better.

I ordered two portions of kunafa. The kunafa itself was fine, but the accompanying nuts were bitter. After I finished the kunafa, I tried the nuts, and to my surprise, they were all bitter. All the flavor of the kunafa was gone, leaving only a bitter taste in my mouth. Even after I complained, they showed no understanding or apology. Our plan to end the evening with a delicious dessert was ruined. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I ate at Damla in Düsseldorf with my wife today and was unfortunately very disappointed. I got a can of Uludağ without a glass, and the can was completely dirty. I asked the waiter for a new one, and it came suspiciously quickly. I have the strong impression that he simply wiped the can with a dirty washcloth, because it smelled so disgusting that I had to wash my hands immediately. The food used to be much better. The chickens were smaller, thinner, and therefore nice and crispy; now they're thicker and, unfortunately, just flabby. As a long-time regular customer, I have to say: I've never experienced anything like it there before, and I won't be eating there again. It's a real shame.

I was there with friends on Thursday evening and ordered a coconut pistachio cake which is soaked in milk, a kind of trilece. Unfortunately it was a horrible experience. The cake was so sour, the cake was bad, or rather the milk

I went with high expectations. It was a suggestion from many people. But my own opinion was that the baklava was cold and the coffee I drank wasn't tasty; it wasn't enough for me.

Baklava type desserts are not tasty, we don't expect Antep but it's not even close, the dough of the desserts should be full dough, crispy, cake type could be good, we didn't try that.

I've been to Damla in Düsseldorf several times – and I've been disappointed every time. The cakes weren't always fresh; some even tasted sour, as if the cream had gone bad. The worst thing is the chairs: almost everywhere they were heavily soiled, and the seating area overall looks unkempt, making the visit truly unpleasant. Considering the price and a pastry shop that promises quality, this is very disappointing. Improvements in quality and cleanliness are urgently needed.

A completely meaningless restaurant. I sat there for 23 minutes without anyone coming to my table to take my order. Next to me were Turkish customers – their orders were taken immediately and their food was served quickly. Apparently, other nationalities aren't allowed in. Absolutely not recommended.

Better than the one in Cologne. I had the best trifle there. San Sebastian was also amazing. That's what they should taste like! They're a bit more expensive than the Damla in Cologne, but the higher quality is completely justified!

We were there on Saturday for a bachelorette party and drove two hours because of the positive reviews. We wanted to make a reservation in advance, but were told it wasn't necessary—we could just drop in. They also said breakfast was served until 4 p.m. When we arrived at 1:30 p.m., we were told breakfast was no longer available. Instead, there were only two limited options. We wanted a standard breakfast with vegetables, cheese, etc. The staff was very rude and explained that neither cheese nor vegetables were available—only scrambled eggs. This was especially annoying because we later noticed that other dishes did indeed include cheese and vegetables. We finally ordered menemen, but were initially served only scrambled eggs. After another wait, the correct dish arrived, but with lots of eggshells in it. Overall, it was a disappointment: unfriendly service, unreliable statements, and very poor food quality. Unfortunately, for us it was a complete waste of money.

We wanted to share breakfast between the two of us because we simply weren't that hungry—which shouldn't have been a problem for a larger group (there were seven of us). But the waiter first claimed there were no side dishes (five minutes later, he said the side dishes had been brought back because we asked him how it was possible all the other tables were still getting breakfast). THEN HE SAID that the kitchen didn't make breakfast plates for just one person?! We were randomly given three different egg dishes—with no side dishes at all—without any prior consultation. Just like that. Honestly, it all seemed like they were deliberately trying to avoid giving us a single-serve breakfast for two. Never again👎

The service is very good, but the baklava is average to good. However, the prices are already in the premium range, so the value for money is unfortunately not right.

The waiter ruined our breakfast! First, he claimed there was no cheese, even though all the other tables had cheese. Then he claimed the kitchen didn't make single-person plates and supposedly told us so (he didn't). We had only agreed that the price difference for the cheese cut would be offset with dessert. Suddenly, he brought three different kinds of eggs... with no side dishes... Very poor communication on the part of the waiter (no matter how inexperienced he was with the breakfast menu).

The desserts here were incredibly delicious until two months ago. You could eat 10 baklavas and they wouldn't make you sick. The last time I had them, I was so heartbroken I could barely finish three baklavas. I got the same feeling as the poor-quality baklavas we eat in Turkey; they were heartbreaking. Please make them like they used to be.

Service was courteous, and drinks and food arrived quickly. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the cold baklava with milk and cocoa – watery, warm, and lacking in flavor.

Baklava/tatli were delicious! Lots of different kinds, so plenty of choices! The location was good, but parking was paid! Luxurious decor, very spacious, and very professional! Restrooms were available, and hygienic!

Disappointing and outrageous! We were eating künefe there earlier. As a first-time visitor, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. My künefe tasted like paper, and I mentioned it to the cashier at the checkout. She ignored me. She had trouble registering. She didn't even speak German. I wouldn't advise anyone to go there. Go there yourself and see for yourself, folks.

It has nothing to do with Keupstraße. The kunefe is a world of difference. I go there a lot. You call it premium here and here. I think you should change the names. I'll be back. Please, bring the pistachio kunefe here too. It's delicious.

Fantastic baklava! The shop is beautifully decorated in inviting shades of turquoise, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere. The display of baklava was absolutely tempting, making it hard to choose. The server was friendly and took the time to explain the different varieties. We opted for a selection, and every piece was a delight: rich, nutty, and layered with perfectly flaky pastry, drizzled with just the right amount of honey syrup. It was sweet but not overwhelming and packed with freshly chopped pistachios. Everything was presented in a lovely box, perfect for gifting or indulging yourself. Prices are very fair considering the quality. An absolute must-try for pistachio lovers!

If you sit down and eat, the baklava is extremely expensive. Two slices of baklava are 8.5 Euros but a kilo is 33 Euros. Their baklava is good, at least it has pistachios in it. But the pistachio wrap baklava does not have the same taste as before. It was too sweet.

Hello, dear team, this is our second time visiting you, and both times there was a hair in the food. We reported it to the waiter, but there was no real reaction and it was ignored. The restrooms were very dirty, and there was also a very sharp piece of 💩 on the toilet rim. The food was still delicious, but the staff weren't that friendly either. A melemen and a simit are 9.9 okey but there is not even a glass of tea with it. The price of tea is 2.5 Euros, they are subtracting the price of a pot of tea from a glass of tea. At least reduce the price of the tea.

They had almost nothing. We went for dinner at 9:00 p.m., and even though it said it closed at 3:00 a.m., they only had veal, not a plate with salad and rice, no pizza, or anything other than durum or a meat and potato dish. The meat was good, which is a plus. In my opinion, it was more expensive than I expected. We won't be back.

Don't you realize the price is exorbitant? A kilo of baklava costs 33 euros. I think I paid about 600 grams for 18 euros. By the way, baklava has never been good and has a high sugar content. I can't go to that place.

Called on Friday afternoon - I was told on the phone that reservations are generally not accepted on Fridays and weekends. In the evening we still went without a reservation. However, there was a table at the back with a “Reserved” sign. The statement was that the boss had decided that way. After about half an hour, three people came and it was clear that they had neither made a reservation nor had been announced by the boss - and they just sat down there. This is really incomprehensible.

Cakes and pastries are delicious with good presentation but expensive. There are bakeshops that with the same types of cakes, also good quality and delicious with the same portion size which cost only 3.50 euro. I am not sure how these resto could compete with them. Place is clean, beautiful and relaxing. Toilet is also clean.
