Öz Urfa Deluxe in Dortmund

The Öz Urfa is very suitable for going out. The service staff are very courteous and helpful. However, in a restaurant like this you might be better off using placemats and drinks in glass bottles rather than napkins and plastic bottles.

Unfortunately the toilet can't keep up, otherwise I would have liked to give it 5 stars. We're definitely coming back from Switzerland...!

The food was good and the ambience is good too. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Especially since it is the deluxe restaurant of Öz Urfa. The cola made in Türkiye is sold to customers for €3.20. And the tripe soup for €8.50. The bowl is so small and you can count the pieces of tripe in the soup on your hands. In addition, the food is brought together, a little here, a little there. Part of our group had already eaten and the other part was still waiting for their food. We had to ask three times for a bottle of water to be brought to us. All in all, I think it's a rip-off when it comes to the tripe soup and the other cola.

The staff leaves something to be desired, unfortunately after discussing that the vinegar was full of fruit flies I was just looked at strangely. Nothing new was added either. The man at the checkout is doing his job, everyone else is doing their time. It's a shame.

Öz Kebab Deluxe in Dortmund absolutely convinced us as a group of five people. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was fresh and very tasty. The grill plate in particular was excellent, with perfectly seasoned meat and fresh side dishes. The price-performance ratio is also great. We'll definitely be back!

I'm just disappointed because you pay almost €20 for breakfast. And gets poor quality, cheap sucuk in scrambled eggs. Cherry juice, orange and coffee are included but totally inedible. Syrup mixed with water and if you say it doesn't taste good. If you say yes then don't come, I won't come either!!!!!

Breakfast wasn't tasty, there was tomato paste everywhere, the drinks were free, it was a joke, some syrup with water sold as orange juice, the coffee was super strong, never again, shame on you! We ordered 2 soups..it was very cold, there were 4 pieces of meat in it. I said to the bearded guy working at the cash register, he didn't care, he was just playing on the phone... I asked for 1 more soup, the same cold and there were exactly 4 pieces of meat.. I said to the bearded guy again, he didn't answer.. He took 26.70€.. He didn't even thank me.. he didn't even thank me.. he was playing on the phone. continued... Is there such a place... We went for the first time. I strongly recommend you to try the really delicious food as a family. The negative thing is that it is expensive, I recommend the toilets to be a little cleaner.

Unfortunately we didn't like it at all and some of it didn't look appetizing either! The noodles were too greasy and the drinks were all cold! So I couldn't even enjoy tea! Some of the bread was very dry and hard. Very unfortunate...

Price/performance not matched. Food delivered incorrectly 3 times. Requests are not taken into account. A lot of money for small portions. The only good thing is the ambience.

We had dinner here this afternoon, August 11th, 2024. I ordered a lahmacun. At first everything was fine, but during the night I suddenly felt sick and vomited. The lahmacun came back up undigested. Something like this had never happened to me in Germany until I ate with you. I will complain to the health department immediately tomorrow. We will never eat here again. The store should be closed!!! .

We spontaneously went there with the family for coffee and birthday cake. Unfortunately, according to the waitress, all the cakes in the display case had the same filling, which we found very unfortunate. Then we ordered capuccino/latte machiato and none of it was available, instead we were offered filter coffee that you couldn't drink.

Our last visit.. everything we ordered was salty, no taste. Waiters often entertained one table and we had to get up to order drinks ourselves. Last year the food was good, but our last 2 visits were a disaster. The waiter didn't accept our complaint and simply turned it away.😟

Weeks ago we were there to satisfy our small hunger with a roller blind. On arrival we also felt like having meze (cold starter plate), the waitress looked at us snooty and said that she couldn't give us a starter plate because these are only for customers who order “normal” food. This would then be included for free. After discussions with the unfriendly waitress, who we then told several times that we would pay for it, we finally received our starter plate. But with cold bread?! Went there again a few days ago and immediately noticed that unfriendliness was very important there. In order to be served you have to wait anxiously for one of the employees to see you. They all stand together at the counter and talk amusingly to each other. The ambience: call the restaurant “Deluxe”, but have all the furniture and decorations made cheaply. You have the feeling of sitting on wood, no comfort at all. When you sit at a table you don't know what to do with your feet that don't fit under the table. I was also sitting way too high on the chair, but the person in front of me, who was sitting on the bench, was sitting way too low. The decorations and also the wall decorations scream of having a cheap origin. As if they were more focused on paying less money than having it done professionally. You should really think about putting the shop in the hands of a professional shop fitter so that the name “Deluxe” can finally be reflected.

Charging €8.90 for a soup is disproportionate

I drank the most expensive soup of my life. €8.50 for a tripe soup that wasn't really warm either. The waiter was very unfriendly. You are simply ignored. Customer service is definitely different.

I think the word Deluxe was used only for the architecture of the place. The place is nice but the taste is not good. There are also cakes and baked goods. We had iftar for 3 people in Ramadan 2024. We ordered different menus Lamb chops are ok Mixed grill is ok Meat Doner is ok. I think what we ate could have been much better. There is no olive oil, you use sunflower oil in the salad. Dessert will do. The service is good and the staff is understanding. It was Ramadan but it wasn't crowded. Prices are mid-range. (But I thought they were high compared to the taste.) The worst part is, if you drink tea after your meal, tea is charged extra. After paying the bill, we drank tea again and they warned us and charged us for these teas (2). In a culture where 1 coffee is remembered for 40 years, there would definitely be 1 cup of tea, but they lost this too. I won't go again if we don't have to.

Some of the salads were leftover from yesterday, especially the cucumber ones, they were not good. The appetizers were very delicious. Also, the floors need to be renewed urgently, they are in a very bad condition, they are torn and it really harms the image. Overall, we are satisfied, we recommend it.
