We were there with a group, and individual drinks were often forgotten. The mixed starter plate was quite good, but the main course - Adana skewer - didn't convince me. Even though the skewer was good, the dish lacked a sauce. In addition to the skewer, there was only dry rice and onions, followed by a classic side salad. Everything seemed a bit careless on the plate. Overall, for the most part, the menu didn't seem particularly Turkish. The big hit came at the end when card payment was not possible and I was directed to the nearest ATM. I don't have to have it again.

We were invited. Food and drinks were good and service was very attentive.

Ate there with colleagues. The starters, especially the liver, were very good. The main course was also tasty and plentiful. Clear recommendation, will definitely come back.

True to the motto “the customer is king”, we were pampered by the Bosporos team this evening. The service was completely attentive and incredibly friendly. The food was prepared with love by the boss himself, which you really enjoyed! Rarely have we eaten such good meat of all kinds. From starter to dessert it was really a pleasure :-) We would be happy to come back and spend more evenings with you - not just because of the food, but also because of the unbeatably good service!

I recently visited Bosphorus Restaurant and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, which makes the entire experience even more enjoyable. The menu offers an excellent selection of traditional Turkish dishes. I tried the lamb kebab and was impressed by the tenderness and intense flavor. The mezze platter was also a delight – perfect for a small appetite or to share with friends. The service was quick and extremely friendly. The staff really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and everything was to our satisfaction. Overall, the Bosphorus restaurant is an absolute must for anyone who loves Turkish cuisine. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The main courses including starters and desserts are great, served at an appropriate temperature and really worth the price. I liked the food so much that I bought something to take away. This is a very great restaurant that is therefore very busy. It is therefore best to call before your visit and ask about capacity to ensure everything runs smoothly. And unfortunately Mr. Yilmaz can't do anything about the parking situation. It's a centrally located restaurant and the parking situation in Dortmund city center is a fundamental problem. Well-kept restaurant, courteous service staff and a down-to-earth and warm boss! Keep it up!

The food was okay, unfortunately the staff comes very rarely, you actually have to get up and place your order yourself. I sat for 30 minutes and was so thirsty that I got up. There wasn't much going on and I saw at least 4 wait staff, so there would have been enough time to ask if we wanted to order something. The food came very quickly. Unfortunately the dessert menu is incorrect. There's more on it than what's on site.

30 minutes after arrival we still couldn't place an order even though we raised our hands four times and made the waitress aware of it. I also wanted to place an order and they just said that they didn't have it anymore. End of the song as some people got up. Extremely overwhelmed and too few staff. Never again

I'm so sorry I have to write such a bad review 😔 I gave Bosphorus another chance and unfortunately I was very disappointed again 😞 Service is ZERO, the waitress is overwhelmed and didn't know anything about the list (maybe it was new) but she should learn it anyway! Even though it wasn't that crowded, we had to wait about 30 minutes for the drinks. I think they forgot about us Food - didn't taste good at all on the meat there was supposed to be tomato sauce and what I got was large pieces of uncooked tomatoes as a side of vegetables!!!! Disgusting as rubber 🫣 The neighboring table was offered tea after the meal, but they didn't even speak to us!!! I could write a lot more but that should be enough They should make some effort and the head waiter should be a little friendlier - I had the feeling he was choosing the customers because he wanted to serve them

Service is an absolute disaster! We couldn't even place an order in 15 minutes. Guests who arrived after us were more likely to be served. The service is absolutely unprofessional and also rude.

Despite the low occupancy, the waiters are unmotivated, especially the lady with the tattoo on her forearm (rude and unprofessional). Guests are kept waiting, guests who arrive later are served first. When asked about the problem, the answers were very rude.

Ausgezeichnetes Restaurant: Wir hatten uns spontan entschieden und zum Glück noch einen Platz bekommen, obwohl es bereits sehr gut besucht war. Alle Speisen – vom Fisch, über Fleischgerichte bis zum Gemüse perfekt zubereitet aus frischster Ware. Die Getränke- und Essenspreise fair. Außenplätze super. Innen ein klein wenig abgenutzt. Der Service über alle Personen hinweg sehr freundlich und höflich. Uns hat es richtig gut gefallen.

We came to this beautiful city for the Dortmund tattoo festival. We had our dinners at this place for 3 evenings. We tried half of the menu in 3 days. Each plate was individually perfect. A chef who knows his job! and excellent staff. Friendly and fast service.

More appearance than reality. Waiter was very unfriendly. Disastrous service. Despite a reservation, we had to wait half an hour for the menu and then wait a long time until we could place the order. The waiters didn't come by themselves, they always had to run after us. The fact that the waiter got very annoyed and loud just because one person at the table wanted to pay with a card instead of cash and he only made the receipt for cash payment was really annoying. You shouldn't talk to your guests in an unfriendly, loud and annoyed manner, but you should always ask questions and act professionally and always in a friendly manner.

We waited almost 1.5 hours for the main course, the food was cold, the service wasn't good, we forgot several things, but at some point we didn't care. Finding a parking space is impossible, it took me over 30 minutes.

A very good Turkish restaurant. We were in Dortmund today and spontaneously decided on the restaurant. The dishes were all very good. Although we know many Turkish restaurants in Cologne, this one immediately impressed us. The service was friendly and professional. Price/performance: top.

We were in this restaurant with 15 people. The staff seemed to be trying hard, but there was no shortage of excuses when we had to wait over an hour for our food. The excuses bordered on impertinent, as if we were being taken for fools. They said your order is already on the grill, yours will come next and so on, while the waiters kept walking past us with the plates in question to the other tables. When we were about to get up, our food finally arrived. Sorry, but that was the last time we ate there. P.S. Unfortunately, the wait for the food wasn't worth it in the end.

I can't confirm the mostly good reviews I found here. We were here for the first and last time. Both the starter "Sigara Böregi" and the main courses we chose such as "Adana Kebap" or "Iskender" were largely a disappointment. There was hardly any trace of the sheep's cheese filling in the puff pastry rolls, the "spicy minced meat skewers" were spicy but not well seasoned and the tomato sauce in the Iskender was more reminiscent of ketchup, but not a tasty tomato sauce. The service didn't stand out in a positive way, but it wasn't entirely bad either, but you shouldn't start clearing away dishes when everyone at the table hasn't finished yet.

I ordered fellet steak with pepper sauce. It was delicious My girlfriend ordered dorredo. It was delicious too. Others ordered mix grilled and they were normal! The service was good too👍

Wer gutes hochwertiges qualitatives Fleisch essen will, ist hier richtig. Ich reise immer wieder gerne von Köln nach Dortmund ins Bospurus Grill um die tolle mediterrane Küche in vollen Zügen zu genießen. Es ist kein Standard klischeehafte türkische Küche, sondern es wird mit ganz viel Liebe und Mühe die Speisen zugerichtet. Hier bekommst du definitiv sehr gutes Fleisch zu einem guten Preis, welches sich definitiv lohnt. Das Ambiente, sowie das Personal insbesondere auch der Chef begrüßen aufmerksam und gehen auf jeden Wunsch ein. Ein herzlichen Dank dafür und ich freue mich das nächste mal wieder da zu sein.

I always enjoy traveling from Cologne to Dortmund to the Bospurus Grill to enjoy the great Mediterranean cuisine to the fullest. It is not standard clichéd Turkish cuisine, but the dishes are prepared with a lot of love and effort. Here you definitely get very good meat at a good price, which is definitely worth it. Food was fabulous, service was absolutely friendly! You immediately feel at home, only as soon as the restaurant gets full the noise becomes very loud but also absolutely okay. 1 dessert on the menu was not available, which I thought was a shame. But I'm definitely worth going there a second time. Absolute recommendation!

No parking spaces. The service only came after 40 minutes after I called him. Nevertheless, they said that he would be able to go straight away. I then said that the guests next door had joined us and had already started eating. Apparently vitamin B. I understand Then the waiter was cheeky and said that it was full and they couldn't make it. Rudely cheeky and totally unfriendly. I would have got up and left but I wasn't there alone. There were six of us. Eating is okay but it doesn't have to be that way. Been there for the first time and never again...

Früher haben wir um die Ecke gewohnt und häufig das Restaurant Bosporus besucht und waren immer zufrieden mit dem Ersten und Service. Aufgrund eines Familienfestes wollten wir den Abend gemeinsam im Bosporus Restaurant verbringen, da für uns schöne Erinnerungen mit diesem Ort verbunden waren. Leider ist der Abend wegen schlechtem Service dazu noch primitivem Benehmen der Servicekräften zu einer Katastrophe geworden. Die Servicekräfte des Restaurants sollten dringend einen Kurs in Anstand, Manieren und Servicestandards besuchen. Wir werden nie wieder kommen!

Wir waren zu viert das erste Mal im Restaurant Bosporus . Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Ein sehr gemütliches Restaurant, welches bei Auslastung etwas zu laut wird. Wie gesagt, die Servicekräfte allesamt sehr freundlich und kompetent. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis der angebotenen Gerichte ist völlig in Ordnung.

6 kişiyle akşam yemeği yedik, siparişlerimizde et ağırlıklıydı Adana kebap hariç diğer karışık ızgara etler mükemmel di, içecek olarak gazoz yokdu olmayınca acılı şalgam istedim oda yoktu normal aldım. Tatlılarda da maalesef seçenek çok azdı.

Auch dieses Jahr haben wir Heiligabend wieder hier verbracht. Mega netter Service, wahnsinnig gutes Essen, wirklich mega mega lecker. Lamm, Hähnchen und Rind waren einfach super gebraten und auch das Gemüse war super gebraten. Der Rotwein war leider viel zu kalt (Keller?), aber wir haben einfach gewartet bis er wärmer war und hat dem Gesamterlebnis nicht geschadet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es war ganz ok. Beilagen leider abends ausverkauft und nicht nach Alternativen gefragt worden. Insgesamt eher ok.

Abend im Bosporus Dortmund Tisch 18 Uhr bestellt erst angeblich 19 Uhr. Für 10 Leute es wurden dann 2 Tische bereit gestellt 6er und 4er aber so das diese am Ende auseinander gezogen werden mussten was für eine Firmenessen nicht gerade toll ist. Essen wurde mit Reis bestellt gab einfach Kartoffeln ohne erneute Nachfrage. Viele Speisen von der Karte "Desserts" ausverkauft. Überzeugt hat es auch nicht Dorade mit Salat und "Kartoffeln" gekocht danach frittiert. Service war ok. Ein Besuch ok aber ein zweiter leider nicht. Für einen Firmenabend ist es absolut nicht zu empfehlen aus meiner Sicht. Diese Rezession bezieht sich auf meine persönliche Meinung nicht auf die der Firma ! Das dies nicht falsch verstanden wird.

Samstags gegen 21:45 Uhr eingekehrt. Freundlicher Empfang, weiterer Service jedoch recht kühl, später auch individueller. Ambiente mit Stofftischdecken, klassischen Kronleuchter, Parkett, alles ordentlich aber altbacken. Erkennungszeichen eines türkischen Restaurants fehlten uns gänzlich, insbesonere da spanische Musik gespielt wurde. Der Hackspieß mit Gouda konnte nicht vollends überzeugen, da die Grillnote mit dem Gouda uns nicht harmonierte. Feta wäre hier unsere Wahl. Die Hähnchenspieße mit Gemüse waren lecker, leider jedoch mit Kartoffeln statt Reis serviert. Auf Nachfrage wurde mitgeteilt, der Reis sei aus, darum wurden frische Kartoffeln zubereitet. Geschmacklich war dieses passend, jedoch war der Reis mit der Auswahlgrund für das Gericht gewesen... Die Portionsgrößen waren alle gut uns sehr auskömmlich. Insgesamt ist das Restaurant eine Empfehlung.

Ich hatte Freitag , den 17.11.23 Hühnerfilet mit Champignonsosse ..es war unakzeptabel scharf, ungeniessbar..habe 2 Bissen zu mir genommen..der Hals brannte wie Feuer..das war es ...trotz Beanstandung meinerseits und Rückgabe eines vollen Tellers kam kein Wort der Entschuldigung oä..es wurde einfach ignoriert, der volle Preis in Rechnung gestellt und ich bin hungrig nach Hause gegangen.. Bin total enttäuscht von diesem Restaurant und werde es nicht mehr aufsuchen..

Auf der Suche nach einem guten türkischen Restauant waren wir zum ersten Mal im Bosporus. Leider war unsere Suche nicht erfolgreich. Was schon vor unserem Besuch auffiel: Auf der Homepage gibt es die Speisekarte nicht, nur einige Bilder ("Auszug aus der Speisekarte"). Auch nicht schön: Beim Anruf zur Reservierung meldete sich die Person mit "Hallo". Trotzdem haben wir es probiert. Die Vorspeise "Sigara Böregi" war als Blätterteigröllchen OK, aber laut Speisekarte sind die Röllchen gefüllt mit Schafskäse und Petersilie. Von dem Schafskäse war aber kaum etwas zu sehen/zu schmecken. Auch bei "Adana Kebap" stelle ich mir unter würzigen Hackfleischspießen nicht nur scharf, sondern auch gut gewürzt - eben würzige Spieße - vor. Auch beim Iskender fehlte die wohlschmeckende Würzung und die Tomatensoße erinnerte eher an Ketchup. Zumindest ungewöhnlich fanden wir auch, dass bei der Bestellung eines kleinen Wassers eine 0,5 Liter Flasche serviert wird. Auf Dessert/süßen Abschluss haben wir verzichtet. Ein paar Worte zum Service: Er war nicht herausragend, aber es wurde in angemessener Zeit serviert, was bestellt war. Allerdings empfinden wir es nicht so schön, wenn einige am Tisch noch essen und bei dem, der schon fertig ist, wird das Geschirr schon abgeräumt. Insgesamt leider kein gelungener Abend.

Ich war mit meinen Kolleginnen dort, und es war ein wunderschöner Abend, der Service war absolut gut das Essen super klasse, ich habe selten so gut in einem Restaurant gegessen. Das Ambiente in dem Restaurant war toll. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Ich war bereits einige Male im Bosporus essen und wurde bisher nie enttäuscht. Super leckeres Essen, dass Fleisch ist auf den Punkt genau gebraten, das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und der Service stets super und auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Eins meiner absoluten Lieblingsrestaurants!

Alles was wir bestellt haben,war ausgezeichnet 👌🏻 Personal war freundlich und total schnell,obwohl es sehr voll war. Atmosphäre war auch sehr angenehm.

Wir waren gestern zu viert zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant. Direkt am Eingang fiel mir die Glaskühlvitrine negativ auf. Diese ist wohl für Desserts gedacht. Diese Vitrine war dreckig und das Glas nur verschmiert. Es lag ein mascarpone Becher, schmierige Dosen und oben ein Tablett mit baklava. Na gut, wusste schon direkt hier wird nichts schmecken. So war es dann auch. Mein essen, Fleisch, war lauwarm bis kalt und ohne Geschmack. Von den anderen übrigens genauso. Der Kellner war nett aber überfordert, weil er alleine war. Sehr schade, mit sehr viel Verbesserungspotenzial und einen besseren Koch bitte! Das ist eine Beleidigung für die türkische Küche!

Sehr sehr netter Service und super leckeres Essen. Ausreichend große Portionen zu fairen Preisen. Eine Kegelbahn im Keller des Restaurants ist auch vorhanden, die wir ab und zu mal nutzen. Unten kann dann auch direkt gegessen werden, was auch super ist. Sehr zu empfehlen , wir kommen wieder und wieder :)

The food was goodish. On my way back home, I had stomach ache, I don’t know if it was because of the food or something else but I had no stomach ache before dinner. The overall impression is a Turkish restaurant in a German/ western setting. For me this is not it. If you like a place where you can order more western kind of Turkish food, this is the place to be. But if you want the Turkish hospitality and real Turkish food with at least Ayran to drink. This is not the place to be.

Essen schmeckt aber obwohl kaum Gäste im Restaurant, dauerte fast 1 Stunde bis das Essen kam.

Essen kam warm an, service war super , sehr leckere Spezialitäten Preis Leistung ist super und die Atmosphäre ist schön für einen tollen abend zu zweit oder auch als Familie super geeignet. Nummer 28 lamm rücken

Dinieren unter heimeligen Schein diverser Kronleuchter... Auf der Durchreise mit einer charmanten Kollegin dort abends vorbeigesehen. Nett und zuvorkommende Kellner begleiteten uns durch den Abend. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist vorzüglich und die optische Präsentation der Speisen signalisieren ein gehobeneres Segment, obwohl sich das preislich nicht bemerkbar macht. Sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich erkennt man, dass hier qualitativ hochwertige Lebensmittel verarbeitet werden.

Mekan çok sıkışık. Masaların arasında slalom yapmak zorundasınız.Kalabalik bir akşam saatinde hizmette aksamalar var. En önemlisi porsiyonlar küçük.Tam porsiyon karışık bir kebap karın doyurmaktan uzak.Ikinci kez gider miyim bilmiyorum.
