Best food ever. The location is just absolutely catastrophic. And unfortunately, it's gotten a bit more expensive.

Absolutely unfriendly service on the phone! My boyfriend was about to order a pizza and was immediately greeted with annoyance – no hello, no friendliness. He was constantly interrupted, and the employee even told him to 'stop telling a story' instead of simply placing his order. I've already advised him not to order anything else. On a Sunday evening, I can hardly imagine that there's so much stress that guests would be treated so rudely. Never again!

Super friendly, delicious food, fresh salads, tender, tasty bottles, friendly staff. Freshly brewed tea on the house. We'll be happy to come back again, no matter how far away.😋

Not recommended for your health! My ordered minced meat pide contained animal hair, and the salad served with it also contained hair. That all of this would be bad enough, but the fact that the employees are completely clueless about it and simply say "these things can happen" is a scandal. The fact that they react so calmly to such an incident shows that this is apparently common practice. Absolutely not recommended. I strongly advise everyone around me not to visit this place!

It is not clear what kind of meat it is, there is absolutely no meat taste at all. We bought 2 pitas. It was so bad that I could only eat one slice. It has nothing to do with meat bread, big cubes of onion, tomato paste and greens mixed together, it has an irrelevant taste. Even the meat could be fake pork. Let alone recommending it, I will not even go near it again. I do not forgive the 30 euros they charged. They should ask their conscience about the price of the product you bought and sell it fairly. I am really sorry, it is a shame.

It's both economical and clean, and the owner is a humble and unassuming person. I recommend it to everyone. He makes all his products in a black oven. Bon appetit!

What can I say? I'm disappointed. I've been going there occasionally for years. I haven't heard of any comparable lahmacun. What we got today wasn't lahmacun for me; it was much too thick. The minced meat filling tasted somewhat different, perhaps with different seasonings. They forgot to include the salad (we also forgot and noticed it when we got home). The staff were nice, but seemed very exhausted and unhappy.

Top-notch as always! I come here once or twice a week to enjoy the delicious food. The value for money is truly excellent.

I can say that it was the best pita I have ever eaten in Germany. It is cooked on a wood fire, maybe that is where its flavor comes from. I had a medium-sized meat loaf with minced meat. It was quite filling. They also serve salad I think the most negative aspect of this place is that the door handles of the sinks are oily. They have nice pitas after all.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Odun Firin in Dortmund with three other colleagues, and I have nothing but positive things to say! From the very first minute, we were captivated by the welcoming atmosphere and authentic ambiance. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made our visit even more enjoyable. I would especially like to highlight the pide – it was simply outstanding! The dough was perfectly thin and crispy, and the fillings were rich and full of flavor. Everyone enjoyed it and we agreed that it was the best pide we've eaten in a long time. In summary, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend Odun Firin. We will definitely be back soon to try more delicious dishes! Thank you to the entire team for a great culinary experience!

I visited Odunlu Firin, and the lahmacun were simply fantastic—the best I've ever eaten, even better than in Turkey. The pide was also very tasty. Unfortunately, the pizzas weren't that special, and while the shop had a cozy feel, it wasn't well-ventilated. The back room and the restroom smelled strongly of dough and yeast, which I found rather unpleasant. The service wasn't particularly good either. Overall, I give the shop three stars, and that's just because of the lahmacun.

Firstly, it didn't taste good. And secondly, he debited a larger amount from my bank card. When I asked why he deducted a higher amount from the order, he said because I pay with my bank card and pay the tex. This is the first time in Germany that customers pay the price for the food and also pay the Tex. They behave like a mafia and take additional money from customers as black money. And no one controls them. Shameless

Warning: health hazard! I'm not one to write bad reviews, but this is unreasonable. And it would be a failure to help if I didn't comment on it. I will also contact the health department. I have never experienced or eaten anything so disgusting in my life. I am absolutely shocked by what we had to experience at this restaurant. My visit ended in severe food poisoning and I can only strongly advise against ever eating here. There were two of us there and we were both probably served rotten meat. The consequences were catastrophic. One person vomited incessantly throughout the night. It was as if the body was defending itself against what was being done to it. I myself have the worst diarrhea of ​​my life and am still suffering from extreme stomach cramps over 12 hours later. I've never experienced anything like this before. I really thought I was dying. I can't fast today because of him. Because of that spoiled food, those stomach cramps. My whole day is ruined. I've been drinking tea for hours, taking painkillers, just to somehow get through this. Where is the health department? How can it be that a restaurant with such hygienic deficiencies is still open? The staff don't wear proper work clothes, everyone walks around as they please and if it looks like that in front of the guests, I don't want to imagine what's happening behind the counter. Please, all relevant authorities need to look at this! I am 100% sure the meat was at least two to three days old, if not older. This is not just negligent, this is alleged bodily harm. This store needs to be closed and those responsible must be held accountable. Anyone who sells spoiled food is playing with the health of their guests. This borders on attempted murder! I sincerely hope that the relevant authorities take on this case before more people have to suffer like we did.

It's actually delicious when you get your pide from the stone oven. But the minced meat was full of gristle and other indefinable things. Therefore, not a place I'll go to for pide a third time. Too bad

The most delicious pita I have ever eaten by German standards. The main thing about pita is that it is cooked in a wood-fired stone oven. It is very difficult to find such a bakery all the time, even in Turkey. Especially the pita options in three different sizes are very good. The medium size easily feeds an adult. It is well worth the price with its delicious shepherd's salad, tzatziki and spicy paste. As a family of 5, we can feed ourselves for 50-60 euros with drinks. Especially the owner of the bakery, Mr. Adem, is very polite towards the customers. Most of the time there is a treat or a discount. There is also free tea service. The only bad thing is the spicy paste. Because the paste has a taste more like medicine bitterness. It's probably caused by red pepper powder. It would be much better if the quality was increased a little. It would also be more hygienic and better if the toilet doors were replaced. I definitely recommend it. You will never regret it.

If you are in Dortmund and love meat pottery and Turkish pastries, this is the right place. Great wood fired food. I will always come back.

Super friendly staff. A very inconspicuous "snack bar". However, you can notice the surroundings there too, which is a good sign. The oven doesn't look like an ordinary oven either. The food was delicious and fresh. The lahmacun were very tasty and the pide and the kebab pizza (not a typical pizza) were also delicious. The dough was baked crispy on the edge, if you don't like that you should probably mention that it shouldn't be that crispy. I can recommend it.

When I visited a week ago, I was once again impressed by the consistency and freshness of the ingredients. What I was particularly pleased about was that the prices remained affordable. So you not only get excellent quality, but also an excellent price-performance ratio. All in all, I can absolutely recommend the Odunlu Firin in Dortmund. The consistent quality, incomparable taste and affordable prices make this restaurant a real gem in Dortmund's gastronomy scene.

Etli pide ist einfach genial man muss einmal genießen

War gestern mit meiner Familie hier essen, leider das Essen ist nicht mehr wie früher, die Pizza hat kaum Käse drauf, das Fleisch so wie Döner waren sehr salzig was ein Zeichen für ein nicht frisches Fleisch ist, das Brot war schlecht gebacken bzw. es wurde uns noch besser beschrieben als Brotteig angeboten!! Leider nie wieder hin.

Das Ambiente des Restaurants war einladend und gemütlich. Die orientalische Dekoration und die angenehme Hintergrundmusik schufen eine warme Atmosphäre, die perfekt zu einem authentischen türkischen Essen passte.

Immer wieder eine Freude hier essen zu gehen, einer meiner Lieblingsläden was Pide betrifft. Klein aber fein.

Qualität wird immer schlechter, bald ist da gar kein Fleisch mehr drauf.

Wir waren gestern zum letzten Mal dort. Das Essen war gut wie immer, allerdings wurde es 2 Mal abkassiert! Die sichtlich aggressiven Herren hinter dem Tresen wollten sich plötzlich nicht mehr daran erinnern, dass die Speisen mit Aufgabe der Bestellung bezahlt wurden, und brüllten ungehalten nach der Bezahlung der (bereits bezahlten) Rechnung. Es wirkte so, als wurde das nicht zum ersten Mal gemacht.

Wahnsinn, ich bin hier nachts um 12 Uhr stockbesoffen vorbeigekommen und habe wirklich einen dürem bekommen, der sich gewaschen hat. Eigentlich bin ich immer noch besoffen, aber dieser Dürüm war echt sehr lecker. Respekt an die Jungs, dass sie auch einem dahergelaufenen Betrunken so einen Gaumenschmaus bereitet haben. Für 6 € übrigens auch riesige Portion.

Vor 38 Jahren war ich als kleiner Junge zum ersten Mal in der Türkei dort habe ich damals. Die mit Abstand Beste pide der Welt gegessen,danach kam leider die nächsten 37 Jahre nur noch bäh und dann habe ich euch besucht . Ich weiss nicht ob sich das einer vorstellen kann aber als ich den ersten bis von nr.6 im Mund hatte ( zum Glück stand ich alleine vor der Tür) sind mit wirklich Tränen der Freude übers Gesicht gelaufen. Wenn man von Montags bis Sonntags bis 4 Uhr morgens frisches, gutes Essen macht und der Laden fast immer voll ist, heißt es schon was. Sehr große Portionen für einen guten Preis.

Sehr gemütlich. Mann kann hier nicht nur Brot und Brötchen kaufen sondern hier gibt es noch viel Auswahl von Kuchen bis Torten. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Kann man natürlich nicht mit den super leckeren Pides in der Türkei vergleichen trotzdem hätte es besser schmecken können. 21€ für 3 Pide fand ich auch zu teuer. Die Salate die es dazugab hätte man sich sparen können.Null Geschmack Tomaten Gurken wässrig. Für 21€ gibts in der Türkei 12 Pides. Aber da ist Essen eh immer günstig.
