5 stars – highly recommended! At Ocakbaşı Fahri Usta you don't just get food, but a real taste experience! The meat is perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, the side dishes are fresh and lovingly prepared. The Adana kebab and lamb skewers in particular were incredibly tasty – tender, juicy and full of flavor. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, the service is attentive and friendly. If you love authentic Turkish cuisine, this is the right place for you!

The doner is legendary!! The only real doner meat I have ever seen in Germany. The only place I can definitely recommend to those who want to eat real Turkish doner. The location is just awful. Parking is also a bit difficult.

Delicious Turkish food – the grilled dishes, doner kebab, and soup were particularly delicious. Friendly service, lovely tea, and delicious dessert. We'd gladly go back!

Hello, we were there with three colleagues on May 23rd around 9 p.m. It was moderately busy. It took 15 minutes for us to order. There was one server for 25 customers. We ordered one iskender and two doner kebab plates, two ayrans, and one cola. Since there were a lot of customers and not enough food in the kebab skewers, there wasn't enough doner meat in the plate. They cooked to the highest temperature faster. Some of them were burnt, so our doner kebab didn't taste good. The worst thing was that they ripped us off for €43.50. I recommend visiting during quieter times, no matter which kebab shop. We went to the restaurant for breakfast for my brother's civil wedding - and it was just perfect! The food was fresh, rich and super tasty. Everything was lovingly prepared and the selection really met every taste. I would also particularly like to emphasize the cleanliness and the friendly service – we all felt very comfortable. A wonderful start to a special day. Many thanks to the whole team!

There's now a new owner who's taken on the "new breath of fresh air" motto. The inventory shows that positive changes have been made, and the new owner confirmed this in a brief chat. My kebab was delicious, but that didn't surprise me, as the snack bar has been serving 100% veal with no fat or minced meat for over 30 years. Keep it up!

Very tasty food and freshly prepared, and the staff were very friendly and polite.

Unfortunately, everything in general has deteriorated. The food is inedible and in my opinion not much is suitable for breakfast. The furniture and dishes are carelessly prepared. It's not like it used to be. Sad but true.

I would like to not give a single star but unfortunately it doesn't work! We only drank one soup and it really didn't taste good at all, the lentil soup wasn't lentil soup but tasted bland, like flour. In addition, charging €2.60 for water is probably an impudence! Water, cola, etc. are billed at the same price. I understand making a profit, but not with water that costs 25 cents to buy and can be found in every Turkish supermarket for 50 cents!!

Terrible! Were in Gelsenkirchen yesterday and got hungry. We wanted to take advantage of the evening buffet offered there for 4 people, but heard that it was no longer offered. (But it is still advertised throughout the building!) On the flimsy menu, many dishes were crossed out with Edding (steak menu, kebab dishes). We men first ordered a tea (according to the menu 1€!) while the ladies went shopping. After they returned, we decided to eat somewhere else thanks to the lack of a buffet and then had to hear that we had to pay 6€ for 2 glasses of tea, even though they are 1€ on the menu! So customer advertising works differently!
