Worst kebab in a long time, waiters don't really listen and are immediately annoyed, prices have risen by €1 and very little sauce! Last time here.

Great Turkish restaurant with authentic dishes I recently stayed at Sultan Saray in Gelsenkirchen and had a very good experience. The food is really tasty and authentic – the meat dishes and the freshly baked flatbread are particularly a highlight. The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is good. The atmosphere is cozy and you feel welcome. One small criticism is that the service was a little slower on the day we visited, even though the restaurant wasn't crowded. Nevertheless, the employees were very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a recommended restaurant if you are looking for authentic Turkish cuisine!

I've been eating here for years, but recently the kebab meat has suddenly become extremely greasy. The older gentleman at the counter and the young man with glasses always make small portions so that for €6.50 you get a salad bag instead of a kebab bag. Tam miser the one with glasses!!

The way people with walking disabilities are treated and it is assumed that they have drunk alcohol is simply disgusting!!!! It is offered that you show your disability certificate... it is denied and it is further assumed that you have drunk alcohol. A disabled person was simply thrown out of the store... just an outrage.

Unfortunately we received inedible food at a late hour, the meat was relatively rubbery and gristly. Price/performance unfortunately inadequate!

Doner kebab was stuffed full of sauce. Lamajun (it has a different name there) aluminum foil totally stuck to the food every time I took a bite I had aluminum foil in my mouth. No thanks

Wer diesem Döner mehr als ein oder zwei Sterne gibt, hat entweder keine Ansprüche oder ist total voll! Die Döner-Qualität tendiert gen Null. Komplett trocken, lieblos. Die Servicekräfte sind mehr als unfreundlich. Es gibt in den Straßen drumherum ZIG bessere Döner-Läden!

The best kebab shop I've seen in Gelsenkirchen so far. And I think those at the counter are the least responsible. The store has to have something, otherwise it wouldn't have been doing so well for years. If something is wrong, the meat is raw and there is not enough meat in it, then you are welcome to tell us and we will try to do the best for you. We always try to do the best for the customers. I also think the guy at the counter does a great job no matter how busy there is.

It is often quite crowded, especially in the evenings. This shows how much people enjoy eating there. We are always satisfied and the food tastes very good.

We ordered food inside to take away, employees were cheeky and cheeky, the bread was burnt on the surface and the worst thing was that there was a hair in our salad, we didn't feel like complaining and didn't have the time!! We will avoid this store in the future.

Staff become overwhelmed the later in the evening. It used to be really good, but now I'm happy with the fact that the store seems to be running smoothly anyway. It's a shame, but it's inflexible, everything has to go in a jagged fashion, wishes just get annoying... preferably "with everything" because it's quicker. Tadi MarifET is by far the better choice in Buer. Service just not good here...

Unfortunately, the service is only rated with one star due to the reaction from the manager. After the feedback from the waitress, the “boss” came and commented negatively on the criticism. In addition, when I paid, the waitress commented on this review before I could submit it. As a “boss” you should be able to deal with constructive criticism. No card payment possible.

Service OK, unfortunately food not good

So I paid €24.20 for 2 “half” kebabs, 1 large fries and 2 0.33 Cola Zero. At most, I'll just go to the toilet because the portions are so small that you can almost finish a kebab with everything on top. My cousin's kebab simply didn't have any sauce even though he ordered it and given that the meat was delivered frozen it was MUCH too expensive. Conclusion: If you're hungry, it's better to eat at beyto or the one opposite, because the only thing it has compared to the competition is the location. (Otherwise no one would go there a second time and they would have gone bankrupt)

First, we went to Marifet, which is a little further away, and when we had an argument about the waiting time, we left there and came here.. As someone who has tried literally 100 doner restaurants in Europe, I say: there are much better ones, but it was ok before the match.. The amount of doner kebab with bread was average..

It's very loud there and the waitresses aren't that friendly. When it comes to food, some things are okay and some things are really bad. We didn't feel comfortable because we had the feeling that the winemakers didn't really know how to really treat the customer. We also couldn't have a conversation because of the volume. A visit to a restaurant should be something nice and not something stressful because we just didn't feel good afterwards.

It was very central but service is questionable after ordering just soups over 20 minutes let alone grill plate almost an hour something like that is not recommended

The restaurant is currently in its down phase again. Those who have been coming here for years know what I mean. Doner kebab pockets are salad pockets dripping with oil, chicken skewers etc. have been arriving raw lately.

The restaurant is centrally located. After we placed our order it took around 20 minutes for the food to arrive. When the food arrived, one of the dishes was cold or not fully cooked. Of course we let them know and it was replaced. Unfortunately it was also cold. We ate anyway. At the table next to us there was apparently a children's birthday party as it was very loud. That was very annoying because you couldn't eat in peace. Unfortunately, based on all the points, I can only give it two stars.

The tall young man with a full beard standing behind the counter didn't really understand me. then I wanted someone else to serve me. and he suddenly became aggressive. he almost threw the bowl of fries on my head. then said swear words in Turkish. is impudence. and I left without anything to buy. People go Leiber somewhere else. But if you really wanted to go there, don't let him serve you.

The kebab was okay, but the meat was a bit too salty, service was great, ambience was okay. Above all, the price is top 6.50 euros and there is a lot of meat in it and no salad bag like in many kebab shops

Price-performance ratio is not right here at all. We waited over 30 minutes for the food. People who came after us received their food before us. In addition, the prices have risen again, a grill plate currently costs €19.90 so I prefer to go to the Chinese restaurant and eat all you can eat.

I'm very sorry, the service was very nice, but I was very overwhelmed and sometimes I wouldn't be understood at all because my German was sometimes very weak. I think the store is great, I've often eaten there and often ordered something to take away and I find the employees very polite. It's completely normal for them to come across as rude given all the stress when there's a lot going on. You are always treated very politely at the counter. The boy behind the counter with the pigtail is incredibly polite and no matter how busy there is, he always seems very relaxed and always has everything under control. Great shop, I recommend everyone to eat there

The soup is good, the meat is good, but the service of the two sullen waitresses who don't know anything about business was very bad. Der Mann hinter der Theke war sehr unfreundlich... Eine Bedienung ebenso... Ansonsten - den Döner kann man schon essen, ist jedoch Standard. Ich denke, dass der Döner nicht aus viel Schichtfleisch besteht, sondern hauptsächlich aus Hackfleisch. Die Würzung ist ok. Die Bräunung war bei meinem nicht so gut, war auch nicht ganz heiß. Die Konsistenz nicht soo gut und die Soße war sehr kalt, was den Döner nochmal abgekühlt hat. Alles in allem - Standard. Kann man essen. 3 Sterne

Ein absolut schönes Erlebnis. Selten habe ich so gut gegessen wie in diesem Restaurant. Das Siskebab war so saftig, dass keine Soße etc nötig war. Die Köfte waren perfekt gewürzt. So leckere türkische Pizza habe ich noch nie gegessen. Man durfte so viel Tee trinken wie man möchte.
