Your lamb skewer is catastrophic, I couldn't finish it. Adana is fine. Doner kebab is nothing special but you can eat it. Overall, I'm very disappointed because the food used to be better. To be honest, it's no longer worth a visit, which is a shame.

I happened to be there for breakfast this morning. The selection was really extensive and I really didn't miss anything. To be more precise, you won't be able to try nearly everything if you want to. The service was very nice and all my questions were answered very courteously and politely. I was also able to discover one or two highlights for myself in terms of taste. One additional request, but that's complaining at the highest level, would be to offer perhaps half of the scrambled eggs without sucuk. I would love to come back and recommend you.

Bought a kebab again today after a year and was very disappointed. Unlike before, there was very little meat, cold after 1 minute because you were too lazy to cut the meat off the skewer

Lots of seating, large selection, delicious food. We often pick things up here during our lunch break. It's always delicious, the price and portion are completely okay. It's always full, but everything runs smoothly.

We went there for coffee in the morning. It was very good! Unfortunately we had already had breakfast, so we couldn't try the very rich and fresh breakfast buffet. But visually it was definitely an A! We were served and informed very nicely and attentively. We'll be back! Addendum 01/13/25 - We were here for dinner today. We had the chicken kebab plate and a grill plate. Everything was very fresh and delicious. A really recommendable place👍👍👍 It was just a little cool. But that's because the guest room is very large.

The business owner Ali Abi is a very warm and friendly person. I can say that it is the best kebab I have eaten in Germany so far. It's not a minced meat kebab, but a real Yaprak kebab. In addition, the breakfast was really excellent. I don't give recommendations easily, but I can recommend this place with a clear conscience. Ali Abi, we will definitely see each other again!

So I don't know what to say, I'm at a loss for words. Marifet is no longer what it used to be. The meat was raw and screamed the fries were smeared with a homemade sauce which was unappetizing. I put my kebab back in front of marifet because it was so unappetizing. It's a total loss that they want 6.50 for something like that. I don't know where the world will take me anymore, but what I do know is that I'll never go to Marifet again

So I'm sorry, I've been eating kebab for over 15 years, but marifet isn't an option, I'd rather starve than spend another cent there. My ass will definitely never enter this rancid store again - you pay for nuts and stomachaches😜

I'm really sorry. The kebab was very tasty but I waited over an hour for the kebab. That doesn't work at all.

Even if you have been a customer for years, you no longer need a card. The grilled dishes are highly recommended and don't get too attached to the kebab and dare to eat something.

I used to enjoy eating here often. Unfortunately, the last visit was a disappointment. My meat was burnt and poorly seasoned. Unfortunately the taste has really degraded. My wife's dish, Manti, was also unconvincing. Regarding the starter: Bread was cold and had probably been lying around for a while. Sauces/dips were delicious though.

Unfortunately the kebab doesn't taste particularly good, the meat is very oily and the bread wasn't crispy and lukewarm and the tzatziki is like mayo and has no place in the kebab. There were five of us there and everyone didn't like it.

Absolutely not the same anymore. The staff is totally inattentive. Behind the counter, some creams are smeared on the face and instead of serving, people are chilling on their cell phones. The chicken skewers were completely dry and burnt. Unfortunately not again.

Absolutely disappointing, the staff obviously understands very little German, or doesn't want to understand it. The absolutely fatty meat was also much better. I was shocked by the price: the small one! A portion of kebab meat costs 9.90 euros - how much does the large one cost? I follow the reviews of many Turkish guests here and no longer visit the place because I feel like I've been ripped off. The operators and staff should be ashamed.

Food was delicious, unfortunately cold. Delivered without a heat box, just packed in a bag.

Previously friendly and clean, now unfriendly and unclean. They suddenly forgot how to wash the glasses. The waitresses became so unfriendly that we decided never to come back. And the beef tastes like dog food smells.

Disappointed!!!!!! I have been a satisfied customer of MarifET Charcoal Grill for a long time, but unfortunately I have to say that the quality of both the service and the taste have deteriorated significantly recently. On my last visit, I waited almost an hour for two kebabs, only to realize that we had simply been forgotten. Of course, mistakes can happen, so I gave the restaurant another chance and visited again. This time my wife ordered Beyti Sarma but the minced meat was undercooked. When asked, it was served again, but the problem persisted. My Dürüm was also disappointing. The smell of the bread was strongly reminiscent of vinegar, which massively affected the enjoyment. To top it off, we took home three Turkish pizzas (lahmacun), which were extremely spicy - without us ordering them. Normally lahmacun should not be spicy unless specifically requested. And now the pain is in my stomach!! Unfortunately I have to say that the store is now closed for me. The waiters were friendly, but that's not enough to make up for the disappointing experience. I hope that MarifET will fix the problems in the kitchen and service soon, because I would like it to be as good as before.

The Dürüm tastes like vinegar. After opening it twice, the Beyti Sarma meat was still not cooked through, so we gave it back. Finally, the 4x Lahmacun that we took home were extremely spicy, as if it had been deliberately made worse. Never again . I think it's a shame because we used to always go there. How can Lahmacun be so spicy even though I like spicy, I can only imagine because we returned a meal that was seasoned. Supper Marifet👏👏👏👏

We stopped there by chance and didn't regret it. Very tasty food in a cozy atmosphere. We really liked it; we'll definitely be back!

Great restaurant and pleasant service. Unfortunately the food wasn't really what I'm used to. We had Mercimek soup which tasted good, unfortunately it was only warm. Then mixed meat plates, where the meat wasn't always cooked through and didn't taste good.

Four of us were there after visiting the Movie Park. It was really great. The price-performance is right. I poured out the coke - got a new one straight away and a new table. The waiter gave us very good advice and even tried to find the best “menu combination”. The food was really great. We had the grill platter, iskender and sarma beyti. The meat was super tender, the included starter was super tasty and the fries were nice and crispy. Everything was perfect. Unfortunately the toilets weren't completely clean, so 1* deduction for the ambience.

Were guests in Gelsenkirchen and just wanted to eat something quick 😃. We received a very friendly welcome and were immediately asked for drinks. I then looked around first and was surprised by the large selection of dishes on offer. We were first given dip and bread while our food was being prepared. You can get as much tea as you want for free. Our service was very friendly and we felt we were in good hands. Food was super tasty. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Gelsenkirchen. Great team keep it up 💪

We had brunch here on Sunday with our birthday child. It's a Turkish restaurant, so please don't expect a German breakfast buffet. The food was delicious, there were some Turkish specialties that you could try. The staff was really nice and asked us straight away when we arrived whether we wanted a vase for the bouquet. Price-performance is also good, as the drinks offered at the buffet are included in the price.

I'm mainly talking about food here. We were absolutely not thrilled and dissatisfied. The meat was just far dry and tasteless. Overall, the kebab was very sparsely filled - the first bites were just bread. Sauces also just very tasteless. Salad OK. On the kebab plate there was only a sauce on the meat and it was completely watery, as if it had been stretched. There are definitely much better places for the prices.

Been there for the first and last time. Staff very unfriendly and some hardly speak any German. The kebab is made of low-quality meat and the fat runs out of the bottom of the kebab bag.... Asking that much money for that is absolutely impossible. The leftover bread is collected in a corner and passed on to the next guest!!!!!! When I saw that, it was all over me!

The meat is of absolutely inferior quality and I and many other friends of mine had to struggle with stomach cramps, diarrhea and vomiting after a visit to Marifet. A visit from the health department would definitely be appropriate, such conditions are simply unacceptable.

Had a grill plate, the mixed meat (Adana skewer, chicken pieces from the skewer, kofta, piece of lamb and beef from the skewer) was very tasty and juicy. There was also a small salad and 3 yoghurt-based dips. The kebab skewer also looked delicious, I will try it next time.

I ordered meat-leg soup and minced meat pita. I don't think there is enough meat in the soup for the price, and its taste is not worth trying. The minced meat pita was full but I found the taste weak. Since I came from the Netherlands, I placed my order in Turkish, not German, and although the waitresses could understand me, they answered in German. I am pleased with the other staff, they were very polite and understanding.

True, for the first and last time there, I ordered a kebab that in the end only tasted like salad and saziki because they were stingy with meat. Then I'd rather give my money to another kebab shop that doesn't rip me off

I have never eaten better veal kebab (Yaprak style). The tastiest tenderest meat possible. One of the few that doesn't have salt. Also prepared very quickly! All this for an unbeatable price of €6.50

On July 13th, 24 at 7 p.m. we sat down outside. No one came for 20 minutes after we asked us to order. We had to get tickets to the table ourselves. After waiting for 20 minutes we got up. First and last time.

We sat down with our friends, we placed our order, our cola arrived, wait for the food, my father is not coming, when I asked, they said it could take 25-30 minutes.. which we said was just doner kebab.. I have never seen a doner order take half an hour in my life.. let's say it is taking place, even though we stated that we were going to the match, no one said that. They didn't give us any information about how long we had to wait until we asked. We paid for the coke and left, they didn't even say sorry.

Very good in taste and quality. As with many other fast food shops, what is particularly extreme here is that the portions are getting smaller and the prices are getting higher. If you aren't put off by this, you can get delicious food here, freshly prepared from the charcoal grill and homemade and freshly baked flatbread.

The food came quickly and the store is cheap. My Adana was partly below average, but in my opinion it fits somewhere in terms of price/performance. You can definitely eat there if you're in the area and want to satisfy your hunger quickly. I was there very late at night. Accessibility and parking were difficult.

I went in to buy Pommes while I was going to visit my mother at the hospital. There was beer in the fridge inside, so they sell beer. If I had seen it before or knew that alcohol was sold, I would not have gone anyway. How halal can the meat of a place that sells alcohol be? Can a manager who is not sensitive to haram be sensitive to halal meat??? Even if the meat is halal and they served me the cheapest meal, I would not go to that place because it sells alcoholic beverages. I don't think any sane Muslim would go and eat there.

The portions have become smaller for the price/performance ratio. The taste has diminished. It just doesn't taste as good as it used to. Even the fries didn't taste good, they weren't crispy but hard..! Sorry.

I eat here regularly when I have to go to City Buer. The food is always really good and everyone in service is very nice. I think it's nice that you can sit outside here in the center. The breakfast buffet is also recommended. I'm already looking forward to the next time...

I was there for iftar, the service was rushed and Adana wasn't as we know it, so for me personally the trip here from Bielefeld wasn't worth it.

Unfortunately very disappointing... We drove there for half an hour because of the good reviews. After we sat down, we were ignored. People walked past us several times and still didn't pay any attention to us. It was only after 30 minutes that they brought us a card. A large family sat down behind us and after about 2 minutes they were given bread and drinks as a starter (apparently fellow countrymen). We ordered bread as a starter, but it wasn't brought at all. We got our food after about 20 minutes. Extremely long waiting time for a kebab plate and a kebab. The food was delicious but unfortunately the meat was already cold. Waiting a total of almost 1 hour and being ignored and preferring other guests is simply not possible! You didn't feel welcome! We're not coming anymore!

Meat doesn't have much taste for the money. Unfortunately it's a waste of money. So I won't eat there again and I won't recommend it.
