Geht besser was den Service betrifft aber dafür macht es das Essen geschmacklich etwas wieder gut

Meine Familie und ich aßen da es war sehr warm meine Schwester und mein Bruder mussten mit mir und meiner Mutter raus so war es war früher war der Service war viel besser die Kinder haben ein chupa chups bekommen und die Erwachsenen wurden gefragt ob die Kaffee oder Tee wollen jetzt ist das Essen viel zu teuer und viel zu warm es man da schwer atmen kann und man kann nicht ruhig essen

Am 4.7.26 aßen meine Familie und ich da. Die Preise sind massiv gestiegen, der Lokal gabt es keine Klimaanlage wo wir angefangen zu essen konnte man nicht essen so warm es war meine Tochter war es sogar schwindlig. Früher war das viel besser

Viel Auswahl eine vielfältige Karte mit selbstgemachtem Ayran. Der schwarze Tee ist gut, es gibt auch Wasser zum Verdünnen! Die Bedienungen sind auch immer nett und hilfsbereit, sie zeigen einem alles, wenn man etwas nicht versteht. Es gibt täglich ein neues Mittagsgericht. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Es gibt tolle Bilder, eine Wand mit Pflanzen und einen RIESIGEN Fernseher, auf dem man zum Beispiel Fußball gucken kann. Alles in Allem, eine 1.000/10.

Das Essen war wirklich top. Hatte Köfte und ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass es die besten Köfte waren, die ich bislang im Ruhrgebiet gegessen habe (und ich habe fast überall gegessen). Service war super, schnell und freundlich. Edith: War nun, knapp anderthalb Jahre später, nochmal dort und es war wieder super. Zudem wurde der Laden renoviert. Von mir eine absolute Empfehlung, geht da unbedingt hin.

Das essen war sehr gut man kann auch preislich gar nicht meckern👍😁. Frisch, sauber, super lecker und eine riesen Auswahl. Würde ich immer gerne wiederholen.

Meiner Meinung nach haben wir in NRW qualitativ hochwertigere und leckerere Döner als in Berlin und Tadi MarifET ist einer davon. Zusammen mit Bizim Corbacı und Artuklu gehört dieser Döner zu meiner Top 3 in Gelsenkirchen (alle anderen Döner, die ich bis jetzt in Gelsenkirchen probiert habe, waren aber auch top). ​Ich hatte einen Dönerteller mit Reis sowie Lahmacun. Das Fleisch ist gut gewürzt, außen kross und innen schön saftig. Es hat für mich die perfekte Konsistenz. Der Reis war butterweich und sehr lecker. Der Lahmacun war hauchdünn und knusprig, hat gut geschmeckt. ​Die Inneneinrichtung ist schön und einladend. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Schöner Ort, guter Service, man spricht auch Englisch und Polnisch. Das Essen war gut.

Der neue Steak Döner bei Marifet ist einfach top! Super leckeres Fleisch, frische Zutaten und richtig guter Geschmack. Absolut empfehlenswert – komme gerne wieder!

Wir sind seit vielen Jahren zufriedene Gäste. Es ist immer alles top! Freundlichkeit, Sauberkeit, Qualität des Essens. Wir sind immer sehr zufrieden. Egal ob Tagesgericht, Döner, Grillteller, Frühstück. Wir essen sehr gerne dort. Das Ambiente ist durch die Renovierung noch schöner geworden😁Schlechte Bewertungen können nicht echt sein oder die haben den falschen Laden bewertet. Z. B. wird das Fladenbrot dort immer selber frisch gebacken und nie gekauft.🤷

Fantastisches Essen und unglaublich freundliche Menschen

Ich empfehle Ihnen, die verschiedenen Geschmacksrichtungen zu probieren.

Bestellung: Döner komplett gemischt, Steak und Chicken 8,50€ Richtiges Restaurant mit genügend Plätzen. Personal sehr freundlich. Döner Brot mit viel Sesam, außen Kross innen weich. Lecker Steakfleisch schmeckt wie Rinderbraten 😋 lecker, Chicken Fleisch gut gewürzt auch lecker. Salate alle frisch und knackig sowie Rotkohl ( nicht sauer eingelegt) Scharfe Soße eher mild, sowie Joghurt Soße, frischer Geschmack. Cocktail Soße hat ich nicht drauf, jedenfalls nicht raus geschmeckt. Ein leckerer und empfehlenswerter Döner 🤤 👍

Leider ist meine Familie mit einer Lebensmittelvergiftung nach Hause gekommen. Dementsprechend war die Nacht und keiner ist Arbeitsfähig... möglicherweise war das Essen nicht so sauber

Heute mit Freunden ohne Reservierung Iftar gehabt und wir haben einen super guten Service bekommen. Die Kellner waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für jeden, der sein Iftar mit der Familie möchte, empfehle ich dieses Restaurant. Preise sind zwar eher höher aber bei dem Service absolut Fair und gerechtfertigt. (Das Steakdönerfleisch hat glaub ich eine Note von Lamm nur zur Info)

Sehr leckeres türkisches Restaurant! Ich habe den Adana gegessen – das Fleisch war perfekt gewürzt, saftig und frisch. Der Service war freundlich und das Essen kam schnell. Komme gerne wieder!

Die Bedienung war wirklich sehr nett und aufmerksam, aber das Essen war leider eine absolute Katastrophe. Wir hatten den Kalbsdöner und die Scampis in der Tonschale. Die Portionen waren winzig und entsprachen überhaupt nicht den Bildern hier bei Google – dass das so serviert wird, ist schon grenzwertig. Das Fleisch vom Kalbsdöner wirkte wie aufgewärmt und schmeckte, als sei es schon 2 Tage alt. Hätte ich mir den Dönerspieß vorher angesehen, hätte ich die Bestellung niemals aufgegeben. Sehr enttäuschend.

Bester Kalbdöner den es gibt. Komme seid jahren hierher. Bin immer wieder begeistert. Der Service einfach nur Super und freundlich. Freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch

Wir sind schon lange Stammkunden....Gestern nach dem Brand endlich mal wieder dort Essen gegangen...Der Döner war super lecker....ich wurde freundlichst begrüßt und die Bedienung ist auch sehr freundlich gewesen...Die schlechten Bewertungen sollen niemandem abhalten dort essen zu gehen...es sind Bewertungen die ich nicht ernst nehme und mich selbst überzeugt habe.... schön das ihr wieder da seit....

It says "Open," I drove 25 minutes just to get there, and what do I see? The place is completely closed for renovations. You couldn't be more stupid.

Google says it's open. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed due to a fire. I find it a shame that this wasn't mentioned. I drove there for nothing today. What a pity.

Raw meat in my pom kebab, lights turned off while there were still customers in the shop, card payments not possible without warning, not all food items available, disgusting!!!

Very tasty always worth a visit when I am there

The food wasn't that good. The guy slapped two spoonfuls of sauce on the pom-doner. It was like soup. The staff, except for one woman, were very unfriendly.

The open buffet breakfast is delicious. It's worth going there just for the freshly baked pita they bring for breakfast; it tastes just like Ramadan pita.

We went to the breakfast buffet at Marifet and were unfortunately very disappointed. We weren't greeted upon entering, and no one attended to us during our entire stay – they didn't ask if everything was okay or if we wanted anything extra. The buffet itself was equally disappointing: • All the hot dishes (egg dishes, vegetable gratin, potatoes) were completely cold. • The potatoes in the gratin were even raw. • Much of the food tasted bland and poorly prepared. At the end, when we paid, we were asked whether we wanted the hot or cold buffet – which, to be honest, left us speechless, as we only found cold dishes. Paying by card also seemed unwelcome, even though the amount was over €20. Overall, we felt neither welcome nor well looked after. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've experienced unfriendly and indifferent service at this restaurant. It's a real shame, as Marifet actually has a good reputation in the area, but in our opinion, it's steadily declining. Fortunately, there are plenty of alternatives.

I chose the restaurant based on Google reviews. In my opinion, the place doesn't deserve that many points. The kebab is okay. It's not a must-have for me.

I've rarely eaten such a bad tuna salad. A green salad with a few tiny pieces of tomato scattered across the plate, a ladle of tzatziki on top, and tuna pieces scattered throughout. No corn, no egg... nothing. My husband's fries were also barely edible, crispy on the outside and soggy on the inside. The service was very friendly.

The fresh, homemade food is impressive. The service is more than friendly. From fine dining to kebabs to go, everything is simply fantastic.

Didn't meet my expectations. I wanted to go to a famous competitor nearby, which unfortunately closed at 10 p.m. By 10:05 p.m., the skewer had already rolled down quite a bit (I wasn't expecting prime burgers at that time either), but the meat was full of gristle and chunks of fat, not tasty, the sauce was not tasty, and the vegetables were no longer fresh. I just don't understand how that can be when the store is open until 1 a.m.

!!!Our last visit to this restaurant!!!! Unfortunately, we have to say that the hygiene was an absolute nightmare. I was shocked when I was washing my hands in the washroom and a member of staff came in wearing disposable gloves, which she would later use to serve food. She had been to the restroom, came out, and didn't wash her hands. Then she immediately started serving food – wearing the same gloves. It was truly worrying. The food also left a lot to be desired: some of it was spoiled, there were eggshells in the scrambled eggs, the salads weren't washed, and the cups and glasses were dirty. I don't even want to imagine the conditions under which the food is prepared. I didn't really want to write this review, but perhaps it will help the restaurant return to its original, good standards. It's a shame – I used to enjoy coming here with my family. However, after this experience, we will look for another option.

Ordered a kebab directly from the shop, and the meat, like everything else, was cold. I definitely wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone.

The doner kebab man just eats Adana from my Adana bag and I've been lied to and ripped off a few times, worst doner shop

The worst kebab I've ever eaten there. Soft bread, soggy, completely flavorless meat, not a single browned spot, no roasted flavor at all. The best part was the white cabbage, but how could you go wrong with that? The quantity was much smaller than usual. You used to be barely able to hold the kebab wrap with two hands, but now there's almost nothing in it. No wonder they've lost so many customers. I won't be buying anything there again. What a shame!

The food arrives cold. But that's completely understandable, considering you've been waiting 30 minutes for doner meat. The side dish (bread) comes without a plate, but with cutlery. If you want to spill something on the table, fine; you'll just adapt. I'd be happy to do it somewhere else, but not there in the future.

The food was inedible! There was very little meat, but bread was smuggled in, making it impossible to eat. It was hard to chew. Despite complaining, they charged us the full price. 🤢

The doner kebab plate was perfect. It was worth the trip out of Essen.

Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. Suggestions for improvement: Air conditioning instead of ceiling fans. Suggesting portion sizes on the menu would be better.

I'm hereby reviewing the breakfast buffet... First of all, I found the restaurant very nice, large, bright, and inviting. You could sit inside or outside. I thought the breakfast buffet was quite good for €12 (they also included doner kebab meat). The tzatziki and other similar dips were really good. The coffee machine, however, worked very slowly (you had to wait in line for a while), and all the coffees tasted very, very weak. Well... And then I'd like to point out that the manager would definitely benefit from a little smile now and then!

I was there with my son. We were really hungry. We spared no expense and ordered two portions of grilled meat. The meat, whether chicken or ribs, was all too dry. The Adana skewer had too much fat. The only thing that was tasty was the salad. We also wanted to have kunefe, but after a very long wait, we lost our appetite for it.

Unfortunately, disappointing service – despite good food I've been ordering here regularly for years because the food is truly delicious – to be fair. Unfortunately, the service consistently falls well short of what one would expect. What happened to me with my last order, however, is the icing on the cake. Once again, an order was placed via Lieferando – and once again, it wasn't executed correctly. The Dürüm Döner Tavuk was again incorrectly prepared. When I called, I was simply offered the correct delivery next time. An apology? None. When I followed up, I was suddenly told they were out of Tavuk kebabs. So, with a growling stomach, I had to choose an alternative. Again: no apology, no understanding. The replacement delivery was confirmed by phone – with the note that it "might take a while." And it did: a wait of almost an hour, while my family had long since eaten. When I expressed my anger again, all I got was a terse "It's not my fault." The highlight, however, was the question during delivery, whether I could take the incorrect product back. Why? To resell it? To consume it? Or to indirectly insinuate that I had made up the mistake to get a free kebab? That's truly audacious. The bottom line: good food, unacceptable service. This was my last order. There are many other restaurants in Buer with good food and respectful customer service.

Overall, visiting this restaurant was a very pleasant experience. The service deserves special mention; it was truly top-notch – attentive, friendly, and fast. You immediately felt like you were in good hands. The food was satisfactory overall. The mixed grill platter was plentiful and visually appealing – the Adana skewer and the chicken were particularly well-seasoned. The side dishes, such as rice, flatbread, and salad, were solid, but rather average in taste. The appetizer selection provided some variety.

Like every year for my dad's birthday we ate there with the whole family and as always the service was top class, so hospitable and respectful, I can recommend it to everyone. Teşekkürler 🥰👍

We went there for breakfast today and were extremely disappointed. There used to be a lot of choice, and I used to enjoy going there. Today, it was really disappointing—there was very little choice. It's a shame.

We waited an hour for two doner kebabs, even though the place wasn't particularly busy. There wasn't even any bread with the appetizer, as is customary in a Turkish restaurant. This is beyond disrespectful. We will definitely not visit the place again and won't recommend it to anyone. This was the first and last time.

It's not a Turkish restaurant, as I expected. You speak to the waitress in Turkish, and she answers in German. My Iskender Kebab had a huge chunk of fat. I asked for more bread, and they forgot. But those are small mistakes that every restaurant makes. The food was good, the service okay, and the atmosphere pleasant.

The man with glasses who brings bread in the morning cannot be a tradesman. First learn how to treat people. You immediately snap at people. I won't come here again. Show love and respect to people. I am a customer. I have also been a tradesman. I would never treat a customer like this. I wrote this for the man with glasses. He is very bad and snaps at people.

Anyone who thinks that being cheap means getting quality is wrong. I ate a kebab from there yesterday. Unfortunately, the flatbread was dry, so I'm giving the food four stars. What a shame.

Iskander kebab was really delicious

!Warning! We went because the reviews were pretty good, and I've eaten kebabs there a few times, and they were always pretty good. This time there were five of us, and we each had something different. The service was okay, it was quick, but our food arrived a long way apart, so we couldn't eat together. My kofte was very good, the salad and rice were great, so no one complained about the taste, and the price was right. But afterwards, everyone who ate lamb had food poisoning with severe symptoms, which is just unacceptable. That's why the rating is unfortunately so bad :(

Yes, my wife was on ward B4. The staff was super friendly and did everything possible for my wife, but she had to be transferred to B9 but she was just as well looked after there. The hospital is recommended. The staff and doctors are nice and know what they are doing

Unfortunately, the staff doesn't pay attention to this! There are also leftover food everywhere on the floor in the restaurant. For the poor quality and dirty furnishings, the price was not justified at all. Unfortunately, it wasn't the first time I've experienced it in this restaurant, so I would like to share my experience. 29€ gone and left with a disappointing impression. For me it was the last time! At the checkout I saw a new plate being prepared on the grill. This one was dirty at the edge of the plate. The salad was prepared with bare hands. Not really appetizing considering the neglected cleanliness. I can't understand the 4.8 stars!

The kebab meat is very delicious. A little oily, but that's how it is when 100% meat is used instead of minced meat and turkey meat.

I have never eaten so badly on Ramadan and have honestly never been so disappointed by the staff. It took me 40 minutes to order even though I arrived 40 minutes earlier and made a reservation. I had to sit outside. The kebab had more salad than meat as you can see in the picture. Honestly disaster.

Good evening I made reservations for today with 4 friends to break the fast. We arrived and were informed that our seat was outside, it was evening and cold. Incredible!! After 10 minutes of discussion with the owner, we still have to sit outside. In short, the owner didn't want to see that it was a mistake on his part and that he had forgotten our reservation!!! After the starter we waited 45 minutes for our main course. The food was inedible, hard, cold and raw. It simply cannot be described in more detail. We all left our plates behind. The worst thing about it all was the audacity that we paid €103.56 for 4 mixed grill plates and 4 ayran. And he wanted a tip and asked if we liked the food... unbelievably, after 5 minutes of discussion, we left the shop because otherwise the situation would have escalated. There were also masculine men sitting in the back who belonged to the owner and were shouting in our direction. Never again never never never again...
