It's a really great restaurant, especially the leaf-wrapped doner kebab is delicious, I liked it very much.

The soup tasted of absolutely nothing. The lentil soup (Mercimek) looked and tasted unappetizing, like baby food. The antep-paça was just water with a little meat. The mezze arrived incorrectly (eggplant instead of carrot).

The food was really delicious; however, waiting almost an hour for it, especially when guests who arrived after you received their food first, is quite annoying. Then a few items were missing and only arrived after we asked for them. So, if you're prepared to spend 2-3 hours on a mixed grill, this is the place for you.

I first went there 10 years ago, and today was my second visit. Just like the first time, I wasn't disappointed. The doner kebab with rice was delicious. The service was attentive. Clean individual restrooms with bidets (Taharet-Musluğu) (at least in the men's restroom; as a man, I obviously can't comment on the women's restroom :-) ) Small dining room for 1-2 people. I'd say the parking situation is mediocre (at lunchtime, on a Saturday), but I don't have regular experience with it. I'd gladly come again. I wish the Bizim Çorbacı team continued success!

Very good restaurant with friendly service. The food is very good, but definitely not cheap, but rather at the higher end for this type of restaurant. The doner meat is very tasty and of good quality, although I've had some that were very dry due to very little fat. Otherwise, highly recommended.

The head and pacha was very good, with a bone inside, but it was tolerable. Frankly, we came for the döner kebab, but it seemed a bit angry, and it was tearing apart while eating, especially the iskender kebab. Also, some of the döner kebab on the döner plate was quite burnt, so I was surprised they brought it. I even intentionally left it on the plate, but no one asked. The guy working there was very attentive, thankfully, but the young guy wasn't. The desserts were also good. And when I finally asked for tea, the lady just put it right in front of my son without saying anything. I think she should think twice before putting tea in front of a two-year-old. It could have been a sudden accident.

We went to eat Iskender, it is beyond wonderful, the taste is amazing, it is as good as the döner in Turkey, we wanted plain döner for the kids, but it was a different taste. "Bizim Çorbacı" in Gelsenkirchen completely impressed us. The kebab was extremely delicious, a real treat even by Berlin standards. The service is professional, friendly, and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. The only minor complaint: For us Berliners, they should have added garlic sauce. Otherwise, the prices are very fair, and the ambiance in the restaurant is truly pleasant and inviting. All in all, a great place to enjoy delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. I've never eaten such a bad kebab in my life. The meat smelled of fat, was full of fatty tissue, and was dripping – simply unappetizing. On top of that, the tables weren't particularly clean. I had to wait almost 30 minutes for a simple kebab durum. I ordered it with tzatziki, but all I got was some kind of thin yogurt and water sauce. The salad was labeled "with salad," but in fact, it only consisted of a few tomatoes and cucumbers – nothing else. I came all the way from Essen because everyone on TikTok was raving about this place. Honestly, I don't understand the hype at all. For that price, you can get much better quality elsewhere – like at Haus des Döner or other chains. A complete disappointment for me and I wouldn't recommend it.

The food is delicious elsewhere, and at least the drinks come. Also, please don't just turn regular kofte into Sivas kofte. Sivas kofte is something completely different. We've eaten real Sivas kofte in Sivas, including at Ahmet Usta, and we know our stuff. You can't just call regular kofte Sivas kofte. Stop it. Sivas kofte is made from good meat, kneaded by hand for a very long time, with no spices, nothing but salt, and is stored for days before being fried. This was my first visit. Bizim Corbaci has a very large selection, from doner kebabs, soups, pide to desserts, they have it all. I ordered a yogurt soup (yayla çorbası), a doner kebab plate with rice, and peach iced tea (Elephant Bay iced tea, in my opinion the most delicious iced tea ever). The soup was delicious. The doner kebab is one of the tastiest doner kebabs I've tried (it's in my top 3). I was here a second time. This time I ordered lentil soup and iskender. I rarely eat iskender outside of Turkey, but this one is very close to the one from Turkey. The meat is tender and tastes very delicious. The lentil soup was excellent. If you live in Gelsenkirchen or the surrounding area and haven't tried this doner kebab yet, you're missing out. When I'm in Gelsenkirchen, I will definitely stop by again.

The doner is actually good, but not as unique as everyone claims. Doner meat is pure meat, not minced meat, but not really steak meat as they say. It has a slight fat content with lumps that you can pick out on the plate, which in turn keeps the meat juicier than at Sefa Döner in Bonn (real steak meat, but due to less fat, a bit drier but with a truly authentic steak flavor).

The soup tasted very good. However, the main course of the day, Kurufasulye, was unfortunately very disappointing in terms of taste. The katmer wasn't as good as it used to be either.

I visited Bizim Çorbacı Deluxe in Gelsenkirchen today and left with mixed feelings. The food itself, especially the Turkish specialties, was very tasty and truly delicious. Unfortunately, there was one serious incident that significantly marred my experience. I found a piece of glass in one of the dips, which I had in my mouth while eating and chewed on. This is, of course, not only extremely unpleasant but also potentially dangerous. What disappointed me most, however, was the staff's reaction. When I reported the incident, they simply asked if everything was okay. A sincere apology or a gesture of goodwill, such as a price reduction or replacement, unfortunately did not materialize. I would have expected a more professional and understanding response. Due to the good taste, I'm still giving it 3 stars, but the incident with the glass and the staff's lack of response are absolutely unacceptable and left a very negative aftertaste. I hope the restaurant takes this opportunity to improve its quality control and handling of customer complaints.

We visited the shop thanks to an advertisement on TikTok. The Yayla wheat soup tasted very bland, and the wheat wasn't quite firm. The price of €8 per bowl is very high. The chicken skewer plate was very dry, either because it was grilled for too long or not marinated properly. The parking situation on site is not great. There's no need to pay another visit.
