Ate a kebab in Schwerin again after a long time and was pleasantly surprised.
The kebab was very tasty, the bread was crispy and the portion size was sufficient.
In terms of quality, the food is far from Lord level. The dürüm is flaky and tough and falls apart when eaten. The veal consists of 80% minced meat and tastes almost artificial. The chicken was cold, so pushing the grill to the spit for less than 1 minute didn't help. Red cabbage is not fresh, but slightly pickled and watery. The garlic "sauce" has a mushy consistency and the taste is far from a garlic sauce.
The predecessor was better. That was the first and last time at the Lord of Döner.
I can't help, after eating I just sat on the toilet for the next two days, meat wasn't cooked through, food was served carelessly! That would be a case for the health department. I made a report.
Never again!!!
SIMPLY DISASTER!!! I made an order and they just send whatever they want!!! Really disappointing!!
Better order somewhere else. NO MORE HERE!
I give one star as a “gift”.
Sometimes I wonder why people are so mean with the ratings. We purchased takeaway dönner and falafel here twice, both times were pleased with the value for money ratio. It is cheap, it is open when almost nothing else is, and the food is fresh and tasty. We don't go here for the atmosphere, we go here when we are hungry and just arrived from a late trip, and it never disappointed us.
It's not a 5-star restaurant, but a 4-star snack bar. For me, it's important that the staff is very friendly. The gentleman was so friendly that he even gave me a good piece of baklava for free as a sample. The doner kebab was very solid, the meat was very good, and the bread wasn't homemade, but it was still fresh.
Definitely recommended
