EAT HERE! Seriously, we ate here and the food was amazing. There was only one person there who was waiter and cook and everything else, so service was slightly slow, but not a lot of customers so all was good. After a few weeks of good German food we were craving vegetables so hunted for Thai. This place was just what the doctor ordered.

I wish I could rate this restaurant better because it really has a lot of positive sides. The atmosphere is inviting, the location is excellent, and the attention - especially from the gentleman I think is the boss - was remarkable. The rest of the team I met also exuded a warm friendliness and I felt really comfortable there. The wine list is also well stocked and offers a nice selection. Now about the food: Let's start with the positive. The meat – I had beef – was simply fantastic! It was tender, cooked to perfection and deserves high praise. Unfortunately, the preparation didn't quite keep up with the taste. The dish tasted okay, but it seemed very “Germanized”. I don't know how to describe it better, but for me the authentic Thai taste was missing. Maybe I'm going too far out on a limb, but I would assume that the cook is not Thai. Of course, this is just my personal assessment and I could be wrong. Since I am passionate about Thai food and often cook this cuisine myself, I know the typical taste of dishes like Laab or Nua Isan very well. Unfortunately, this meal was far from that: too sweet, too mild, and missing that certain something that makes Thai dishes so special. The iceberg lettuce in the warm sauce wasn't my cup of tea either - and also something I don't know in this form from Thailand. That's a real shame, because otherwise the restaurant has great potential and could be a real recommendation.

The atmosphere is nice, but unfortunately the service is not very attentive. It's cleared away late and it takes a long time to order. Not proactive. Our veggie dishes were very bland. Tasteless and not enough sauce. The price is cheap for that. There would be a lot of potential there.

Thai restaurant in a restored grain mill next to the river. The setting is beautiful, but the food is just so so. The red curry lacked flavor, the duck meat in particular being unrecognizable. The pad thai was okay, but nothing exceptional; we expected more for €24. In general, the food is overpriced since the quality is just average for a thai place. Only the dessert—black sticky rice with mango—was worth the money. Service is poor as well: they only had two waiters for 20 tables or so, meaning that we needed a lot of patience.

Authentic experience. The service took a little while, but the food was seasoned perfectly. Definitely very good value for money, you get a large portion. The decor wasn't too kitschy either.

Unfortunately it doesn't taste like Thai food, probably because the operators aren't Thai. I have been to Thailand many times and my girlfriend is Thai. We can't understand the good reviews. They probably come from people who have never been to Thailand. The service doesn't understand German, English or Thai. We wanted to help her and wanted to tell her that in Thailand they serve chili powder and sugar with Pad Thai. She didn't understand. I asked her if she had ever been to Thailand. Didn't understand her. She says she has only been here three months and can't say anything. My girlfriend thought the food was terrible, I think you can eat it, but it's just not Thai food.

Simply delicious and good value for money

I don't know if the writers of these reviews have ever been there, but the food is good, always has been.
