Delicious food and friendly staff

We came across this restaurant for the first time today as part of an invitation. We can only say: we are thrilled! We ate the best curry ever here! The service is extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating. The interior is cozy and modern, and there is also a pretty terraced garden. We are happy about the new discovery and are coming gladly again.Special dessert tip: the fried, flambéed ice cream with coconut flakes: simply delicious!

Food is fantastic and ready quickly

The food was good, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was clean and cozy. The duck is really of excellent quality. We reserved a table online and that worked without any problems. Only the price of just under €95 for 3 dishes and 3 drinks results in a point deduction. On the pictures: 91 with used Noodles 92 with used Noodles 85 with used Noodles

Food was good as we expected it. Service was Great, too. Our reservation was around 5:30pm and it‘s summer. Place was a bit hot, of course, but we have flies joining us. I would suggest to place screen windows, or doors, to rid of the flies. Still, over-all experience was great. Serving was also a good amount. We‘ll definitely come back at another season. Kudos!

Incredibly delicious food, huge portions and very friendly servers. We had 2 of the crispy duck dishes (Ginger and Thai Whiskey) and both were amazing.

The two of us had dinner yesterday. Even though all the tables were occupied, the food came quickly. It was very good again and we'll be back.

Friendly and courteous service. Huge portions (who else should order starters and/or desserts?). My duck in teriyaki sauce with vegetables was good but not a highlight. The fact that the boss and his son had to sit right next to us in the otherwise empty restaurant disturbed us a bit when we were exchanging our first impressions. Unfortunately, the outdoor area is right next to a large parking lot and, in our opinion, you cannot enjoy your meal comfortably and in peace on weekdays, when the neighboring shops are open.

Pleasantly impressed by the friendly and smiling staff, the speed with which you are served, but also the quality of the food. I recommend with love! Ps: as negative points, I find it slightly embarrassing that when you bring the note, you are told 3 times that the tip is not included. Anyway, I would have left it either specified or not, but it's an embarrassing situation to be reminded of a totally voluntary action. I spent 66E for 2 portions of duck with rice, respectively noodles, 2 beers, 1 mineral water, 1 dessert.

The service, the operation was pleasantly friendly. We both had a little bit to complain about the meal, hence only four stars. The starters alone would have been worth five stars. The ambience is very simple, I like it or it's enough, others don't. We'll definitely come back again.

I think the prices are far too high for the performance. 22€ for a portion of duck, which is nothing special in terms of quality and the portion size is smaller than most others. Most of the food on the plate is vegetables and sauce. Duck rather little. A drink €6. In my opinion, this is not justified despite inflation.

The duck is very tasty and the service is on point

The service was so excellent that I was almost shocked and briefly wondered whether I was still in Germany. The gentleman even showed me how to eat the Asian pancakes I ordered. By the way, these were so delicious that I already told my friends about the place, even though I was only there yesterday. The black sticky rice was also super tasty and more than deserved the “not too sweet” award. The baked wontons for starters were also great. Really recommended :)

Very tasty curry. Green Thai curry is slightly spicy as described on the menu and also a good portion to fill you up. The vulcano rolls are also a very good appetizer. Service is also on point for a nice evening

A great restaurant with a somewhat unusual menu but easy to understand after a closer look. The food is excellent and the staff, despite the stress, are always friendly and very helpful if you have any questions. Reservation should be mandatory. There are enough parking spaces available. Cash and card payments are accepted.

There were 4 of us and we had several dishes, from starter to dessert, every meal was really a pleasure! Everything was fresh and very tasty. However, the service could still do with some work, we waited a long time for our drinks and the food came before the drinks. All courses were served one after the other. Sweet little location, highly recommended, gladly again.

Duck & Curry offers an impressive selection of delicious dishes in a stylish setting. The specialty, duck and curry, is a true taste experience. The friendly service rounds off the experience perfectly. A must for foodies!

Simply furnished and therefore a bit too cool, without plants or anything that makes the atmosphere warmer. Drinks without coasters, so anything that gets wet gets smeared on the table. There are still plastic barriers between the tables Salad was among the hot noodles.

We were surprised. We expected something different from the ambience, but the team is warm and attentive in a small restaurant. There's nothing to criticize in terms of taste, but you don't have to expect a culinary highlight either. We would come again. Very fair priced.

Not particularly nice, the service is not helpful either (due to an unprinted voucher, the previously promised discount was not granted). I don't have to go there a second time.

Wir waren an unserem Jahrestag dort essen. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Ente vor allem. Ich hatte schon so lange keine gute Ente mehr gegessen. Das Ambiente könnte man noch verbessern. Wir kommen wieder! :-)

Location am Stadtrand Nürnbergs. Ambiente ist ok aber nicht zu sehr einladend. Eher kühl eigerichtet. Große Glaswände prägen die Räume. Essen war gut. Preise ok. Service ebenso nur Ok.

Das Essen war nur mittelmässig der Preis in meinen Augen zu teuer.Der Service war ok.Das Ambiente erinnert mich leider nur an ein Fast Food Restaurant, keine Tischdecken,kein Blumenschmuck und leider auch Spinnweben in den Ecken genau über dem Tisch. Nicht das Restaurant meiner ersten Wahl.

Von außen wirkt das Lokal eher unscheinbar, aber das Essen ist wirklich gut und schön angerichtet. Auch über Menge und Preis kann man sich nicht beschweren. Wer in der Nähe ist und Hunger hat, sollte mal dort vorbei schauen!

Gute thailändisches Küche. Die Auswahl der Speisen konzentriert sich auf die bekanntesten thailändischen Gerichte. Es werden leckere Variationsmöglichkeiten angeboten. Sehr nette Bedienung. Das Ambiente ist durchschnittlich. Aus meiner Sicht sind die Preise überdurchschnittlich hoch, muss aber jeder selbst entscheiden.

Sehr gute Auswahl an leckerem und gesundem Essen. Komme gerne hierher und lass es mir gut gehen, wie als wäre ich in Thailand.

Tolles Essen bei tollem Service!

Gutes Thairestaurant. Sehr schneller und freundlicher Service. Die Ente war nicht schlecht aber auch nicht überragend. Das Ambiente ist eher kühl mit schwarzen und violetten Möbeln.

Jeder Besuch ein Hochgenuss. Man wird traurig, wenn man satt ist, weil das Essen so gut schmeckt. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem weiterempfehlen, der gutes Essen und freundliches Personal schätzt. Die Preise sind sind top. Ich wünsche den Mitarbeitern stets kühle Kopfkissen und dass ihnen nie die Ärmel beim Händewaschen runterrutschen.

Ich kann das Hühnchen mit Erdnusssauce (Nummer 33) vollstens empfehlen. Preise bewegen sich für die Lage eher im oberen Niveau (15€-20€ pro Gericht), jedoch sind die Portionen sehr groß. Würde es nochmals besuchen.

Unsere Entengerichte waren lecker knusprig und saftig. Das Gemüse war vielfältig und mit leichtem Biss.

Leider war unser Essen nicht so schön wie auf vielen der Fotos angerichtet. Das Fleisch kam einfach in einer Schüssel und die Soße extra dazu. Die Portionen waren mehr als reichlich, geschmacklich war es auch gut. Ich hätte mich aber lieber nicht an der Ente für knapp 20 Euro überfressen und mich stattdessen über eine günstigere normale Portion gefreut und noch einen Nachtisch gegessen.

Absolut begeistert von meiner Erfahrung im Duck & Curry in Nürnberg! Das Essen war einfach umwerfend - die Aromen explodierten förmlich auf meiner Zunge. Das Entengericht war zart und knusprig zugleich, während das Curry mit seiner perfekten Balance aus Gewürzen meine Geschmacksknospen verzauberte. Der Service war außergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam, und die gemütliche Atmosphäre des Restaurants trug dazu bei, dass ich mich sofort wohl fühlte. Ganz klar ein kulinarisches Juwel in Nürnberg - ich kann es kaum erwarten, wieder dorthin zurückzukehren!

Ordered take out from here after a wet cold day. The owner (?) on the phone understood enough English to help us place our order (English menu is available online). Their Thai food hit the spot. The spice level of the curry was good (not spicy but you can taste something more than mild). The curry portions are good for sharing and comes with enough rice and has plenty of veggies. Pad Thai with tofu and prawns was really good too.

Die Reservierung hat problemlos geklappt bei schneller Bestätigung seitens des Restaurants. Von außen vermutet man eigentlich nichts besonderes,doch davon sollte man sich nicht täuschen lassen. Ein höflicher Empfang und eine zügige freundliche Bewirtung. Das Essen (Ente mit Whiskey-Sosse) und der super schmackhafte Eistee begeisterten uns. Top!!!

We stopped here on the way to Nuremberg/Munich from Berlin. The crispy duck dishes were really tasty. The red curry was just the right amount of spicy and flavorful. Vulcano rolls were really good too. Perfect spot to stop at!

Vielleicht das beste Thai-Restaurant der Stadt: grandioses Essen, überragender Service, schönes Ambiente, zentrale Lage im Osten der Stadt - wirklich alles top. Von Dienstag bis Samstag attraktive Mittagstisch-Angebote - schon die Tom Yam Gai-Suppe als Vorspeise ist ein Gedicht. Parkplatz vor der Tür.

We went to this restaurant because we stayed nearby and the reviews were good. After a starter with fried vegetables, nicely made but only just tasty, we went for the laab salad with beef. Definitely not value for money: too small, unattractive, not really Thai feeling Service was attentive, maybe because we were the only guests ? No, not again.

Fantastisches Essen! Lasst euch nicht vom Standort & Äußerem täuschen! Unfassbar lecker und super frisch! Ich habe in Deutschland noch nie so köstliches asiatisches Essen gehabt. Relativ kleine Karte, verglichen mit anderen Restaurants, aber alles auch vegetarisch erhältlich. Jederzeit wieder!

An unserem ersten Abend in Nürnberg sind wir hier zum Abendessen gewesen. Das Essen schmeckt wirklich sehr gut und das Inhaber-Paar ist ausgesprochen nett und witzig. Das Lokal liegt außerhalb der schönen Innenstadt, aber man kann in ca. 30 Min. zu Fuß dort hingehen. Nicht wundern, in der Gegend befinden sich vor allem Supermärkte und Autowaschanlangen. Aber das Restaurant und die Terasse sind gut eingerichtet. Nach dem Essen kann man problemlos in die Altstadt für einen Drink gehen. Für Liebhaber der thailändischen Küche - vor allem, wenn man knusprige Ente mag - auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert. Man sollte auf jeden Fall reservieren.
