Duck & Curry in Nürnberg

We used to frequent Duck&Curry on Regensburger Straße, and this was our first visit to their new location in Nuremberg since they moved. The only downside is that parking around the restaurant is really difficult. You have to drive around quite a bit and search for a spot. Taking public transport is definitely the better option. But that's really the only criticism. Otherwise, in my opinion, the restaurant is nicer and larger than before, the food is still incredibly delicious, and the whole team is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were a group of seven, and everything was absolutely fine and highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

We went back to Duck&Curry last night for the first time in a while and, just like before, were absolutely delighted. The service was still incredibly friendly and fast, the food was superb, and the duck was divine.

We visited Duck & Curry again for the first time since they moved to their new location, and everything was excellent, just like always 🤩 The staff was incredibly dedicated and friendly, and the food was outstanding, as always 🥰 Please keep up the great work; we'll definitely be back 😋

The Duck & Curry Restaurant impressed with its tried-and-tested concept, even after the move! The staff is extremely dedicated, friendly, and attentive; you immediately feel welcome. After 8 p.m., it's easy to get a table. The dishes are incredibly delicious and, as a highlight, can be combined flexibly – whether with meat or vegetarian, with the perfect sauces, all fresh and flavorful. The roast duck is highly recommended. The new premises are modern and beautifully designed; you can tell that a lot of attention has gone into the details. The only small drawback: there are hardly any parking spaces nearby. However, the restaurant is very easily accessible by tram. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not easily accessible for wheelchair users due to the stairs. Overall, highly recommended – I'd be happy to come back!

We found our curry dishes to be very tasty. We were very pleased with the friendly service and the atmosphere was quite pleasant. A good, upper-middle-range restaurant that we would happily recommend.

Finally back! We were at the newly opened Duck & Curry at its new location today. As usual, the service was very attentive and friendly, the food was excellent with a virtually unchanged menu, and the ambiance was nicer and warmer than at the old location. A real recommendation!

I wanted to order two meals at around 9:30 p.m. The waitress came over and told me, "Hurry up, we're closing soon." We usually close at 10 p.m. I still have half an hour. If they don't want to, they won't take any more orders. And it's so expensive.

Unfortunately, this was our last time eating at Duck! It's a shame that this wonderful restaurant has to close. We thank you for many wonderful hours in this wonderful restaurant and wish all the staff all the best. Perhaps you'll find a new restaurant, and then we'll definitely see you again. Excellent value for money, plentiful dishes...

The first visit to Duck&Curry food was really tasty 😋 Service was very friendly Ambience something needs to be done again what bothered me were the partitions between the tables, the Corona feeling still comes through..

By far the best! Ambiance... well it's more of a larger snack bar. But no matter - the food there is absolutely top class.

We have reserved a table. After the reception, the menu was handed out. After about 5 minutes the order was taken and after 10 minutes our food arrived. And it was super good and tasty too. After 45 minutes we were ready again, strengthened and able to go to our concert. Top restaurant.

Highly recommended, the food tastes very good and we always receive a very warm welcome.

We went to Duck and Curry today because our Thai tribe was unfortunately already overcrowded. A reservation is also recommended on Saturday, but we were still able to get a free spot. Unfortunately the food wasn't really good. The duck was fine, but the sauce wasn't really that great. The vegetables are just okay and the handful of cheap salad is only there to make the plate look fuller. Despite repeated and insistent requests, the food was not served spicy. The staff was typically friendly. First and last visit.

Very nice restaurant, very nice service and really good food. A visit that is worth it.

Very tasty dishes and friendly, fast service. We got a table for two on a weekday evening without a reservation. A little more expensive than other Thai restaurants but for us it was still worth it (duck - around €22, curry - around €14). Vegetarians also get along very well with the food.

GREAT FOOD / ATTENTIONAL STAFF A business trip brings me here. The entrance is a bit hidden. The food is very tasty and the portions are very generous. We chose the mixed starter plate, a dish with duck and the flambéed ice cream for dessert. In terms of taste, everything was a highlight. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come here again

I ordered volcano rolls and Singapore laksa soup. All dishes were prepared in advance and reheated. This way there is no crunchy coating and the dish tastes like rubber. Overall it's not bad, but it's the taste of a cheap fast food restaurant, not a restaurant. The photo shows laksa soup: is it a soup?

My favorite restaurant. When I come to Nuremberg it is always a must to eat there or take some food with me.

Friendly and courteous service. Huge portions (who else should order starters and/or desserts?). My duck in teriyaki sauce with vegetables was good but not a highlight. The fact that the boss and his son had to sit right next to us in the otherwise empty restaurant disturbed us a bit when we were exchanging our first impressions. Unfortunately, the outdoor area is right next to a large parking lot and, in our opinion, you cannot enjoy your meal comfortably and in peace on weekdays, when the neighboring shops are open. Were there again today and were once again served extremely well and friendly. The food was very tasty and the boss didn't bother us. Certainly not the last time I've been here. Price/performance fits.

Delicious food and friendly staff

We came across this restaurant for the first time today as part of an invitation. We can only say: we are thrilled! We ate the best curry ever here! The service is extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating. The interior is cozy and modern, and there is also a pretty terraced garden. We are happy about the new discovery and are coming gladly again.Special dessert tip: the fried, flambéed ice cream with coconut flakes: simply delicious!

Food is fantastic and ready quickly

The food was good, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was clean and cozy. The duck is really of excellent quality. We reserved a table online and that worked without any problems. Only the price of just under €95 for 3 dishes and 3 drinks results in a point deduction. On the pictures: 91 with used Noodles 92 with used Noodles 85 with used Noodles

Food was good as we expected it. Service was Great, too. Our reservation was around 5:30pm and it‘s summer. Place was a bit hot, of course, but we have flies joining us. I would suggest to place screen windows, or doors, to rid of the flies. Still, over-all experience was great. Serving was also a good amount. We‘ll definitely come back at another season. Kudos!

The two of us had dinner yesterday. Even though all the tables were occupied, the food came quickly. It was very good again and we'll be back.

Pleasantly impressed by the friendly and smiling staff, the speed with which you are served, but also the quality of the food. I recommend with love! Ps: as negative points, I find it slightly embarrassing that when you bring the note, you are told 3 times that the tip is not included. Anyway, I would have left it either specified or not, but it's an embarrassing situation to be reminded of a totally voluntary action. I spent 66E for 2 portions of duck with rice, respectively noodles, 2 beers, 1 mineral water, 1 dessert.

The service, the operation was pleasantly friendly. We both had a little bit to complain about the meal, hence only four stars. The starters alone would have been worth five stars. The ambience is very simple, I like it or it's enough, others don't. We'll definitely come back again.

I think the prices are far too high for the performance. 22€ for a portion of duck, which is nothing special in terms of quality and the portion size is smaller than most others. Most of the food on the plate is vegetables and sauce. Duck rather little. A drink €6. In my opinion, this is not justified despite inflation.

The duck is very tasty and the service is on point

The service was so excellent that I was almost shocked and briefly wondered whether I was still in Germany. The gentleman even showed me how to eat the Asian pancakes I ordered. By the way, these were so delicious that I already told my friends about the place, even though I was only there yesterday. The black sticky rice was also super tasty and more than deserved the “not too sweet” award. The baked wontons for starters were also great. Really recommended :)

Very tasty curry. Green Thai curry is slightly spicy as described on the menu and also a good portion to fill you up. The vulcano rolls are also a very good appetizer. Service is also on point for a nice evening

Mittagskarte und Abends kann man hier gut essen. WC ist vernachlässigt, solange gutes Essen aus der Küche kommt ist Fokus auf Essen machen ganz gut.

A great restaurant with a somewhat unusual menu but easy to understand after a closer look. The food is excellent and the staff, despite the stress, are always friendly and very helpful if you have any questions. Reservation should be mandatory. There are enough parking spaces available. Cash and card payments are accepted.

There were 4 of us and we had several dishes, from starter to dessert, every meal was really a pleasure! Everything was fresh and very tasty. However, the service could still do with some work, we waited a long time for our drinks and the food came before the drinks. All courses were served one after the other. Sweet little location, highly recommended, gladly again.

Simply furnished and therefore a bit too cool, without plants or anything that makes the atmosphere warmer. Drinks without coasters, so anything that gets wet gets smeared on the table. There are still plastic barriers between the tables Salad was among the hot noodles.

We were surprised. We expected something different from the ambience, but the team is warm and attentive in a small restaurant. There's nothing to criticize in terms of taste, but you don't have to expect a culinary highlight either. We would come again. Very fair priced.

Location am Stadtrand Nürnbergs. Ambiente ist ok aber nicht zu sehr einladend. Eher kühl eigerichtet. Große Glaswände prägen die Räume. Essen war gut. Preise ok. Service ebenso nur Ok.

Das Essen war nur mittelmässig der Preis in meinen Augen zu teuer.Der Service war ok.Das Ambiente erinnert mich leider nur an ein Fast Food Restaurant, keine Tischdecken,kein Blumenschmuck und leider auch Spinnweben in den Ecken genau über dem Tisch. Nicht das Restaurant meiner ersten Wahl.

Bestes asiatisches Restaurant weit und breit.

Von außen wirkt das Lokal eher unscheinbar, aber das Essen ist wirklich gut und schön angerichtet. Auch über Menge und Preis kann man sich nicht beschweren. Wer in der Nähe ist und Hunger hat, sollte mal dort vorbei schauen!

Gute thailändisches Küche. Die Auswahl der Speisen konzentriert sich auf die bekanntesten thailändischen Gerichte. Es werden leckere Variationsmöglichkeiten angeboten. Sehr nette Bedienung. Das Ambiente ist durchschnittlich. Aus meiner Sicht sind die Preise überdurchschnittlich hoch, muss aber jeder selbst entscheiden.
