For us the best Thai restaurant in all of Middle Franconia. Weekly changing menu card. Very high quality ingredients, whether meat, fish or poultry, all vegetables are very tender (meat), fresh and strong in taste. Prepared like mom's (if my mom had been Thai, she would have cooked like this). Nicely decorated, good service, it's never loud and uncouth, a relaxed atmosphere. In summer you can sit outside. We always enjoy going there and it ALWAYS tastes great. Be sure to try the appetizers!

The food is super delicious! Every dish I tried exceeded my expectations. The recent price increase is noticeable, but the quality and taste definitely justify it. Absolutely recommended!

Went there again on Sunday after about 8 years, as they are rare in Nuremberg. We used to go there very often. The boss recognized us straight away and greeted his colleague and us hospitably. Food and service was great, just like before.

Personal experience at the Thai House Lemongrass – solid cuisine meets wasted potential I recently visited the Thai House Lemongrass with a friend - this time with the gourmet block, which allows two main courses for the price of one. The principle is simple: the cheaper dish is free - a popular option for culinary explorers with a savings factor. Outdoor area – More shade than charm Since it was pleasantly warm, we decided to sit outside. Unfortunately, the outside area didn't make an inviting impression: Some parasols were not open and there were no cushions on the chairs, so we had to get them ourselves. Without upholstery, however, you'll think twice about sitting down on the not-so-clean wooden surfaces wearing lighter-colored clothing - which is a shame, because first impressions count. Interior – Clean, but visibly showing its age At first glance, the inside is clean and decorative, but you can tell that the restaurant is in need of renovation. An example: the aquarium still contains fish, but is only half full and doesn't seem well maintained. What was also negative was that the staff at the counter often looked at their cell phones while guests were present. This seems inattentive and unfortunately does not reflect well on the service area, even if the team is generally polite. Food – The culinary lifeline In terms of taste, the kitchen delivers good, fresh Thai cuisine with authentic seasoning. The portions are sufficient and you feel full without feeling full. Small drawback: 50 cents extra were charged for a tiny bowl of coriander - that seems a little petty for a herb that is already standard in Thai cuisine. Service – Friendly, but with room for improvement The service staff is okay, but the impression remains: friendly but distant - especially if you come with a Schlemmerblock voucher. You don't feel unwelcome, but you don't really feel welcome either. A genuine smile or genuine interest in the guest is missing. Conclusion – lots of potential, little maintenance The Thai House Lemongrass scores with good food, but loses important points of approval in the areas of ambience, service and atmosphere. With more attention to detail - clean outdoor furniture, active service behavior, a modern room concept - this restaurant could be a real recommendation. So it remains a solid address for the hungry, but not a place to linger or enjoy with all your senses. Overall: 3 out of 5 stars
