Thai Food 1 in Nürnberg

zum 1ten mal probiert und finde es toll. OK, am Bestelltresen habe ich kurz das umkehren überlegt. Klein, eng, in der Virtine vorn die Zutaten aufegstapelt. ABER es sieht bei genauen Blick alles frisch aus. OK dann bestellt und entschieden gleich vor ORT zu essen. Platz ist sehr begrenzt zur PRIME TIME, hat auch a bisserl gedauert. Ist eben kein FAST FOOD, alles wird frisch zubereitet. Wir haben uns einmal ein scharfes spezial Curry und ein mildes bestellt und wollten jeder eine Suppe vorweg. Diese Bestellung wurde von der wahnsinnig netten Chefin am Bestellcounter gleich mal geändert! SUPPE GROOOS, mach 1x wenn zu wenig bestellst du noch mal... ;-) OK, dann war ich schon gespannt. Suppe kommt in zwei Schüssel und als Vorspeise genau richtig für zwei und auch noch super lecker, dazu sogar noch ein kleines Schüsselchen Reis. Was soll ich zum Curry sagen, SCHARF ist SCHARF! Aber beide SAULECKER, frische Zutaten, und einfach besonders auch von den Zutaten. Ich werde bestimmt noch mal hin gehen. UPDATE & Anmerkung: Mittlerweile immer wieder gern, ich fahre sogar einfach 30km um diese tolle und wirklich authentische Thai Food zu bekommen!

Geschmacklich in Ordnung, preislich ebenso, solange die lächerlich kleine Portionsgröße nicht einbezogen wird. Bedienung leider ein Totalausfall. Sowohl bei uns als auch bei anderen Gästen.

Hatte abends ente mit rotem Curry Reis und Gemüse bestellt und vor Ort abgeholt. Der Laden war gut besucht dauerte ca 15 min fertig. Als ich zu Hause ankam und mich auf das Essen freute , musste ich festlegen das ein Stückchen ente darin war. Quasi von einer Scheibe ente wo normaler weise so ca8 bis 10 schreiben normal sind war eine halbe Scheibe ente sprich ein Stückchen darin. Rufte dort gleich an um das zu klären usw. Wir wurde kein gehör geschenkt und auch nichts angeboten um das zu klären. Fuhr am nächsten tag dort vorbei um das nochmals anzusprechen und fragte ob sie mur denn die Hälfte des Essens also 7 euro zurück geben würden. Dies war ohne Erfolg. So das ich denn laden verlassen habe. Bin der Meinung das 7 Euro für Reis mut Gemüse genug gewesen wären. Fazit dem laden ist es völlig egal zufriedene Kundschaft zu haben und wenn ihnen mal ein Fehler unterläuft es ihnen egal ist. Bewertung 0,0 Sterne

Der wahre Geschmack Thalands, frische und großartige Zutaten, die hervorragenden Fähigkeiten der Köche und ein fantastischer Service – genau das ist die Essenz dieses Ortes. Wer authentische thailändische Küche auf höchstem Niveau erleben möchte, muss hier einfach vorbeischauen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Das ist mit Abstand der beste Thailänder wo es in Nürnberg gibt, ich würde sogar fast sagen in ganz Europa 😉

Bester Thai der Stadt. Kunde seit weit über 15 Jahren. Authentischer Geschmack gepaart mit dem "europäischen Luxus" von z.B. mehr verschiedenem Gemüse im Gericht oder hauptsächlich knochnelosem Fleisch. Die Chefin hat eine klare Linie und zieht diese durch = keine geschmackliche Verwässerung sondern authentischer Geschmack= scharfe Essen sind scharf, so wie in Thailand auch. Das hier kein Fine dining angeboten wird sollte jedem klar sein, es ist ein Imbiss mit entsprechendem Ambiente. Kein Gedimmtes Licht und Kuschelatmosphäre. Offene Küche, d.h. Essengerüche im Raum. Alles Themen die immer wieder "kritisiert" werden, für mich unverständlich, da offensichtlich und kalkulierbar. Ich komme immer wieder gerne, auch wenn ich mittlerweile weggezogen bin. Tipps: Nr.10 - Pad Krapao (Vorsicht, scharf) Sticky rice with mango ( als Nachtisch)

Leider war unser Besuch alles andere als zufriedenstellend. Nach 70 Minuten kam erst die Vorspeise, gefolgt von der Hauptspeise 15 Minuten später. Die Ente hatte einen unnatürlich blauen Schimmer, was sehr unappetitlich wirkte. Darüber hinaus fanden wir ein schwarzes Haar im Essen meiner Partnerin – absolut unhygienisch. Die Nachspeise, Sticky Rice, war ebenfalls enttäuschend: der Reis war versalzen und teilweise hart, was stark darauf hinweist, dass er nicht frisch war. Insgesamt war das Essen und der Service eine Enttäuschung – hier werden wir nicht noch einmal essen.

Die Qualität der Gerichte und der Bedienung ist top. Ich esse hier gerne - nachmittags aber vor allem im Außernbereich, da innen oft ein Schulkind mit lautem Handy spielt oder Hausaufgaben macht. Wegen dieser unangenehmen Geräuschkulisse 4 von 5 Sternen.

Super lecker, egal was man auf der Karte nimmt. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung. Preis-Leistung stimmt einfach. Jederzeit gerne!!!

Der beste Thai in Nürnberg. Wenn ich in der Stadt zu Besuch bin ist meine erste Anlaufstelle Thai food 1.

Super leckeres Essen, an Freundlichkeit und Sprache dürfte etwas gearbeitet werden.

Portionen werden kleiner und der Preis dafür größer. Wirklich schade, sind oft und gerne hier gewesen aber mittlerweile ist essen gehen Luxus.

Mega leckeres authentisches Thaifood. Imbiss Atmosphäre

Lecker und um diese Zeit auch schnell. Es gibt wieder gedämpfte Teigtaschen!!! Nach langer Zeit, In-house gegessen. Einfache Küche aber sehr tasty und schön anzusehen für dieses Niveau. Besser als bei vielen anderen, daher auch schon soooo lange so erfolgreich. Die Renovierung des Gastraumes hat gut getan muss ich sagen. Und natürlich, wir kommen wieder.

Essen seit vielen Jahren konstant super! Mega frisch und lecker. Wollten die Tage einen Tisch reservieren, es hieß es sei alles voll. Haben dann to Go bestellt. Als wir hinkamen, war gerade ein Platz frei geworden. Hatten wir uns gefreut und wollten dort essen, wurden aber vom jungen Mann darauf hingewiesen, dass wir ja to Go bestellt hatten und nun nicht dort essen könnten. Guter Service sieht anders aus! Sehr schade !

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr authentisch und gut. Preise haben leider angezogen in der letzten Zeit aber geschmacklich einfach weiterhin klasse!

Einfach Ja! Thai Food 1 ist top und überzeugt durch selbstgemachte Frühlingsrollen, Papaya Salat wie in Thailand, authentisches und frisches Geschmack der Gerichte. Absolut kein Vergleich zur Thai Food 2 wo das essen nur noch nach Maggi Gewürz schmeckt. Ich komme hier immer wieder gerne und werde demnächst von hier Catering bestellen. Danke und weiter so! ...erschreckend wenig vegetarische Gerichte auf der Karte! Diese sind dann auch fast nur mit Gemüse. Satt kann das ja nicht machen. Wäre doch ein guter Vorsatz für das neue Jahr das Konzept der Speisekarte zu überdenken...

This Thai restaurant offers authentic Thai flavors, 100% genuine. The owner provides excellent service, and the restrooms are clean. Eating here makes me feel home. I'm in love!

Great food and friendly service. We were here for a late Sunday lunch. We had chicken noodles which were great, but the standout was the red prawn curry with cashews. Just be aware that this place is cash only. You can order takeaway, but they don't have credit card facilities. We were lucky we had some cash on us.

Very delicious. The day I came, they had a spicy jungle curry with a Thai-style flavor. The dish was very big and the price was good. The owner, Auntie, was lovely.

I'm really disappointed with this restaurant. The portions are extremely small—a few thin slices of meat and some salad—but the prices are incredibly high. We had to wait around 40 minutes for our food, and there was no apology from the staff. The food itself was also disappointing. For this price, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant.

Thai Good 1 is my top Thai diner in town. check the blackboard over the counter, you find delicious seasonal specials up there.

Thai Food 1 is more like Thai Food 1+ with a star! We had No. 20 (front) and No. 59 (back). Until now, we've always been rather disappointed with Asian restaurants, as they only offer simple dishes for vegetarians. But at Thai Food 1 (No. 20 is also a simple dish but still very tasty and authentic), you'll find authentic and interesting dishes. The tofu was perfect, and No. 59 was simply something new and a taste sensation, a journey to Thailand. The chilies at the table are also breathtaking, just the way Thai should be. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back again!

I've been eating Thai food here for over 10 years because it's always been good value and delicious. However, prices have risen significantly over the last two years, and the quality and quantity have declined. The lady at the counter has never been friendly to me. She's very curt and has been taking orders for 10 years. I don't understand how you can call this friendly service. But whatever... I generally don't eat in because, then as now, the wait can easily be an hour. So I always order and pick up. What a shame, what a shame. I'm writing this in the hope that more emphasis will be placed on quality again.

My Gai Pad Bai Krapao had minced meat, but was otherwise rather simple, but tasty, and a fairly large portion. Thai basil was missing, as was the fried egg. The service was generally friendly. The price was reasonable at €12.50. The restrooms were clean and fully equipped.

Best Thai in Nuremberg! If there's no space, just ask at the counter, and the waitress will make room for you. Very friendly clientele, friendly service, and quick food preparation. My personal highlight is the beef salad with cilantro (not on the menu). Unfortunately, it's a bit noisy outside on Bucher Straße.

I've been working at this snack bar for 20 years. It's been good so far. But now the tricks are starting to appear. Prices have increased significantly. Portions have been halved. When I ask what's going on, I ignore them. After the third question: "You have to tell the boss." After another 10 minutes, the boss comes and yells at me. "I've always made small portions." Of course, I've only been coming here on and off for 20 years. Thousands have been given up. "If they don't want to eat, they have to leave." Okay, not anymore. They're so clever, they're quadrupling the prices compared to 5 years ago. Everyone sits there like sheep when I criticize them. Everyone is embarrassed. What pathetic "guests" they're all being taken for a ride. Unbelievable. They should double the price. A standard chicken dish with rice for €30. Then everyone would know what they're getting, no one would come anymore, and they'd rightfully go bankrupt in a few months.

Authentic enjoyment in a friendly atmosphere. The three of us were at Thai Food 1 in Nuremberg – completely satisfied. Tom Yum Gung, Khao Pad and Som Tam (papaya salad) were fresh, flavorful and served quickly. Friendly service, bright restaurant, fair prices. Authentic and pleasantly calm – gladly again!

For Thai food, it is still by far the best restaurant in Nuremberg and the surrounding area! Food: absolute class! We were only back in Thailand in February and returned full of melancholy. The food here gives you the feeling of being back in Thailand for the duration of your stay... The taste is incredibly good, the food is prepared quickly despite the store being well stocked, the plates are beautifully prepared and the price/performance ratio is absolutely good! If you want delicious food & the taste of Thailand, you'll get your money's worth here! I've been coming to this restaurant for almost 20 years now and have tried countless Thai restaurants in Nuremberg and the surrounding area, now well over 50! From small shops in the city center and the surrounding area to the "classy" restaurants, this restaurant is simply unrivaled in terms of both taste and price/performance! The only disadvantage - due to the deliberately smaller size of the restaurant and the high demand from customers, it is almost always full and can sometimes be a bit narrower - but that doesn't stop you from having good food. Always my pleasure!

Today I ordered fried noodles with chicken, sticky rice and sweet and sour duck. Unfortunately all three didn't taste that good, the sweet and sour duck was very cheeky with three pieces of meat. My noodles were barely or not at all fried and the sticky rice was dry. Ordered take away and ate it at home. 32€ for the three dishes. Service was friendly, the only positive thing.

Ordered take-out for two. The order was ready for pick-up in 20mins and the food tasted well (one of the 2 meals [#8] was missing the expected "Basilikum" though). It is also an inconvenience to be only able to pay cash these days - no other payment methods are accepted here. UPDATE: too full on Sunday evenings.

Food tastes excellent and like in Thailand. Service fast and reliable. Ambiance is more like a canteen but also very authentic.

Hello.... I ordered a portion of vegetables with red curry sauce and rice from this store yesterday. When I opened it at home, it contained: Not much rice, red, soupy curry sauce, a few tofu cubes (I don't like tofu) and NO vegetables!!!! Maybe three tiny crumbs. I know what a Thai vegetable curry should look like! When I went by there today, there was no apology, on the contrary, the lady kept waving her index finger in my face, justifying herself and as if I had misunderstood something. She didn't want to match my price on my next order there either. Reason: Gemuuuse is expensive! A reason to just leave it out?? Very cheeky behavior. At Netto I get: zucchini, peppers, onions, tomatoes, broccoli, etc. for 10 euros. Or I order a delicious, crispy 🍕 pizza. This shop is uncomfortable, busy, noisy atmosphere, the food is mediocre. End of announcement.

Authentic Thai food. Plenty of food. Good value for money. The auntie at the restaurant is very cute. All of the young people provided very good service. I recommend them. I will definitely make you miss Thai food.

Thai Food 1 impresses across the board with its excellent food - a full 5 stars for the authentic and excellently tasted dishes! The atmosphere is typical of Thai restaurants: simple but cozy and inviting. A small deduction in terms of service, as you have to place your order at the counter and are not served directly at the table - there are 4 stars here. Nevertheless, the staff is friendly and helpful, which makes the overall stay pleasant. A small disadvantage is the parking options. There are only a few parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant and a few on the side streets, but these are often legitimately occupied by residents. You should be patient here or plan a short walk if necessary. But no deduction for this. Overall, Thai Food 1 is highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Thai food!

Probably the best place to order authentic Thai food. They can be overwhelmed with orders sometimes, so you might wait longer than expected. But to me the waiting time has always been worth it. Extra points for offering duck without the crispy part. Also, if you wanna eat proper spicy stuff (not like touristic version), you’ll get it here.

If you want to eat typical Thai food, you've come to the right place! It's more like a snack bar. The food is super delicious 😋 no matter what is on the table, it tastes like in Thailand!

Super tasty and authentic, the style of the restaurant is also reminiscent of street food in Thailand. Very nice service, the food comes quickly, although many people also pick something up and everything is freshly prepared in a mini kitchen. My favorite dish: vegetarian green curry

Classic case of: what used to be an “insider tip” in the area, but is now generally completely overcrowded. Without a reservation you don't really need to go and even then you should bring enough time. You often notice how “first-time visitors” who have obviously come to the store are upset because everything takes so long… Authentic cuisine that you don't often find in Nuremberg. I haven't noticed any compromises in quality, but the prices are a little higher and the quantity is a little lower. Overall, it's still “cheap” and guarantees a lovely evening - something you should take your time for.

Good food, but it's a small restaurant and finding a place is not easy at rush hour. Food can take a while at peak times.

I already ate there when the shop opened. It was awesome back then. After years of break, I ordered two portions to take away around 5 p.m. But at first I was ignored for well over 5 minutes, no greeting, no question about what I would like to eat...then I had to wait another half hour for the food. At home I was disillusioned: portion was much too small for this price, no lettuce leaf or cucumber, even though Lab Gai... I ordered one portion extra spicy, but both were equally lightly seasoned... bland but otherwise ok. The store seems to be extremely busy, the staff and the size of the kitchen are totally overwhelmed... and the take-away portion, as I said, is a joke for the price. I don't need it again... for the money I paid I'd rather cook myself and be able to feed half a company.
